We found The Well recently. We travel a bit to get here because its so well laid out and designed. The building is beautiful with tremendous amount of room and very comfortable seating. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food and coffee is delicious. We will keep coming back because its such a comfortable place to come spend our afternoon.

Im from San Diego and came to visit my hometown and was brought to this hidden gem. Loved the atmosphere and plenty of places to sit even found a quiet nook with cute floral wallpaper to sip tea. Check the special featured drinks at the front. Burger and fries were delicious (served till 2pm) and servers were attentive and friendly. Good job to the owner for opening a new place

Each time I visit The Well, it is an amazing experience! Today was especially good! I thank the Lord for the servants hearts and the Love of Christ that is shown and felt in the atmosphere here. I ordered the cold brew with oatmilk and vanilla. I also ordered The chocolate chip cookies they were really good. I just wish they were bigger as they were really tasty, and I wanted more thankfully I ordered two. I enjoyed the setting of the well especially the sofas It makes me feel like I’m at home.

Their cinnamon toast is sooo good! I had a white mocha it was a little weak on the coffee strength for me but I’m always willing to give them another try and just ask for an extra shot. The space is really cozy perfect to work/study from there. Plenty of seating also plenty of parking. Recently I saw they had outdoor seating which is always nice for the nice n sunny days!

I love The Well. Everyone is so friendly and always remembers me. The hot tea is a must if you plan on sitting and relaxing for awhile. The pizza is huge and can totally be shared but my favorite is the avocado toast. It is so tasty and perfect when paired with their sweet white mocha. I haven’t found anything that I didn’t love. Great ambience and my new favorite spot to sit, read a book and relax with a nice drink or lunch. A must to check out for all locals!

Wonderful people, wonderful energy! The food is 🤤🤤🤤 for basic breakfast. They make one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ bagel! The coffee was delicious too! I also got to be a little picky with my drink, they complied happily and I always end up having good conversation. I’ve been here 3x in the past couple of months, every experience as wonderful as the last. I was asking about their art amenities, and they took the time to show me around and explain all they had to offer! I love this coffee shop it’s my Go to for a relaxing place to enjoy when I’m passing time. I will probably always go here, and I always recommend it. Never once have I gotten bad treatment, coffee, tea, or food! I’m going on and on, but I really can’t say enough about how amazing it is to find this hidden gem in town! I can’t believe it took me so long to find it! I was too excited to consume my order so I have no photos 😭

4/19/ 24- Im happy they redeemed them selves gave 8 slice pizza and had HELLA CHEESE 🧀 ❤️3/21/24- So I go here all the time & I order all the time over the phone for pick up. I do love this place, however Im very unsatisfied this time around the cheese pizza that we ALWAYS EAT was cut with only 7 slices the person this time gimpped us on a slice like how are you going to cut the pizza in 8 slices every single time then go and woops cut it all weird because my husband & I always get this for lunch sounds silly but we was expecting to both have a 8 slice pizza we both get 4 slices. Then when I go in I have seen the salads are HUGE GIGANTIC so I was like let me order the Chicken Ranch salad. Its a $15 salad & the to go container puts it to shame. So if you want a salad from The Well do not order it to go because you GET HALF THE AMOUNT. And they dont provide napkins, or forks so this is why I gave a 1 star. I was very very disappointed 😞.!!!!Cute adorable little coffee and food got the slicede chie latte & pesto. 5/10/23- THERE RANCH IS MY NEW 🥇 FAVORITE when you was done with my Fancy gig pizza 🍕 I drank it so good There kombucha they put it in a fancy glass 🍷.

This is an extraordinary place… not for the food or coffee, but the meaning behind its culture and what their purpose is. I was given a behind the scenes type tour and I am truly inspired. It’s not something one can explain, so to experience the birth of this place… come see for yourself.Oh and I did indulge in their Tomato Soup & Grilled cheese sandwich.. 💯perfection

Everything is just great at The Well. I regularly attend a mens Bible study group here and we really enjoy everything about the place. The only drawback that I can even mention is that it can get very loud at times when really busy. Thats just how it goes when people get together in a spot that they really like. Highly recommended to check out and regularly visit.

I dont understand they high ratings or reviews, I find the employees dont have a lot of personality, not rude but not very outgoing and maybe its Stockton or todays society but no thank you, your welcome, lack of manner that is why I have not returned today was my 3rd time trying again and I am NOT impressed. I am not going back and I work super close, but not feelin it with this place at all. They offer me 50% off my next 10.00 order but I deleted the text and email, there app has also never worked for me, and I have asked them about it and I feel like when I ask them, they look like a dear caught in headlights. Oh and I also bought a latte one day and waited but then finally left without getting it, I paid for it but was done, so just left and dont care about the loss, just wanted to leave.

