Stayed here for the Stagecoach festival. We had a wonderful time! Our rooms were spacious and the staff was very friendly. During the day, the pool was so much fun. They had a DJ with free drinks and food set up sponsored by a company. After coming back after a long night, the bar was still open and we were able to order food, find a comfortable chair, and relax. Housekeeping was there everyday, making sure we had towels, and asked if we needed anything more. We will come back again!

First things first! Coleman was at the registration desk when I checked in and was so absolutely phenomenal! Super down to earth yet top-notch professional just like one would hope for at a resort like the Westin!!! He explained things purposefully but in a way in which I felt very welcome and excited to be there! I dont know how many times hed had to go over his spiel but he sounded like he was just as happy for me to be there as the first person he would have welcomed with the same information! They are so lucky to have him!I stayed here for work nearby, and brought my adult son with me so that we could hang out in the evenings. Positive things where the size of the room, a nice large TV with easily accessed HDMI and other inputs if you bring along your own streaming device, etc. Wifi was pretty fair and was included in your stay. There is $10 and resort credit each day that can be utilized at any place that you would charge things to your room, we literally just went to the bar and got some ginger beers to bring back to our room since we were not drinking alcoholic beverages, but you could also use this at the Starbucks on site!There is a 1-hour happy hour that you can go to for unlimited open bar drinks, etc from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. which we did not get to take advantage of.For a resort and spa I felt like the rooms were a bit tattered. The bed was firm for me, and the kitchenette/bar section of the room was a bit awkward. The refrigerator was within a deep cabinet, there was no microwave except upon request which was difficult as we had a late check-in. Extra towels are not provided, but they do have turn-over/ cleaning service daily which is uncommon since COVID (make sure to use your do not disturb tag if you dont want them coming into your room).There are easy simple USB ports near the bed and the couch is a pull out sofa with a memory foam mattress. Extra bedding is readily available in the closet. The sinks have plenty of space to put toiletries.The air conditioning worked great!The amenities were very nice but we did not really get the chance to take advantage of them. I did not get to try the restaurant, but would definitely consider in the future. Also, they do have a small mini bowling alley available with a free game for each of us for our stay that I did not take advantage of. We had brought food with us to prepare so as not to eat out the whole time, however without the microwave some of our food went to waste as it was frozen and there was just a refrigerator with no freezer.Overall, I definitely recommend staying, be sure to use your Marriott bonvoy rewards for a discounted rate and additional points!Parking was definitely limited if you wanted to park anywhere near your room. When its 108° outside this can be very troublesome/trying.Although its beyond the resorts control, my biggest complaint was how loud our neighbors were. The first two nights we had a family above us were in the kids were absolutely running and jumping through their quarters right up until 10:00 p.m. definitely did not feel a nice escape after working all day. The third night theyre literally was a party of either young adults or teenagers that were completely obnoxious walking the trails outside of the rooms laughing and talking loudly and I believe there were a group of them and the room beside us and they were loud up until about 1:00 a.m. Although it is nice they are a family-friendly resort, it would be nice to have adults only sections, especially for those who would like to be able to wake up early and be well rested. That being said, the blackout curtains worked phenomenally well!

We usually go to Indian Wells, but this time my wife decided to book this location because of my birthday and we had other families joining us. It was a complete success, we enjoy every second of it. The golf course is very well maintained and the kids enjoyed all their amenities.

I loved how spacious the rooms were. We had a king bed with duck pond and pool view. There are a lot of kids attractions with water slides, nice looking pools, tortoise, kids play room and crafts area. I would love to visit again.

This review is for the golf course only as I did not stay at the hotel.Absolutely beautiful course! Just what you’re looking for out in the desert, amazing water features and the fairways/greens were spot on. I played Saturday afternoon before Mother’s Day and it was wide open. Extra shout out to the bartender in the snack bar near the pro shop. Didn’t catch her name but she brought the good vibes and of course some good swing grease :)

I really enjoyed our stay here. There was so much for my kids and I to do. We went bowling, swimming down the water slides, they had a watermelon eating contest, free drinks, miniature golf, bike riding, tortoises, and more! The pina coladas were excellent! Service was excellent! We were greeted with champagne and kettle corn! It was just phenomenal service!

Great place to go and enjoy a vacation. They have villas and great views to the golf course. You have a great weekend with your wife or girlfriend or can bring your full familyThey have a pool with a slide. Great restaurants and the lounge pumps it up in the weekend with live dj.

Excellent hotel.The breakfast buffet was delicious. The grounds and overall ambience was first rate.My mother is elderly, so their complimentary golf cart service (to get around the resort) was extremely helpful.Our room was near the adult pool and the beautiful duck ponds.The staff were friendly and kind, not a grim face in sight.We found the senior discount offered a better room price than AARP or any other specials. We booked directly through the hotel.Highly recommend!

There are a lot of nice aspects to this hotel. So many kid attractions. Pools, slides, yard games, ball games, bikes, arcade, kid room. Pancake breakfast and candy bar. All great! 3 stars was the hotel feels very used… a lot of delayed maintenance and banged up furniture, carpet, walkways. The hallways in our hotel building (5) had weird rubber flooring and pooling water with clogged drains. Food service is slow and expensive, we waited 2 hours for our dinner one night and only got 1/2 the food we ordered. Housekeeping would come by at 8am sharp so we started leaving the dnd door hanger out. They only made the beds and replaced towels when they did come back - but we were usually still in the room at 8 getting ready for the day.

The Westin Hotel is absolutely stunning and beautiful. I went to their stellar Spa for a fantastic massage. The Spa is fabulous, warm and comfortable. Also, there’s a great boutique located in the Spa with many gorgeous items to purchase. The massage was perfect. The massage was professionally done with the highest experience and care. The whole experience exceeded all of my expectations and I will be returning there soon. The hotel by itself is absolutely magnificent. The staff here are all wonderful, friendly and very kind. You must enjoy a Spa day soon at this terrific hotel. You will not be disappointed in the least.

The rooms are in independent structures much like condo’s. The experience is nice. Much better than a hotel room. The grounds are nice and the atmosphere is definitely upscale.Digging into the minutia the grout on the bathroom floor was dirty and there was mold at the bottom of the shower curtain.

This place is WAY overpriced. Its a cool place to stay, and there are several standouts, such as the pools, the bowling/arcade games (not included - additional cost), bars (not included - additional cost), and golf course (not included). But the overall quality of the rooms and the whats included for the price youre paying factor is pretty bad. The restaurant has very few menu options, and the prices are outrageous.

Please throw room 1639 into the ocean. It opens directly into the parking lot. I have not slept in 2 nights due to disturbances in the parking lot each night. Quarter mile walk to the lobby. Tried to nap but interrupted by the basketball court next door and constant overhead planes. Firmly told I was unable to switch rooms. This is one of the worst hotels I’ve been in in quite some time. Very motel 6. Oh and I specifically asked for a quiet room at check in. Jerks.

The hotel is near the airport, highway, and perfectly located between downtown Palm Springs and Palm Desert. There were multiple pools that were well maintained and busy, but not overly crowded. The staff was wonderfully nice. The grounds and views were amazing.

We stayed at the Westin while we were in town for Coachella in April of 2024. When we arrived, earlier than check in, we were able to let them know we arrived but since we got there early they took our number down to let us know when the room was ready. We couldnt find the bell hop so we asked the bartender and he went above and beyond to tag our bags and put them in the back office. We went down the street to eat and then circled back at check in time.When we arrived they had our room ready and we learned the gentleman at the check in counter was a musician as well, when we mentioned the bartender helped with our bags he knew right where they were. They gave us a beautiful room and we were on our way.Our room had a semi private balcony that looked out over the grounds. Our bed was very comfortable with pillowy bedding, we slept very well. We had coffee and a coffee maker for the morning and free water bottles the entire stay. We got access to a free game of bowling each, which we were unable to fit in our busy weekend schedule. We also had access to a free happy hour each day at 430pm, but we unfortunately were at Coachella each day by that time.The only downside of staying here was the long ride to Coachella. It took about 30 minutes to get there daily and the first bus would not arrive in time for the first set each day because of the distance. If you are not staying for the ease of getting to Coachella, then this is no reason to not book.They had pools, a kids play area, waterslides, and lots of golf! I would stay there again if I were in town.

A beautiful hotel to stay! Rooms are spacious, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the location itself is stunning. The architecture alone was enough for me, but the added amenities, like the quiet pool, water slide, and various water features make this spot wonderful.

