Maxwell Thurman Group got us a house! Maxwell & Mackenzie were absolute rock stars.We were connected to Maxwell via Zillow. He conducted an introductory viewing of a few condos with us following with a in depth consulting session that lasted about 2 hours with A TON of information. While it was a bit overwhelming at first, as time went on and we began to view homes the information discussed during the consulting session began to make sense. During the searching, offering, escrow and closing process we were always kept in the loop at all times.Maxwell and Mackenzie are great communicators were always available for us when we needed them.At first my fiancé were hesitant to sign with Maxwell due to his looking young. However, after our consulting session, it was clear to me and my fiancé that he was knowledgable, driven, and most importantly honest and passionate about helping people find the right home for their current situation.Maxwell helped us so much by pointing out flaws, home needs, remodel suggestions, positives and negatives of homes, etc. with each walk in we did. Over the span of a year we probably viewed about 30 homes. By the time we found the home we closed on, we felt so comfortable with Max and Mackenzie that we developed a solid friendship.These guys are young, determined and hungry to help you purchase a home (no matter what your circumstance or budget). If you’re looking for hustlers that go above and beyond for their clients, Max and Mackenzie are the ones you want to work with! They made our home look amazing before putting it on the market with cleaning, staging, and great photos (bonus : they paid for all of this themselves). They had great marketing strategies and sold our home with ease while exceeding expectations. Working with Max and Mackenzie was a night and day difference to our previous experiences with realtors. Maxwell and Mackenzie are top tier. They started with a very informative crash course on buying a home. Eight (or more) long months later, we finally found a gem! They were patient, responsive, and made sure I had taken other steps (ie lender) to make sure I was ready to jump on an opportunity when it came. Most importantly, they were honest and genuine. They werent trying to shove any property in our face just for a paycheck and they gave honest opinions on the properties we saw. This review has taken me some time to finally write because we have been very busy moving into our new home in Tucson, Arizona. I have to say that a big part of making this move possible was the work of Max Thurman and his tremendously talented team of professionals. Max and his team came through in every way possible from the help with storing our possessions, to helping clean and repair and stage our condo for showing. As first time homebuyers navigating this difficult market we were so appreciative to have the guidance and expertise of Max and Mackenzie. From the buyer consultation all the way to closing escrow and obtaining keys they were nothing short of amazing when it came to solid communication. I’ma keep it real on this review. I put a lot of trust in Maxwell and Mackenzie with the sale of my home. Never once did they take advantage of any situation and at all times they had my best interest in mind. They exceeded the expectations they set and always went above in beyond when I needed them the most. They were always there for a phone call and never lead me a stray. Max and his team helped sell my condo in Fullerton. Within the first weekend, I received 10 offers and ended up selling the condo for $18k & $20k more than the other competing 1 bedroom models that were on the market at the same time in my complex. Within 2 weeks, Max and his team had our place cleaned, decluttered, staged, and marketed. The condo looked amazing and I believe that’s a big reason we got the results we did. Mind you, this was all done out of Max’s pocket!Max also has great knowledge of the market. At the time we met, interest rates were about to exceed 7%. He went into detail how that affects buyer’s behaviors and affordability and explained a pricing strategy that would translate into more serious buyers. We went with his advice and it payed off.Max is very communicative and was very involved in the entire process. Everything went accordingly and the entire process was easier than what I had expected. If you’re looking for an engaged and knowledgeable agent, Max and his team should be your go to Realtors! I would recommend them 10/10 and will refer them when the opportunity presents itself.

