This UPS store has been my home store for as long as I can remember. I have always had good experiences, however, the excellent service that I have recieved from Noah R over my last few visits needs to be expressed. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional while being patient and time efficient. Nothing but good things to say, I will continue to frequent this location because of employees like him.

I have NEVER EVER had any issues with returning Amazon items until this store started using the self service returns. So far I have returned two items to Amazon that they claim they have not received. I will never use this store again and recommend you dont either if you want credit for items your returning. So very disappointed!

They are scammers. I was going to send a package and I canceled it because they were charging me $127 for shipping and I told them that it was very expensive. When I canceled, they told me that I had to pay $50 for wasting their time and because they were going to close down scammers. pay $50 for nothing discriminators😡😡

I shipped several boxes during Christmas. I shipped glass mugs in boxes to two locations. One of the locations reported back to me that there was no packing in the package and the mugs were broke.I came in to resolve the issue and was told that both of my boxes I shipped were recorded as self packaged. When I came in I asked for my packages to be packaged and shipped. The customer service agent told me dont worry we will pack it for you so that it wont break.The issue was never resolved. I think the store should at least pay for them to be shipped again. The manager said he would speak to the owner, but my family still received broken mugs for Christmas because there was NO packing in the box. I specifically asked for it.I understand mistakes happen, but I payed for shipping and asked for it to be appropriately packed. I will buy the mugs again, but this location should pay for re-shipping.Also the customer service agents are rude. The manager Seneca at least was cordial and said he would reach out to the manager.I am disappointed.

Tried dropping off a return for an Amazon refund. The package was secure and clearly marked with the return label. I was told by an employee named Cyndi they could not accept my return because it was in the manufacturer box and not the brown Amazon box. I explained the item was not mailed me to in an Amazon box and I followed the instructions provided to me by amazon and all I needed was a receipt. I have mailed returns before in manufacturers boxes with no problem. She told me I could purchase a brown box to package it in. When I declined she refused to take my package. I called UPS to schedule a pick up and they said they would report the incident to corporate. Avoid this location at all costs.

I would rather not even give this UPS a score. Very rude manager (Fara). She had a line out the door. Thought she could handle all the customers by herself kind of attitude. I stood next to a customer waiting in line. She tells me out loud there is a line. I tell her that I am in line just trying to avoid the sun. When it was my turn she asked what I needed. Told her I needed to send a FAX. She gave me the prices and tells me when I am ready let her know and went on to help another customer. I will never do business with UPS ever again.

This place is just fantastic. I have really bad hip arthritis and I’m unable to lift more than maybe 5 lbs without experiencing pain. These guys have come out to my car twice to take my packages for me and bring back the receipt. I can’t express more gratitude and appreciation. Thank you so much.

If I could give this location negative stars I would. The man that runs this store is the absolute worst person to deal with. He is so picky about things, and will throw his sign in your face and tell you to read. Even though his instructions are not what amazon says to do, maybe he should try reading. I strongly encourage everyone to boycott UPS especially this location. People like him should not be in customer service and do not deserve to be in business. If the USPS can handle packages in any shape/form UPS should not have an issue. He will literally complain about the box use, what the box is wrapped in, etc..Perhaps he does not want to work? You can take the same exact package to another UPS location and they will gladly accept it. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! He is so rude and nasty!

I mailed a table to myself from The UPS Store #4298 in Elk Grove to my residence in Texas. This table had been in my family for generations.I boxed the the table myself and I ask the lady at the counter if there was anything else I needed to do. She told me everything looked fine but she was going to to put a little extra tape on the box. I wanted to insure it and she said that would be a good idea. So I insured it for $500.I left The UPS Store feeling good that I would receive it back home in Texas. Well I did. In pieces. I filed the claim with UPS and they told me it was in the hands of the store that originally mailed it. I called the store and got the manager. She said there was nothing they could do for me. I asked about the insurance and she told me the insurance was for missing packages not damaged packages. This is a load of BS. The worst UPS Store ever, Do not take your packages here. There are other UPS Stores in Elk Grove. I know they will probably delete this comment from FB but I am contacting Yelp, Google, and the BBB.To bad UPS corporate wont stand up to the plate.

