I have now purchased 3 brand new motorcycles in my life. This is the second one from Thousand Oaks Powersports. I went out of my way to purchase a Yamaha Tenere 700 from them, specifically Brandon. Previous service was always on time and appointments were made without issue. I called for service twice over the past few weeks. Both calls were very pleasant, and I was told I would receive a call back to set up the 12000-mile MT09 service. Im now at 12600 miles and still no appointment callback. Need to work on organizing customer callbacks.

Over the past few years Louis and Mark have been salespeople - they have made the sales experience so easy and quick!We have 6 riders in our family.. male/female, short & tall, beginners to experienced riders, Louis and Mark LISTENED to what we needed, found motorcycles that met our criteria, communicated with us (in a no pressure way). I was in the market for hyper naked. I was able to get a hold of Christian in sales via phone text. I was inHawaii at the time but he was very fast and reliable responding via text. I finally had a chance to see the shop in person and it had very good vibes. The shop is small but is very well stocked. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Never had a feeling of being pressured into a purchase. Ike the sales manager met my requests. Mark in finance and Blake in parts were very helpful and knowledgeable in sealing the deal with the KTM Super Duke. Hosanna in service was nice. Found out Mike was the general manager but was always down-to-earth. I would recommend this place and I will be coming back for future purchases! Thanks team TO power sports!

After going to a few dealerships I end up choosing Thousand Oaks power sports The Professionalism, knowledge, and the warm accomodation is what got me to give my business to them. Luis my salesman is so nice answering all my questions regarding the bike that I chose. And the finance gentleman named Mark is just so good that he got me out of there in 15 minutes time … No hassle and try to sell me other things. Not to mention that he got out of his way to find my glasses that I drop on the street. Everyone was so nice and friendly at Thousand Oaks PowerSports! They made the entire purchasing experience so easy. We interacted with folks in almost all the areas there…sales, finance, service, the retail area, even the delivery guys who brought the bike over from the warehouse…they were all great. Luis was our main contact and he took good care of us…I would recommend asking for him if you are looking to buy a bike. We were waiting for months for a new Triumph that was just being released in the U. S., and Luis kept on top of it for us even thru all our pestering of “where is the bike? Great experience with this dealer!Great people in general, but Paul from sales and Jason from Service who helped me out are the best.Paul sold me a t120 bonneville to me with the best deal I could get in the states, he even took great care of my bike during my first service as well as Jason.They even discounted a great amount on a helmet too to match the price from other place.The prices on service is very similar or compatible with other dealers but considering their nice and kind services, I would choose here rather than a closer dealership from my place in LA.They really care about customer service and satisfaction. I will definitely go back for the future services!

Last week I bought a KLX 110 from this dealer. My salesperson Brandon was hands down awesome. He was explanatory, attentive and timely throughout the whole process. Went in the other day with my niece looking to buy a new quad for her Christmas gift and walked away with one for myself as well with all new gear. Erick and Jim on the sales floor went above and beyond helping us and making sure we were happy and out of there with what we wanted. I found a bike they had available on Cycle Trader, and the price was right. I called them immediately, and Rex who was very knowledgeable helped me with securing the bike with a deposit. I am an out of town buyer, so he held it for me and answered all my questions until I was able to make it to the dealer a few days later. When I arrived, everyone was very friendly and treated me not just like a customer, but a fellow rider. Having bought many new bikes at different dealerships, this was the most refreshing part! I got to meet the sales manager -- George, who was very accommodating with me. You can tell he valued my business, and understood I drove a longs ways to get this bike! Mary in finance got my paperwork done quickly! She did not push any up-sells, and was just a genuinely great person to work with. On top off all the great service, Becca in parts was equally amazing and friendly. During my visit, I got a chance to look at the rest of the inventory, and their prices were pretty good--much better than SF Bay Area dealers. I will be back to buy another bike. Great shop!

