I’m sorry to have to leave a critical review, but they did not process my order in a timely manner, at least in my opinion. It took 3 days for them to get my shipment ready for UPS, according to tracking data. I didn’t expect the delay in shipping preparation. Usually you can expect stuff to go out in a day or two. My shipment still has not arrived in even a 7 day window with ground shipping. If you order from them, take this into consideration if you are on a timeline. 7 days out from order, still not delivered, still in transit. Very disappointing. They got back to me after several emails to explain that I should have understood their shipping parameters. Well, maybe, but it wasn’t clear to me it would take a long time to get things ready to be shipped, which in this case was being shipped in a birthday gift timeline. If you use them, don’t be in a rush or up the shipping charges to a higher level to make sure it gets there in a reasonable time frame.

My order took almost 3 weeks from order date to arrival which was longer than I had hoped (I live in Ohio). But other than the shipping time the bottle was perfectly protected and exactly what I ordered. I was able to get a barrel pick for a surprisingly good price as well which was a wonderful gift for my husband. I have plenty of items in my cart that I cant wait to get!

I was leery about ordering alcohol online as I had a bad experience about a year ago from a scam liquor company. So I made this order mainly because of PayPal, knowing that if there was an issue I could dispute it. Well, after this experience I have been very, very pleased with Top Shelf Wine & Spirits. Selection was amazing. Prices were more reasonable than most on hard to get brands and the shipping was quick. Items arrived in good condition and very well packed. Communication was very good. Buy with confidence here! I have already recommended them to several friends and I expect to be a regular customer. Keep up the great work.

I ordered some whiskey online to be shipped to me in another state. As mentioned by their website, it took 5 days for my items to leave their store (not including weekends). Once shipped, it was about 5 more days with UPS before they got to me. They arrived very well packaged and without issue. In total it took 10 days from my order being placed until I had them in my hands. I have seen other reviews that mention problems with getting any response when there are issues with their order, since I did not have any issues, I cant speak to that. My experience was good overall. Would order from again

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Genuinely the worst experience I have ever had with an online order. After selecting and paying for overnight shipping on a memorial gift, I went through two weeks of desperately emailing, calling and trying to get ahold of someone who could find my package. Ultimately, two separate packages were either sent via the wrong method (ground instead of air) -or- packaged and then left in the warehouse, not picked up. It finally arrived two weeks later than expected, which was embarrassing as it was meant to celebrate the life and legacy of the deceased.No one followed up. Then after being promised a full shipping refund, it did not arrive within the month. After following up for the umpteenth time, I was told that a partial refund was “the best the billing team could do”.Absolutely shocked at the lack of care, concern and delivery (pun intended) of what was promised, both literally and figuratively.

I purchased four bottles of high end tequila on December 2 to be delivered well ahead of the holiday season... Despite filing forms via their website as to their whereabouts on December 21, (no there are no humans to speak to despite their assertion that there are), only one delivery made it.. December 28. One bottle looks like it will be packed on January 4??? And I have filed a claim for the other bottle as it is MIA - UPS tracking number provided doesnt work. I will never use this company again.

I submitted 3 complaint forms on the website and sent 3 emails, and I have not heard from anyone even though they said they will respond in 1-2 business days.My next step will be to contact the Better Business Bureau to place a complaint.I paid for five 750ml bottles of Ron Abuelo 12-Year Two Oaks Añejo Rum and four bows. However, I only received 4 bottles.There’s no worst feeling for a costumer than feeling like a company has stole your money and is ignoring you.—-They eventually responded and I received the missing bottle. Mistakes happen, so I understand the missing bottle, but I don’t appreciate the poor customer service experience.

I had such a hard time finding Koloa Hawaiian Rum Punch at all other Big Alcohol Sales stores. Most of them don’t sell it or it was out of stock.They serve this on the Hawaiian Airline flights and it is delicious!!! I ordered a 3-bottle gift set for a retiring coworker on April 10th. On April 25th, two bottles were delivered, and 1/3 of the purchase price was refunded. Of course, the bottle that wasnt available was the only special bottle in the set which I cant find locally.As of May 6th, yes, they have a shipping policy which allows them to do this without contacting me, no, they cant allow me to return the two unopened bottles per their refund policy, and yes, the 3-bottle gift set is still listed as available for purchase on their website.Theyve been relatively polite in their communications and offered a 10% discount off my next purchase, but I wont roll the dice with them again to use it. Im not sure whether this was an intentional bait-and-switch, but I cant confirm it wasnt either.Order at your own risk; maybe your first experience will be better than mine.

