Sent my girlfriend here to return my Amazon return and they charged her for a package. The Amazon return states that you may send back item without providing a package. My other UPS store does this on a regular basis with no problems so I will not be using this UPS location. Just wanted to make you all aware so you know.

Amazing service and they worked with me every step of the way to get my menu printed . I highly recommend to reach out to the staff if you ever need printing services. They are truly a one-stop-shop for packing, printing and more! Will surely be coming back whenever I need something. Also this location is in a great convenient spot on Castro St. in downtown Mountain View!

Big shout out to the service at this place. I put a bunch of PDFs together that I needed for a work project, emailed it to them, and one of the ladies popped over when I walked in and took care of the whole thing for me, which I’m kind of glad for bc what she was doing looked a bit complicated(I was asking for b+w this, color that, 2 copies of that but 30 of those and one had to be formatted all crazy to come out correctly, which she nailed immediately.). Wonderful establishment, highly recommend

Have used this UPS store for our virtual mailbox for over three years. They are so great to work with and very helpful. Never missed a day of mail forwarding. I can call and ask if any mail looks important or not and have mail forwarded earlier. This has worked great for us. Only caveat is mail forwarding is a bit pricey (like $25 each time) but other than that we are very happy with the service provided at the Castro Street Mountain View location.

I dont usually care to leave a review, but wow this UPS actually picked up my call (after I tried calling another one in Sunnyvale and was left ringing) when I needed a last minute notary service (before 2pm), and a last minute printout on card stock.Samantha C. was so professional and friendly.Free parking in front of Starbucks, right next to UPS, less than 10m from the entrance.Definitely coming back here again for all future UPS needs. Thanks for making my own last minute emergency so easy.

I appreciate this UPS so much. Everyone here is kind and polite. Sam & Sharon are always helpful!Parking is easy - typically along Castro. I’ve been here many times, and they rarely have any lines. All the counters are open and will help you when they can.I will always use this UPS branch for all my UPS drop-offs.

Im pretty surprised that every other review is one star. Ive been to this location three or four times in the last year to ship packages and it has always been a great experience in terms of customer service and price. Id highly recommend.

Went to this store for an Amazon return today. Since I am new to the country, I read reviews before going and so I went prepared with tape, etc. But nothing other than the return product was needed. I was done with the return in less than 30 seconds. It was super smooth and the person at the counter said they’ll pack, label and return the product. I wasn’t asked to pay anything extra. They offered to give me a return slip if I wanted it.

Staff are rude and prices for customer service items are extortionate, its probably why the staff are the way they are, sick of being confronted about the prices.Ive had multiple UPS drop offs, they charge $3 to receive and open an email and the label is charged at 50c a sheet to print. Really? Charging to open an email, are you joking?Of course one part of the label needs to go into the box, they wont seal the box for you, you need to bring your own tape...Seriously not sure how they are still in business, compare to Fedex who are happy to do this or the local mail store.Wont be using UPS for anything again...

Do not do time critical shipments here- you cant trust it will get delivered on time. I paid a huge fee for my late delivery of my time critical shipment, and for the one week of limbo where the package seemed to be nowhere, I thought the package was lost.Dropped off an overnight shipment on 5/30. Wasnt delivered until 6/7.When I called this store on 6/1, they said everything had been shipped out previously on a daily cadence. However, UPS online customer service said it was picked up from the local store on 6/6. They didnt want to give me a refund (I was just asking for the shipment cost, and not including the late fee that was incurred) for the late shipment because it was picked up from the local store on 6/6 and thus, delivered within 1 day of that pick-up date.

I said email for convenience but could’ve done eitherAfter printing it she says it’s $3.27 which is insane and then tells me that’s why I asked if you want usb or email, because there’s a $3 service charge for email.

I called and spoke with Sharon over the phone, who made an excellent first impression with her knowledge about packing my delicate artwork, and with her speed of quoting prices when I asked about every different option. She even knew details about USPSs dimensional weight limits and USPSs minimum packaging protection requirements for insurance purposes (you read that right, USPS, not UPS). Shes an absolute pro. In fact, I considered an alternative cheaper place to get my packaging done, but her knowledge totally sold their service. And Im super glad I went with this UPS store, because my artwork made it to an international destination (via air) unscathed. So their packaging service might seem pricey, but it was well worth it for me. Ive also used this location to buy shipping supplies, to return Amazon items, and to buy one-off battery hazard warning labels for shipping. I highly recommend this location.