Friendly service, quick turn around. I’m happy getting my bike serviced there!Edited because of my last visit.They got a new service manager and I was not happy with my last (and I mean last because I switched to Simi Valley Cycles after) service. I had them do the slight repairs on my bike after an accident. I bought a few items extra to put on while my bike was repaired. They called me to pick up the bike as they were closing (mind you this is a week later than what he told me it would be done) so when I showed up I was excited to get my bike back. When I got home to do a better inspection I noticed a few things wrong. They forgot to place screws in a few places (engine badge and engine guards) but more than that they forgot to put the crash bars I bought from them but charged me the labor. When I called them about it, the Service Manager told me hed add them when they got the missing screws. I brought it back 2 weeks later when they got the missing screws and to put the bars on they forgot to attach and the Service Manager still charged me labor AGAIN for the screws and bars they forgot to put on the first timek. When I asked the Service Manager why he was charging me when he charged me last time, his response well I gotta pay my guys.You charged me twice for labor. So never again will I take my bike there to get serviced. Friendly and informed staff, but the new Service Manager rubbed me the wrong way and lost my business going forward.

Just bought a Triumph Bobber Black from Matt B.Because I am in healthcare, which is essentially a customer service industry, I am the first to admit that I am a royal pain when it comes to demanding great customer service.Matt has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service...he has even returned my texts and emails on his days off.He has been candid and honest with his professional opinions regarding what I really need, not just for the bike but for all the accessories from clothing to airbag vests.The dealership is an hour away from my home and there are quite a few shops there are a lot closer but it has been worth it to travel the two hours round-trip for his level of customer service.I’ve also received excellent customer service from their parts department as well.Cheers and safe riding out there!DocMikeChiro

Long Winded, No Rant Review of Thousand Oaks Powersports (TOPS)Backstory, I had been to (wont mention names) a few other local dealers in search of a good new/used bike. Bad Experience at these other places.I FINALLY took the advice of my buddy and my MSF instructors to check out TOPS website, I noted their large inventory with a wide range of bikes both new and used. Low and behold, a nice 2008 Vulcan turns up on their lot and Christian was the first to reply to my inquiry. Despite no promise of a sale, he handled me and all of my questions promptly and I said I would come in and check it out after my work trip. Not to my surprise, that Vulcan was sold by the weekend and I was back to square one.By now I had gone through their catalogue a few times, and was starting to warm up to the idea of coming out of the gate with a new bike, so when I saw a heavily discounted leftover 2020 Bonnevile I went in the next day they opened, no appointment, no phone call. My buddy and I were immediately greeted and walked through their very clean and well stocked show room to their Triumph lineup. Christian let me see the bikes, answered my questions, got me OTD prices.. all of it.After sleeping it off, and a trip to the bank, I called him up and said I would be there in the morning. He processed all of my paperwork the day before so I could just walk in, sign, pay, leave.. and leave I did, with a brand new Bonnie that he helped me load into the back of a truck and tie down after introducing me to the parts and service department. Worth noting, is the sizeable amount of space available to load/unload vehicles and trailers.Their parts/gear department was well stocked and organized and clean. They can even order just about anything for you as well.I will definitely update this review when I take in the bike for its break-in service for a review on the service center, conveniently located right out back.Bottom Line, I got a good deal and warranty on my purchase and the process was stress free and easy. THE STAFF made this worthy of a 5 star review.Ride Safe

Alex, Eddie, Jordan, Brian & crew are top notch in customer service and their product knowledge is impeccable.I recently purchased my brand new Aprilia Tuono Factory 1100 V4 from them and it was the smoothest purchase that I have ever made in my lifetime on two wheels. From the moment that I was greeted at the door up until the moment that I had the ignition key in my hand it only took 1.4 hours. I cant say enough about this dealership, everyone was awesome throughout the whole process of my purchase of my first Dual Sport KLX 300. What an awesome machine! As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by Nick the General Sales Manager and he made me feel welcome and showed me around the showroom floor and the introduced me to Luis in Sales who I was in contact with when I first went on their website. Luis was very helpful and answered all of my questions and we were able to work out a great deal on my first bike. After that he sent me over to Troy in parts and he helped me pick out all of the gear that I needed for my first ride. Troy was awesome and was a big help. I then met Ricky the Service Manager he will be adjusting the suspension on my new bike for me since I am only 59. After the deal was made I then met Mark the Finance Manager and he explained everything about the warranty of the bike and the financing. He explained everything in a clear manner so I understood everything about my purchase. All in all the whole process from beginning to when I walked out the door with my awesome KLX 300. I couldnt be any happier and I highly recommend Thousand Oaks Powersports for your street or off road vehicle. 5 Star Experience all around!