For anyone looking for a realtor who actually brings something to the table, THIS IS YOUR GUY! We’ve been working with Max over the last 3 years in search of the right home and during this period, he’s provided so much insight and has had great advice.Once we got a little closer to looking in earnest for our home, we sat down for a consultation that was extremely helpful in understanding the home buying process. What we learned in that consultation, we applied in our offer and it ended up helping us get our offer accepted for $80k less then what the home was listed for.During the escrow process, Max always picked up his phone and had answers to any (and all) of our questions. He had detailed emails throughout the escrow period that did a great job explaining everything we had to do and made the tasks and due diligences digestible. He also went above and beyond and created a Seller credit justification on our behalf which ended up helping us pay for almost all of our closing costs!The entire buying process almost seemed too easy and that was all because of Max and his team. I connected to the Thurman Group (specifically Max and Mackenzie) through Zillow. We were so glad to have found them because from the start they took the time to sit with us. We talked about what we wanted from our home search and all our questions were answered.They were patient and responsive as we searched and narrowed our preferences and location. I am truly grateful that we were able to have Max as our realtor to buy our first home. At our buyer consultation meeting, Max laid out the whole process. He did not sugar-coat the reality of the market and the definite struggles of the home buying process. He was very transparent and made sure that we understood every aspect of the process as much as he did. One of the first things Max had mentioned to us is that he was very result driven. At the time we met with Max, we had been actively putting offers in with other agents for 2 months with no luck. After the 1st weekend of looking through homes together with Max, he was able to get our offer accepted on a very competitive property. Selling a home can be stressful!! Max is amazing! You need this guy on your team when it’s comes time to sell your home... or buy one! Max goes above and beyond what I think any of us would expect from your average realtor. Max and his team were absolute pleasures to work with. When we initially met with Max about listing our home back in June, he was very knowledgeable about the shifting market and moved quickly to get our home ready for prospective buyers. Within two weeks, him and his team cleaned, decluttered, painted, fixed, staged, and marketed our home to perfection. What would of taken us 6 months to do, they accomplished within 2 weeks and once his team was done, the home looked UNBELIEVABLE. His vision, sense of urgency, and ability to transform our home was invaluable and played a massive part in our success of the sale.With his amazing team in mind, there were two things that really stood out to me while working with Max through the sale of our home.1st, we didn’t receive an offer within the first 10 days. Instead of receiving the predictable “price reduction” spiel most agents give, Max advised we stick with our initial listing price due to the consistent amount of showings and interest. Sure enough, on the 12th day, we received TWO great offers with one being a full price offer with favorable terms.2nd, the agent representing the buyer had literally gone MIA after the 3rd day of accepting their offer. When I say MIA, I mean it! The agent did not return phones calls, text messages, or emails for 10 straight days! During those 10 days, my husband and I were incredibly stressed with the uncertainty of the sale looming. Max during this time laid out plan B and C in the case things were to go awry and kept a competing offer engaged and at bay. Max also answered all our questions during this time while we were freaking out and was always there to provide best case and worst case scenarios. Luckily, the other agent had just been on vacation and had no access to their phone or laptop and everything worked out as planned.Throughout the entire transaction, Max was very involved, always picked up the phone and even referred us to an amazing agent that we relocated to. Max is a fantastic realtor. He sold our house in June 2021 and we are so happy. There are several aspects in determining a great realtor. Of course, you want the best possible price for your house. And Max got that for us. But there are other areas that can’t be quantified, for example, helping to move furniture and boxes. Max and a friend cleared out our college kids’ rooms so the stager could do her magic. My husband and I are unable to move heavy objects, so Max took it upon himself to do the work. We were so surprised of that level of service. A great realtor also needs to be aware if his client is getting stressed, and then say the rights things to calm them down. Our air conditioner decided to stop working during a heat wave and we couldn’t find a reliable A/C guy. We called Max and he told us he would send a repairman the next day and said, “It will be taken care of. It will be alright.” And it was.Now for you numbers people, here are some great numbers:· $130,000 - the amount offered OVER the list price (which was a great number to begin with)· 45 – the number of days Max negotiated for free rent back· 30 – the number of days in escrow· 14 – the number of days from when we first interviewed Max to the day the house was on the MLS· Priceless – our gratitude to Max for helping us make this next step in our lives so easy (and so profitable!)

Where to start? I bought a condo 2021 for $x.1 year later it sold for $x plus $120k. The market had a lot to do with it, but Max closed the deal for $52k above my asking price.His grasp of the business far exceeds his tender years.I am unrelated to him.
