Usually this place is great. Lately though its gone downhill. Ordered a jumbo roast beef no oil extra onions and it came with almost no onions and soping wet with oil. I wish I could say it is the help but the last fee times its been the owner skimping on the meat and trying to get extra anything is like pulling teeth. You have to stand there and watch her male tge sandwich otherwise shes just does what she wants. Its way better when the hired help makes them. Im disappointed, since Ive been coming to this shop for 45 years, to see $14 bucks on a sandwhich that isnt what I ordered.

When Im feeling like a sandwich Tinys is where I go. This family operated eatery never disappoints when it comes to friendliness, price, and especially quality. If the Santa Clarita Valley is your home you should be investing in it an supporting our local business.

March 15, 2023 - On the road again. We were wanting sandwiches before getting into Arizona so we stopped by Tinys - it was quickly made and we consumed it as fast.I ordered a 2 meat, 1 cheese sandwich.

This is my new go to mom & pop sandwich spot. The 2 girls working literally made my sandwich so fast! They were very good, packed with a lot of meat and veggies in a fresh roll.

Was excited to try a new sandwich shop, especially a mom and pop in our community. Unfortunately it was the opposite of what I expected. I ordered the tuna, no onions, added mustard and pickles. Bread was not fresh, onions added and no mustard or pickles were added. Tuna was flavorless and sandwich overall was dry. Staff was OK, not very friendly.

Went for the first time and order was taken by not so friendly older woman. She was very annoyed that I needed to actually look at the menu since I had never been there. She then handed the order over to another older woman who proceeded to make our sandwiches without gloves on. Seriously? Basic food prep hygiene is you wear gloves when preparing food. This was so gross. I was so mortified that I actually did not say anything but paid for my order and could barely eat it. I also ordered an iced tea and was told rudely I could only have one refill. I really should report to health department as this was disgusting. Even before Covid food preps wore gloves. Total lack of caring or responsibility. I can only imagine what other health codes they must break if they are blatantly doing this where customers can see without a care in the world. For these reasons I will never return here nor will I recommend this place to even my dog!

Very Disappointed...Used to be good...The Bread was old and not fresh ...No gloves are used in making the sandwich...The workers not the owners are very rude. And prices keep going up not to mention they skimp on the meat which by the way is not the quality it once was...

Ordered a jumbo roast beef on wheat roll.. was shocked that they did not use gloves even making sandwich. Did not even wash hands prior to making. Used to be my place to go by subs but will not return after what i witnessed yesterday . So unsanitary since Covid is rampid now.. sorry but I expected more and can’t return there… I realize food workers are not required to wear gloves but there is NO excuse to wash hands in front of the customer!

When in for the 1st time ordered to Cold cut sandwich. It was amazing!! Everything was fresh from the meat to the bread and it was delicious. Customer service was fantastic and they made the sandwich really quick. Will be in again to try the other sandwiches.

My mom had been taking me to Tinys since I was in middle school or so and now I take my kids there. The sandwiches are better than any sandwich chain you can think of and the soft serve and shakes are the best! The staff is awesome too. Keep this family run business in your family as we have in ours!

I love Tinys and have been eating here for over a year. I just went in to pick up some hoagies and there were 5 customers in there. No one was wearing a mask. Everyone was standing next to each other. Someone ask the manager and she said it wasn’t necessary. I disagree.

This is the best submarine sandwich place ever I have been going there since I was a kid (just a few days) ok i lied! Im now 55! It has only had 2 owners and lost nothing in the transfer not the product or the service it is in the Santa Clarita Valley if you are ever near there give it a try soon you will find yourself making reasons to visit!

Very filling, go with the jumbo if you are really hungry. Good prices for how fresh the food is. Good customer service people working there are always attentive. Bread was chew made it hard to swallow lard bites.

Oh my God I am so glad you are still there. It’s like yesterday when I was going to Sierra Vista junior high school and my mom let me take a sick day. There I was playing Pac-Man waiting for my mothers and my pastrami sub’sI hear this voice you’re pretty good at that I was like thank you .He’s like aren’t you supposed to be in school . I turned around and there was Mr. Blankenship the dean. When I was13 years old, Tinys submarines was just starting out. I remeber watching them build the counters inside the shop.I was so excited to see the soft serve machine being put in and I couldnt wait until they opened the shop.....36 years ago today I can still say that they had the best soft serve ever!!!!Now Tinys has moved to the corner store where my parents record stor (Great American Records) once was many years ago. Although I have not been into Tinys is several years, I do remember the awsome family/owners who were once apart of my life. They gave impecable customer service back then and Im sure the same goes for now!And as I recalled, they treated the kids and teenagers with the utmost respect,(Because the kids had mommy and daddys money) LOL!!! and as to the comment about their sandwhiches...YOUR RIGHT other submarine shops have NOTHING on Tinys!!!.....So with all that said...KUDOS TO YOU TINYS SUBMARINES FOR STILL BEING IN BUSINESSAFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!!YOU ROCK!!!!

Holy Moly! If you havent had Tinys, then you are missing out. Yes JM and FH are awesome but Tinys is different and definitely home grown flavor. Small mom and pop shop and these are usually better than anything main stream. People are personable and still calculate tax and total by math, not a calculator or computer. Please stop by and support small businesses!!!!
