I didnt know each UPS store is privately owned so i did not ask prices. BIG MISTAKE. In AG they charge 13 cents a copy . These people charged 49 cents a copy even though i told her they are black and white not color. She would not change it nor give me my money back. She charged 1.20 per sheet to fax. My bill came to 37.50! In AG its only 10.00. I was totally ripped off by these people. Never use them !

My 82 yr old mother wanted to ship a very sentimental, one of kind, painting to her grandson in N. Carolina. This was on a Tues. morning. She was told it would arrive there by the following Monday. There were no updates on the tracking # other than a shipping label had been created. On Thursday, she called the store and was told it had been shipped and to wait a couple of days to check on the tracking. This was obviously a lie as on Saturday we went to the store and saw the painting still waiting to be packaged. When my Mom asked why she was told that 2 days prior, it had been shipped, and it was still sitting there, she got a very aggressive and defensive attitude from Jose. Not once did he address the issue but accused my Mom of being disrespectful and coming at him with attitude. I was quiet up until that point, but you are NOT going to verbally attack my Mom. There was no resolution at that point, other than for Jose to say that his manager would be in the store on Monday. I dont think I will be waiting until Monday, as I plan to return and get the painting from them and take it somewhere else that can get the job done that my mom paid over $200 for them not to do.

This is worst of any UPS or FedEx store I have patronized. I learned from UPS Support that each franchise runs by its own rules. This franchise uses bait-and-switch and deflection. They lie, and they deny responsibility, and the pricing is absurd ($19.00 to send a letter across the country with an estimated 7-day delivery time). Use FedEx…I’ve never been disappointed. Avoided these grifters.

Ever since the new owner took over this location maybe a year ago they have significantly increased their prices. Few months back I just had a few manila envelopes I needed to ship out. The manager or owner rude guy didnt even weigh or look to see where its going and he told me it was $17.50, I looked at him and said your crazy, you didnt even weigh it and his response was he didnt need to. I left and it took it down the street to USPS and it cost me $5.75. This new owner is scammer just lying to get as much money out of you as he can

Was returning some Amazon packages. Asked if they could tape it up. They said no but that they could sell me some tape. Fine. The tape was small, over $7 and it was some of the cheapest tape I have ever used. It keeps ripping every time you try to unstick it. You figure that they would have offered to tape it up and refund the money after seeing and they themselves experiencing the struggle but no such thing. Poor customer service. Being a shipping company you figure they would have better tape. Do not buy their tape.

Dont you hate it when youve been going someplace for years and a new owner takes over and gives you the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service and just flat out rude. It wasnt to just me, I heard him being rude to others in the store. You might want to think about a job where you dont deal with people. I recommend a grave digger job.

Just zoomed in mintues before closing.Lexie was so friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient! Got my UPS label printed (one for inside the box and one on the outside) sealed the box, attached the label, and left with my receipt. Staff is friendly, but the notary service used a seal from the nearby Kings County instead of San Luis Obispo County where this office is located. My application is sensitive to the county of the seal so I had to redo. I am flagging this so other customers would take note.[Update] Owner of the office gave me a call and clarified that the office does have the notary seal of both the San Luis Obispo County and the Kings County, and a customer could have requested to have either seal. For this extra clarification and kind followup, I am giving this office back the 5 stars. As a customer I will remind myself to ask about the county of seal. Since many customers might be unaware of the difference just like me, I wish that the office could explicitly mention the county of seal.

I rented a box over a year ago which means I go in there almost everyday. I tend to receive a lot of packages so I have a lot of interaction with the staff. The staff provides consistent excellent service! They are friendly, responsible, and helpful. This positive professional attitude even prevailed throughout this entire pandemic. Ive rented from other ups stores before and never received this level of excellent customer service. Thank you UPS!!!

