Made an appointment to get a tire patch. I picked up a screw right in the top of the tire. Made the appointment late in the day because my son was really excited to watch them change it. Received a call from the tech to discuss my appointment and he asked me if I was a tire expert. When I told him no he proceeded to tell me it may not be patchable and that I would likely need a new set of tires if that were the case because I would want the tread to match. It almost felt like he was trying to talk me out of coming down. I cancelled my appointment and went to Les Schwab on Contra Costa and the service was phenomenal. They patched the dang thing for free! Apparently they do free tire patches and still provide top notch customer service

This was the most awkward customer service I’ve experienced. I’m a technician myself as well as being in sales, so I get the industry. But the sales person helping me with tires was very unprofessional. First he told me the tire i special ordered were not good tires and should have gotten better ones . Which set off a red flag because come to find out what was actually ordered was not what I requested. All the bays were empty and told it was going to take all day…😒. Meanwhile the guy was talking for 20 mins about his car and how he would not have bought my truck where I bought it . Then he said the tires I was really wanted would be 2,000+ dollars plus a deposit from the tires that was ordered even though I asked if need payment before when I ordered them.But a lady also walked up saying she needed air in her tire due to a lack of air from a previous install of new tire. ( she was elderly ) even though the bays were empty he said “you have two options” raising his voice “ you can leave your care here or make a appointment “ and she just walked off very upset.I don’t leave bad reviews but I felt a need for this one. I went out of my way to support local the guy said he would call me back but never heard a thing from him since. So I found a place that did it In 45 mins since I had my kid with me and didn’t have to play the up sales game. Honesty keeps people coming back as well as customer service. Hopefully things can be turned around.

My wife took her jeep there today for an engine light and power stirring wheel noise. We went to this location before for our car issues with no problem but the last two times no Dave there and all different people all the time. the manager today told her he read the history (new tires a water pump change and some lights before) and told her that her car is a money pit! Suggested me to go to YouTube and change her light and that he wont take responsibility for any work done in the past but thats was not even the reason we were there for. Kept ignoring her and talking to me for her car and when she tried to explain her car issues he turned to me and said your wife is one of those that does not stop talking right? She drove off! He lost two customers and he was lucky she did not run him over with the jeep. Avoid this location has gone down. Shame they used to be good.

I used to absolutely love this place. But unfortunately their customer service has gone downhill since my last visit. I had gotten a patch done on a flat tire and the very next day the tire was flat again. I got it patched at 530p and it was flat at 3a when I went to go to work. I only drove the vehicle 3 mins home from the shop the prior day. I brought my vehicle back and they fixed it no problem, cool. The service tech came up gave me my keys and said I was good to go. I even asked if I needed to be checked out or anything like that and he said no youre good to go. 20 minutes after driving my vehicle my light came on to check my tire pressure. When I called back later I spoke to Jose the manager of the store. He was extremely rude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain to him the situation with my tire the past two days. I did make a point to tell him I didnt appreciate the way he was speaking to me and how he was coming off very rude and I wasnt able to even get a word in. He then proceeded to tell me to just bring the vehicle in and we can discuss this later. He also made a point to tell me that I left without paying earlier, I tried to explain to him the technician told me I was good to go and there was nothing further needed but he still cut me off and wouldnt let me speak. I assumed that since I was there less the 24 hours prior that they may have missed something, fixed it and I didnt need to be charged, I would have been happy to pay had I been told the proper information when I was there. This is such a downgrade in service compared to 2 months ago when I had the wonderful experience working with Matt. Matt was extremely helpful, very thorough, answered all of my questions, and maybe feel like a valued customer. Which is what anyone working in customer service should do. This time around working with Jose, the new manager, he was extremely disrespectful, rude, seemed annoyed and cuts people off. Due to this negative experience I will not be using their services any further nor recommending them to anybody else.

The decline in customer service from what used to be excellent is disappointing...Having been a regular customer for oil changes and brake services here. I recently found out there is a discount oil change service offered through CarAdvise. I made an appointment through CarAdvise and arrived at the shop with confirmation. However, the front desk employee seemed annoyed when I mentioned the discount rate, claiming he had never heard of it despite working there for years. I understand it might be a new thing for them and can be confusing, it would be appreciated if he can help figure this out together. He then called the manager and the manager confirmed the partnership, however, his attitude remained unhelpful and rude. He look annoyed and said it is a headache to assist me, making me feel it was my fault. I did him a favor and left so he didnt have to deal with all those headaches.

Herm was amazing today! He was informative, knowledgeable and efficient. He helped me with purchasing 4 new tires and a flat. Herm was pleasant and friendly to work with. Any negative remarks don’t fit to the Herm that helped me.

Dave was a great help! I ordered some tires on Amazon and Dave was nice enough to let me come in a few days before my appointment just for my convenience! He was also able to get me an alignment appointment ASAP when I inquired about the service. Thank you!