Have not had the privilege to stay here over night, but the amenities of this hotel are exceptional!Ate at their restaurant, 5 stars!Had a breakfast item and drink at the Cafe, very nice!The stand out of this hotel is the pet friendliness. They have partnered up with PS Animal Shelter and have in their lobby a wonderful designated area for the adoption of a furry friend!So yes, on your next stay at this wonderful hotel you may be leaving with a plus 1, furry friend!!

Before checking in, I noticed I had been upgraded to a “renewal” room with a Mountain View. Great! I checked in at 2:45p, and was told I would be “upgraded further” because my allocated room wasn’t ready. Great! Upon settling into the room, it seemed pretty average. However as the stay progressed, we noticed that the room next to us was an event suite. And the traffic in and out of it was nonstop during our entire stay. The doors constantly slamming shut, banging of food carts outside. Employees shouting to one another in the hallways. At one point, leftover dishes were left outside, apparently after a seafood meal, and it reeked of fish to the point we had to close our patio door because the smell was nauseating. Then, at 5:45a both mornings, the pool service showed up, the workers whistling and talking loudly to one another, which woke us up before dawn. When I choose a “resort” for my accommodations on a vacation, I do so specifically because I want to rest and relax. This stay was not restful nor relaxing.

We had a great experience staying at the Westin Rancho Mirage. Our villa was very nice and the kitchen had everything we needed. The villa and grounds were perfectly maintained, beautiful, and clean. We enjoyed the east pool and whirlpool- the setting couldn’t be better! The service at check-in was lacking. But otherwise okay.

We had a business event at the Westin, and it was really great! The only reason I didnt give it five stars is that I believe the food served could be better. There were several people in our group who felt the same way. Just step things up a bit folks, it would not take a lot, we have experienced some awesome meals at other resorts we have been at and the quality of resort that the Westin is... should be a no-brainer.

All staffs were quite helpful, especially Jay at the reception and another staff rsponsible for feeding the tortoises. They answered our questions all quite patiently even sometimes my kid would ask a few simple and basic questions. We had great time there. Food is just ok.

Overall a lovely resort and hotel but the experience was disappointing. We were here the week after easter Sunday and the general sentiment was “over crowded and understaffed.”Some of the great things were that there were complimentary pancakes in the morning, beautiful grounds, friendly staff. And we loved that they partner with the local humane society and have an adoptable dog on site that you can take for walks.The downsides really boiled down to over capacity and under resourced. From conversations with other guests, I heard that they were sold out of rooms and they sold out of day passes. The pool felt like Vegas, it was packed. Basically impossible to get a lounge chair unless you are someone that claims chairs with towels in the morning which was rampant. Waited in line at the bar for about 40 minutes to get two drinks. At one of the pools, they were completely out of towels and water and had no food service. One evening we tried to order pizza. When we ordered they said it would be 30 mins. More than an hour later, we inquired and they said they only have one guy working the kitchen. The line at the coffee shop was a good 20 mins and they were out of a lot of things.It was fine, but expected more from a Westin resort. It felt very much like the goal was to pack as many people in as possible to get as much revenue as they can at the expense of the guest experience being mediocre and under serviced. Not worth the resort fee and room rate if it’s difficult to enjoy the amenities.

Spring break this year, we chose to check this place out with our family and friends.The resort is beautiful! All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful.They have 3 pools (adult, quiet, and fun). We hung out at the fun pool that boast 2 water slides that not only the kids enjoyed but the adults as well. Food and cocktails are available at the pool and served poolside. Prices are average for a nice resort $15-$20 for a burger and fries.They also have activities for kids, games, crafts, and watching them feed the turtles.There are multiple places to eat on the resort. Fire lounge, Pinzimini, Coffeology, Pinz and Pints (1 hour free drinks and sweets), Chefs window, and the pool.The only negative for us was our room. It was spacious and clean. However, we had a leak coming from a fire sprinkler that was found by a drop hitting my wife in the face while laying in bed. It was a very slow leak. We alerted the hotel, and they sent someone to look at it but did not fix it. Did not offer a solution, not even a roll away. The next day, we were asked to leave the room to fix the problem but were never updated on the situation. The leak was still there, but we only had 1 night left and decided to stay.Overall a good vacation!

Absolutely shocked with our experience, it is an unsafe and insecure hotel- our room was broken into and our belongings of high value were stolen only to find out this has happened before at this hotel. We came back one night to find our passport bags, ID cards on the floor, our suitcases looked through and our highest value belongings missing. Someone broke into our room without hotel security, any hotel staff or hotel cameras capturing it- it could even be hotel staff. We filed a police report and the police was not surprised, they told us this has happened before at this hotel and they’ve had to fire hotel staff because of this. The hotel did not handle or help the situation - no one from the hotel (staff, manager, director) came to help us or check in us after we called the lobby about an “emergency”, only the security guard stayed while we worked with the police. It is beyond me that this “has happened before” at a Westin hotel and is common during the Coachella days and that the hotel is not prepared to prevent or manage the situation. I would never stay at this hotel again and I would never recommend it, absolutely untrustworthy and unsafe.

The golf course itself, BEAUTIFUL. But...no drink cart on the course, snack bar closed, pro shop closed when we made the turn. No bottled or water on the cart. We were dying for something to drink and it was a ghost town. I know we were one of the last ones out but geez, at least let us know. We could have bought something before we teed off. Do better...

We spent the day at this resort pool using ResortPass day passes to the pool. For a fee, ResortPass lets you hang out at various resorts in your city. We chose the Westin because we have twin eight year olds, and this resort pool has two large water slides.This place could be amazing, unfortunately its poorly managed (or having money troubles...IDK). The slides are awesome, and with a million kids in the pool, our kids had a blast, so thats really all that matters, I guess. However, it was, IMO, very pricey. We paid $250 for 4 adults/2 kids, ($50 for an adult pass and $25 for a kid pass) arrived at 11:00am, and there were NO open chairs to be found. The place was a ZOO. We stole two chairs from an unused Cabana, immediately felt badly for the poor pool staff who were being berated by lines of guests in the same situation as us. There was one cash register at the one bar so the line was always 15 + people deep. We finally made it to the Bar and they had NO white wine, offering instead either champagne or rose. We all thought huh...the entire Westin is out of white wine at noon? The kids ordered a pizza, which took an hour to get and was gross. About two hours in, when the adults went to order some lunch, they informed us the only menu item left available was a burger. Not even a hot dog or snack. Later they were out of chips/soda pop. Two of us walked to the adult pool, which had white wine and a full menu. This 21+ Adult pool also had KIDS! In the loungers, in the pool, in the hot tub. The restrooms were TRASHED with no TP, and doors falling off hinges. It was as if the Westin was prepared for 100 pool guests, but 1,000 showed up. They also told us no outside food or drink, so we followed the rules, only to find tons of families enjoying huge spreads of snacks, lunch and drinks theyd brought in from home. If you ever go, we learned the smart move is to get a backyard cabana for $150, where the 6 of us watched the servers fawn over the 8 cabana guests, while we crammed on our two chairs. Oh, and bring your own picnic too!

The property grounds and activities are good. But rooms are not well updated - TV did not work, mini fridge did not work, shower was not good, and comforter was the heaviest piece of bedding I have seen in a while. Also, no clear signs on the property to buildings and rooms. If you arrive at night...good luck trying to find an easy way to building 14 or 13.

Think cruise line: plush environs, a variety of food and drink choices, and every amenity parents and their children might want. Just dont leave the ship because youll have to swim (if you didnt rent a boat) several miles to find a better meal, entertainment, or golf course. Everything at this resort is overprived, the WiFi is crappy, and cell service out here is poor. Please enjoy the Lido deck.

We have been going here for the past three falls to visit family in Palm Springs. First off, the view is absolutely beautiful. The view of the mountains over the golf course is something that never gets old. The rooms itself are very nice too. Easy to find and spacious enough to be able to move around. The amenities are also very nice. Multiple pools to suit whatever you’re looking for, and a lobby area with an arcade, multiple places for food, and a quad-like area to sit down in. The only thing I would say is because of how long the resort is, it could take a little bit to walk to the pools or the front desk area depending on which building you’re in. Nevertheless, a wonderful resort that I love coming to each fall.