I came in with an envelope for international mail and asked for 4 oz. of postage. I was charged $17, but when I got home, the postage was only $7. I went back and was told after-the-fact there’s also a “convenience fee”. I asked why I was not told about the 130% extra fee, and received a dumb stare with no explanation. Very deceptive. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Used UPS store to ship to UK, got great service to box & ship items on 12/17 box not received by family yet! Had to be sent USPS as UPS does not have international delivery in UK. So many corrections on original label needed to be changed (spelling of names) but of course Computer system not working so no updated label. Used original with scratched out and hand corrected. As I was there after 4 pm shipping wouldnt happen until following day, I was told at 10 am. Tried to track using number given, no updates of movement, plus I was tracking wrong system(not USPS as I truly thought I could track UPS, since I was using their service and paid ALOT) ended up calling store letting them know no info updated & at that time I was told that I now had an updated tracking number, since after I left she (UPS clerk) was able to make corrections and new label with new tracking number was printed and put on package. Had I not called, how would I have known this? ! Anyway, I had to go into the store the following day to ask them for an update, and it was then that I was told I needed to be tracking USPS & not UPS. Ok package received in UK on 12/19. Now working with family in UK to track down package. Im kicking myself for ever using UPS Store ! I went to USPS Post Office yesterday for information & advice, they have been the most helpful. They were SHOCKED at how much I paid to send. I paid $80. more to send that package using UPS. My message is to all to save yourself $ & grief and use USPS (which I usually do but NO, used UPS because I thought Id get better & quicker service)

Great store and great service. if I was to say anything that they need to bring back Lisa Marie, she is always on top of things and should never have been moved away from her home area!Now take some other review with a grain of salt, if you go in and your forms arent filled out, yea your going to wait. Another customer is not going to wait for you to finish prepping you package nor should we have to. That would not be a good approach in any business. The next customer ready should be helped and their transaction completed. Sorry but you should be ready.

I have shipped packages from this store twice in the last two weeks. The gentleman that helped me, both times, was courteous, efficient and clearly explained all shipping options to me. Can’t ask for more than that, especially during the busy time leading up to Christmas. This store will be my “go to” option for all shipping needs.-Bob B.

I had to return some products to a company in New Jersey. I paid $20 in freight charges to have the package shipped via UPS to me from the company. I removed the 2 items in the box I was keeping and repacked the remaining item in the original box and took it to this UPS store to have it returned. My package was exactly the same size (since it was in the original box) and was lighter (since Id removed 2 items.) They charged me $47 for the return. I had a schedule to keep and couldnt find another shipper so feeling completely robbed, I paid the $47. I will not return. Not sure if its UPS or this particular UPS store, but I was seriously overcharged. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

I am always having problems at this location. & one of the ladys who work there is very snarky and rude. I called her out on it twice (different times). I am never coming to this location again. I am just trying to return my packages from Amazon not my fault Amazon keeps messing up on their labels, how am I supposed to know.Better customer service please!Also she is always on her personal phone.

Less than one star would fit better. They do take Amazon returns but they never send them to Amazon. Past the return date and out money and item. Better box it up yourself or take it back to Kohls. Enjoy the merch you kept.

Dishonest people who work here! Went to return Amazon items, today. They charged me $6.92 for printing 2 sheets of paper and a $1.99 for plastic shipping bag! When asking about the price, the manager and worker stated the price was the use of their computer. Wow! Ridiculous!

TERRIBLE. I came in and was helped for a sec and had to fill in a form but then someone else came in and was helped with passport photos which is fine since I was filling out a form but I finished my form before they even finished photos and she started to research other country requirements for the passport. I feel like she should have come back to me since I did arrive first and all I had to do was fill out a small part of a form and she’s wasting MY time by researching on the internet. I asked if she was going to help him first and THEN help me and she said yes that she would finish helping him before she will get to me so I left. Bad customer service. ZERO stars if I could.

Hirishito was the rudest employee in the UPS Stores. Wanted to charge me for tape, wouldnt use the same bag because he wanted to charge me for another package. I told him I wanted to use the packaging with tape then he wanted to charge me for tape! Really! Dont go to this store or dont use UPS for your shipping needs. Bad customer service bad employee...never.never.never go here!

I first went here 10 years ago and white people owned it.... at that time they were very rude, ever since the Asian folks started running this place its been in tip top form. I believe a man named twain helped me out. Twain uses the tape gun similar to an artist painting a portrait of a beautiful landscape. my experience concluded with twain explaining how to create an authentic Vietnamese meal described as fo .... at home when i recreated this meal for my family they described it as tasting like food for farm animals, however im sure if i had his Vietnamese wizardry that it would have been spectacular!! it was soooo awesome that i came in here to ship a package but ended up taking a trip around the world!! kudos to you TWAIN!

Very bad experience and horrible service, I went to this store to shipped an audio mixer valued at $3,000 It was damaged by ups staff when it arrived at its destination the box and item were damaged and lasted more than a month for ups to make a decision on the damage they caused and did not want to pay the cost of the damage they caused to my audio mixer lasted all this time to reimburse me only $ 100 never asked me about the value of my product at the time of shipment or insurance I also paid for them to packed my audio mixer obviously they didn’t do their job good enough I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this location to send any of value since they are not responsible when dealing with the boxes with fragility and much less paying for the mistakes they make.
