Very nice place, fish are healthy, they have other small animals too. Liked that they encourage the excitement my little kids have to pick a new fish unlike other places. Very welcoming and greeted every customer.

This is one of my favorite fish places to go in Lakewood. Family owned. Everyone is really helpful and nice. Their fish tags are always clean. I really like buying my fish food from here. I would recommend you visit this fish store If you get a chance. Affordable prices. There is parking in the back. If youre lucky youll get from parking. Easy access to the entrance. Really love coming here with my dog. They have live plants.

Too hot inside. Not clean. The reptiles were neglected and in a dark corner. But the owners were super nice and friendly. We got two beta male fishes and two small tanks for a great deal. All for less than $30 total.

This is 100% and with all honesty the best store ever for any fish needs and they also have some types of reptiles, scorpions and tarantulas. I’ve given them fish that I wasn’t able to care for anymore and some that just outgrew my tank and they are more then happy to help wether it’s with that or with any questions that I have. I’ve been in this hobby for about 2 years now and I always want to go into fish stores (as we all do) and a lot of the owner or workers are very helpful but with Tiki’s they just go above and beyond and they’re soooo knowledgeable on both fresh and salt water. I know I know it sounds like I have a deal with them but honestly I didn’t I just really love this store and the owners and workers they’ve helped me understand why things either work or don’t and I love coming here!!

The smell is unbearable. The bird section fills the store with a horrible smell. It will make you hold your breath the entire time you are in here. The prices are average to what you would find in any other fish store. Their selection of fish is decent, but some dont look all that healthy. I would not recommend this place.

Fish are kept in poor conditions here. Dirty tanks, small enviroments and multiple deformed fish. Tanks are so overcrowded we saw a fish with a chunk missing out of it floating at the top half alive. Store associates are helpful however that doesnt compensate for the lack of care for the creatures they should be knowledge in care for.

I used to come here pretty often for a couple years now. The young man who served me is really chill and friendly, so its quite difficult writing this review. He gets a 5 star for his service... I never had a problem with the fish until my recent purchase. I should have checked out the fish first in the bag before i purchased them. When i got home one corydora was already dead and i noticed that 2 other ones had a red blotch. Those other ones didnt make it either. Made sense, cus the man pulled out a dead one from their tank. That was a red flag. Should have analyzed the fish. I blame myself. Sad that they have bad quality water for those corydoras to develop red blotch. Fortunately, one is still healthy and alive. As for now, i am going to search for another store to shop.

Has so much potential, but I honestly cant recommend this store. It reeks because of their mice and birds (which doesnt make it any more acceptable, they just need clean more often or keep less at a time). Most of the animals are kept in poor condition ( REALLY dirty cages and too many dead fish to forgive). They do have fancy rats though, which I find are a somewhat rare pet to get locally. (They also have other exotic animals such as scorpions and tarantulas, which is kinda cool). I wish I could like this place cuz of their selection, but unless they start cleaning up the place and start being more proactive on caring for their animals instead of solely selling them, I wont return nor will I reccomend this place to anyone.

Came across this place when I was looking for somewhere to take my Chinese Algea Eater. Poor baby got way too big for my small fish tank. With no questions asked, they took him and found him a place to stay in one of their tanks. The variety of fish they have is incredible. From fresh water to salt water..... wall to wall. I will NEVER go to any other place to get fish or supplies. Love the guys there. They are knowledgable and very nice.

This shop is hands down one of the best pet stores I have ever been to. Amazing selection of healthy animals, nearly everything you need to care for them, and to top it off, fantastic prices. Some of the husbandry techniques they use for the reptiles/invertebrates are a little outdated, but I have yet to see an unhealthy animal in the shop because of it. The owners make great recommendations to customers, giving accurate advice on how to care for their fish and other pets, as well as what sort of habitats, temperaments, and requirements are needed for the animals being sold. They also have a wide array of pet supplies, many of which are less than half the price youd find at a Petco or PetSmart. Their live food is always fresh and healthy too, my leopard gecko and frogs have definitely benefitted from eating bugs purchased here. This store has been around for years, and for good reason too. Needless to say, Tikis Tropical Fish has earned a lifelong customer. I hope other people will give this small local store the chance it deserves and come here instead of going to another big chain store.

Great Service! Was helped by Kevin who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the fish they had and even ones they didnt have. Ended up adopting a poor little Red Tail Catfish(Wonder) who had lost both eyes to a bully tankmate. Also picked up a few juvi silver aros, a fire eel, a few oscars, and a couple dovii. Will definately be coming back for more. Keep up the good work!

We finally found a local place that sells roaches and superworms for our bearded dragon. Theyre good quality and very affordable unlike the stuff you buy from chain petstores like Petco and PetSmart that sell you dead and/or dirty insects. Bought 2 picktis cats...last week...they have many choices, inhouse...i found they carry many varieties, like in the cold water & some nice tropical fish also...(a tropical fish requires warmer-water-there is a difference...keep this in mind for any newby fish lovers) Its all here, and are in house, i think i saw some saltwater reef supplies...to suit the major aquarium investments & needs. Tikis caters knowledge with a lot of supplies for the most spoiled aquatic customers...My aquarium has 4 blood parrots, (tropical/warm water fish) the best fish ever, and so bottomline is:Fact: you cant buy a glass aquarium at wal-mart, nor can you find any 2 slat glass tops at wal-mart either...☆☆***☆☆They gotem at Tikis !!!☆☆***☆☆

Felt bad for every animal in this store. Livestock was poorly taken care of and was told on the phone after making the 30 min drive they had what I was looking for and when I got there they had no idea what I was talking about.