My family and I arrived at the hotel after 2pm and was told that our room wasn’t ready and check in time was 4pm and that I would receive a text message once the room was ready. I did not receive the text message until 5:17pm. We headed back to the hotel and on my way was stopped by one of the valet guys and asked if I needed help. I told him I was to pick up our room keys. He told me he could generate those for me. He did ansk for my ID. After receiving the key cards we proceeded to our room with all our luggages tagged along. We open the room door only to find out that it was occupied. The lady occupying the room was startled and jumped out of bed. We apologized profusely and went back to our car to load our luggages then headed to the front desk. We were told that only the last name was checked so we were given the wrong room. This is the first time it’s ever happened to us. No apologies extended up until I told the front desk, what if the occupant reacted differently? Someone could have been hurt. First of, why would the hotel allow valet staff to generate room cards?

Handicapped? AVOID! Refused ride from room to meeting rooms!!! Construction blocked most Handicapped spaces. Painful place. Lots of painful walking just for a coffee. Room was fine. Walkin shower helpful. Pools and grounds are lovely. Just very painful for anyone with limited walking; guess they just want young, mobile people only.

So we stayed here for the country music festival concert and we had a pretty good time here - the grounds are beautifully kept in the golf course looked amazing although I didn’t play - the staff is what made this place very fun to visit and everywhere we ran into people they were accommodating - we had something delivered to the office and it took several days to find it for us, but that was the only hiccup we had - there are mini bars set up on the way in and you could get service anywhere on the property it felt like

We had a wonderful time here while visiting for an Indian Wells tournament! James especially was incredibly welcoming and kind at the front desk, as he showed so much care and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. Thank you, James, for being so wonderful!I especially loved my mimosa breakfast at the restaurant overlooking a beautiful view, along with the arcade room we used at night. This hotel is so unique and fun to explore!While my husband and I absolutely loved our room, our friends room had an odd odor and they had to move. I hope that housekeeping/management can be more aware ahead of time if anything is off with the rooms. Overall though, highly recommend!!

For $400 a night we received a room without the ability to access it with our on key. Since their systems were down, we had to go to the front of the hotel and ask the bell man to let us in our room. The only consolation was an extra hour to an already early check out time. Too bad we could not explore the large grounds without the huge inconvenience .

Golf Course. The course was burnt out a lot all over. They had sod in swell areas that were also burnt out bad with no ground under repair markers. The second hole was closed due to maintenance. They made hole four into two par 3’s with one having a flag stick in the fairway, no green. All this with no green fee discount and not any mention on their web site about the course condition. I would not have played here if I knew the condition of the course.

This placed saved my love for palm springs and the other desert areas. This was my first time at this hotel and it was very pleasant. My room was great the sofa bed was comfortable. I love how there was the staff near by to take you around in the cart so you didnt have to walk to the pools. My kids loved the pool and water slide she was on it almost all day. Like a Grande Dame, she is a reflection of her time. 100% spot on for the wider area, she is centrally located and not too far from anything and everything. The golf course is Pete Dye and perfect for the area. The staff is really courteous and thoughtful and the amenities are nice and sufficient. A super easy, manageable and worthwhile resort for a nice vacation stay.

Facts worth knowing:1. The rooms are outdoors. As in, when you open your door you are outside, not in an air conditioned hallway. The grounds are beautiful and well kept though.2. Your car will need a car wash after your stay. It was not particularly windy during my stay but the car got covered in dust and sand between Friday night and Sunday morning.3. If you have Verizon you get nearly no signal here and the wifi was worthless in my room in building 15 and the conference center and all points between.These are not all necessarily criticisms, just some unpleasant facts of my stay.Every staff member I met was excellent. Their events center/ conference hall was nice and the catering there was top notch.

Gorgeous place. Good amount of food places a couple mins away. Hotel is beautiful and everyone was very friendly. When we checked in they upgraded us to pool view just bc it was available, didnt even ask. Came for an event and even those helping clean through out were really nice. One of the ladies that was just cleaning out the trash went out of her way to walk me to the coffee shop when I asked, as well as took one of the speakers thru the back side to get to his room quicker to be back on time. She was just so sweet with us. The rooms were very cleaned and everything was just gorgeous. Sunset walks with my husband felt like I was on a faraway vacation. And I didnt even get to try the pool! Next time!

As far as paying resort/amenity fees for hotels, this one has been the most worth the fee out of all Ive stayed at. Expect to pay premium prices for everything though (a small slice of quiche was $12, and the arcade drops $20 in a heartbeat). Nicely kept grounds, friendly staff, good gym. I was really disappointed. I was expecting a Westin experience and I received much less. In fairness, I was there for a conference so my review is based solely on my room. Here are the issues that I had.* Balcony not cleaned. Had a layer or sand on everything (see picture). I asked three separate times that this be cleaned and was cleaned around 7pm on the night before I left.* Cobwebs on the ceiling* Mold in the caulk around the tub* Tile mismatch in bathroom* Door didnt close without significant effort* Trash in hallway that remained during my entire stay* Bed very old and saggy* Worn out glass desk space with non-work desk chair* Worn carpet throughout* Extremely inconvenient shower* Burned out lights in bathroom* AC wouldnt cool to cold even when set at 65I general it was just worn out. My husband and I had stayed for 6days here. The room was very spacious and neat. We had nice views out the glassed doors facing the golf course. My husband, as a big fan of golf, had great time playing golfs, and I enjoyed relaxing time here escaping from all the house chores including cooking. I especially loved the fitness program provided in the Spa & Wellness building. I went there without not much expectation just to stretch my tired body as other resorts provide kind of easy going & plain classes. Even though the cost of the class is $25, it was more than worth it. The instructor, Yvonne is amazing and so much qualified to coach that I felt energized and healthier after Id done every morning and I could start my days here happy and refreshed. Thank you.

We stayed 2 nights here. The hotel ground is beautiful. The first front desk associate was nice and allowed us to check in early and offered additional game cards for the family. But hotel rooms leave a lot to be desired. The first room we were assigned had several bugs on the ceiling. We talked to the front desk and a maintenance guy came twice and only got rid of some bugs, not all. Then we were offered a different room at a different building. We had to drag all our luggages with 2 children on our own. The second luckily had no bugs, but no shower curtain in the bathroom, the carpet was damp, no hand/face towels, and the safe didn’t work. At the end of the day, I was just too tired to deal with all these. Just want to rest. Being a Marriott Gold member, I stayed at many other hotels and received much better service.

The property only has two pools, could use one or two more.Their small villas are a bit too small and no counter space. Parking is very poor and limited. The hotel is quite spread out and we liked that they offered complimentary rides to and from our room4 stars because the phone in our room would ring all night long. It was very bizzare, when answered it was just static or would hang up after 2 rings. This happened every night we were there multiple times through the night. We complained about it several times and they only gave us a $25 credit. I felt this was not satisfactory considering the price of our room and we had an infant and toddler traveling with us so the ringing phone was very disruptive.

Were not big into golf or golf resort-culture, but my wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay here while visiting Palm Springs. The room layout was a little odd (toilet AND bath/shower in the same room while the sinks were separate for some reason) but they were nicely updated and the beds were very comfortable. Also, while it was off season the weather was nice and the pools were surprisingly warm, making it a great place to spend a few days relaxing after spending time in LA and Joshua tree. We found the designated quiet pool and its surrounding deck particularly enjoyable, as the family-oriented main pool (with water slides) and the adult pool were quite loud. I wish more resorts had a quiet pool! However, what really made our stay great was the friendly and accommodating staff. The housekeeping and bar staff were both excellent, and James who checked us in at the front desk was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming. If we were in the area we would definitely consider staying here again. The only reason anyone shouldnt stay here might be that it is not the greatest location for getting to downtown Palm Springs and other attractions without a car, but it is very hard to do anything in this part of California without a car so that should not be a problem. I also imagine it can get a bit crowded during peak season. Still, we had an excellent time and would recommend it to anyone.