I spend a couple grand on an extended warranty and was told that I would basically be able to get a brand new bike anytime before the warranty ended. Turns out nothing is covered under the warranty and even the things that are listed arent covered the way the paperwork made it sound. Salesmen are liars and the owner is no better. After I brought up how I felt scammed, the owner apologized and said that the first round of service would be discounted. It wasnt. Some people I know left a lot of the new stuff is good but not everybody. Vespa service is subpar. Asked for a list of services performed and to save replaced parts for inspection. Instead, was given a generic work order declaring level 1 scooter service. No safety checks, no replaced parts and a near doubling of the work estimate.Service manager (Mike) complained how elite bike owners want more than the off-road bike owners do and its not a good fit for this shop. The employee that took my initial work order was fired; the mechanic that performed the work was fired as well.Department of Consumer Affairs, concerned on the lack of details of work order and work performed. The department has very limited powers over these dealerships.Good luck with this service department and management.Currently looking for a local qualified vespa mechanic.

Bought new spokes I needed for a riding trip same weekend. Parts came in on Thursday. Brought my wheel in when I came to pick it up on the off chance they could do it, I didn’t have time myself Friday morning. They said they could, and took the wheel and parts. Called at 4 to see if it was done. Told it was next on the techs list. At 5:27 I was called and told they didn’t have time today, but would be done tomorrow. Said I needed tonight to leave on trip. I picked it back up and they apologized. Went inside to the parts counter to buy spoons and a tube. The parts guy who walked me to service in the morning was there and when I explained what happened he was apologetic and said he would talk to the service manger. Parts didn’t have a valve stem puller or lube, so I went to Cycle Gear. As I was getting the tools TO Power Sports called and said they have a tech staying to change it out if I could bring it back. While this should’ve been done in the first place, in the end it’s what happened. Not ideal, but they certainly took care of me in the end. And I can still hit the road tonight. Much appreciated.

They told us they will give us the extended warranty for free but they didnt! They kept it on the contract and charged us for things we never asked. I had a great buying experience when I bought my new R1, everyone was very friendly and there were no harsh negotiation tactics, we easily settled on a price that was fair for both of us.When I brought the bike in to have the initial break in service done, the service manager went through everything they were going to do to the bike. I was in a pinch and needed to get the service done before my track day that weekend. They were able to squeeze the bike in and were happy they were able to get it done for me so I could go to the track.The only issue I had was after they cleaned and lubed the chain it looked like they dumped a whole 5 gallon bucket of lube on the chain and I spent the next few times riding it cleaning a ridiculous amount of chain lube off of every part of the rear of the bike.

I had taken my 21 Klx230 in for service in April, it was there for six weeks due to warranty work for speedometer issue. Most of that time was waiting on a replacement wire harness which did not have a eta.The service department did a temporary repair to get the speedometer operational.Two weeks later the wire harness arrived and I took my motorcycle back in on Friday and didnt expect it to be done quickly however to my surprise they had called and texted me that the wire harness was done and that it wouldnt start and that they would need to contact Kawasaki corporate and get advice to proceed.Before I could finish my breakfast I received a call from the mechanic and he said my bike was ready to go. I asked about the no start issues and he stated it was a Diode issue. Which was corrected.So it was really quick once they had the wire harness. One day. The honest evaluation of my experience with t.o. powersport is when I took it in the first time I had asked them to order and replace the rear turn signals and shifter lever and fairing which was never ordered in the six week time. So this time I had ordered the parts at the beginning of last week and the parts that I ordered arrived with the exception of two that were on back order that I had spares of that I dropped off.The initial Labor quote was quite high for the tasks. So I had called and stated to just do the rear turn signals and I would do the shift lever. However both were done because the mechanic didnt get that memo. However the Labor charge was reasonable from the $200 down to $129 that I paid.I would say perhaps better communication within the company and if a customer asks to have parts ordered and replaced do it regardless if there is a more important issue with the motorcycle. Btw I probably wont buy another Kawasaki but that has no reflection on t.o. powersport.