Just use another source for package drop off or shipping. Shipped a package UPS 3 day select on 12/13/22 its now 1/20/23 and my package was finally returned to me. No help what so ever from this stores staff contacted them via phone and in person. Wont refund for a package shipped from their store that wasnt delivered. Terrible customer support

This staff is always helpful. My girlfriend and I always drop off our fragile items for them to pack and ship out. All 4 shipments we have done so far have all made it to their destinations safe and intact.Only missing a star for the business because we do wish the shipping costs were a little lower, but that is out of the employees control. Overall, great service.

I dont understand all the bad reviews for this location. I have nothing but positive experiences at this UPS Store. Even when they are busy the ladies there are good multi-taskers taking care of drop off packages while finishing a shipment. Ive had them pack many of my art projects and they arrive at their destination intact. Keep the good work up ladies.

UPS Store Niblick Road Sept. 2021 Employee did not know how to operate the copier and started to tear my documents trying to get them out of document feeder! Then when I said be careful, she raised her voice at me. Manager came over and did nothing to reprimand the employee. Then manager said they could not get copier to work properly, and they did not have permission to power down the copier and restart it, when I had to instruct them to do so . ????? Truly awful treatment toward customers and my documents. Also when I email them to print docs, they usually cannot find the emails! Incompetent and RUDE, logistical problems galore. Go to the Golden Hill Road UPS for trained and professional employees, manager there is helpful and kind. Stay away from Niblick Road UPS, they do not know how to run a professional business.

Attitude unbelievable. Went in 5/6 for notary and 2nd day send to Florida. Over weekend received message that parcel delayed. Went back to store today and different staffer told us that all refunds are waived due to current situation. Delay caused by “mechanical issue”. Led to believe that no refund was/is ups’ current policy. Called corporate and advised no such policy but they can’t help as it is a local franchisee decision. If you want good service go somewhere else!

They raised their prices during the Holiday Season according to the clerk that waited on me today 12/16/2020. The owner is taking advantage of people. Plus, if they are going to hike up their prices then they should have more then one clerk working! Had to wait 30 minutes.Update: I just realized the clerk added on to the dimensions in order to charge more. I measured my package and it was 25x14x8 which would make the cost $45.69. She added 1 inch all around: 26x15x9. which cost $57.61.

If I could give them less than one star I would. They are downright dishonest. From bait and switch to not even admitting they packed my item. Do not use. I received a quote for the package and they wanted to charge me 78 dollars more even though they had all the info. They took my package boxed it up and it was damaged. They immediately came up with reasons not to cover the damages and would not inform ups of how they boxed it. Crazy.

Shipped a prepaid package to be held for a pickup. They charged my client $5.00 dollars to pick it up.They called this a receiver fee. The conversation between my recipient and myself was an interesting one. Went in for Notary service. Waited in line, went to counter, said I needed to get something notarized. The person at the counter says to me at 1:30, “I’m the notary, but I have to take my lunch now; I’ll be back at 2:30 and here until 5:00”. I shook my head, said thank you for your help and walked out the door.Lousy customer service, she didn’t even ask what I had to be notarized, it was one page, not exactly real estate sale docs. It would have taken very little time, I guess lunch was more important.Won’t ever go here again.

Special privileges for mailbox holders. Waiting in line not required Those who have a mailbox walk directly to the counter, in front of customers waiting in line. Nothing posted. So the customers waiting in line just stand there thinking people are cutting in front them and the employees are ignoring it. Inquiry revealed owner is aware and is ok with the awkwardness this creates.

Tried to return an Amazon purchase as I have done numerous times before. They told me it had to be boxed for mailing ((depending upon what code Amazon sends you, you may have to box it up or just take it in and they do that-I’m not sure how you can tell). I took it home and returned the next day with it boxed up to mail and they said they printed a label when I was in yesterday but threw it away so I now need to cancel the return with Amazon and start it over. I telephoned to inquire about a Notary Service. I was told the notary would be out from 12:30 to 1:00pm so get here before then. I arrived at 11:45 am. No sign of the Notary. I was told he/she would, perhaps be back by 12:00 noon. at 12:20pm I left in disgust. No one knew where the person was or when he/she would be back. Could they call the person, NO. Downright unprofessional and a waste of my time.