I hope that thete is a control with the resort passes because I dint enjoy it too much. I arrived Friday afternoon and it is already packed. But I think there was a party. I waited until night but just tried the adult pool and its awesome. I went to the big poola t about 10:30am next morning and its a great vibe with music and I had a good sandwich. I was just sitting on the stairs because theres too much people already. Unfortunately it started to get packed again after an hour. I respect the business and I also know it is summer but I hope the crowd can be controlled so the guests, especially members who are checked in will feel a little bit more exclusive.Overall I love my experience and will for sure go back again after the summer so I will enjoy the pool which is the main purpose of my visit.I also love the puppy in the lobby. We get to walk her and she is a stress reliever. I hope she gets adopted soon.Also one comment. However, I would not recommend staying at this hotel! Checked in, got to the room and noticed the bedding was not fresh and had been used. Called to the front desk and asked for the bedding to be changed. They said it would be completed, Left the room for about 4 hours, to return to the same bedding (remade the bed). I called down again, to have them tell me the sheets were changed, I asked them to come to the room so I could prove that the statement of the sheet was changed was inaccurate, they never showed up. Makeup, dirt, and stains should not be present if the sheet were washed! That is completely unsanitary and disgusting. Additionally, the bath robe looked like it was not cleaned as well, with makeup stains around the collar. Walking around the hotel, you notice there is a tremendous amount of deferred maintenance, the property is not well kept, and the housekeeping staff needs to be retrained. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staying here right now for powertrip. Pulling up to the resort it looks very nice with all the palm trees and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Very hot right now here and it’s a very large property, best to ask for a ride in the golf carts to your room. The overall resort is a bit dated and definitely feels like some average resort in Mexico or somewhere. My wife and I are a bit snobby when it comes to food so we are definitely disappointed in the food here. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing. Everything seemed to be pre packaged. The scrambled eggs were definitely not fresh cracked eggs and the waffles were frozen, no cheeses anywhere to be seen to go with the deli meats and smoked salmon, seems flys in the cream cheese. There was an omelet station but when we asked him if we could get one he said no there’s a huge line up. The fruit had zero berries of any kind, all melons and some slimy pineapple. Won’t be eating here again. Other than that it has a nice adults only pool area by our room which looks good. Will check out later. Next time we come to the area we won’t be staying here. Ace hotel or a Airbnb where we can make our own breakfast. Maybe your not as picky as us but other than the bad breakfast it’s a pretty average place, just outdated and no good food. 6.5/10

We purchased a resort pass primarily to spend the day at the pool. The primary reason we picked this hotel was because the pool has slides and is kid friendly. The slides did not disappoint and the staff were lovely. But … the cabana was a disappointment. It’s was warn, dirty, the tie backs for all curtains were broken and one whole curtain was just missing. The floor was so sticky from previous users spilling drinks that were never cleaned up that it was unpleasant to walk. Around the pool some of the waterfalls were turned off or not functioning and there was trash filling the base of the falls. It’s disappointing people choose put their trash there, but it also indicates the pool deck is not cleaned often. There are so many great resorts and beautiful pools in Palm Springs with gleaming facilities that we won’t pick this one again.

Weve been vacation owners at Mission Hills since 2004. Aside from the owners villas being cut off from the hotel facilities (which was a big selling point at the time of purchase), our room and patio was infested with spiders. My daughter woke up to a black widow crawling on the back of the couch (sofa bed) over head. My other daughter was on the patio while we were barbecuing with a black widow spider under her chair guarding an egg sack. This was horrifying. I reported this to the office, they deployed an exterminator requiring us to leave the suite for 2+ hours. I was promised a call from the office but that call was not made. We spent our normal week there but I think were going to start vacationing at a sister property now. This was unacceptable and quite frustrating. I love the Westin Owners Villas which is why weve visited every year since 2005. I hope this improves because Id like to return but as it stands, Im not sure Im going to return for a while.

This Westin exceeded all of my expectations. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with champagne and delicious caramel popcorn. The associate then pulled out a map and gave us multiple room options to pick from, based on our preferences (view, proximity to pool, noise, etc).The room was fantastic. The high, vaulted ceilings gave an element of luxury. The furniture had granite elements that were quite stylish as well. The bed was truly heavenly. I always sleep so well at a Westin!Our room faced the golf course, which had beautiful views of palm trees and snow capped mountains.There was a happy hour with complimentary chips, salsa, and sangria. There was also live entertainment. We were even given a game card for free play in the arcade.What really blew me away was the breakfast buffet. Even though we only had the continental breakfast included with our rate, we were upgraded to the full buffet. The omelets and pancakes were truly some of the best breakfast foods I’ve had in a long time.If you are on the fence, give this place a shot. It’s a little unfortunate that they charge for parking, and it’s a little bit far from downtown Palm Springs, but otherwise this place is a fabulous venue for your desert vacation.

My stay here redeemed Westin, and Marriott in general, especially considering it was a fully booked weekend. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to guests and bright service; from the gentleman at concierge who managed to seamlessly welcome a group of 50 Coachella-bound guests with champagne, to the staff at the little market, everyone was spot on. It has been a very long time since I have experienced/observed this level of service with Mariott - to the extent it has become very unexpected. Honestly, about a month before this stay, my husband and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage, and while there are some obvious differences between 4 and 5 star properties, the four digit difference in price is not commensurate. This Westin has lovely perks - from drink vouchers to food discounts, and arcade that was really fun. While I didnt use any of the pools, they looked fabulous.My room had a pool view, king bed on the 2nd floor. Everything very nice - very clean, huge, so quiet, and a large balcony. Housekeeping did a lovely job and the linens were crisp and thick.As a result of this stay, Im coming back for a few nights on May 15 and hope to have a repeat experience.

While the hotel was nice - we had several problems. One - they handed us a map at reception and pointed in a general direction of our room. Two - the advertised restaurant hours were NOT correct - as MOST of them were not available almost at all. Three - when we wanted food at 9pm we were all but shoved off to go to the chefs window by the main restaurant. This window had a sign in it that said they would be back later. Went to the other bar on site and ordered via them - which the food comes from the same restaurant that shoved us off. After a 30 minute wait - we said something. We had to walk our luggage so far from the parking lot, drag it up the stairs and another 150m or so to our room which was incredibly dated in every way, and was outfitted with very cheap appliances. My husband and I stayed 3 nights (T,W,Th) while he attended a conference and I worked remotely. At first glance, the grounds looked great and the views of the golf course and mountains were beautiful. We parked near our building but there were no Bellman Carts. We each made two trips to bring our belongings to the room and were happy to be in a first floor suite (there are no elevators so that would have added to the challenge). Suite was spacious enough to have two refrigerators (?) yet no microwave. There was a used bar of soap left in shower, an opened pkg of coffee stirrers/sugar, and a spilled bag of Brandini Toffee under the couch. The air filter was filthy. Beautiful grounds do need landscaping HOWEVER the blowers and trimmers were non stop W & Th and LOUD! A landscaper was blowing the exterior hallway and blew dirt and leaves under the door and into the room 2 times. Housekeeping finally came after two calls. Tried to read an exterior ground map but plastic cover was old and scratched (kudos to Ruby who helped us). Walked the path around the course only to encounter a dead bird skeleton that someone duct taped to the fence (honest) by the clubhouse. Jacuzzi by main pool was closed so we had to go to the smaller pool. I can understand an issue or two, but all of these were enough for me to question staying here again.

Live music at the lounge on the weekends and great food options at a fair price. Ive never been to such a WORST HOTEL in my life. On the first day, I barely received the items I asked for after over two hours, but I didnt bring them all. When I called the front desk, most of the time they didn’t answer. I ended up getting an extra towel the next day(Even that, I could wait 20 minutes and talk on the phone). Also there were NO TOWELS in the pool, and my kids had to shiver in the cold. And every two nights, crazy people walked around knocking loudly on the door. I cant believe the experience of having a heart attack while sleeping both nights, not just once. This hotel and the level of people staying here is really the worst. I hope you dont choose this kind of hotel if you want a comfortable and pleasure trip. It was the worst experience ever!!!