The price was reasonable.Shipping is by UPS, and an adult signature is required for delivery. UPS attempted delivery 8 hours earlier than they said, and nobody was home. I ordered 80 mini whiskey bottles and got a shipping notification a few days after I placed the order - however, I realized that theyd simply created a shipping label vs. actually shipping it. I reached out multiple times before someone finally got back to me - nearly 2 weeks after placing the order! - and told me they didnt have what I ordered in stock, so they cancelled the order. The fact it took that long for them to notify me - and only after repeated emails on my part (they have no listed phone number) - left us in the lurch as we scrambled to find the product elsewhere. Don’t do it. this company is the worst. they have no compassion, and terrible policies. their solution is to talk to UPS directly and UPS says to talk to the sender directly. UPS faked my last delivery and it got sent back, which I wouldn’t of had an issue with, however when it gets sent back it is automatically returned and the shipping cost gets deducted from the return. I would highly recommend shopping at the Bottle Haus instead. at the very least their customer service department is friendly!

I have searched high and low for this particular champagne & Top Shelf Wine & Spirits has come through for me on 3 very special occasions. Sadly, I live in NYC and with the holidays, weather and pandemic shopping scene - items do take longer than normal to get to me. Top Shelf Wine & Spirits has met me in the middle with cost to ship (giving discount of $20) which has been helpful. But more than anything, their speedy response to email (almost too quick!) :) but very diligent about responding has made me feel good as a customer. Paul has always been kind too. I think the owner should hire a little more human power as I did put in my order on 12/16 and had it been shipped on 12/17, would have arrived in time by Christmas. I followed up today 12/21 to learn it had not been shipped and paid the extra $34 for two day shipping. After spending $1500, one would think that there may be a little more urgency, however, I understand times are busy with holidays. This is more directed to the owner than the associates as I know they are hustling as much as possible! :)

Horrible customer service - Would not recommendUpdate Since They Responded: I placed my order and their website only let me select UPS 3-day shipping which I paid for. Ground shipping was not even an option. (Other reviews also state this) When I look at the invoice it says Ground Shipping. After waiting 5 days for it to ship I contacted them through email because they do not answer their phone. I was first told they are processing the orders in the order they received them and then they said it would be processed faster with 3-day shipping and asked me to pay more for shipping. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I pay for something and it does not ship and then ask for more money to ship faster? I would have to be crazy to give them more money. So now its 6 days after the order and it still has not shipped. Its a pretty easy process, you get an order and then you ship it.

Ordered two bottles of Moët Grand Vintage 2015 for our wedding so that fiancé and I can have our own bottles that night that had some meaning to us since we met in 2015. We’ve always loved the previous vintage’s dating back to 2006 so this was a no brainer. They’ll sit until September and we’re excited to drink them. Placed two separate orders and it took an arm and a leg for someone to respond to the first inquiry after my first package didn’t arrive, the second time I sent over five emails to no avail over the second. Worst customer service I have experienced. Only gave 1 star because i had too. I ordered several bottles that never made it to my house. It was scheduled for delivery and I made sure I was home. The next day it showed returned to shipper, item damaged. I emailed the company and it took 4 days to get response. Never once did they try to make it right.. I explained i never saw package so how was i to know what items were actually damaged. I have yet to hear back. Very sad you have to take advantage of customers to make profit.

