My boyfriend and I were camping up the road and came by for a day pass at the hot springs for the last few hours of the day. We experienced very friendly service from check-in and the grill/bar. Micaela was making our drinks and made her own recommendations to spruce up our drinks which were delicious!! We went back for another round and even talked to her about how we were on a cross country road trip. She made some suggestions for us which were awesome and she was awesome to talk with. We’ll definitely be coming back again in the future and look forward to the great service and happy community of Pagosa springs! 6/4/24 -Alana&Austin

Went for the day. A treatment comes with 2 hours of hot springs and sauna use - a great deal, overall, considering the quality. Quiet, kid-free, absolutely lovely. Next time Im in Palm Springs I would gladly stay here!

Perfect destination for a serene spa resort getaway for adults! 3 heated mineral water pools, of varying temperatures, are open 24 hours to guests. Infrared, with Color Therapy, Sauna and Finnish Sauna are available 24 hours to guests, as well. Spa services (by appointment) available on the resort.Thank you so much Tammy for the phenomenal massage!!! I’ll definitely be returning here for more spa services with Tammy!I highly recommend this resort as a tranquil recalibration space. The front gate gate is always locked and there are only 11 rooms in the entire resort so it feels very safe and comfortable. It’s like it’s own little bubble of peace. Guests are asked to speak quietly and stay off cellphones. It was a very rejuvenating and relaxing stay for me and I truly felt better after my stay here. Thank you to all the staff who make this place possible! I highly recommend this place and will be returning here as often as possible!

I love it here, haven’t visited in a few years and went yesterday for lymphatic drainage massage. It was so wonderful that I fell asleep and after have had great results so far. The staff is so kind and welcoming, was a little worried because I’m recovering from lyme and have some physical issues. The views are gorgeous, there are fragrant desert flowers blooming that you get a hint of them when walking. The pools are magical and restorative. This is really a place for those in the know. I ordered a fruit plate for after my massage, it was beautifully arranged with fresh fruit and nuts, highly recommend it. There is also a perfect nap spot under the palm trees for later in the day. The staff at The Spring Resort & Spa are incredible.From the moment we spoke with Kim on the phone to confirm our reservation and make inquiry to our Welcome and Tour of the property and multitude of amenities and Checkout we were treated with dignity and outstanding professionalism.Although our room was rather smallish and sparse, it had a mini fridge and air conditioner, which were truly essential for our two-night stay.The Saunas (infrared and traditional dry) were excellent and truly made a difference.The Mineral Pools were outstanding, each being a separate temperature and size and were incredibly refreshing to luxuriate in.Though the resort is a quiet/whisper zone I was more than happy to jam my headphones and enjoy a wonderfully sunny afternoon poolside with my cadillac margaritas.As guests we were afforded 24 hour access to ALL of the amenities including the living room if we felt the need for more space to enjoy.I loved that everything such as dining, pharmacy and grocery are all just a couple of minutes away.The location in North Desert Hot Springs also gave us the chance to enjoy a short *(1½ hour) hike in the foothills as well as to see the Historic Cabots Indian Pueblo which REALLY made our trip memorable!!Definitely recommend this world-class Spa and Resort if you desire PEACE, CALM, QUIETUDE and Amazing Service.

We got to The Spring Resort & Spa and felt like we were in the perfect place for the occasion, we visited the area for the first time for a Rock Festival Powertrip, in Indio. So the Spring Resort was just what we needed to relax, unwind, get quiet time, recharge and go back since it was a 3 day event. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the bed super comfortable, room is just the right size, the amenities are incredible, there are 2 hot tubs, an outdoor pool, sauna, the breakfast is nice, fresh fruit, hardboiled eggs, jam, butter, sliced Pumpernickel bread, Sunflower and Rye, coffee, milk, juice, til 10:30am. the living room with ice and water is open 24 hours, as well as all other amenities, I regret I only stayed for 3 days, when I return, I am def. staying longer. So worthed and we had an amazing time! And a Huge PLUS! - Tesla Charger on site! This was just the cherry on top!