We waited for hours for poolside food, and then they didn’t even include all of the order. When we told the waiter he said he would look into it and simply never came back. Just picked up my car from the single charger on the property and found it covered in mud from front to back and top to bottom. The car was displaying the Westin parking permit on the dash. They had power washed their garage floor with my car present. An employee should have been there assisting her and correctly training her on how to operate the phone.- 3 rooms, the carpet was not vacuumed, we all wore socks and shoes the entire time. We did not feel comfortable being barefoot. (photo attached)- Wrappers and dust left behind dresser with fridge- Entry of Hotel Fountain, dog feces littered all over (Beautiful area for photos ruined by this, the feces were dry must have been there for days if not a week+)- Majority of pool towels were stained- Pool chairs were filthy- Las Brisas staff took 2-3 minutes after finishing their conversation before acknowledging me and acted as if I was a bother when ordering.- Dog feces left all around our building. Not a single Doggy Waste basket/bag station available. This makes no sense to me, especially since the hotel is advertised as pet friendly. All 10 of my properties have these, even though a majority of them are not pet friendly. This may not be a brand requirement to have these installed, but it is a common practice in our industry.- All 3 phones were filthy. (photo attached)- Piece of wood below phone was on the ground upon entry in 1 room (photo attached)- Waited 1 hour for 3 cold entrees at Fireside Lounge.- Outdoor Patio heater was not working, so we had to ask our waiter to add a new tank to put back in order. **Absolutely awful experience*** First room: Dirty bathroom floor and dirty sink countertop, wet/damp tissue box which was almost empty w/ no replacement, no waste backet in the bathroom by sinks, waste basket by toilet only w/ no trash bag, pee on the underside of the seat. Phone to ring front desk didn’t work. I checked in late, so even with all that, I just wanted to go to bed and get some sleep. BUT, the bed made a terrible squeaking noise from the headboard everytime I moved... so at midnight, I had to request another room. I was offered another room and $50 off my bill, but that was before I saw the 2nd room...Second Room: Hair left in the bathtub and several places on the bathroom floor. Disgusting. Main room light over the coffee table was out. Carpets are old and look dirty. God knows whats on there. Make sure to wear your sandals.Side note: No air conditioning in the lobby, which was strange. If my two rooms are any indication of the rest of the property, its a run-down property and not maintained very well at that.

Having also stayed at the Omni Rancho, and Hyatt Indian Wells, all area resorts are not created equal. There are beautiful grounds, and the novelty of a duck pin bowling arcade, would make you think the Westin would rate as high as the other two; however, repeated customer service snafus torpedoed our impression.The restaurants are overpriced, and have the same menus. The pool bar forgot our food, and after 1 hour of triple checking and complaining, we finally got our rushed/sparse order of chopped salad and chicken tenders 30 minutes later.... comped, but nothing else for our starving young daughter. Buzzer or texts, anyone?Also, found out days later gift cards for bowling and 10% off charge anything to room-- you just have to know. No outside showers when the chlorinated pools are so far from the rooms is a letdown..... as is the THUD every time anyone in your building opens/closes a door.Check out the other mentioned resorts for a 4 or 5 star experience .

The big draw of this place is the convention center and the golf course. My room had a golf course view, but with the heat there was never a time when I was willing to open the curtains to see it. They thoughtfully provide free transportation to the farther out buildings, which will reduce your time out in the heat. The food on-property is not bad, if a little pricey. Most other restaurants are at least a 10-15 minute cab/uber/lyft ride away, and this is probably by design. Overall the experience was not bad at all, and when the convention I attended comes back here again in the future I will not argue about attending.

If you do not allow them to clean your clubs, they get upset because they expect you to tip them every time. when we finished, them wouldnt even give us a ride back to our car. Another great stay at Westin Mission Hills. So many things to love about the property. Rooms are super spacious, clean and well-appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. So much to do here... especially for the kids, with its club, arcade, and bowling alley.The main pool is jammin with a DJ and lots of activity, while the adult-only pool toward the back of the resort is a nice break from the buzz.Pete Dye Golf Course is in excellent shape. The coffee machine is old, it took forever to brew one cup and then you had to wait 30 mins to brew another one. There was no microwave. The ice machine in our building didnt work. Some of the outlets didnt work and the ones that did work were loose and wouldnt hold on to my phone charger. And no housekeeping services were offered.

On second experience that I invited my family because I told them how great this place was so not so great because when we arrive we were attended by Rebecca the front desk lady that turns out to be the manager. She was not helpful at all her personality lakes was like talking to a wall. If that explains my self not caring one bit of our request the only one thing I will say about her is that she did but my room and family room next to each other. I dont understand why will they have her as a manage there. Her customer service to try to help was a zero. This was honestly my worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I can’t believe the reviews online are so good.The food was abhorrent. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs for $30 and the meatballs were worse than IKEA frozen meatballs. You could just tell they came out of a freezer bag by the taste and texture. Truly horrible.The room was not clean - little gnats in the sink that I washed down and then more returned the next day. The carpet looked filthy.It was so expensive to stay here. The food was so incredibly expensive and was horrible. If I had paid half as much I would still give it one star. Honestly, feels like I got scammed BIG. Everyone there was so nice and hospitable. It is a nice place to go and relax and enjoy some sun and good food. It was a great experience from the beginning. When we checked in James helped us and he was so nice and explained all the great things about the resort. Then we went to the pool area and the staff was so nice. Ray was very friendly and attentive. The pool was very clean and there was plenty of seating area. The bar had the soccer game on which was great. I was able to sunbathe while still watching the game. We also went to the spa and both Monce and Yvonne were so attentive and wonderful. Greeted us with a smile and were able to fit us into the schedule due to some cancellations. I had a facial and it was great! She really took her time and explained what she was going to do and also gave me some tips on skin care. It was a great experience overall :).

We came here for our anniversary weekend and even though there were some less than flattering reviews, Ive always had good experiences at Marriott/Westin resorts (Im an elite member so that shows how often I stay at them).PROS: Check in was fairly quick. Rooms were clean.CONS:1. The hotel was clearly overbooked, from what I was told due to two family reunions and a conference. We werent able to use the main pool until our last morning and spent most of the time at the quiet pool (which was not quiet) since the main pool and second adult pool were both over capacity. They attempted to remedy capacity issue by completely inconveniencing people. The second day when we attempted to enter Las Brisas, we were told they had to verify we were actual guests, rather than let us use our room key to enter the pool, we were told only the front desk could verify us. We waited in line for 30m to only go up to the front where I showed my room key to get a wrist band. Nothing was swiped, no ID was needed, they just handed me a wrist band -- how that is different from swiping to get into the pool, I have no clue. By the time we went back to the pool, it was even busier with no available chairs so we had to walk all the way back to the quiet pool. Not once were we able to get to the slides at the main pool because even on the last morning when we could get chairs, they apparently make you sign a waiver EVERY SINGLE DAY to use the pool which makes no sense whatsoever and I wasnt going to spend another 30m in line to go down a slide. Poolside drinks are only served at the main pool and second adult pool (not the quiet pool) so I had to not only walk to other pools to get a beverage but also wait in insanely long lines for a drink. There was also no drinking water at the quiet pool. Dont even get me started on the way people would save chairs by the pool for hours while people could have actively been using them.2. The hallway of our room had a bucket filled with dirty dishes that stayed out there for the entire 3 days. Room service did come by daily but we had no body wash or lotion our entire stay. Luckily, I brought my own to use but is not something I shouldve had to plan for. There are also no elevators so you have to lug your bags up stairs if youre on the second floor of each building.3. Instead of renewing the key as a mobile key, they made me wait in a 30m line to renew a key for a late checkout. The staff were all friendly and while I understand being understaffed like every other business in this country, I have never had such lagging service.

This hotel is very nice and the staff was great while I was there, but they inexplicably charged me for two nights instead of one. I have called the Westin help line, I have filled out a form on the website that is designated for resolving issues just like this, I have showed the Westin that my room was part of a room block that was only for one night, and still, nobody could or would help me. The best they could do is tell me to leave a message for the GM, which I have done on three occasions with zero response. I have spent HOURS on this and it became a complete waste of my time, so I have simply given up and let the Westin charge me twice what they should have. It is absolutely unbelievable that with the number of people I talked to, nobody could offer any sort of solution. Based on this experience I would never stay here again and I would advise everyone to double-check your bill BEFORE you leave the property.

I don’t know a thing about golf but the people working in the golf shop were sure to tell me how to play and while I was in the bowling alley the manager came up to me and gave me and my dad two free games to play and almost every staff member I’ve made even eye contact with will greet me or ask how’s my day. The facility is set up as a resort for families so if you dont have family or kids and youre looking for someplace quiet that you can enjoy the pool this is not the place for you. Its a beautiful hotel the rooms are nice the service is good the on-site restaurants are perfect except for the screaming children everywhere.Theres no adult section just no way to get away from the families and God bless the families but..The hotel is located off of highway 10 not too far from the casino but it is incredibly far from anything else so if you dont come with a rental car you are pretty much stuck at the hotel.

Absolutely terrible experience. Golf cart broke down on the golf course in the middle of the fairway. We called and they said they would be right there. Never came. We waited 30 mins and walked with my 74 year old mother. We called 3 more times. They finally brought a cart, dropped it and left. No apologies, not a word. It ruined our round and their response was, “we’re busy so can’t do anything for you”. The service was rude and unapologetic.

