I am a regular at this UPS store. They are great at processing a seemingly overwhelming number of Amazon returns! Their staff is quick, helpful and polite. I have personally seen multiple customers act disrespectfully to the staff here and the Manager (I believe Sean is his name) exhibits more patience than I would ever have! Highly recommend this store and would give it 6 stars if I could :)

I come to this UPS store often to ship things and of course my Amazon returns. Sean seems to be here 8 days a week and he never sleeps. Every time I come, him or his employees take care of my shipping needs. 5 stars for the professionalism and hard work!

I am at this location often, mainly returning Amazon packages. This location can get busy. Sean and Scott are always helpful, friendly and moving people out as quickly as possible. With the new Amazon return rules (especially the ones you must box yourself) I have seen both these gentlemen take a lot of misplaced anger for those who cannot read or think they are above the rules. They have always handled it professionally and calm. Couple of times I’m not sure how they did it. I love this location and thank you Sean and Scott for always being their to assist 😁

The team is one of the most hard-working teams I have seen. This is my local UPS store and have been coming here for 5 years! Sean is always so kind and friendly. He says hi right when you walk in and takes care of my errand quickly! I have noticed many others in this store being so so rude to not only Sean, but to Scott as well, for things that they cannot control such as a long line or a customer with many packages needing assistance with. I appreciate the friendly smile that both Sean and Scott are able to put on even after being yelled at by someone who didnt read their amazon return instructions properly and forgot to bring a box and label. I’ve been coming to this UPS store for a while but recently I’ve been able to chat with the manager/owner Sean and it has been nothing but a great experience! One of the times, my husband and I were dropping off a very large package and he helped us get it down from the car and thanked us for being there with a smile on our faces. It was early in the morning so it was a good start to our day! The second time I showed up just as he was closing which I felt bad and he still served me with a smile on his face! He’s been nothing but great and I will continue supporting the local store!

My experiences here are always positive at this location. It is clean, organized and helpful. Today I was saddened to hear that an employee of 13 years had quit because of the mistreatment this location has received from the public. The poor owner now works alone and is there 7 days a week to make sure our packages get delivered. People can be so nasty to the customer service industry, and it broke my heart to hear this. You never know what someone is going through and I hope anyone that reads this thinks twice before losing their patience. Amazon drop off has a high volume on top of regular packages being sent out and picked up from this location. Be kind, and to the owner I hope you see this and know that most of us are grateful for you and your hard work. Thank you sir.

Wow, not the friendly experience I was expecting. I understand it is busy because you were closed for a holiday, BUT....when you have to make 2 trips & both times you are told something totally different, it is VERY frustrating. I ended up letting them package my returns, for a fee of course, because my 1st trip I was told what to use my old Amazon packaging, and I explained I didnt have Amazon packaging, it was shipped exactly the way I brought it in, a clear plastic wrap. He said put it in a envelope or box, so I kept the wrap it was shipped in and put that into a paper bag and shipping taped it shut. Not acceptable. So I explained it was my 2 trip today and waiting in line with 5-8 people in front of me, could he PLEASE tell me the correct way so I didnt make the mistake again. He said his co worker would explain, and of course he didnt. The owner, I am assuming, was extremely rude and very vocal about not liking to help with Amazon returns.

In Response:I took them back because you guys wouldn’t accept them without being sealed and was charging me $3. I told them I wasn’t asking for a box but rather a simple piece of tape to seal it. The guy said $3 is like a tip and seemed to not think it was a big deal. Good customer service would’ve been giving me a piece of tape vs trying to nickel and dime everything.Please don’t turn the story around and make it sound like you guys did everything you could to remedy the situation. You’re being cheap and not providing good customer service.Guys wanted to charge me $3 to tape a box. It was all packed and all I needed was a single piece of tape. Then they complained Amazon only pays them $.20 a package and so it wasn’t worth their while to help with a strand of tape. Ridiculous