These guys are amazing. My bike broke down on the freeway close by, so I pushed it to the dealership. Charles saw me coming around the corner and ran to assist me. He tried to see if it was an easy fix to get me going right away. Unfortunately the problem was more extensive than a quick remedy would allow. Brian wrote me up, was very professional and had me on the way within a few minutes. All this occurred before they were even open in the morning. Not once did anyone say anything about the time. Charles and Brian were super nice throughout. I found out myself later that I was there before they opened.The issue was diagnosed the same day and parts were ordered. I received an update the next day that parts had arrived with an estimate of when the bike would be ready. Sure enough, I received a call a little later that it was ready. The communication and the attitudes exhibited by Charles and Brian were superb. Although they are the only ones I dealt with Im sure that the rest of the staff is equal in excellence. After I DIY changed the rear tire my rear brakes just didnt seem to be grabbing like they used to on the Dorsoduro 900, while at the same time they were hugging the rotor enough to rainbow it on a 20 mile ride. Paul hooked me up with a service appointment for the weekend, and Mason had the brakes diagnosed and fixed within the hour. I live 3 hours away and had loaded the bike in my truck to bring it down, and I even had a nice offer from the staff to assist with the reload to haul it home. When you go into any dealership looking for a bike, your experience depends heavily on who you deal with. My experience with Jordan, the person who sold me my bike, was amazing!Jordan was informative, experienced and most importantly a good listener. I was able to tell Jordan what I was looking for in a motorcycle and with that information he was able to provide me with options that fitted those needs.Jordan was able to be honest about his products and sell me what he thought I actually needed instead of trying to sell me all the bells and whistles in the store. Through that, I was able to really trust what Jordan was trying to tell me and value his opinion. I actually just got off the phone with Jordan today where I was getting some advise on an addition to the bike that I am considering.Jordan makes more than a sale when you buy a bike from him. He makes a personal relationship and establishes a report that makes you only want to deal with him. Whenever I deal with Jordan I feel truly taken care of. I really wish there was a half a star to rate this dealer at. Allow me to begin with if you need service the service staff is friendly, and I have never had any issue with them. Though a bit pricey the quality is worth the little extra out of pocket.Now for my experience. I went in to apply for a loan and trade in my motorcycle for a new R1. I sat around for 4 hours on a Friday while waiting to here back from the Credit Union as to if they would give me the loan. The following Tuesday still having heard nothing I went down to the credit unions offices to investigate and expedite the process. What I had discovered was that TOPS had never sent the info to the union regarding the bike, so they had dropped the ball there. Returning to TOPS to collect that I needed as far as total on the bike, estimated trade in, and such to that I could calculate what additional down payment I needed to come up with, I found that their staff had lost my paperwork as far as the quote on my trade in and quoted price on the bike. A very poorly managed structure, and I even overheard Mary, one of their finance consultants asking the credit union while I was in there offices, if I was harassing them. There is no faster way to loose a sale then accusing the customer of harassing you when it is your fault for the problems.Needless to say I will be doing all of my shopping for motorcycles and accessories at other dealers.

Thousand Oaks Powersports responded to every email when I was looking to buy 3 motorcycles and a trailer. They told me me that once I purchased bikes I would then get 30% of all riding gear merchandise from now on. Now that I have spent over 20k on the bikes & trailer their merchandise sales persons tell me that it is only on certain items. Unlike before, now they have not returned any phone calls or emails. I would recommend not purchasing anything from this store as they do not fulfill their promises.