The resort was not maintained, the room had dirty caked on dust on doors and baseboards and hinges. Doors had dirty black handprints, top shower has a small spider nest with crowding spiders all over, obviously no one has cleaned for a while.The bathroom has no AC so if you go be ready to enjoy a hot hot sauna and sweet while you use bathroom. Pool not clean no one cleans it through the day the guest are the ones putting time and effort to clean. The hot tubs have dirty filters with rust marks and black dirt. The one hut tub has a color of mud not appealing looks like it’s broken dirty water in it.The only good thing is the spa massage therapist where Absolutely Amazing, friendly and caring and gave a perfect treatment.Sad that a place like this is so run down!The two pool noodles that they provide look nasty and dirty. I’ve watched many people touch them and they were never disinfected. Omg!

Wonderful location, beautiful well maintained grounds. Clean and comfortable Changing and shower areas. Enjoyed my 50 min springs signature massage as well as soaking in the mineral pools and sauna. We booked a week-end special in which we would get a $50 gift certificate towards any spa service plus vouchers for the outlets. We also booked the 2 bedroom villa. The villa was cute but it was not directly on the grounds with the resort. You had to walk a bit to get to the resort. It was chilly when we went so we chose to drive back and forth which was not ideal when you are wet from swimming or carrying breakfast back. Also, one of the bedrooms had a broken screen and all night long the wind was blowing the screen up against the window making a loud noise keeping my sister awake. She ended up sleeping on the couch. The next day we spoke with the front office staff and played the video we took of the noise the screen was making. She did not seem interested and under played the situation. Upon check out, they emailed us our final bill. When i got home, I noticed that they did not use our $50 gift certificate for our spa service and we never got our outlet vouchers that was also part of the special. I called the resort and the manager said she would call me back. She never did. The next day, I called the resort again, and again, the manager said she will call me back. And again, she never did. The only reason why I didnt give this place a one star is because the beds were comfortable, they served a continental breakfast, and it was clean. But for not compensating us for not being able to use one of the bedrooms and for not giving us our $50 gift certificate or vouchers, and the villa being off the property, and the management never calling me back, I choose to only give them two stars.

We had been coming to the springs for years but never again. Maria the old owner now runs azure Palms which is a much better choice for a hot spring resort experience. The new owner throws money into renovations but only hires people without experience. Earlier this year they had an amazing GM and a spa manager that was so knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. So of course they both quit. Now the place has a horrible rude manager. The Owner uses it as a play place for his family and friends. Every guest I spoke to said they had issues with their spa appointments, their billing, and even just getting basic information from the staff. The manager was the worst of all. He acted like he was the best thing that ever happened to the place, talking about his big ideas while cussing every sentence, and talking down about the owner and the staff. It really took away from the boutique experience you come for. I have never had a more rude experience than with him and the very young front desk girl. There was no attention to detail. It was very slow yet the staff was running around like the place was on fire, being short with other guests, and not able to offer the most basic services or answer any questions. They didnt even seem to have the slightest idea about the spa services. extremely disappointing.

Hospitality is top notch here! We truly felt like valued guests. Very clean and quaint. There are only 11 rooms so the pools never feel crowded. Its also nice to have limited guests because you get to know the other guests quickly and its got a little community vibe. More of a retreat feel than a hotel. we didnt book our spa in advance and wished we did because the slots were all booked up. Book in advance! Love the people and the place. Highly recommend it!

Sadly our experience wasnt as good as the first time we visited and this will be probably be our last. We were given an early check in and when we arrived the previous guest in our room was offered late check out and did not leave until 2:00. The hot desert sun either spoiled or melted our food since we werent able to put it in our rooms fridge. During our stay we booked room 9, chaise lounge chairs are directly in front of each room, other guests are able to sit in those and take away your privacy. We often found day pass or guests from their off site villa camping in front of our room. When we asked management about the loud guests in front of the room all they said was is seating is first come first serve. Its directly in front of our glass front door which gave up the somewhat privacy. The overall quality of the facilities and staff have gone down since our last visit. Yard and pool maintenance was being done with the sprinklers being turned on and off throughout the days and the pool, bath, and jacuzzi all were cloudy and jacuzzi even closed. On our last day we woke up to guest from the off site villa celebrating and woke us up at 6:00am, again management didnt do anything. On the last day we were offered late check out to rectify the check in mess when we arrived, we received a knock at our door informing us checkout was at 11:00. After we informed the lady we were offered late check out since our early check in was not offered this was to make up for that. We were not believed and she said she will be back if that is the truth.

