I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your UPS Store. I went to have my passport notarized, which should have been a straightforward process. Unfortunately, the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful throughout the interaction.In contrast, I visited another UPS Store where the staff were efficient and courteous, completing the notary service quickly and professionally.I was particularly taken aback by the manager’s unnecessary comment asking if everyone could communicate with him, despite the fact that we all spoke English fluently. This added to an already unpleasant experience, and I found his attitude to be completely unacceptable.I trust that this is not representative of UPSs standards.

Every single person that works here is the most friendly and helpful people behind a desk I’ve ever met. I have brought Amazon returns in where I mistakenly was supposed to take them to the post office and they still printed a return label for me and taped it up and packaged it up ready for me. They definitely don’t have to do that, and they always seem very happy and willing to help.

I’ve had to stop coming to this location due to a rude employee (glasses, bald, tall, African American). He’s always so rude, cuts you off when talking, very rude demeanor. I asked for a quote to ship an envelope to Canada and without even touching the computer he said it would be at least $50. I was shocked as Ive never paid that amount even for a package. I then asked if I could get an actual quote and he seemed annoyed to the point another customer in line gave a surprised look at his attitude…so I just left. Another time I had multiple packages and he immediately said I needed a box for a Amazon return, I understood and realized my mistake as I normally just bring the Amazon item. He then cuts me off and starts helping the other customer saying he was done with me even though I had other packages that didn’t need a box (as labeled). I again left annoyed with unfinished business that I went to another spot instead. I’ve given this place many chances and this one guys has been the rudest of any UPS’ I’ve encountered. Will go to another location from here on. Not to mention the parking is ridiculous at this location.

This store and its employees are amazing. I am always bringing things for my daughter that need to be returned. They take the packaging slip, put tape on the box, and mail it. There are no questions asked, and everyone is courteous, patient, friendly, and helpful. I havent always gotten this much assistance at other UPS stores.Twila C

Usually a line. Usually parking is not fun. Most of workers are great but ran into one named Paris that literally took my Amazon return out of an Amazon box that I put it in saying it was too big for the item and instead wasting a new plastic bag to send it back to Amazon. I commented to her that the reason I send back Amazon boxes to Amazon is so they use them to help save our planet. She didnt give a dang and shoved my item into the new bag instead.I dont know what her problem was. Ive never had any other workers do that. The box wasnt a massive box at all ant if I had taped it up, shed have never known it was a bit bigger of a box than the item. Nowhere does Amazon say, Make sure to package your item in the perfect size of box or we wont take it.

This is, hands down, the best shipping center I have ever been to. Great neighborhood vibe, excellent customer service and the staff seems genuinely interested in processing your order. I never dread going to have a package shipped at the UPS store in Manhattan Beach. This place knows how to get things done. Did I mention they were friendly too?

I am very disappointed with the Customer Service received at this location when a problem occurred. I gave two stars because it was easy to send out my packages and that experience was great. However, I sent 4 packages out, at the time. I was not told how they were being sent, I just asked that they get delivered by Friday/Saturday for the cheapest possible price (I was mailing on a Tuesday). Come Friday, I track the packages to see where they are in the process of being delivered, and the tracking states, Label created, not yet in system So I called the UPS Store to make sure that they actually sent them out and the employee that answered let me know that I would have to track with the postal service not with them. Eventually, I spoke to a Mike, and all he had to say was I chose my shipping and that the mail is picked up every day around 11AM. He must have said it two or three times to me, the mail is picked up everyday around 11AM. I asked if they could check to make sure it wasnt at the store and the response was no, its put in the same slot, so that argument doesnt work I responded with I wasnt trying to argue, but its not one package that is an issue it is all four packages that have the same problem. If I wanted the packages to be sent via USPS I would have gone to the post office which is much closer to my house. I wanted the security of UPS which is why I went there and in the future I will double check with service they are providing. Customer Service is a big thing for me and I just feel that this situation could have been handle differently. An example would be: I could have been put on hold, while he looked around just to make sure they werent sitting somewhere, accidents happen. I said I would call back if they werent delivered by tomorrow (Saturday) and Mike said there really wouldnt be a point to call back as they would tell me the same thing again. So I have no idea where the four packages are at the moment and I have no idea who to contact for help because apparently this not the UPS stores problem.

Five stars is not enough... Weve been customers with a box here for the past ten years. Mike and his staff are always on top of things... they have the mail and packages waiting, are quick to help with shipping out items, and have a variety of extra services they offer (faxing, copying, notary stuff, etc). The best part is that they have made it their own version of Cheers... they are all quick with a smile, and they seem to know EVERYONES name. Kudos to a company that is doing business right!

Uhhhhhh not really sure what this dude with the one star is talking about but Michael and his people were super nice and tried to help me out even though I was stressing out about getting a present sent out on time. Not sure if this dude was having a bad day or something but from what I experienced is the total opposite of what this guy is saying.Thank you for helping me even though I know I wasn’t the best customer. I left the store feeling a lot better and they made me feel important. Customer service was amazing and I will be going back again.

The staff at the Manhattan Beach UPS Store is Awesome. Yes, capital A, Awesome. They know you by name. Every time I walk in they say hello and I dont even have a box with them... the company that I work for has their mail delivered there so I stop by from time to time. It is not just me that they know by name. I would say about half the people that walk in they call by their first name. Yes, the line takes a few minutes now and again, but that is because they are taking care of each customers specific needs.

UPS should separate themselves from this place. The staff including the guy I am assuming is the owner are at best indifferent to the customers. The two woman that work at the store act like helping you is a bother to them. Do yourself a favor and use a different location for these services.

I got the same lecture about using UPS tape for my prepaid package. I asked why that wasnt an issue any other time I brought in a package, and the guy very smugly explained that this is 2013 and we are in a bad economy, etc. This was late summer and I have been bringing in packages to UPS for years with no tape on them. So suddenly it is 2013 and we are in a bad economy? All he had to do was kindly explain that UPS now has a new policy, etc. I understand that this stuff adds up if all customers are doing it all the time. Instead, he was so smug and condescending, I walked out of there feeling completely YUK. I had been going to a UPS store in a pretty gritty area of Hollywood for the past 10 years and the customer service there blows this Manhattan Beach store away. Given the amount of money I spend in shipping, to me this was a penny-wise/pound-foolish approach.

This small location does what it does best - gets your packaged shipped safely. Customer service here is great, every staff member Ive interacted with has been awesome.Pro tip - there is parking for the store directly behind it. Turn into the driveway touching the building for off street parking.

Reliable and courteous. I have closer UPS stores but I use this one because my shipments never have issues and they usually get packaged to a point where I feel safe with shipping any item with this store.