I have been using this UPS Store for my mail for 7+ years. Scott and Sean always provide A+ service. They are friendly, courteous, and have a good sense of humor. On a slow day (not very often are they slow...) if they see my car pull up, they will sometimes have my mail ready before I walk in the door! That is the kind of above and beyond service you get from these guys. I have had a UPS Store mailbox in 4 different states, over the past 30 years, and they have all been excellent. My UPS box is accessible 24 hours a day, behind a locked door, and I dont have to worry about package thieves stealing my stuff, while Im at work. The address counts as a physical location, so things they wont send to a P.O. Box can be sent there securely. They can also sign for packages such as wine shipments or registered mail. This greatly simplifies my life as I cant be home at random delivery times. Also note that customers get an email and/or text when packages are scanned in. Note that I have absolutely no affiliation with UPS or any other related service, I am a scientist who works in a lab every day. Hats off to Sean and Scott.

Long overdue review but this is the best UPS store!! We always have the best and smoothest experience with shipping, mailing, printing and even passport pictures here. Sean and the team were recently extremely helpful with a cross country move and helped us organize and send off 10-15 large moving boxes with no issues. Everyone at this location is so friendly, greets everyone (new and regular customers) warmly, and are great with any questions. This store is incredibly reliable. Horrible. The old Indian man argued repetitively with me that Amazon did not process the return correctly and he would not accept my return. He then gave me a “special direct line” to Amazon - aka - their customer service phone number. To call so I could have shipping and box fees refunded. This was very off putting considering the QR Code stated the UPS Store would accept the return, box, label, ship and pack as needed. I called Amazon only to find out I was correct - the gentleman should have accepted the return. HE was wrong. They had me drop the items off at Staples instead - zero hassle, same exact items not packaged any differently. Save your time and frustrations and go anywhere but here! This man needs to learn how to service customers instead of arguing with them about Amazons faults. Ridiculous!

Since the Amazon returns are now avail via UPS theres many more customers coming there for there returns so high volume work for this office. I have used many UPS stores before but I decided to write a review on this one after using their services for about 4 years now, Sean ALWAYS brings his A game to work, always greets you with a smile on his face no matter how busy or stressed out they are. Sean, the owner of this store has THE WORST people skills and is THE RUDEST person that I know! I think he’s prejudice and he is extremely condenscending and rude. Whenever I go in there, it seems he makes me mindlessly wait for a long time while he piddles behind the counter doing something else. There was one time when I was in there and I let someone else go ahead of me because I had to find the right QR code. When I found it, so I waited until I was next and there was another guy that was behind me, and instead of taking me since I was next, he gestured to the guy behind me to come forward to him and he took him and I stood and had to wait on the other guy to help me. It was SO VERY RUDE!! And all of these nice 5-star reviews are likely just his family/friends because EVERYONE I talk to talks about how rude he is and how prejudice he seems! If you’re not his nationality, he treats you as if you’re below him. Also what I don’t like about him and his store is that he often will all of a sudden will tell you that he’s not accepting any more Amazon returns that dayy, making it inconvenient for me to have to drive to find another UPS store in the area who accepts Amazon returns. I went down there to get a service for my notary and he told me he decided he wasn’t going to do any more of those services for the day and for me to go to another UPS store that will do it for me! Because he’s often turning my business away and how he will make me wait all of the time and how he takes people before me are ALL of the reasons why I think this guy is prejudiced and I feel like him and his attitude is adversely affective the UPS store brand because if they allow someone like him to represnet their brand, then that says a lot about them! I HATE going to his place, but unfortunately for me, it’s the closest one to where I live, so I have no other choice! But if you want sucky treatment, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!! I know some people have complained about their service, especially regarding Amazon returns… but I have only ever experienced smiles, an amazing work ethic and a willingness to help. They don’t get paid for Amazon returns… they do this as a courtesy to their customers and the community. We are lucky to have a UPS store so close that is able to meet all of our needs. I can see why they get bad reviews, came in just before 5 and stood around for a minute before Sean even acknowledged me. Once he did I told him I just had a few amazon returns, he very rudely/condescendingly let me know he could only do as many as he could before 5 - absolutely understandable, I had 4 returns barcodes screenshotted and ready to go. He then took his sweet time to scan them and carefully wrap them (when it was just fabrics that needed nothing special) and wouldnt do my last one. Overall, wouldnt recommend and wouldnt come back.