The rooms felt very dingy, the phone was disgusting, and the AC didnt work. The pool was way overcrowded (Im assuming its because they participate in the resort pass so outsiders can pay to come into the pool) and the water felt like soup water. The lifeguard at the slide blew her whistle so much that when she was trying to get the guards attention in the tower, He didnt realize it. She blew that whistle for tiny kids trying their best to swim out of the way. As soon as they would hit the water, she was blowing the whistle. It was very annoying and I felt bad for the poor kids. We went to fireside lounge for a drink and waited 45 min to be served. We had asked a busser about 15 min in and was told they couldnt help us. I finally got up and had to go find someone. We also had a lady, assuming she was drunk, banging on her back door slider for her kids to let her in the room all night long.

Our 14th year here at the Villas. Sadly we missed two years due to Covid. So nice to be back again. Very pleased with the new room renovations, new TVs & the new face-lift given to all the buildings. The grounds are still beautiful & two weeks we were there a Landscaping company was continuously working. No complaints on service. Friendly check in & newspaper delivered to our villa everyday. Wildly understaffed. hotel missed house keeping all together one day. Dinner and wait staff in main restaurant were largely unhelpful (except for one). But this was due to understaffing which Im sure is something they want to fix. However, the biggest issue is that they keep messing with our bill. We used points to book a suite (paid extra points for the suite) and the hotel keeps charging us 100/night as a Reward redemption fee, which goes against marriot policy. When I addressed this with them in person, they removed it from my bill and charged me the correct amount. However, hours after we left the property, they charged us a second time, created a new bill that was never sent, which included these charges again. When you arrive, you receive a letter from the hotel manager that says if you cant give us an 8,9,10 score for a review, then call them directly. Well, Im a titanium elite member. I stay 75-100 nights a year. I dont see this nonsense at other properties. you are not allowed to charge these fees for points redemption and you are doing so in bad faith. When you call the hotel, you get a run-around. So we disputed the charge and lodged a complaint with marriott. Hotel management, if you want to make this right, it will cost you.

When we finally got the room they wrote the wrong room number on the key card so we had to go all the way to the front desk to fix that. We booked the presidential suite for the weekend. We booked our stay through Expedia which I wouldnt recommend.. The staff was very nice and helpful but there is so much deferred maintenance that I feel we paid way too much! We did get a suite and paid an average of $400 per night which is way too much. The main pool is closed which was not told to us by Expedia although the staff claimed its advertised somewhere. There is no room service or maid service for your safety and I just dont see how they can let the place get so dirty. Overall we relaxed but its definitely not going to be a return visit.

However, there are a few things that havent been great. 1) We paid for a resort view, and our view is a sidewalk and a Bush (definitely not what was advertised). 2) The coffee maker was dirty and had leftover coffee grounds in it. 3) There is no microwave in the room and they want to charge $10 a day for one. We stayed here for Labor Day weekend. We bought the luau but the food wasnt all that great. The chicken and pork tasted like old animals. However, the hula show was a lot of fun and entertaining! I recommend the show!The rooms were very clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, my favorite being the eggs Benedict. I bought a drink at poolside but the girl used black (rotten) mint in my drink. I felt this was unacceptable considering my drink was $14 plus my tip. A Cabana rental was a whopping $400 a day!!! We did enjoy talented live music and dancing on Saturday night.I do recommend this resort because of the staff being so friendly and helpful and the rooms and the grounds being so clean and pretty with the waterfalls and ponds, fish, turtle and rabbits. If the food was tastier I would definitely give this Resort a 5 star.

Only went to the restaurant on Friday night to hear the wonderful singer Chris. Ordered the nachos to start and it took forever for them to come out. They were absolutely disgusting. Expensive drinks and ridiculously priced food but they did comp the starter. We didnt stay for dinner. Cant understand it because they have staff literally on ladders cleaning the dust off of bottles and shelves in the bar yet the service was non-existent. Wouldnt ever go back there again but Chris Maloney is such a good singer its worth it when hes there. Highly recommended not for the place at all but definitely for him

Update July 2022:I came back for 4th of July weekend, on eof the pool got remodeled, with 2 new longer slides. The restaurant offered brunch which was $32 for adults.The place is nice, we just got a little inconvenience in our room (there was dog food on the edge of the walls), but they took care right away. The pool is excellent, kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast is really good, and the servers were really nice, green juice and muffins were served. (complementary) I highly recommend the Crab eggs benedict. The kids had fun at the arcade. You will need a fun card, which you can buy at the machine, located inside the arcade.

We stayed for 5 days in the villas. Awesome property! Activities for all ages, multiple pools, villa had everything we needed, even a washer dryer which was great with kids. Spacious & great for families, full size kitchen & affordable. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was although I am a reward member and booked few months out, we were given a handicap room which made it a little challenging for a family to share the bathroom with no door or enclosure around the toilet. Ha! Next time I will know to note no handicap room online when booking.

I really enjoyed this property and would love to give it 5 stars but the room cleanliness could definitely be improved. While we arguably had one of the worst rooms (downstairs, no view, by the roll cart return) it was still nice! The property itself was well planned and we enjoyed the walk way between amenities. The cornhole, mini putt putt and grills were nice family touches although we didn’t use them. The main pool that was open was fun for my child. Room was spacious and had all we needed. But there were spills on the bathroom floor (yikes) and tub was not scrubbed white and clean and when we made the couch into a bed for my kid there was garbage underneath.

This place is great! The rooms are nice and spacious. The beds are so amazing and I sleep better at the Westin than at home. The pool is awesome-there’s a water slide, jacuzzi and pool bar. The self parking is a pain because if all the spots are taken near your room, you have to walk far... in the scorching heat with no bellman. Also, they don’t have an elevator so ask for a first floor room if that’s an issue. It’s annoying having to carry a bunch of luggage upstairs. The staff is great! I recommend it highly!

This could be a much better resort. The grounds are very beautiful and the main facilities such as the gym and pool areas are well kept. What will disappoint you is the rooms, housekeeping or lack of it and also level of cleanliness. I had my neighbors dirty room service dishes sitting outside my door all day and night. Where to begin? The whole experience was a comedy of errors, misfortunes and disappointments one after another. One problem may be an error but a whole sequence of them indicates a terrible management problem and an inability to provide even a basic level of service. Our requests made, during the reservation process and therefore already paid for, were not fulfilled. The person available made us wait 30 minutes before providing half of what we requested. Attempts to contact anyone in charge led to being on hold on a phone for 40 minutes or more; and remained on hold till we walked to the desk ourselves. The room had minimal items typically in available and cheap hotels. Loose parts in the shower, cabana with non-working fans and exposed electrical wires, ceilings cracked and supposed adults only pool full of children. When your own staff doesnt even know where the electric car charging stations are on the property, it demonstrates the lack of any management oversight and concern for guests. I would strongly recommend NOT booking here.

They said, we will text you once your room is ready. I was an overnight guest at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa. Id recommend staying here. The grounds are beautiful. Its a very large hotel; 40 acres. So there are gold cart shuttles that will take you around the hotel. We are at the Fireside Lounge. The food was good. I will say that the room was dated. It was fine, nothing bad, but the rooms could use some updating. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to the downtown Palm Springs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

I was excited to bring the kids so they can enjoy some time at the pool and have fun with the kid activities they mention online; however it was exactly the opposite.Rooms: decent size but not very clean. Webs on the ceiling and very musty smell.Pools: they have 3 I believe but of course the pool that has the fun slide was closed . This was not communicated to us until the day before we checked in via email. I’m sure they do it purposely as that is their main attraction and they don’t want to allow anyone the chance to cancel their reservations without a fee. We hung out at the open pool but it was just a regular pool. Luckily there was someone around that brought a speaker to make it somewhat enjoyable.Kid arcade and bowling: it looked super fun and would have been had they worked properly or at least had associates that were available to help when we encountered issues with the machines. Front desk did try to help but they could only do so much as they are not familiar with the machines. Not only that but we went when it first opened and one of the tables still had food from the night before.Pond : There is a pond that runs through the resort. The whole area near us looked like a swamp and there was trash inside.Kid fun zone: Again, this place looked fun until we walked up and saw it was closed . It was supposed to be open at noon we went at 12:30 and it still was closed . Called front desk and within 30 min it was open. Sadly they must have to wait until people ask for it to be open. We did check it out but again looked way better in pics then in person. Seats were very dirty, landscape was outgrown, there were no games or activities as promised, the only thing out was the blow up waterslide which my kids loved.I do want to say, I am not very hard to please. All I ask is for a clean hotel and for their amenities to be available and if not, that it would at least mention this online so we would know what to expect. I really believe the pandemic has caused them to be short staffed but this doesn’t mean the resort should lie to people just to get them in. I know I will never come back to this resort.