James was very helpful. I went there to drop off Amazon return packages. I put two labels on one box and 3 items inside. One of the three items has a bar code return label. Amazon customer service told me I could do that, but James told me that we shouldn’t do that. If we do that, we might not get all the refunds, because the person who opens the package at Amazon might just scan one label.He opened package and separated and resealed each one individually. I didn’t have to make another trip and all the trouble... especially given the pandemic situation..Thank you, James.Kindness can go a long way... I’ll make sure paying it forward. If we could all strive to be kind to one another, what a wonderful world we and our children would live in.

The worst place to buy stamps.They charge more than $18 for a stamp book that is sold for around $12 at USPS. They do not allow return/refund after I found the difference even though the stamp book is still 100% new.

Basic UPS Store with jacked up prices. If you are planning on sending and picking up a package here; dont. They charge $10 pick up fee and $10 per day if they hold it, and that includes the day the package arrives and the day it is picked up! I called my own UPS Store in Seattle; they charge a one time $5 and hold for a reasonable time. Another mountain view ups store is $10 pickup and $5/per day. From what I was told since the stores are privately owned they can do whatever they want on services outside of standard ups shipping rates, etc.

They dont even tape your package. The cashier said Im gonna tape a small bit but for more you gotta buy a roll of tape, then put 2 of tape, making sure things would fall out of the package if I dont tape it myself.Very cheap people. Even if I need a roll of tape, I wont buy it from you.I took my package to another ups store who taped and didnt even ask.

They took the most awful picture for passport with obvious light problems and white areas in the face and when I asked for refund she just said they can refund right after taking pictures. I was retuning all photos because it was useless.Never go there for any services never!

I go to this location often. I do field service, and I am always sending back defective networking devices I have replaced. The staff is fast, polite and efficient. I dont expect them to supply packing tape for me, becuase if they did that, they would supply it for everyone that walked in the door. For that reason, I arrive there with my package taped up and labeled, if I have a label. If not, they have no trouble generating a label for me, based on the business I am shipping to. If their account doesnt come up, or there are issues with the account, I simply recall that this is not UPSs problem, its the problem of the person or business that wants their stuff back, so I would not even think of yelling at the staff about this...they can, and do, however, answer questions for me.Great location...the only issus is trying to find parking in downtown Mountain View...eh...thats the price we pay for convenience. Keep it up, #120 staff!

The unresponsive staff mistyped the shipping address five times before the shipping label was created. I asked for insurance of value $600 but the staff forgot to do so. Unfortunately, my package was delivered to a unknown address because the staff attached others label on my package. When I talked to them, the manager is quite rude and yelled at me that this was not their fault and I should take the responsibility for my lost package.

Michelle was very helpful with notarizing our family trust. She helped figure out what we need to print, printed and sorted all of it for us and assisted us throughout whole process. She was also very mindful about our small child being with us and orchestrated the whole process so my wife and the baby were disturbed the least.

Charged me $3.50 for printing out 2 pieces of paper black and white from the computer. An in store sign says $3 charge for reserving the computer up to 15 mins. I’ve used the computer multiple times in the past to print out with no charge because I brought in a usb to print off of but this time didn’t apply because I downloaded it from my email. Brutal and absolute nonsense.

This UPS location is very efficient for mailing packages as well as drop-offs. Because they are so quick, there is usually no line when I come in. Once in a while there, I have to wait and am the only person in line. But its only for a a minute or so because they have lots of staff and multiple weigh stations for packages. A way better experience than the US Post Office.The biggest issue here is the parking situation on Castro. There is a limited supply of street parking for a multitude of businesses. Save yourself a headache and forget coming at lunch time during the week. Other times its hit or miss, and its not fun carrying boxes of stuff for any long distance so good luck there.That said, theres a Starbucks nearby, so anytime I have to work carrying a package, I can treat myself do a drink there.

Charged me $3.25 to print a pre-paid shipping label. Outside of this being absurdly expensive, what could have a 30 second interaction became a 5+ minute interaction (email the file, wait for clerk to print, wait for payment to process). What should have happened, show the clerk the label on my phone, scans it, prints it, leave. During peak CoVID-19 levels, this is simply unacceptable.

Went there to get my passport copies of 6 pages to notarize which the UPS store in sunnyvale refused to notarize it as a booklet and instead asked for $60 for 6 pages.The lady understood the problem well and gladly notarized the photocopies of passport pages as one booklet and embossed the documents.