Already started to plan a trip back to the Spring. It provided a truly relaxing experience with three mineral pools, two of them were heated and one nicely cool. The continental breakfast was a bonus but you do need to bring food for lunch or dinner as most restaurants are in the Palm Spring area ( some Mexican in the local area). We had the room with a stone soaking tub which we spent a great deal of time in. I especially enjoyed the quietness of the resort and the landscaping was magnificent. This is not a large swanky posh resort but does provide that intimate feel which is exactly what we were looking for. I had a massage by Renee and it was fantastic!

I usually don’t leave reviews unless the service was terrible. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this place was horrible considering it is a boutique resort and spa. Where do I start…on my way there, Melanie, the receptionist, waits three hours to call me back when I had a basic question about the spa services and after leaving her 2 voice messages to start things out.The next day, manager decided to do loud renovations like cut the palm trees and replace mattresses and they actually asked us to leave our room so they could replace our mattress which was an inconvenience considering that they are supposed to be a quiet and intimate place for relaxation. In addition, my friend and I wanted to upgrade to the Villa that same day and they kept saying they would call us and let us know when we could check in and that call never came in. I must have visited the receptionist 20 times during my two day visit. Once they checked us in late at the Villa, we had requested a later check out the next day because we wanted to fully take advantage of the Villa and again they said they would call us back and that call never came in so we had to walk five minutes away to again talk to the receptionist. Lastly, my friend and I wanted to split the bill for the two night stay and they screwed up our charges and again I had to call them and fix this matter.Bottom line— There are plenty of other resort and spas in the area and I would highly recommend you checking those out. The rooms need serious upgrades, the pools are dirty, and the staff and management were very unprofessional and inexperienced! The spa services like the Colonics and facial were the only highlights of this trip. For all these inconsistencies, We got a voucher to return for an extra day but after the credit card mix up at the end, we will NOT be returning!!!

We had a wonderful time at the resort. It was clean and cozy and has a very thing we needed for a retreat. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. The soaking rub and the sauna room were my favorite. I highly recommend this place.

DO NOT VISIT. The place looks nothing like the photos. Its a dump in DHS, just like most of the places there. The dry sauna and steam room were both not working during our visit. Showers are co-ed and almost like using a public restroom. Towels are not soft. Massage by Carina was great. Then a few months later they charged my credit card because they thought they forgot to originally charge me for the visit. What spa charges a credit card without calling the customer first? Especially after three months had passed since the visit. I had to call my credit card company and the spa and the spring resort employees were not even sorry or willing to say they made a mistake. Again, do not visit this dump. Kudos to Carina tho. I hope she finds a better place to work.

Came here in 2015 to have my 1st experience here and let me tell you my second experience here in 2022 is even better ! Some of the pools were closed and they are doing some construction, but the staff is so friendly. The sound bath with zebra was so relaxing (it’s a must when coming here )we got a drink at the canteen from Mariah who by the way is so funny, she loves her job and we adored seeing that ! Then we had a tasty lunch from the bear foot grill made by Vanessa who shares my same name so that was cool and she also from the same home town as me, And Yoli, definitely a smile I won’t forget . Food was well prepared and out quickly ( have to try the green chili burger!!) we can’t wait to come back in spring .

We visited the area during the height of the down season -- the one week of the year most spas are closed and undergoing renovations. The Spring was also undergoing renovations. It recently changed ownership, but the new owners did their very best to accommodate us (we had to cancel a FL vacation due to Irma and they were trying to help us make the best of our trip), and let us book massage appointments as they hoped the renovations would be complete by the time we arrived. Unfortunately, the renovations were taking a bit longer than expected, but the management team was wonderful to call us and update us with progress. Because of how lovely they were, we decided to give it a go and show up to our appointments. As had been communicated, the renovations were still underway, and since the resort is smaller than I expected, it didnt make for the most relaxing environment. The new owners were LOVELY and completely understood our hesitation. They offered to give us a room for the day, and offered to move us over to another nearby hot spring resort. Ultimately we decided massages werent in our future that day, but I cannot say how WONDERFUL The Spring was to work with and how they tried to go above and beyond to accommodate us. I would not hesitate AT ALL to return to The Spring for a massage or to stay there on our next visit. They are putting in some awesome looking private soaking tubs for some of the rooms, and I think this will be a great place to stay!!! The owners and management team are WONDERFUL and so hospitable, I cant see how you wouldnt have a great experience there. They even gave us an excellent dinner recommendation -- Spencers is as delicious as they promised!!

