This is the only place I use. Been coming here for years to get printing done. At one time this was Amazon return central, but they are also helpful with mailing small and super large items. The staff is so overworked because its always busy but they have never been without a smile and friendly chat even when the line is out the door. Great staff with great attitude no matter for the six years Ive lived here. I write this review today because for the first time I had an issue. It was with a printing order. It was a small order but the turn around time took a lot longer than normal. I was told that there was a printer down. When I picked up the order the owner took off one of the charges. Again this wasnt a big order and Im just a regular customer with no business account. The fact that this discount was given was beyond what was expected. The store didnt have to do that but did. It made me feel like my small order as a customer was appreciated. Thanks again. The lines are long but the customer service is worth the wait.

Long story short, I had to get a passport photo for a two year old. So the normal challenges with that, getting him to stay still-ish, look at the camera straight on etc. The staff at this location were very helpful and at one point joined in singing row, row, row your boat. We got a great picture! Which 100% would not have happened without their assistance.

I wish I could give them 5 stars. I have been taking my Amazon returns to this UPS Store for the better part of two years. During which time, I have also supported them by using their services. I think it is neat that they have brought in an Amazon self-service return kiosk. However, I had the most annoying experience today. There is a system I have adopted from a while, in fact, years back. I place my returns in the same re-sealable Amazon envelopes the items come in. I print out the codes on paper because it makes it go faster (than looking for the codes on my phone) at the register. It makes for a speedy process. But, today, a lady Id never seen before, made me take each item out of the re-sealable Amazon envelopes. Good thing I never seal the envelopes until I get to the counter. Often, the person behind the counter would seal the envelopes for me. It makes me feel comfortable knowing that they can see I am returning the item I say I am returning. So, after I took each item out of the perfectly good re-sealable Amazon envelope, she makes me place each item inside a clear plastic bag, then makes me print a separate receipt (on sticker label) for each individual item. I had six items to return. What a waste of labels! Because you can actually print several items on one receipt/label. She said that Amazon is very particular in the way they want to see their returns done. How utterly ridiculous of her!! I have been a prime member for over 10 years, and 5 of those years as a small business owner. I know how to properly pack an Amazon return. Anyway, I was super annoyed. Im sure there were other customers waiting in line feeling the same as me. I left feeling glad and relieved that I wasnt returning a personal item like a bra or underwear or something I wouldnt want anyone else to see. That would have been embarrassing. This way of returning items back to Amazon infringes on ones privacy rights. Not to mention just how long it took to re-package everything. In the meantime, there was a huge line of customers waiting. I will give Staples a try next time.

This is the best UPS store Ive been to, in California! Entire staff is very helpful and kind! Michael was a pleasure to work with. He helped me process 4 large boxes for shipment quickly, while he kept me smiling with friendly conversation! Mark and Josie have also been a huge help! Thank you UPS store, Grass Valley! Ive only used this location twice. Both times the staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. My latest visit involved a LOOOOONG line, because that is usual at this time of year. The staff was pleasant and the line really moved along fast. The biggest kudos go to Darin who really gives helpful and kind assistance. I told him he was a doll!

GG was wonderful. She was patient and fun with our 1.5yr old getting his passport photo. She cared about getting the photos correct so much we took them 3 times to catch the right shot of our wiggle worm. Overall a pleasant experience with very helpful, caring service.

Stopped by UPS around 2pm on a Saturday, specifically, the last Saturday before Christmas. Store was packed, long lines, some audibly unhappy customers. There was a man behind the counter who was clearly communicating with us customers verbally, which was appreciated. GG helped us with our own boxes and was friendly while helping us and managing a whole crowd. Thank you GV UPS team for helping bus and staying friendly and professional

I just went to this location with prepaid shipping and packing multiple employees would not help me or help with looking up the information. They kept telling me I had to pay them again and I explained that it was pre-paid then they told me they could not honor it as they were not a UPS store. I pointed out that the sign, their name tags and the shirts they all wear say they are a UPS store. There was a long line and I did not wish to continue to argue with them as they were clearly not going to honor the payment that was already made to UPS.