My birthday was last Friday, and I decided to treat myself to some Scotch. After poking around online, I came across Top Shelf. Im always a little leery about trying a new site, but read positive reviews on some whiskey forums and decided to give them a shot. I paid extra for UPS 2nd Day Air shipping, and just received delivery today. The bottles were well-packed and arrived unscathed. I was glad to see that they also unfolded and included the accompanying boxes. I am disappointed with this company site. I live in the Midwest & thought I try this site out for Spirit & wine we do not have here. Two times me & my friend tried to order something. The 1st time it told her that her order was canceled 2 days after making the purchase. So we figured she must have did something wrong. So I placed the order myself since it was going to be a surprise for me on a bottle of Spirit that I have been dying to try out. Everything went fine with my order confirmation number and even said what day it was going to be delivered. That day came & went so I contacted customer service thru email bcus thats the only option it gives you. Customer service contacted me next day saying my order was canceled the day of the delivery how & why was it canceled on the day of the delivery. That means it was never sent off to be canceled at the end of the day of it delivery thats a 1st for me. I live in Ohio and I order some scotch from Top Shelf. Everything went well with the order and they sent it out in a timely manner. Unfortunately, UPS was not so good with my package and broke it. Several emails went back and forth and Top Shelf did contact UPS and they refunded my money. Overall, the way Top Shelf did business was very professional. When the items I ordered were delayed in shipping I contacted customer service (CS) and asked to have package re-directed to UPS store (like their emails state) only to be told by UPS it had to come from the sender and not the receiver and the sender said it was something that only UPS could do. Guess who was stuck in the middle? Did not feel like CS assisted enough on getting this issue resolved and due to that the items will be sent back to them. It all could have been avoided if they stood behind what their policies stated.

Do not order online!!! I purchased 2 items from their website a Johnnie Walker Swing and Johnnie Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend Limited Edition 200th Anniversary Scotch and never received my order. First time my package went missing and they offered to resend it so I waited for a status and from them when its gonna be delivered and never got anything from them its already gonna be 2 months and nothing. I have tried to contact them but their customer service through email is very rude. Saying I couldnt get a refund because I did a dispute from PayPal of course Im gonna do one they didnt send my order and dont wanna give my money back!

Why I am leaving a one-star review. I ordered a gift for my brother for his birthday on Sunday the 13th of June. Their website mentioned that if I ordered before 2:30 On Friday the 11th of June that the items would be shipped that day so I figured the package would get there on Monday with the 2-day shipping option. Based on this knowledge I figured that would be okay, one day after his birthday, I see now I should have gone with overnight spent for the extra $30 because now its saying its not getting there till Wednesday which Im not even sure about that now because originally The tracking number was showing it was going to arrive on Monday. I used, and paid $50+, 2-day shipping factoring in Friday and Saturday so figured it would get there on Monday. What is this now being delivered at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday stuff. This is unacceptable and And I get this is probably more on UPS but its the only shipping service you offer so I will never use your service again.A frustrated customer,Remington Ferguson

You are putting this on Rabbit Hole to fix. Rabbit Hole WILL NOT address this issue. This is your issue to rectify. Please refund our shipping and the cost of the item as we are unable to consume whats left in the bottle after whats leaked out and the fact the cap is not longer attached. There was no clear shrink wrapped seal on the bottle when it left your store. Rabbit Hole says that makes it the resellers responsibility.

Ordered a bottle of knob creek small batch and was sent 9 year instead. upon requesting a return/refund they told me its the same bottle and refused it. theyre trying to hide behind a our pictures arent accurate clause which specifically says to refer to the title/description...which happens to also be incorrect for what theyre selling. currently working with my bank to dispute the charge. Anyone with any knowledge of whiskey knows that a no age statement is different than a specified age statement bottle. to say theyre the same is either willfully lying or has no business working with or selling fine liquors. I purchased the Patron Silver Tequila 2021 Mexican Heritage Tin online and received a very damaged product. The bottle was loose inside the tin and ended up breaking the bags of plastic beads and sand and denting the tin so badly it cannot stand up straight and the top cannot be put on correctly. It also chipped away at the patron bottle itself and there are shards of glass. I had shipping insurance (which covers damage to product during shipping) so I contacted customer support, they told me that the ‘tin’ is just product packaging so they could do nothing to help. Yet I bought this product solely for this special edition tin and it is even in the product name. When I expressed this to costumer service they stopped responding. Would never recommend buying from here.