This place is perfect. Youre going to stay here for the hot springs with a resort-like atmosphere. Dont go if youre like one of the reviewers that is expecting something recently renovated with extra space for your ten piece luggage set. Its an old building thats been a few years ago. Sure this place has quirks, but its got great staff, no crowds, and enough relaxation to blow your mind.

The room definitely needed an upgrade(crack in shower wall, paint peeling off, super creaky door, outdated fixtures), and needed some improvements(hair clog in drain, shower head calcium build-up), but it has old-school charm. The low ceilings felt a bit cramped, but having the kitchen was nice, although we could barely see with the dim lights.The staff were super friendly and professional and the other guests were friendly and seemed very relaxed.

We stayed in Villa A. As soon as I stepped foot on the property my tension and stress melted away. The beds and pillows were amazing. The robes were perfect.The water in the refrigerator when we arrived was a perfect touch. And of course the best part was the pools. I felt like goldilocks trying to find the perfect pool. I spent hours each day soaking up all the minerals. By the end of the first day, most of my body pains had melted away. I cant wait to travel back. I feel like this should be a twice a year trip. And...we had great sunrise and sunset everyday.Updated...I have now visited 2 times and both times stayed in Villa A. The first time we were there everything was exceptional. The first stay was in October 2019. The second stay was in April 2022. For the second stay, things had deteriorated a bit. The pools and spas were dirty some days which inhibited me from entering. The breakfast was subpar. The robes were old, stained and torn. The bed and pillows were not as comfortable as they were before. These were the things I was looking forward to and werent as quality as before. I still enjoyed the stay and all my stresses melted away but I would think about going to another spa instead.

We didnt stay at the resort, but we came for something called a sound bath during the evening and had access to all spa services for a couple hours. This place screams peace and relaxation. Even with about a dozen guests in the area, it was silent. People were very respectful of that. I would highly recommend the sound bath in particular. Im not into spiritual healing at all, but it was a very relaxing and bizarrely cool experience.

Great Stay. We picked this place based on the glowing reviews in TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. We stayed a room with a small but functional galley kitchen since Desert Hot Springs doesnt have good restaurants that we could find. The pools are clean and its a nice mix up with 3 pools or varying temps. The Spa is great. My wife loved the dry sauna but it was too hot for me (140 degrees). We both had massages which were excellent. The included breakfast is simple but great, especially if you dont have a kitchen. The staff was well trained, polite and ever helpful. The place is small (I think 12 rooms) so it doesnt feel crowded. Of course no children are allowed and even though the place was full, we never felt crowded in the pools or Spa. Its a laid back vibe where the guests pretty much lounge around in robes.

We originally booked with another hotel but due to a snafu ended up here. What a welcome surprise as we pulled up to a serene, well-landscaped oasis. Everything about this quaint resort is aesthetically pleasing and calming. The other guests speak in hushed, respectful voices and all are able to relax with relative privacy. We spent every morning and evening swimming in the pool, marinating in the hot tubs and sizzling in the sauna. I often found myself gazing at the various plants and decor and planning how to add a similar vibe to our own home. We intend to make this an annual trip to relax, recharge our batteries and escape from the hectic city life.

Lovely grounds, cozy little 16 room resort. Three hot springs of varying temperatures, the medium temperature one of which is enclosed, which makes it nice on chilly or windy nights. Our room has a little kitchen too, which was handy. Friendly staff, healthy pools, definitely going back again!