Toxic environment:This UPS store location is the worst I have visited. Sean Hashemi, the store manager, is a bully, unintelligent, and a toxic person. He refuses to listen if you have a complaint regarding the service. Instead, he thinks he understands your issue from the few words I manage to say and then starts his lecture with examples suited for third graders. When I attempted to request him to listen first, he refused to accommodate, saying that he doesnt have the whole day to listen. This was while I tried to address his wrongful statement, and his toxic attitude prompted me to call UPS HQ and file a complaint.I am considering legal action against this individual if UPS does not address the issue. One thing I can state about Sean Hashemi is that he must adhere to the US Constitution, get educated, or face termination and prosecution. He is not allowed to mock people based on their skin color, accent, or immigration status to the USA. It is very rare that a store manager does not know that harassing and discriminating against customers in the USA is illegal.I have been living in this area for many years and hope that the local UPS store will finally get a new, competent manager to bring a healthy environment to the local community.

Edit: In response to the unnecessary comment from the store owner below: I took the same packages to the UPS store in Woodbury same day and they were no problem. They were happy to scan my items and ship them with zero issues. Please avoid this location at all cost. It is run by a small business owner with no regards to customer service and only cares about his profit. And he’d rather spend this time responding to google reviews in a condescending manner than helping customers. Yes he is very proud to be manager of a UPS store unlike the rest of us with “real” jobs but need to be educated by him on how to pack Amazon returns properly as indicated by his response below. Even with my graduate degrees and working in an office, I had no clue on how to pack Amazon returns even though I have done this a million times. Much thanks to this UPS owner with so much free time to respond to my review that warn others to stay away and lecture me, a 40 year old woman, on how to pack Amazon packages. Lord knows I needed that man to tell how to do things right.Original: Wish I could give this place zero star. Worst owner manager ever. No help at all. The owners attitude was very bad. The first time I went to return something to Amazon, the old man said I used the wrong cardboard box. I went home and replaced it with a new one. The next day, I went again and he said that the tape on the box was not firmly attached, so he asked me to buy a roll of tape for $7. A very stingy shop and really bad customer service.