Overall this place is a great resort with lots of fun things to do. The rooms, or at least the one we stayed in, which was supposed to be a nicer one as it was along the golf course, were quite outdated. Things were clean and the room suited our needs, but the rooms need to be fully renovated in order to make this a top-class resort.Restaurants and food/drinks overall was great, though a little overpriced. Golf course is above average, though again quite pricey - $150.We didnt use them, but they also have free bicycles you can check out and many other nice amenities.One of my favorite things was the arcade with duckpin bowling. Apparently this recently opened, and during COVID, you can rent it out and have the whole place to yourself for a really reasonable rate. I think it was $75/hour for full access to everything.All-in-all, I would stay here again.

Booked a stay and play on Underpar.com, and since no one can write reviews on there to warn people about problems/issues, I have to resort to Google in hopes that they look here too. The booking process is 10000% more complicated than other resorts Ive bought packages from. Their front desk is very kind, but were unable to help and were not trained on how to deal with booking my stay. I emailed their help desk and never received a reply (its been well over a day). Had to make different reservations on their website that is not clear on charges. It appears like they want to charge you AGAIN for booking your stay, but they dont put the charge on the card, its just to hold the reservation. After that, I called the pro shop to book my tee time, and was told there would be a US Kids tournament held on one of the days that Id be staying. The package says 2 days of unlimited golf, but clearly that would be severely impacted by the tournament (which is not mentioned on their calendar). Needless to day, after 2 days of dealing with this, having paid for everything already and it being a dumpster fire of a process to set up, I called and cancelled everything. The reviews on Google seem to deter me from wanting to stay anyway. Hope this helps.

No customer service what so ever. While waiting in line to check in multiple guests where coming to the front desk to complain about various issues. The property manager and staff gave answers to each person that were very unapologetic and didnt remotely come close to solving the problem.Plenty of better Marriott options in the palm springs area. I reserved the golf view paid in advance for the weekend with my wife. Upon checking in they don’t have that room available. Gave us some cheap breakfast coupons and well drinks. To make up for it. That was the first sign. They said they “upgraded” us to a nicer room. Which is far from it. Waited 20 mins and decided to call the front desk, the lady that finally answered seemed annoyed that I was following up on security. After getting off the phone with her, waited another 20 mins. I thought maybe since I used my points to book the room, they thought it was okay to treat me like this “since I didn’t pay them cash or card for it. But I have saved up these points and use Marriott as my preferred work/travel hotel so I can take my family to something nice. This was a waste of points and time. Instead of relaxing all weekend I was more annoyed and agitated.I should have stuck with my gut and reserved the JW Marriott instead of this so called “resort”. Very friendly staff! We are here every year for Camp Yearbook. Despite the 110℉ temp the pools are refreshing yes I said pools . There are three 2 with slides and volleyball net. Surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas with cabanas for rent. The third pool is smaller but adults only do it is very peaceful. The staff is wonderful. Myra goes far beyond her duties to be sure you are comfortable. If I were to complain about anything out would be the popcorn ceiling in our room. It just looks so dated. Not much to complain about.

Had a great time, the grounds are phenomenal, well kept crisp and clean. Dont be surprised by all the wild life, ducks, I think I saw a swan. Exhibits with two massive live rabbits, and indoor wildlife exhibit with live lizards turtles and frogs. The rooms were wonderful and spacious. The bathrooms and shower were also done very well, clean and well kept. I know to most its not a big deal but to avid travelers the shower head felt like warm rain falling on you in the tropics. Some places have a really high or low water pressure and it makes a difference. Some things can be spaced out so be prepared to walk, but it is peaceful and enjoyable and the hope is that is what you came for and probably what you need. The staff is beyond kind and attentive to your needs, I dont know if that is just a desert culture or a part of good training and a taken care of staff. Either way I had a wonderful time.

I took a star away because of the cheep skate daily parking fee. We’re there on vacation - they are in the middle of the desert - we all need cars. That was just tacky to charge $15 a day. The grounds and pools were all very nice though. Restaurants were both just average at best and we ate off resort or prepared something in the villas. Played the Pete dye course a couple times. Was really nice but not a desert course and also not one of Pete dye’s more challenging tracks - definitely a resort course just a really nice one.

Unfortunately my husband injured his back on our first day in Palm Springs, so we were unable to play golf or tennis, but we enjoyed relaxing in the pool and watching beautiful sunsets on the balcony. Im staying at the hotel for a bridge tournament that is held here every December. Ive come to it three or four years now. The hotel rooms are in a number of small buildings a arrayed along the golf course. Many of the rooms have golf course views, which are delightful. This year, I have a room with no View, but Im still enjoying it very much. The room is large, with two queen beds, a large table with chairs which can serve as a desk, a sideboard / bar which has a coffee maker how to trade with ice bucket and glasses, a dresser with a large screen flat TV. The bathroom has a double sink and a separate room with toilet and tub / shower. Everything is up to date and tasteful. Throughout by several days stay, the staff has been very helpful. The convention facility where the bridge games are held is comfortable and conscientiously maintained by the staff.

This review is specifically for the pool area. We spent the day at Westin in a cabana and Im really disappointed by the lack of service. To me the Westin name has always represented a certain level of luxury and this was not the case on Saturday. Only twice did someone come by to check on us and our lunch dishes were never removed even though 5 different pool staff people walked by. The dishes were nicely stacked right where they could easily be seen. Sadly the food selection was lacking in quantity and quality. We were also supposed to have the use of 2 chairs next to our cabanas, which we did use in the beginning. However after swimming for awhile, we came back to an employee removing the towels and she never returned so a group of people came up and took our chairs. As a cabana guest I shouldnt have to chase people out of chairs Ive paid for the use of. As a Starwood preferred guest, I prefer to use the resorts & hotels associated with it but I will not return this resort. There are plenty of other fabulous places nearby to choose from with amazing service.

My wife and I stayed at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort when we drove down for Coachella. What I saw of the facility was very nice but I cant really comment on all the amenities as we spent a lot of our time at the music festival. The pool area seemed about what you would expect for that class of place (several of them throughout the property, misters setup by/in the cabanas). Our room was quite large and the bed was firm and comfortable - better than most hotels Ive stayed at. With all the space they allotted to the room and wash room I would have preferred a larger shower as the one in our room was smaller than ours at home and we dont even have what I would consider a large shower. My wife and I generally shower together and it was quite difficult to do that there. We did enjoy and make use of the back patio area off of our room (ground floor) which was fairly private.

We stayed in the hotel side of this resort.(It has villas as well) the resort itself is well laid out with multiple two story buildings and well appointed rooms. This resort has 3pools. Plus access to the pools available on the villa side. Restaurant on site was great(we only ate Breakfast there). Pools and pool staff were also great. The reason for the 3star instead of 4star rating is to do with Management continually messing up our breakfast package and we continually had to fix it almost Everyday. When I am told dont worry we will have it fixed for you I expect that to mean you will fix it. Not just remove the charge and have the same issue the next day. My vacation and the property were great, but this constant issue left me with a sour taste and I will have to question whether I should use this Westin property again.

At the end they offered me a glass of Champaign, wasnt a glass. Cheap plastic cup with cheap Champagne. I only had two sips. The facial room was hot. Spa building was nice as were the 3 counterstaff on hand even though it was a 4:30 appt and you could tell they were looking to leave. We stayed here for our anniversary, and it was so beautiful. The grounds were immaculate and we wished we were staying longer to just sit and relax and enjoy the beauty. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our reservation included breakfast, which was a delicious buffet with eggs benedict, scones, made-to-order omelets, pancakes, fruit, potatoes, and more. We hope to return soon!

I have played more than 100 different golf courses in my life and this is the first time I have paid so much to play on such lousy greens to tell you I have already seen tee boxes better than their green. And the roughs I think even on the pga tour they dont have roughs that hard. very bad experience I hope that next time I will have a better experience because the design of the course is very nice.