This is a wonderful place to rejuvenate, relax, and soak. 3 pools with the swimming pool being the coldest at 88F. The hottest pool is also a Jacuzzi. One of the pools is located inside the gazebo that feels very cozy and private. There were barely any people when we were there, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The Finnish sauna is small but you can put water over the rocks. Teas selection and hot water available 24 hours.Breakfast is served from 8-10-ish in a cozy lounge area with a fireplace.They offer body services and also hold scheduled detox and wellness events. Stayed two nights here, midweek. Sorry that I cannot give more stars; we wanted so much to like this resort. We read a review that stated how comfortable their bed was... So not the case for us. Our king size bed was one of those warn out trampoline beds. When your partner moves, you bounce.I didnt think I would mind day users; however, this being such a small and intimate place, it really seemed overcrowded with so many of them. I was annoyed by the number of people who came in together with back packs and took over the small bit of green grass to do their yoga.I think I had it when 7 women who obviously all knew each other, brought up two extra chairs to the fire pit area, monopolizing the space and chatting it up.Will not return.

I had a terrible experience here. First off they got my dates wrong and called me to re-confirm the date I wanted along with my package. I also requested a female therapist and they assured me everything was good to go. They then got the confirmation email wrong and to top it off they canceled on me two hours before saying the male therapist in charge of my treatment had a family emergency but I specifically requested a female. They didn’t offer any consolation and I did not want to rebook after so many mess ups. Thankfully I got into the ritz and had a wonderful experience so this all turned out for the best. 0/10 would recommend.

What a wonderful experience! Everything about this place contributes toward their mission to transport each guest through a quiet, reflective, inner journey to peace, tranquility, and harmony. I loved: the relaxing soft music that greeted me as I entered my room, the toiletries scented in bamboo lemongrass, mint thyme, yuzu bergamot, and lavender lime, the hummingbirds that whispered good morning while soaking in the hot tub, sitting next to the fireplace while nibbling on breakfast of sweet cantaloupe, papaya, dates, and walnuts, not to mention the cage-free eggs, and strolling through the well-manicured, beautiful grounds finding yet another nook to take a reflective moment...and I havent even mentioned the three pools of mineral rich heated water, which I was able to enjoy most of the time all by myself! The best part was how everyone used whispered voices and most of the time we were the only ones in the pool. This place is a hidden gem and an ideal place to experience an inner journey while indulging all of your senses!

The website makes this place look more modern than it is. There is no sign directing you to the office when you first get there. Staff very nice. Breakfast more than ample. The three pools were very comfortable with baskets of fresh towels always full. Pretty landscaping. BUT...the room had only baskets under a bench to use instead of dresser. Bed and pillows soft and cozy. If you prefer firmness, look somewhere else. Bathroom very tiny. My husband is tall and while sitting on the toilet his knees almost touched the wall in front of him. You can tell that this was a larger unit subdivided in two because you can see on the concrete floor where the old toilet was placed. No place to put your toiletries. Small refridge in the small closet is a plus. The door to the next room is locked but offers no noise control. We were connected to a unit that had a kitchen. With no insulation in this old building, we heard their conversations, pots and drawers banging and smelled the burned onions for the dinner. Next, we visited the dry sauna, which was free. Our complaint is that there were salt markings on the wood walls where sweaty people had leaned against them. The water in the pools was luxurious but the price they charge per night was outrageous. If you decide to visit this spa be prepared to park some where on the street because there are not enough designated spaces in front per unit.

We went to visit some friends who were staying there. Its $50 for a day pass to use the facilities or free if you buy a 60 min + spa treatment. Since the spa treatments are moderately priced, we went with the spa option. Treat Yo self! It made for a very nice relaxing visit. I was very happy with the service, quality, and calming ambience.

This review is specifically for the spa - we had a whole day of treatments planned at least a month in advance at the spring, only to be canceled on two hours before our appointment time because of a family emergency. This would have been fine and understandable but the desk person said our male therapist had a family emergency, when we specifically requested a female therapist multiple times. Before the cancelation, the spring also messed up our dates to be two weeks earlier than it should have been. All of this could have easily been fixed, but they made ZERO effort to make it right or reschedule and were even mean about it when I was very understanding of the whole situation. The lack of effort to fix the situation really rubbed us the wrong way, and even though we were looking forward to the spa package I would not trust the spring to handle my spa vacation.