This has been a horrible buying experience, and it will likely be my last time doing business with these people. I purchased a 2018 KTM three days ago, they didnt have anymore fully assembled bikes on the shop floor. If purchased, I was promised delivery(which they offered as part of the deal) three days later. Its day 3 and here I have been left in the dark, very poor communication considering I just paid $12k for a bike. I finally got ahold of someone and have now been told they are having problems with the delivery truck and they wont be able to deliver on time. This on top of the fact, that during the purchase I stood there for almost three hours waiting for Mary(finance woman) to help me, instead she was helping someone that arrived after me.I will definitely do more research before my next purchase.

Purchasing my 2018 KTM EXC-F was a good experience. I was very up front about wanting an out the door price, which understandably most dealers dont want to give that out. They gave me a great price. They did not play games with me on price which I appreciate. I live 5 hours out of town. They lined up everything for me in advance. I kind of wish they spent time with me setting things up like Sag and ride height, but I dont know if they recommend that after break in period, I am a newb. A little anxious on upsells for accessories like helmet and what not, but I get it that, its a business plus they were offering big discounts with bike purchase. Alex is the boss and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is right. He even set up the suspension on my Tuono better than any bike Ive owned. If u are afraid of buying a bike out of state, purchase through Thousand Oaks Powersports, let me tell you why. 2 years ago I purchased a Lingenfelter z06 Corvette from a GM dealer in Atlanta, site unseen, after leaving a deposit it took me 6 WEEKS to get the car which ended up being a lemon and cost me $14,000 in repairs to get working right. I swore to never buy out-of-state again.A few months after that nightmare, I decided to get a bike. I did my research and narrowed it down to the 2017 Yamaha FZ10, the smarter and cheaper purchase for me. I started looking around the country nationally &at all of the local dealers in Utah. While Looking I found on CycleTrader that Thousand Oaks Powersports had 6 or so of the FZ10s They were a lot cheaper as well then Utah but being scared to death of purchase out-of-state again I decided to look at local dealers &see if they would match ToPs Low prices. To my surprise a Yamaha dealer manager here, told me that California Yamahas were detuned because of Cal. emissions laws which seemed odd. The sales manager knew u cant find FZ10s here and said hed come down $500 but then added $1,200 in fees ontop. I went home and called TOP, Leo a salesman got on the phone and I told him the tale he laughed and said all US Yamahas are 50 state legal. We talked for an hour &he had just moved from Utah to California &was going to be in my home city in a few days. He offered if I bought one hed bring it to utah 4free!(We didnt make it)Well I asked him about the pricing on the bike, they had 6 new FZ10s $2,200 under MsRP! But he told me there were set up fees taking it to around $11,600. He couldve left it &I would have bought a new bike. But he said you know, we have one in the color you want on the floor that was bought by a customer, he owned it for 2 weeks &put only 300 miles on it. Has nearly all of its factory warranty left and is flawless. He told me the advantage of buying it were no dealer fees and $400 in service was done which I was happy to pay for. This $13,000 bike was only $9,950! I immediately called my bank & they jumped on the instant equity. Leo then put me in contact with Seth the finance guy, another awesome person. He walked me through everything contacted my bank on multiple occasions to make sure everything was done correctly. I did nothing else. They overnighted paperwork, and offered to help with shipping but told me I could ship cheaper if I arranged it myself. Who says that? So I did and saved several hundred dollars.With their assistance the bike got here in pristine condition its amazing and looks brand-new, not to scratch. Better than new!Through the entire process both Leo even while on vacation and Seth stayed in contact with me The entire time daily to let me know where they were in the process and if anything was needed from me. They even held the bike through the whole process and let me say they sweetened the deal much more than they had to! They then put me in contact with their parts guy knowing I had some items I wanted to purchase such as frame sliders, exhaust slip on Etc. He was helpful and was going to get pricing for me.I wont go into it much more but was so excited to have had an amazing experience with a dealership and buying out of state. If you had a bad experience like me and are weary of buying out of state, contact Leo and Seth at Thousand Oaks Powersports they are amazing will take care of you and are honest. This experience has made me a few new friends in California, Leo even mentioned going riding when he gets into town next. Typical salesman? I think not. Do not hesitate to call them or do business with Them, these guys are professionals, they love and know their bikes and actually care about customer service. Ive had very good luck with TOPS, Ive purchased a couple bikes from them and have always gotten a great deal and my arm wasnt twisted to buy additional warranties. The parts dept matches everyones price and is usually very helpful. Ive also had my bikes serviced there several times and the work was done correctly at a fair price. They have a great selection plus offer test rides on just about any bike as long as you have your M1 license. Ive been riding and buying motorcycles for a long time and TOPS is really one of my favorite places to go to and definitely one of the top shops in the Conjeo...