I made an appointment online for notary services, on their website. When I got to the store, I stood in line for a long time, and was finally helped by a gentleman that informed me that they dont honor notary appointments made on their website. They only do walk-ins and theres no guarantee if and when a notary will be there. Seems like a sketchy way for a major business to operate. Waste of 45 minutes.

Be VERY careful shipping UPS on Bank Street. They over charged us by $200! They refuse to make it right. BEWARE. We requested the most affordable shipping possible. They charged us $240. Come to find out, it was only $40 to ship! Do NOT shop here and do not ship here! VERY fraudulent company! The manager and the owner are both condescending, rude, and commited fraud.

Lazy, Rude Service here. I do not recommend anybody renting a mailbox here, unless you don’t mind your mail being lost and in transit for a very long time. They also charge Fed Ex Rates to forward your mail to you rather than placing a regular postage stamp and forwarding it to you. When I complained they laughed. Some businesses really should just be shut down, like this one. If you need a P.O. Box in this town, I recommend Mailbox Etc.

I would highly recommend this store to package and ship your items. My parents had a framed oil painting packed and shipped back to them in Oregon while they were on vacation down in California. They did an excellent job in packing the painting, and it arrived in perfect condition. The customer service was excellent as well!

Beware! Just because you have a pre-printed UPS label, it doesnt mean they accept it??!! I dropped off my DrinkMate CO2 cannisters that have pre-paid UPS label, and they said they dont accept these hazardous containers in their store. At least they had the courtesy to let me know and sent it anyway this one time. Seems kinda crazy when they call themselves The UPS Store. I will have to take these to the UPS drop off location by the airport.

I had a valuable knife and case that I needed to ship to San Diego County from Grass Valley. I was very concerned as the case has a glass top, the wood case is in perfect condition and the knife was very sharp. I took a chance to send it UPS, via this store, and I waited on pins and needles till it arrived today to the destination. ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION. No issues at all. The receiver said they packed it so well he thought eggs would have made it unbroken if we shipped those. I was so relieved nothing went wrong. I would use them again for UPS packing and shipping services.

Package contents were stolen box was cut into forcefully opened then lazily taped with clear tape not even a full piece but a sliver holding the two sides of the destroyed empty box closed. Do not ship or receive packages from this facility untrustworthy company that needs to be investigated.The authorities have been contacted and there will be an investigation apparently this is not the first time this has happened . Do not do business here

Had a client of mine needing to sign some documents and no access to internet or email. Mike and Christy were both super helpful assisting in us getting this done for my client. We had some issues getting the info to them to print off, but they were very patient and we finally got it done. I wouldnt use UPS at all unless you are using it for Amazon. If you need to print go to Staples. They charged me $20 to log in to the computer when it didnt even read my SD card. Absurd prices to print. Also they changed my packages tracking number twice and then wouldnt even deliver it to the address, but only to a carrier facility 40 miles away I had to drive to, and I paid top dollar for this shipping service. All in all, use Fed Ex or USPS for your personal use, UPS just exists for Amazon now.

Stick with FedEx. This store is so corrupt they will leave you speachless when it comes to filing any kind of claim. They love to pawn the liability off onto the UPS corporation after saying that they will take care of it. By that time UPS Corp will deny the claim and leave you grappling for a clue as to whose responsible for paying out the insurance on a very valid claim where THIS UPS STORE MIS-PACKAGED MY SPEAKER, THE PARCEL WAS DROPPED AND THEY WARD OFF ALL LIABILITY FOR PAYING THE REPLACEMENT COST LEAVING YOU NO OPTION BUT TO TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS OR GIVE UP BECAUSE THEY EXCELL AT THWARTING THEIR LIABILITY AND EMPLOY PEOPLE WHOSE SPECIFIC ROLE IS TO DRAW THE WHOLE PROCESS OUT AND LEAVE YOU WAITING FOR NOTHING!!!!
