Don’t rent. There’s a long list of reasons why, the top being they’re money hungry and lack maintenance! From the broken canopy hitting my window, to the side gates allowing homeless to access the building, the door glass door frame being broken, all the fire doors having the wrong and Mickey Moused handles, the maintenance requests being push out, or incorrect, pee on the main stairway, lack of canopy at the pool during the summer, missing grill piece, incorrect handle on the back entry gate, unvented stove top (just fans the smoke around the apt but it’s the cheapest compliance).Also don’t use Jetty. Not only does the Verandas not know how it works but you’ll end up paying out more than the security deposit directly to Verandas. Guess they have that going for them.Month to month after lease ends will be increased by 10%. So if you find you don’t like it within the allotted time frame get out, and if you miss that, be prepared to move out 1 month before your lease ends.The garden is empty, but overgrown with rose vines somehow. And the 2nd floor neighbors with dogs will wash urine into the main center hall of the courtyard despite being told not to.This is definitely not luxury! There’s nothing luxurious about the outdated finishes and sub par management.They’re so cheap, they have 1 maintenance man for several locations! So your request will take 2 months, with 2 attempts and THEN you’ll get the wrong size tub faucet installed!It’s NOT pet friendly, because half the apartment is carpeted. They don’t allow dogs in the one in building areas low garden/rocks. They don’t refill the dog bags and only have one location at the back/garage entrance. The garage entrance call system doesn’t work which, but luxury.Your bikes will get stolen, despite the police station and security that ONLY starts at 8pm. Items will also get stolen outside your door. The camera system doesn’t work, but then noticed the cameras got redacted.The building IS NOT handicapped friendly as the elevators are down frequently and for lengths of time. I feel for my past neighbors.Someone parked in my tandem, the first time I blocked them in because I was not about it having my kids with me. There was NO effort to check the plate, which is info given at time of move in. I then pointed it out to check the plate and it wasn’t in the system. All vehicles should be accounted for!The next time, same car parked in my spot. I blocked them again but this time unlike the last, they didn’t try leaving and the car was there for 24+ hours. I was told we could tow after 2. Of course, no effort was made to tow until we called and said we would call to tow (which it has to be the manager to avoid personal fees). When she did, call and the tow came, he called her. She was in the office! I went out to find him nearly leaving and stopped him. He said she wasn’t answering the phone. So I ran into the office, her off the phone to tell her he was there.This happened to another neighbor on a weekend and she called the managers cell, no answer. I called her in front of the neighbor and she answered. But because it was the weekend and she doesn’t lie on the property, tough luck!The building itself is just an overall safety hazard.There’s no couch in the courtyard and the pool area gets infested with ankle biters. Here’s a hint, do preventative spraying for those and wasps!Oh but they put a new decal at the back entrance and the S is upside down! 🙃

Awful leasing manager. They did not show up for our tour time or answer our calls. The area surrounding this apartment was disgusting. There’s a strip club right across the street, broken glass all over the sidewalks, and the lobby smelled like dog pee.

Roaches absolutely everywhere and management wont do anything about it, ive seen over 500 roaches total living here in my apartment alone, i walk in my bathroom and i saw at least 6-7 at first glance and dont get me started on the kitchen, in the cabinets, ice cube machine, water dispenser on the counter, even inside the fridge, all of the pantries, in the dishwasher, everywhere. There was at least 3-4x the amount of roaches i saw anywhere else. we had extermination come in, took out items from cabinets and left for the night only for them to do absolutely nothing, the next day right after they left there was still roaches lmfao, no matter how much you keep it clean theres still pests. Even the other neighbors complain about the roaches, there was never any bugs until the manager changed. It makes it unlivable here and management knows they can get away with not fixing it even though its a health code violation and california law deems all bug and pest infestations as uninhabitable. Which means i could sue, please fix the bug problem theres a reason why theres always people moving in and out constantly + the rent is always being raised

Ive called multiple times 7 + and left messages to get clarity on a questionable bill after I moved out.The bill was for over $900 for 10 days in September. I moved out August at the end of my lease.No one returned my calls. Ive had urgent emails sent to them aswell from the agency as I recieved notice that the bill would be sent to collections if I didnt pay.The agency said theyd CC me (never happened) and one guy hung up on me as I was kindly stating the inquiry.I left a message with CoresMgmt (no response)And consistently tried the front office (no response)Id go in person, but I am far away from that placeI think they were counting on collections to get the money regardless.Pretty shady, as are the blanket responses to the bad reviews.Cores, Call me to clarify and I may remove this rating.

Leasing agent has terrible customer service. Scheduled a tour for 3:30. When I arrived at the property no one was in the leasing office. Maintenance informed me that the leasing manager who personally scheduled the tour herself for 3:30 went on lunch and won’t be back for an hour. After waiting for 45 minutes the manager calls and said she had an emergency meeting which turned out to be a lie. I scheduled time off of work for this. This is super unprofessional

Weve been living at The Verandas for the past two months and the experience has been great so far. Zunday, the property manager did her very best to assist us in getting our apartment and is always friendly. The apartment is nicely designed and even comes equipped with a smart TV and 2 door refrigerator, a rarity for most California apartments at this price. Overall, an amazing experience.

I love it here !!! zunday is the building manager and she was so helpful to me and my family I just renewed my lease for another year ! and sam the maintenance man is always on top of any problem that may come up . the property is always clean. my only recommendation is to stay on the 3rd floor you don’t want loud neighbors over top of you . however the apartments are huge with lots of space and zunday made sure when I moved in I had new appliances !!!

We had both our cars broken into within the same month. The cameras dont work and have to many blind spots. Corporate office has not tried to fix them at all. We hear loud music/noise and bass all night even after midnight. Theres always residents arguing or fighting outside. The building may look nice but its a different story when you move in. Zunday is a good manager but we still cant wait to move out!

The Verandas has been my home for 3 years now. I have a 3 bedrooms. Grounds are well maintained with a knowledgeable maintenance staff with a quick response time in fixing things.The manager Zunday is the greatest! Always smiling friendly wanting to lend a helping hand.With a pool and bbq area it is perfect for everyoneCome check out the 2 and 3 bedrooms unit here, they also have beautiful lofts and sundeck.Way to go and thank you!

Worst most unprofessional place ever. Everything we were told in the phone making the appointment was a lie. Then the manager took a call as we were walking back from looking at the apartment in front of us to explain how they could get the apartment, When we were discussing move in dates.