This is a new review on 8/12/20....I had taken my 2012 FZ1000 Yamaha in on July 23rd for a Service Appointment and replacement of the Starter Switch Assembly. Due to the over three week delay in getting the replacement assembly from Yamaha, due to the COVID -19 situation and delays from Japan, Charles one of the Master Technician devised a secondary switch assembly and was able to get my motorcycle back operational on 8/12.Again this dealership goes over and above; with both the Service Department (Wyatt) and Parts Department (Jason) keeping me abreast of the delays and offering me a work-around solution.Also at the end of the day the majority of dealerships will not work on motorcycles greater the five years old, and this dealership does...Thanks Again!!!Someone had placed a bad review using my name. This place, for some reason, has never worked well for me. Unfortunately it is the closest dealer to where I live which has compelled me to keep going there despite the experiences I have had with them. In the past 7 years I have purchased 5 brand new motorcycles (FZ-07, FJ-09, Versys 1000, Ninja 300 & Kawasaki C-14) & every time I went to T.O. Powersports first (because they were the closest) and each and every time they gave me some outrageous price. Every time this happened I went to another dealer and on the same day purchased the bike I wanted for much, much, less than the T.O. Powersports price. I purchased two bikes from Wheels in Motion in Chatsworth, and both times they treated me fantastic and gave me a great price. They even took a trade-in and gave me a fair price. I also bought two bikes from Kawasaki of Simi Valley and again great prices. I bought the Versys 1000 from Cal Coast Motorsports and again no haggling -- just a fair price and a good deal on a trade-in. Okay, so thats my experience, but on the bright side I can say that Rex is a nice guy who has tried to work with me and Mike Lopez (sales manager), patiently endured my complaints about a purchase offer -- so its not all bad. Incidentally, a 2017 Yamaha FJ-09 that I originally tried to buy at T.O. Powersports (but bought at Wheels in Motion), is still sitting on their showroom floor. It is the blue one and seems to now be a permanent fixture in their showroom. No surprise there.

The parts department is very friendly and they offer noticeable discounts just for being nice to them. They also price match which if used properly is a huge benefit of using them. The sales department will move heaven and earth to get you approved for financing even when your credit worthiness is questionable. While not diping into the well of subprime lenders. My opinions of them can still be mixed but they are growing on me. They will work to upsell you and they do want your money but they arent horrible.

Not really a person that post but after a nugde from Google, here goes.. Havent taken my bike there in 3 or 4 years... I refuse to after my last experience. Had an engine taken out and a used one installed... long story short, I had to open it back up and review their work because it felt weird (approx 1100 rpm it would lose oil pressure), I heard a bunch of rattling and turn signals would not work properly (only left blinkers worked). When I looked inside, there were bolts/screws missing or half way inserted when I got it back and lighting harness was wired weird (I had to order oem harness and install myself). On top of that, this sketchy kid who was working there with the same kawi asked me if I wanted to sell him parts of my bike (he didnt mean the old motor) before they even finished working on it which gave me an uneasy feeling. There were a few other things too, but I think I made my point. On the flip side, there was this one amazing mechanic there but I dont think he was the main person to work on my bike... wish I could remember his name.. he seemed like he really knew his job. As Im aircraft mechanic by trade, game recognize game and he was impressive but I digress. Unfortunately after that experience I never felt comfortable to return so I travel out of area for maintenance needs. Things could have changed since Ive been there but Im not taking that chance with my life. But thats just my experience!