I have been in twice in my life. Both times the owner was rude. He doesn’t like Amazon returns. He told me to not come back in December with Amazon returns because they are too busy. Worst service at this UPS location. The store manager with an Arabic/Iranian accent was very rude when I asked for a piece of scotch for a packet that was already wrapped and ready to go via UPS. Literally he ordered me to buy a whole role with a rude attitude. He did not even care to see what service I was actually looking for. I returned an Amazon package through this UPS store just fine.I was hesitant to come here at first due to the rating and the reviews, but wanted to get the return over with. I came 30 minutes before the noon lunch rush and honestly had the ideal experience of being in and out. I have been coming here very often now that Amazon does not offer UPS pickup. SEAN has been great and never had any problems with him or his staff. I pack and seal my packages and present the QR code for receipt. I am shocked when I see non paying customer trying to drop off Amazon stuff and give Sean attitude. My local and preferred UPS location. I do all my notary signings and package sending here. This location does get very busy after 4pm weekdays with Amazon drop-offs. Sean and Scott work non-stop to get through the rush every single day and there are people coming in right up until they close the doors.Having been in there for the rush more than once and witnessed how other customers behave, Id suggest that most of the problems with these negative reviews are reviewers that lack basic reading comprehension and understanding of social cues.1. If you see a line out of the door, with Sean and Scott in constant motion processing the queue, then at least have your return code actually ready to scan, dont be trying to look it up at the counter or on your phone delaying the whole queue (for real Ive seen people doing this regularly).2. If your Amazon return says No Label, No Box youre good, if it says anything else then its up to you to package it! That is just how it works. Its not UPSs responsibly to give you free packaging materials for Amazon returns! If you dont want to pay for tape and a box then take your return back home and wrap it yourself. I’ve been going to this UPS store most of for my Amazon & Nordstrom & Macy’s returns, but this is my absolute favorite UPS location. Sean is absolutely Kind, professional, and efficient. Waiting time never long and the staff is just the best.They have the best & plenty of parking spots. Came here the first time to drop off an Amazon return. I followed the instructions and dropped off the item. It said UPS would package it for me. The person at the counter was very nice and gave me a receipt for the drop-off. However, three weeks later I never got a refund and it turns out this UPS store never even shipped my item back. What happened to my return? According to the system, they printed the label but it never left the location. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Amazon to deal with this. Thank god I had the drop off receipt. Always get a receipt. Next time I’m going somewhere else if I need to do a return. I was going to go in to talk to the staff about the issue but I first read the reviews here and realized that would be a waste of time seeing how many have complained about this store.My response to the comment below:But you are an Amazon-approved returns location based on UPS’ agreement with Amazon. You are required to uphold this as a franchisee. If you don’t want to be listed as an Amazon return location, you should contact UPS corporate to see if they can remove you. But for now, Amazon’s website says that we can return items to your specific location and you will package it at no cost. Thats what the Amazon website says in black and white when choosing UPS Store as a return location. You are not upholding your obligation as a UPS Store. The FH UPS is my go-to for all things UPS. I just spent 15-20 mins reading the one-star reviews and noticed a few copy/paste from multiple profiles. I also saw a sense of entitlement to what a franchise business should provide. Ive witnessed Scott & Sean deal with misguided customers; the customers are often in the wrong. Instead of acknowledging their errors, they lash out and project. Ive worked with Scott for years, and he has been professional. He showed me that there are actually different types of Amazon returns, and some require me to already have the item packaged and sealed (it will specify on the Amazon-prepared label). Let me tell you first hand, from being a recurring customer to this location for about 3 years, quite simply, people are not reading the packaging requirements for each type of return they are submitting. Amazon does not have a one size, fits all standard for returning items (some packages are managed by third-party sellers and have different requirements). Some packages require packaging by the consumer, some do not, and others require submitting to the US Postal Service. However, its clear a lot of folks just dont read the details about the particular package they are returning.I have had nothing but a great experience here because I read the specific instructions for each return, as everyone should. I always show up prepared and adhere to the specific package instructions, you should too. The negative comments you see are most likely related to this. I have never had one bad experience with this location, especially the owner. Folks! Read the requirements on each return! I cannot stress this enough. Attention to detail - dont spout off some random internet article that says Amazon covers it all; Amazon is a business as well and so is UPS. They are not charities with bountiful donors - if you consider the sheer volume of folks looking for a handout of free tape or materials (this location easily gets over 200 returns on any given day), think about this if your first inclination is seeking a free handout. 200 x ABC cost adds up. Businesses are in it for making profit above the break-even point and the only way you can contest this is if you are against Capitalism. Surely, the negative comments about free tape are not.