Gorgeous Space, great ambience, super friendly staff that make you feel welcome.TLDR: Don’t come here for coffee. However they seem to have a lot of cool events.Unfortunately the one star is because I’ve now tried four different drinks from this place hoping to find something I liked and they’ve all been terrible. Foodwise I’ve only had the breakfast burrito, but for $9 it just wasn’t worth the (3) ingredients.Hopefully they hire some experienced baristas soon, that’s really all this place is missing. I really wanted to like this place.

I was stunned when I walked in to avery spacious cafe. The wecome sign outside was inviting. The ambiance is so relaxing and put a smile on my face. Their avocado toast with eggs is a must try. It was my first time trying oat milk on my latte and it was fantastico! The owner and the young lady was excellent! These people here are family! The atmosphere at the well is always super welcoming. David the owner and all of the people there are always willing to give people a tour of the building and share their mission to anyone who walks in. This place is a super safe place, you can come and work quietly on your computer, drink coffee and read a book, and still have so many loving people around you at all times. The people here truly care about the customers and always greet you with a friendly face!!

I only found out about The Well thanks to a wonderful coworker who showed me an amazing looking burger and fries she bought here. So I finally decided to get a burger from here for my husband, since Im vegetarian I figured there wouldnt be anything for me BUT SURPRISE! The Well has Beyond Burgers!! I was so happy to find out I could eat a delicious burger too! Well we just finished our burgers and I noticed theres no photos in the reviews of the burgers so Im adding a photo of mine. My husband got the Stocktonian which has jalapeños and bacon and chipotle sauce, he loved it. Theyre better than any other burger Ive ever had. And the fries too!The service I received was wonderful and the ladies were super friendly. Even though there was a little bit of a wait, I prefer to wait for good food, it tells me everything is cooked with care and well done, which it absolutely was.The atmosphere looked very relaxing and there was a full house. Ill be back!

This place is a gem. If I was a local, I would definitely make this my regular spot. The staff are extremely nice and genuinely so. The space is very cool, lots of older random items that are vintage and I like the mixture of different styles of chairs and couches. It feels very homey. And the food, oh, my God, dont get me started. The BEC sando is the thing dreams are made of. The sourdough bread they use was so soft and perfectly toasted and I liked that the crust wasnt super hard and crunchy. It was cooked just right. The lemonade was also delicious. While they ran out of the breakfast burritos pretty fast, my partner was happy with the other sandwich he got. I honestly dont remember what his was because I was obsessed with mine. I would go here over a Starbucks any day.

Thursday June 1, 2023 was my first visit to The Well. The staff was incredible, welcoming, beyond polite, and attentive. Old fashioned hospitality. The Coffee, Pizza, and Brownies are delicious. The venue & space is beautiful and collaborative. Can somewhat get loud. The service is kind & pleasant overall. Coffee is good but highly disappointed in the berry scones. They have significantly decreased in size (like double decreased). They are barely the size of 2-2 1/2 of the Starbucks petit scones put together when they were once similar size to a croissant! The Well is my absolute favorite spot in Stockton. Being from the Bay Area, I have a certain taste and its hard to please being in the central valley. Finding The Well on Yelp was a godsend. Ive worked out of The Well for 3 consecutive days and Im addicted.Everything is perfect for me. I requested a special order, basically a cortado with a splash of lavender and the girls made it perfectly the first try. The second day I had tea and it was absolutely perfect in its steeper. I loved it all. Today I requested my lavender cortado and with it being early for me, I forgot how to order it... LOL. But, the girls remembered and it was perfect.The Well reminds me of a few coffee spots in the Bay. It makes me miss home... and I dont know if thats a good thing... LOL.

Food: I am unable to eat wheat and usually do not have an option when eating pizza at smaller restaurants. So, when I learned that The Well had a gluten-free option for the crust (cauliflower), I had to try it out. I ordered the chipotle chicken pizza and it was the best gluten-free crust I have eaten. The crust was not dry, brittle, or rigid like many of the other cauliflower crusts I have eaten. I was able to fold it like a New York-style slice of pie and it did not break in half. The toppings on the pizza were delicious - not too overwhelming where you could not enjoy the pizza and just the right amount to be able to taste the crust. My friend ordered the fig pizza (gluten-free) and I tasted a slice and it also had the best flavors of sweet and savory with the drizzle of olive oil.Cost: The cost of the pizza was less expensive than I have spent on cauliflower crust pizzas everywhere else in town. I am definitely going back for this option.

Honestly I should be rating one star. After trying their drip coffee, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to return to Starbucks. Don’t come here if you want to continue enjoying bad coffee, they will transform your low-quality tastebuds for life. Also, the food is nuts. Try the Chicken Pesto Sando.