I went in to buy a raptor 700. I asked the salesman Danny Gonzales if it was a green sticker. Danny said that it was. When the tags showed up a month later, it was a red sticker. I called back and Danny told me that “I don’t know much about that”. He then passed me off to his manager Chris Rodriguez who said he would help resolve the issue. At first this was going to be unwinding the deal, couldn’t happen. Then selling me something else, which was a older unit for more money. I then asked for a refund. I was told after dragging the Department of Consumer Affairs into the mediation that I could return it for a $864 restocking fee because the bike wasn’t worth ad much due to it being used and cost of labor involved in the process. This was worked down from $1600. They didn’t stick to that part of the deal either. Thousand Oaks powersports refused to return the principle paid on the note. They didn’t mail out my return check until days after a written agreement, and Yamaha finance still assumed I had the quad in my possession three weeks after the return. I decided to hop online to find out how much less they are selling the quad for now, which is part of why I paid a restocking fee, and they are selling it as new and at a new selling price. I verified by vin that it was the same bike. I don’t know if that was a mistake, but going off other experience, I doubt it. Pretty rough experience. I won’t be returning, and most of the folks I know won’t be going there either.

5 stars for the service department. Even though they dont work on bikes older than 2000, they helped me figure out what was wrong with my 95 yz125. They also did an awesome job installing a camera and crash bars on my multistrada. Will keep taking my bikes here for service. Only ding is their sales department, although they are straight up with you they wont give you the best deal on a new bike. Buddy of mine got a kawi vulcan for 2k under what this places final otd offer was.

I dont get laughed at or treated like a rookie as a first time dirt bike owner since I have to ask elementary level questions that are better asked in person opposed to browsing forums or manuals. Every time I come in I get treated as a guest opposed to a customer. Last time I came in one of the gentlemen in the parts department greeted me with, hey welcome back, how was your ride last week? since I had talked about going to Jawbone the previous visit. This type of hospitality in todays world is hard to come by.

Follow through is lacking. Staff is great during the purchase but does not follow through after I purchased the bike. Asked them to mail my temp registration that they forgot to give me, after a week I had to drive in to pick it up. When I asked for the Navigation USB drive to load the Nav maps, they were puzzled and said they will call Yamaha. I’m puzzled why it was not loaded on the bike already.

Im a total rookie with no experience at all. Came to Thousand Oaks Powersports to get advice and see inventory of dirt bikes. Ive told right away that Im not buying anything and want to see whats available and pricing, maybe get some advice. Didnt even have a chance to ask an advice because salesperson wasnt interesting in talking to me at all. Thats a shame. Ive already saved around 70% of money needed for the purchase and I can hardly see TO Powersports as potential place to buy a motorcycle, just because I wasnt welcome. On other hand Simi Valley Cycles store sales people were very helpful and spent half an hour with me helping to understand what it is to be a dirt bike rider. Printed a list of recommended equipment and gave me useful contacts and social network links for dirk bike communities. It doesnt necessarily mean that SVC is a better store than TO Powersports, but... customer experience for me was night and day between these two.

Ordered two bolts for my bike, which were the oil drain plug and one for the skid plate. They claimed it would be at there store in 2 days. I received a call nearly 3 weeks later that the parts came in. Only the drain plug bolt came in and charged me for both. I suggest doing business elsewhere as this isnt the only issue I have had with this shop. Unfortunately my favorite shop TRE closed up in Simi, if they reopen in a new location send them some love.

Even their finance team was really laid back and straightforward, which is the total opposite of what Ive dealt with at car/motorcycle dealierships.I highly recommend going there, even if youre like me and never wanted to step foot in a new bike dealership. Ask for Jordan, who has an almost Zen like attitude and has motorcycled in pretty much every country on earth.Trust me, youll ride out of there a happy rider.

Typically very satisfied with service but checked site store hours on Google so I could pick up my bike today Sunday July 19th and called just to double check before hand and the web is wrong. Id say you need to update your covid schedule. mandatory!!!! would have wasted 2 hrs and $30 of gas going out there just to be disappointed in the end.