We just got back from our weekend getaway at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa. I cannot say enough how fantastic our experience was at this hotel. The service was impeccable. Shout out to David and Abram at the Adult Pool who made our cabana experience so incredibly wonderful and provided phenomenal service. Thank you to Jose, Jose Luis, Maria, and Enrique in the Pinzimini restaurant and the fabulous bartender whos name I unfortunately didnt catch that made me an amazing cocktail. Thank you to Mike at the clubhouse and Erin at the front desk. The amenities at this resort are fantastic: shuttles around the resort, shuttle to the casino and back, golf club storage at the club house, excellent driving range with balls set out in neat stacked pyramids, fantastic pools and lounge areas. We even were greeted with a bottle of sparkling wine and fresh berries and chocolate sauce as a way to thank us for our Gold Elite member status and to honor the celebration of our 11 year wedding anniversary. We will be back again!

In years past, this place was good. At times, really good. Either we caught them on a bad week, or they have spiralled downward quickly. Customer service from the moment we drove into the property was non-existent. Pitiful actually. Plenty of excuses and offers of refunding trivial amounts of money, but nothing done to improve it. We were there for a week and even though it wasnt near capacity, it was operated like a roadside motel.

I attended a convention this last weekend. I love locally in the community so I didnt stay in a guest room. The grounds are immaculate and the convention space is impressive. There are a variety of meeting rooms that will provide just the right ambiance and hospitality necessary for events of all types and sizes. This is a resort hotel and find the amenities to be exceptional.

A gem in Palm Springs! Golf, pools, tennis, pickle ball, games, and more! Quiet and located away from the bustle, you still have easy access to the restaurant scenes, galleries, and museums, plus the local region such as the Sky Tram, Palm Desert, and Joshua Tree National Park. Guest services were top-notch, curteous, and professional. A great place to enjoy with family, friends, or that special someone!

GREAT property! Wonderful location, very pretty, very nice rooms! The fitness facility is TOP NOTCH! One of the best I have ever had the pleasure of using! There is nothing within walking distance form the hotel, but the property has good dining and a small convince shop. I will stay here again.

I had the worse experience at rancho mirage, my purse was stolen from inside my locked room during my stay (with most of my valuable items). This was raised to the lobby, to the security of the hotel & later through mariott bonvoy. I also had the location of my stolen airpods but they didnt provide any justification, didnt even bother to check the cameras or give us any report about the stolen items. If you want to stay in a hotel that keeps your items safe when you are not in the room and provides customer care when unforeseen circumstances take place, I strongly advise against this one.

Long review warning! I dont always post reviews, but when I do they are THOROUGH.Sooooo- for the first time in over 5 years, we found ourselves child-free for over a week. Woohoo! A customer of mine decided to gift me with a weekend away and asked me where I wanted to go. I said the Palm Springs/Desert area. I mentioned three hotels (none of which were this one) but my customer seemed to know exactly where HE thought we should go and he booked the room and massages to boot. He specifically said, The pools at this place are sick! Sweet!We arrive and walk in, immediately greeted by huge signs in the lounge announcing a full renovation of hotel rooms and the sick pool that was currently an oasis turned construction zone. My heart sunk. We found out that there were two additional (tiny) pools to use. However, the adult pool was now an all ages pool, as the main pool was dead to the world. Our large, spacious, clean (although slightly outdated) room sat right outside one of the pools, which was jam-packed will a gazillion people. It became wildly apparent that we were at a family resort, and that our super sexy weekend away was a distant dream. Still, we decided to explore the grounds and make the most of what was quite a disappointing start.We found an arcade with some games, a mini bowling alley and a bar (beer and wine only). We grabbed a local IPA and a glass of chardonnay and started to settle into our weekend.While at Pins and Pints, we met Chris (the bartender) and Tracey (a manager)- we spoke to them briefly and discussed dinner plans, agreeing to try their restaurant the next evening. Chris was attentive and easy to talk to, while Tracey was genuine, sweet and appreciative of our dialogue.Saturday, we spent a few hours at the pool, where I enjoyed an adult Refined Arnold Palmer and Matt had a few local craft beers. We also enjoyed the carne asada nachos, and stood in the 4 feet end of the pool while grabbing some sun. As the pool started to fill up, we decided to go back to our room and relax to the sounds of the pool DJ.We decided to spend a little time at the Fireside Lounge before our 7:00 reservation, where we saw Chris and Tracey again. Chris was as attentive and friendly as ever, and Tracey came over, greeting us by name. At 6:00, a gentleman who had been setting up on stage began singing, and he was GREAT. He would sing a classic song, followed by a modern song that he would croon to, working the room and ensuring that all guests 18 to 80 were entertained.Tracey walked us to the restaurant and then to our table, where our server, Ariel introduced herself. She spent just enough time with us to let us know that we were in friendly, capable hands. She was knowledgeable about the menu, articulate, funny and unassuming. We started chatting with the couple sitting near us as well, and really enjoyed the casual conversation. After we ordered the calamari (which was incredibly fresh and flavorful), Ariel recommended the branzino (delicate white fish) which was served with root vegetables and fingerling potatoes. Matt ordered the ribeye with black garlic mashed potatoes. I ordered a glass of Grgch Cabernet that paired perfectly with my dish. While at our table, discussing pets with Ariel, her co-worker, Lance, came over to chat and we realized that we knew each other from a decade earlier. It was a great meal, and a great evening! The following morning we enjoyed 90 minute massages (Shelah is life-changing) before heading home.Summary: if youre only going for the pool, wait til November. If you want to be spoiled by amazing staff, who are working harder than ever to make your experience great, go now, and enjoy the food, drinks and entertainment that make for our 5 star experience!

Beautiful place and an amazing golf course but if you are going to have a nice place you better have nice customer service. The golf pro shop workers were extremely rude. The people who loaded our cart were being very disrespectful. Everyone who worked for the golf club couldnt be bothered to be helpful yet the people who were doing course maintenance and the woman who drove us to and from the parking lot were really nice. The restaurant workers were really nice as well and fun to talk to! If I acted like these golf club workers did to us I wouldnt have a job.

Have stayed 9+ times over past 3 years. Excellent staff and clean, pretty villas with elegant furnishings. Theyre always updating interiors which are impeccably clean. Amazing pools and grounds. Healthy meal options @ restaurant. Super family-friendly, but also great for a romantic or last-minute golf trip getaway too. Secure entry and staff always make us feel happy to return. Our #1 Go-to place to stay in the desert!

Pool service was just OK, my server was great but the bar lady was so rude with a bad attitude, when I asked her a question about the menu I felt like I was bothering her. She gave my group HORRIBLE SERVICE. The grounds could be cleaner but they were nice. Overall was a nice resort, a good value for the money. I would had gave 5 stars easy but Just wish the pool people were a little better.

This hotel is under new management, I believe as of April 1st. The service at the pool bar was unsatisfactory for a Westin property. Our 4 teenage kids had cash for shakes and the bartender was rude making a comment that they didnt have enough money, and told them they didnt have the flavor requested, but the next guest asked for the same flavor and was given no problem. Being Bonvoy members for over 10 years and traveling all over the world at their properties, never has our family been treated so rudely. Bartender had tattoos and sandy blonde hair and tall in height. I hope families who spend a good amount at these properties, are treated with the respect they deserve.

Staff are all amazingly friendly, amenities are nice, rooms could be cleaner and use an update but generally clean enough to be comfortable and restful. The main pool could be bigger and the adults only pool could be a little cleaner but generally adequate for an hour or two poolside. Overall, a good resort. I would recommend and would come again

Worst vacation ever! Beware of Thiefs...Make sure you lock up all the valuables in a safe all the time. Security has no cameras or any idea or solutions...Our nightmare started with Thanksgiving vacation with the family with 5 rooms in building 8. First day of arrival we check in and relaxed and gather together in one room and spent 2-3 hours (Between 4 - pm). Return back to our room and all the cash in my wallet gone! Wifes Cash and Bank Card in her wallet gone! My watch gone! My daughters watch gone! They even took our Toiletry Bag...First, the complex has no security gate or security to check you in order to enter the Hotel (Not like residence next complex). So, anybody off the street can walk in and no cameras on site.Entry doors to the Hotel room are old and did not close automatically, you have to pull/push to make sure it closes, and the balcony is cover with Hedges/Bush so perfect for anyone to walk right up to the glass door.Bottom line, the Hotel Security could not find out who came into our room while we were right next door for 2-3 hours if Theft was inside jobs or outside intruder.If you have plan to visit this Hotel, Make sure to lock you doors, store all your valuables in a safe all the time and be vigilant.
