I went to this location in the Amado Center today, 03.25.24. There were two agents on duty. One was helping another customer, the other guy said hed be right with me and he was, in about ten seconds. He asked me politely how he could help me? I replied that I had a QR code on my phone to ship the box I brought in. He scanned the code, placed a label on the box and gave me a receipt with a smile and bid me a good day. The entire experience took less than a minute. I could not have been more pleased unless hed handed me ten bucks for walking in the door. Im kidding about that part, of course but, really I dont know how the experience could have been more pleasant. I give this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+ stars and will recommend them to anyone who needs to ship with UPS. Especially if its an item that cant simply be dropped off at a collection point. Really top notch service!!I know people have good days and bad days. I cant resist saying that some of the bad days could be avoided if the customer would treat the agent the way theyd want to be treated.

Paid $70 for 3lb small package for 2 day air. Arrives 4 days later. Ask for compensation which I was told I would get by the ups rep if it didn’t arrive in time. Went back to store for my promised refund. Other ups rep acted all annoyed that I would dare ask. But he puts it into the system to “request” a refund, said they’d be contacting me. Crickets after several days. Use USPS or fedex instead.

Staff were kind and I was helped shortly after arriving. Location is very convenient. I cant give a five star review because I had a package shipped to Palm Springs and held here for pick up. When I chose that option, I was not informed of the $25 per day fee for picking up a package at this store if you are not a mailbox holder. Thankfully, I picked it up the day it was delivered but was very unpleasantly surprised by having to pay $25 and felt that it is exorbitant to charge this (without disclosing it upfront) just for a medium sized box to sit on a shelf for a few hours. Charging this for packages that sit for more than 3 days would probably be reasonable but otherwise it is not. If this is noted on the website, it was not apparent or easy to find.We also had artwork shipped from here and it was packaged well. However, they use traditional styrofoam which is disappointing when there are other environmentally friendly options.

Horrible service …. Spent $165 to have a package sent yesterday and insured. Explicitly asked if it could be marked no signature required for delivery. Was told yes. This morning notification sent from ups signature required at delivery. Also said label created but not yet shipped. Called the store and asked if it could be changed. Was told, “no idea who helped you but nothing we can do about it now.” I work so am unable to sign for the package at home.. If insured packages require a signature that should have been explained to me

Came here today to do a live scan. Gentlemen at the desk says the female who performs the live scan stepped away, will be back in 15 minutes, and to stand near the podium. Note that after 15 minutes there was a female who started working with packages in the back and I had an intuition that that was the person who performed the service. After numerous customers walk through and 20 minutes later, no assistance, no staff to perform the scan, so I stand back in line. I hear one of the guys tell that female staff that theres a live scan. She then tells me shell be right with me. Staff was pleasant, but communication could improve.UPS should make that service as appointments only to avoid inconvenience.

Poor attitude. I suspect they are busy with the holidays and when I came in for a notary service, I got the strong impression they were not happy to be doing this today and made it obvious. And to close out the transaction, I never got a thank you from them. They should appreciate all customers.

I drop off packages several times a week. It would be really helpful if the door opened in and not out so that Im not left standing holding heavy boxes (which I need both hands for) while the staff (usually 3 people) are busy on their computers and Im struggling trying to just get in. And then of course, I stand waiting with the heavy packages for 2-3 minutes until they are ready. Even when no one else is in the store. Customer service is clearly not their priority.

Brittany and Gene were very helpful on passport renewal process. quick photos, typed labels, envelope assistance and tracking advice! but the package they prepared has been held in purgatory between UPS and USPS because of deliverability to a PO box. in hindsight, I would have them do the initial prep work and then go to USPS and send an Express package myself.

Busy little shop in the heart of Palm Springs. Sometimes theres a line but they do a good job at helping everyone. I frequently ship stuff and I went there for a live scan, they were very helpful. Also had a minor problem with a UPS shipment, they handled it quickly and really gave it their attention, which I appreciate.

Went in today to take back some Amazon purchases and I was lucky enough to find out before hand that I could find a notary there also. I brought my documents and Jesse was super helpful and did it quick and efficiently, even though he was recovering from a brachial infection (hopefully he recovers soon). We had great conversation and everyone made the experience easy and as a bonus, fun. Ive always used this store because of how close and easily I can be in and out. Just wanted to show some love ❤️

But they did want to charge me to email them copy of label & charge me to print it!! What a scam. I had gone to their business and requested some business cards.The manager wanted all money upfront.I gave him in good faith 50% down.The service is not very good- unprofessional.I waited for my card they never printed them.I requested my money it was given to me, manager very snappy would not even say good morning.Locals be aware they just want your money!I recommend caution at this store!

I received excellent service every time I have entered The UPS Store on North Palm Canyon Drive. Sometimes I was juggling multiple packages, boxes and they came out from behind the counter to make sure I had what I needed. So easy to purchase office items, shipping materials and use their Amazon Drop Off services. Today I will be there again and I know that the customer Service will be great.

