Tina Chen is a total rockstar.So glad she orchestrated and implemented the preparation and sale of my house.Tina understands the East Bay property market and understands the tastes and motivations of buyers and different price points. Based on an initial assessment of the house, she presented a vision of where the house needed to be to realize its full potential. And along with that, a plan on how to get there. Since I was out of state, she organized and coordinated everything.Tina has a ton of intelligence, energy, contacts, and good taste. She doesn’t stop until the job is done. She never lets a task be forgotten. Ties up all lose ends. And is a fantastic negotiator. The best decision I have made in a long time was to put my trust in her completely.I recommend her wholeheartedly. Her results speak for themselves.

Tina’s title of Top Producer is well deserved!!! She recently helped me with the sale of my home- helped me is an understatement. She did everything from dealing with my stuff, home improvements and staging as well as walking me through the final contract. Through all this, I have been 3000 miles away. Tina made the process unbelievably easy, being available even with the east coast/west coast time difference. Shes been advising me for years on when to sell. Tina was absolutely brilliant in helping us purchase our first home. We were looking at houses in various locations in the East Bay and Tina accompanied us for multiple open houses, freeing up her schedule every weekend to help us. She remained patient as we continued to figure out our preferences and helped keep us grounded as she guided us towards finding our perfect home. Tina Chen helped me buy a condo and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She spent time getting to know me and really listened to what I wanted. She has a deep knowledge of the local market and has connections with local agents. She arranged for me to see units before open houses and, once, even before the property was listed. Instead of just passing along lists of computer-generated listings, many of which would not come close to meeting my requirements, Tina only sent me listings that had potential based on our conversations and my reactions to previous listings. As a result, I found a condo that suits me perfectly with a minimum of time and effort. In addition, Tina is just fun to work with. Bottom line, call Tina Chen if you want a real professional who takes the time to figure out what you are really looking for and doesnt waste your time.

I started working with Tina a few months before the pandemic and finally closed on my house recently. Throughout this entire process, Tina was so patient, generous with her time and give excellent advise.Since there were no open houses during the pandemic, Tina had to quickly scheduled tours and personally show me the houses. She would always give me her honest expert opinion of each house. When I was interested in the purchase, she did her research, communicated with the listing agents and then helped me construct bids.Its a tough market, especially for first time buyers on a budget. I missed narrowly on my first two bids, and then again on a third, but she kept my spirits up. We must of seen over 150 houses (which sounds crazy, but we saw on average two homes a week over a year and a half, and in some weeks six or seven!). Tina was both a great coach and a cheerleader throughout this crazy process, and Im so grateful to have finally bought my dream home. I was very particular in what I was looking for and Tina has the patience of a saint! I say this with all sincerity, I could not have dealt with me and what I was looking for.If you are lucky enough to work with Tina, I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Tina!

Tina was an excellent guide for our first home buying process. She is extremely responsive, available, clear, and a great communicator. She moved fast when we needed her to - we ended up putting in an offer on the very first home we saw and she helped us to get lending support, turn it around quickly, and make the offer within just 3 days. She had excellent insight about how much to bid and helped us to be successful right away - we went from starting to look for a home to being home owners in just over a month!

We bought a house with Tina in Berkeley and we had a great experience. We were looking for houses in SF And East Bay and Tina joined us for more than fifty open houses, freeing up her schedule every weekend for more than a month. Tina did a lot of research on houses and quickly understood the type we wanted and found many more such houses. Tina is very responsive via text and email. Tina is also a master negotiator and will help get you a better price than you expect. Tina was also very helpful throughout the closing process and continues to help us with renovations, with her ideas for remodeling which would improve resale value and contacts for various services which fit our budget. We would highly recommend Tina to anybody buying a house in the Bay Area.

Tina Chen of Golden Gate Southerby’s recently worked with me and my family to secure our new, and forever home. Shopping for a new home can be a very stressful process but was easy and fun because of Tina. Tina is on top of it. We would send her a listing and she would immediately book a visit (pretty important during COVID house hunting as appointments were limited). She was prompt in getting all paperwork necessary to entering the property to us via Docusign and was always on time to our appointments. After looking at houses every weekend for a month together Tina is no longer our agent, she is our friend! She is so fun to shop with. She tells you what she thinks without holding back but she also listens to your point of view. Her insights are hilarious and she really had our family in mind while we shopped. Sometimes things would get overwhelming and decision making would become difficult but Tina was there to advise. I don’t know how many times during this process I found myself unsure about something then after hearing what Tina had to say I would simply respond, “yup, that sounds about right.” Tina works so hard for her clients as well. If I texted her on Sunday night she would respond. She also knows how to talk to people. When we found the market to be more competitive than we expected and had to discuss our options, Tina was able to talk us through raising our budget a little bit to get what we wanted. Buying a house is hard because it requires hustle, decisiveness, an eye for detail, and a good understanding of people. Tina excels in all of these fields. We were so lucky to have her as an agent and while we hope that we won’t need her services again any time soon, Tina will always be welcome in our new home as a beloved guest.

Tina is an amazing realtor. She is very knowledgeable of the Bay Area and she has many connections and networks with multiple people as far as contractors and lenders. When we decided to put our house up on the market, she assured us we would be able to sell it, but was firm with us about what we needed to do. She always spent time with us to create timelines and make quick decisions to ensure that the process would go as smoothly as possible. She never made us feel that we were a burden when we had questions and always spent the time to explain to us what was happening each step of the way. We even joked and called her Mama Tina because she would nag us to make sure we followed through with our projects in accordance to the timeline. Even though we didnt want to hear it, she did what we needed to get it done. At the end of the day, we were able to sell our house for well over the listing price and Tina helped us to do that. The only way I can truly explain how wonderful Tina is is to tell you the story of how Tina helped my partner and I buy a house during the pandemic.Its our first week of house hunting. We had just met Tina on Sunday. We didnt even have a pre-qual for a mortgage. Monday evening, we saw a listing for an house that looked wonderful on paper. We asked Tina if she could set up a visit. She said that offers were due on that house the following afternoon. At around 9:00 pm, we asked if there was any way we could see the house first thing Tuesday morning. Tina was able to set up a visit for 9:00 am the following morning. We saw the house and fell in love with it. Tina connected us with the right people so that we were able to get the pre-qual mortgage in record time. She helped us craft a competitive offer. We submitted the offer that afternoon, and the offer was accepted that evening. (The attached picture is my partner with Tina at our new home!)We love our house, and I dont see how we could have acquired it without Tina. She got us that appointment in record time. Tina was very patient with us when we were looking to buy our first house. We met her at one of her listings about 5 months before purchasing a house. She was super responsive and on top of things throughout the 5 months even though we didnt narrow in on something we loved for the fist 3.5 of those months. As soon as we met them, we liked that they took over the process right away. They assessed our needs as clients, and the needs of the home being sold. They lined up inspectors, painters, cleaners and stagers; and developed a pricing strategy. They kept us advised us as to what was happening at each step along the way. Their personalities were low key and customer focused. We never felt pressured. They also provided Mandarin translations for one of the family members, which greatly helped the transition.Their high energy and efficiency brought the home to market quickly, and the home turned out magnificently.
