I had a terrible car accident in January 2022. While stopped at a red light, my car was torpedoed by a car, that was rear ended by a speeding jack knifed 18 wheeler. Not only was my cars undercarriage obliterated, but I sustained unbearable nerve damage. In despair and in constant pain, I needed help. With all the personal injury attorneys that advertise via television commercials, it was hard to determine who could help me best. At the end of June, I was nearly killed on my road bicycle when I was side-swiped by a car driven by an inattentive driver. An ambulance took me to the hospital and I spent two days in the trauma ward, testing for internal bleeding and injuries as a result of the five fully displaced fractured ribs and two more hairline fractured ribs caused by this negligent driver.On my second day in the hospital I started receiving and continued to receive daily phone calls from the negligent driver’s insurance company telling me the clock was ticking and that I’d better settle quickly; I knew I needed someone to protect me. I was struck hard at a pedestrian crossing by a driver who was not paying attention. I suffered a broken femur bone and ended up in a hospital for a month. After a motorcycle accident, the drivers insurance company offered a ridiculous injury settlement. I had a few doctor visits over hand pain, and their x-rays showed nothing broken. I figured it would just take a long time to heal and didnt want to run up a large bill to the insurer.But I still had a lot of pain and loss of strength. And what they offered was insulting.I contacted Mr. OConnor who instructed me to go back to my doctor and tell him I was still in pain. The doctor finally referred me to a hand specialist who determined, in about a minute, that I had torn the ligament off my thumb. They would need to remove a ligament from my wrist and nail it to my thumb and allow it to scar in. I worked throughout (with one hand) and there was no loss of earnings.After their next offer, and next, I followed Mr. OConnors advice (he made it clear that it was my decision, but gave his advice) and rejected the offers.As we neared the court date he called them and got the full policy amount! All of it!I received about twice as much as I would have had I taken their earlier offer.Mr. OConnor was always available for questions, and returned calls quickly when he was unable to pick up the phone (which he often did!).Then, when it was all over he negotiated with my medical insurance company and settled their payment for less than half of the bill!I HIGHLY recommend this law firm and Mr. OConnor!