I have been a loyal customer of UPS for over 15 years. In the few times that I have decided to go to this location instead of my usual location in Irvine I have had a terrible experience. I have to say Sean is extremely arrogant and has provided horrible customer services to a number of times now. I stop in at the store very often. I was in a jam once, and Sean helped me out by sorting various copies, prints and making it affordable for me to do a bulk print job on short notice. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! It is the most sorry excuse for a UPS store (or any service provider) that you will find. Im not simply an angry customer spouting because I did not have my way. Im writing this because I am truly shocked at the lack of humanity at this place. The store was on the list of Amazon return centers, and I live within a half mile, so I decided to take my Amazon return there. Everything was packed and labeled, but I needed a piece of tape to properly seal the box. The store told me they would have to charge me for a piece of tape! This is without exaggeration. He did not blink, he did not say that he would give me a piece of tape this time but next time hell have to charge for a piece of tape., he brazingly and condescendingly stated that he is providing a service (and apparently he sees an opportunity to charge unsuspecting customers who were referred by Amazon). Again, I have to emphasize that the service I was there for was to return a package with the Amazon provided return label specific to that store. I am not sure if he does the same for UPS shipments, and charges UPS customers who need a piece of tape $5? Once he scanned the package, he suspiciously asked me if I wanted to take a picture of the package before I left. I am suspicious because that is an odd question. Is that a veiled threat that something may happen to my package? I would not put that past him. I have lived in this neighborhood for 30 years, and I am embarrassed to have this type of greed here. This is the person who will gouge in times of emergency, and would not think twice about charging $20 for a glass of water. If he does not want to be an Amazon return center, then he should stop being that. Again, this review is meant to admonish others what they can expect from this particular facility... I LOVE this UPS store and I always feel welcomed and well taken care of! Even if I’ve gone there during their “rush hour” time between 5:30-6, Scotty and his team go the extra mile to take notice of me, as well as the other customers and they never make me feel rushed! They are very courteous and polite, and willing to offer advice as to the correct packaging and most effective method to insure my packages arrive on time! I have been going to this store for years. The staff has always been helpful and friendly even when there is a line out the door. Just tried to drop off a package with a pre-printed UPS return label. New guy there wanted to charge me $3 or $4 to put tape on it. Wouldnt even let me use his tape thing; wanted me to buy their overpriced tape. Never had this issue here before as they have always been very customer service oriented. Ended up going down the street to Foothill Post and Ship. No problem there; super nice, and customer oriented.

Ive been to several UPS, FedEx locations and never had this problem.Went to another UPS after this wonderful experience and taped my package myself while in the store. the store associate watching me when I came up to the counter told me, we can pack items for you for free.So I dont know why tape is so scarce at this location.

This was my favorite place for mailing needs. Then this man was hired. Dear managers, I am calling UPS corporate offices and Amazon customer services and reporting your franchise. You keeping this person around or not improving his attitude, when all sorts of complaints about him exist, is wrong. He is rude. He is aggressive. He speaks poorly and cannot communicate cordially with customers. Numerous people have mentioned this in reivews. I came in with proper instructions from Amazon and the package was set up exactly as the instructions stated. I showed gim the instructions and the pictures of the delivered item. Your employee said this has been happening for ages and Amazon says boxes are not needed when they are. Now you and he are the problem as this is a known issue. You are losing customers and maybe your business as multiple people have now said they will contact Amazon and UPS corporate.

Manager in foothill ranch store is very money hungry, charging a few dollars for a simple little piece of tape and not willing to provide a receipt for an Amazon return. He tells you to take a picture instead of giving you a receipt. Save yourself some trouble and headaches in case your package gets lost by UPS. Demand and ask him for your receipt for any type of transaction there. All he has to do is push a button and provide you receipt.

Incredibly bad customer service. I walked in with a box and stood there for 10 minutes while the person was helping someone. I was patient in the beginning because he was helping someone but after standing there for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement at all (like even a be right with you) I was thinking wow, not good. Then an employee walked in said hello to him, walked right by me, and went to the back to change his shirt. Then he disappeared for a minute then came up to the front to chat with the guy while I was obviously standing there with a box!! No acknowledgement from him. First the good: service is fine.Now the awful: this location charges ***$3 and up*** to tape your box shut. You also need to tape paper label to your box or you will be charged. I needed to mail 3 envelopes which only contain 1 small childrens 6x8, 25 pages, paperback book so I thought Id skip the post office and give this place a try. An older man put my envelope on the scale and said it cost $12.00 to send. I said its only to Texas . He explained that Texas was expensive to mail to. So I went ahead, like a gullible fool and paid it. He wanted to mail the other 2 envelopes and I said no because I felt like I might have just gotten ripped off. Later that day I took the other 2 envelopes to the Post office and weight them myself . It cost only $1.60 to send one to Alabama and the other to Illinois. Im on social security and need every penny to live on and this man just ripped me off. I hope if you read this mister rip off that your conscience bothers you. Terrible. Terrible.