On the phone with them now. i was happy with their service dept. I dont feel like i am getting the run around like I do at the Mega Mall or DelAmo MS who are misleading, not sure about the sales dept., never bought a bike there. I think they give pretty good deals if you buy a few bikes at a time, since some of the motocross racers seem to purchase from them? The times i have been to an independent shop that does MX race bikes.

I have purchased 2 bikes and spent thousand of dollars for accessories + gears at T.O. Powersports. As a local of T.O., I wanted to be loyal to them even though I knew I am paying a little more for some stuff. I hate to bad-mouth them online but after few incidents I dont shop there anymore. Brian is the man! dropped my bike off on Saturday and was told it would be ready the following middle of the week. i called on Wednesday and said i needed it by Friday instead of next week for a last minute ride and the parts werent even in yet. Brian put a rush on it and it was finished by the close of business Thursday. It was like a whole new bike! Thanks Brian!

TL:DR - This store will spam you about reviewing them if they get your contact info - both email AND texts. Overall the store has been a headache to deal with. The service dept. is great though.After spamming me with emails about reviewing their store, I ended up coming here to leave a review hoping that would stop their emails, since their unsubscribe button doesnt seem to work.Now, two days after posting a review theyve started sending me spam texts prompting me to review their store.So far, dealing with this store as a whole has not been great and leaves a lot to be desired.The service department though, has been fantastic and I wish I could rate them separately.

I bought a 2018 ZX10R from Alan Sapega (hope I spelled that right) and he was a pleasure to work with. I brought my pickup and two daughters. They helped get the bike on the back of the truck (I did have to tie it down for insurance purposes) but Alan was willing to offer advice. They were really nice to my daughter and the overall experience was great! I would buy from them again and recommend them to anyone.

Stole parts from our bike when we brought it for service.Over charged us after a quote.We provided pictures of the bike when we dropped it off to show that the part was there and yet the management wouldn’t look at the cameras to see who stole the part...Really??Then they said they would order the part to replace it and never did!Thieves and liars!!

I went in to buy a new KTM and had the worst experience ever. The salesman Matt seemed uninterested in helping me and at one point went to check something and didnt return. I went to find him helping someone else. I ended up purchasing the bike from another dealer in West Covina. In my opinion, this dealership has the worst customer service.

I’ve been going here for parts and service to my bikes. Never been let down by the Service Dept. I’ve had the wrong part order from parts but it was quickly remedied and they gave me a discount for the inconvenience. I’ve only had this happen once out of many parts orders.I’ve had friends buy from then because they’ll usually match any deal you can find.

This review is based on my first encounter with Thousand Oaks powersport . I called a gentleman by the name Danny answered the phone on sales department. I asked about the Aprilia LE discounted price explained my situation with a bike I have for trade also I have a approval from a bank for the loan . Here when the call goes down hill . I told Danny I have a ZX10RR not a ZX10R that I want to trade and that I owe on the bike . I ask for a ruff idea on what a value for ZX10RR trade there shop would they consider not a exact trade in value just a ruff idea there’d valued from 11400 to 13285 I checked already did my home work. He jumped on we just sold a new ninja for $12999 discounted I pointed out to him that for a ZX10R, He kept over talking and Rudely cutting me off and insisting to me that he knows Kawasakis and what they sell them for . I kept trying to explain this is a 2018 ZX10RR not the Regular ZX10R. He kept on again interrupting me and cutting me off the sales pitch to go to the dealership . I would have no problem riding to the dealership I just wanted some info so I won’t get low balled and from making a unnecessary trip up to Thousand Oaks powersports there a 120 miles plus from me and if I can have a ruff idea what they would consider depending on the condition and mileage I would be willing to ride up there. Other words he jumped the gun over and over and just kept talking over me instead of listening and doing his research and getting back to me. Sad part I learned about this dealership thru U-tube video of Jarret Campisi . I’ll hope others don’t run into this same sales guy that over zealous on trying to get the customer there when this is a situation that could have been handled differently and better in a more professional manner. When all I asked for a simple research and call back again not a exact value just a estimate I understand they have to have the bike there to give me a real accurate estimate. But in this case the sales guy reacted instead of listening.