Everything went great until the actual execution of my purchase. I dropped off an important item for UPS next day delivery. Was told it could arrive the next day, and verified that I had arrived prior to pick up. I was assured that it would ship that day. The next day, I track the package, and it had not been received by UPS. I call, and I’m told that I dropped it off too late. I was told that UPS picks up between 3:45 and 4:15. My confirmation email was timed at 3:08. I never could get a direct answer on why my package did not go out other than the person that helped me was part time. The person on the phone could not wait to get me off the phone. Kept talking over me as I tried to give details of the shipment. Obviously they forgot about the order, and my important next day delivery might be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday, or possibly Monday. If I knew this, I could have just sent it Second day for half the price. Also, she told me very quickly that because of COVID nothing is guaranteed before I could even ask for a partial refund for a service I did not receive. From now on I will just drive to the one in Palm Desert.

Lets start off with the fact that I happen to be a black man. I Just a few minutes ago i walked into the store to make some Amazon returns.. placed my items on the counter ...waited patiently for about four minutes as three clerks stood there behind the counter having a conversation. Two white gentlemen walked in with Amazon returns and immediately a female clerk says: how may I help you? now Ive been waiting for 5 minutes watching these men get served.. so, I asked out loud if there is a reason why Im standing here now for 5 minutes without assistance while these two men who just walked in are helped immediately? the response was: ...sorry, we got lost in conversation. (???) I am not certain of what the real reason is that I, a 62 215 pound black man was invisible while the two white gentlemen were not. But I sum it up as it is likely my fault for not being white. Shame!!

This is my second visit to The UPS Store both times because Amazon uses them to return their items. On my last visit they actually prepared the shipment and send it back this time it was simply a matter of dropping off the items that I already had pre-packaged. The store is very neat clean and the Personnel seems to be very friendly. I think that it is a good place to do business at and perhaps get a lot of other things done besides shipping.

This place will literally overcharge you. Stacie is the manager who made me pack my own order and charged me twice for the privilege of doing it myself. She was rude to me and to every other person in the store that day. She became combative and rude on the phone when I asked about the overcharge. She claimed they voided the first transaction. Thank goodness I had asked for a receipt. They begrudgingly have me a copy of the transaction they said was voided. It was not. When I asked about it she told me I would have to show her my entire bank statement even though I have the receipts from both transactions. Rather than handling the situation in a professional manner, I am now forced to do a charge back via my bank to recover my money. Avoid this location if at all possible. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to the other location from now on. This review is for the downtown Palm Springs location.

There was a tracking/lead time mix up on a shipment I sent out and Semba along with the owners went above and beyond to make the situation right. I really appreciated their attention to the issue until it was fully resolved. I understand mix-ups like this happen and the way they handled it was super impressive. I really respect businesses that do the right thing and stay kind & patient throughout the process. Ill definitely be returning for my future shipment needs!

Samsung said to take a QR code into the store and UPS would package, label, provide the packaging and ship it. When I took it in, the guy printed the label and then said I had to buy a package before UPS would mail it (he said others had claimed the same thing but UPS wouldnt do it--this store had done exactly that with a prior Amazon return). I had an expensive smart watch to return for repairs and he said I should buy a thinly padded mailing envelope--to mail a watch. That is the most stupid statement that could have come out of his mouth. I left and will never go back.

I go in here to get boxes sometimes and the male employees help me right away. It’s the women there who are rude and unhelpful if you’re a young woman coming in their store. Especially YOLANDA. She was standing behind the desk doing nothing and when I tried to ask a simple question she said she couldn’t help me and this isn’t the first time I walk in there and the women working go out of their way to make you wait and not help you. I will comment on this every time it happens.

I’d give ZERO STARS but they don’t let you Over priced they tried to charge me $90 to ship something when I had a estimate from DHS location for $29.47. She said oh that’s crazy we are all connected just with different owners. I ask her to adjust the price she told me well maybe you should go to the one in DHS then. As I’m walking out she’s telling her coworker “all that work for nothing just a waist of my time” Well stop trying to overcharge people fix your mistakes and don’t send them to a different store

I use this store as my “office.” Mail packages, get copies, use the notary services, etc. Always five-star friendly, efficient and professional. But I thought Derek went above and beyond recently when he found an unlabeled folder of documents I accidentally left there. Instead of shredding & trashing it like most would have, Derek found my name in it and searched the system for my phone number and called to let me know he had found it. Solved a mystery and saved me the hassle replacing the documents. And gave me piece of mind that my info wasn’t floating around somewhere. 👍🏻

Amazon returns made easy but God forbid you have to print something here... $3 fee for a email... AN EMAIL! FedEx has free email so why cant UPS 🤔 I understand the print fee cause that uses supplies but emails are a free electronic paperless service what justifies a $3 fee to send an email.

Had some sensitive documents that required notarizing. I appreciated the notories not going through my personal documents and being too nosy....focusing on me, the customer, and not their cell phone or having personal conversations about others, etc. I especially appreciated the DIVERSITY represented (so far) at this establishment. Where do I begin…We wanted to buy a box to check in a rack as luggage on the plane and showed the packaging expert the dimensions on our mobile phone. Then she came with two different boxes that were much too small, the dimensions of which did not even approximate the size of the object to be sent. (As if she really had no idea about dimensions and the available boxes in their range). We then took the rack out of the car to show it so that they could measure it on the spot. Then they offered us a solution of $165 just for packing, which was more than the value of the rack. The materials only (DIY) were $90, so we chose this option. When they then came with the boxes, I was shocked: they were gigantic and this time out of proportion to the rack to be sent, but we had already paid for them and had already been in the store for 20. When we packed the rack ourselves at home, it turned out that we could pack it twice with 1 box. So we were sold far too much packaging material. Little service and little expertise in this store.