For the most part, guests were quiet around the pools, but there always seems to be ONE who loves to talk endlessly above a soft tone with no respect for others peace and relaxation. Womens locker room small and only for changing. If someone likes privacy for changing, theyll lock the door and then youll have to wait. Inconvenient. Plus there is no sink in changing room, no blow dryer, no lotion, no mouthwash...All those little things no one wants to lug to a spa if you want to dress and go out from here. There is only one unisex bathroom, toilet and sink. So you basically have to take a shower in one place, use the sink in another and change in another. My skin scrub and massage was fair. I was scrubbed so hard that I developed a rash for a week after. This was a special occasion gift with friends so I certainly didnt wish to complain to them.

We have stayed in desert hot springs for last 2 weeks at various spa retreats. This is by far the finist and Im excited to leave a very positive review. 1st impression with welcoming staff exceeded all thier competition. They continued to bend our minds with guest relations and the completely relaxing atmosphere. When booking our treatments we put the arrangements in the caring hands of Lorali and she hooked us up with the magicman/ massuer DJ. ( cannot recomend him enough) He was both talented and caring. Our entire experience was both amazing and healing. I cannot say enough about this place. Big bonus here is that the mineral baths are not douced with clorine like thier competition! This is a biggy for us because we really did need healing in our bodies, without the excessive chemicals, you actually feel the healing mineral Waters .we rebooked our christmas dinner here because we want all our friends to experience THE SPRING & thier awesome staff. The rooms are fairly priced with thier competition but the service exceeds all of them. Out of the 4 places we have stayed in Palm desert, this is the only stay worth reviewing. I took my bf for his bday & we loved it! Their naturally heated salt water pools felt amazing, & I loved that we didnt smell like chlorine. The resort is small & intimate- which I loved, the landscape & room decor was beautiful & desert-chic, & there was no TV in the room (which I FN LOVE!) They had one in their communal living room, but the bedroom are built for relaxation & fun- not screens. We got the kitchenette with the fridge/oven/stove top/table for 2. The pool/jacuzzi is 24hr access & they have an infrared sauna. Their masseuse, Dale, was BOMB! I got the combo massage w/acupressure & it helped w/my fibromyalgia pain sooo much! Plus theyre a 30-40 minute drive to joshua tree if you like stargazing. I only wish it were a tiny bit easier on my pockets, but it was perfect for a mini getaway.. As soon as covid-19 guidelines (and our wallets) permit, were going back- hopefully for more than 2 nights.

We loved The Spring, for many years. But now it has video cameras all over the place - the opposite of intimate, private and secluded. We love the staff and the new owner seems wonderful but the surveillance takes the place in the wrong direction. If it didnt have video monitors everywhere Id give it a perfect score, but until that vibe is gone it will be weird there.

If you are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay for the weekend - this is the place for you. There are no children allowed, no TVs in the room and you rarely see people yak on their phones. Comfortable room with amazingly soft bedding, total zen atmosphere all around. Hang out by the pool throughout the day, read a book, chat with the other guests..relax. At night - drive into downtown Palm Springs for dinner and after that ...stop by the casino for drinks and a little gambling. The Spring has a full spa menu with massages, facials and all kinds of treatments that are all worth exploring.

NOT FOR YOUNG COUPLES!!! Nobody under 65-70 very awkward. Needed a little R&R so decided to give this place a try. Booked for 3 nights, left after first night. Staff turned from a semi warm smile to a cold policy talking employee when we asked to cancel.Cameras are everywhere.More like a motel someone tried to turn into hotel. You are greeted with a security entry where you have to be buzzed in and had to wait. Not a lot of parking and had to park up on the street. Neighborhood is a little trashy so we were worried about our car, which is why they probably have a locked front door with a security buzz in doorbell.Super small rooms, we received room #6. Noisy heater wall unit, refrigerator in the closet? I literally broke my toe walking into metal bed frame which extends past bed and down to floor, no place to unpack and put stuff, toilet so close to wall there’s not a lot of room for your legs, refrigerator in closet. (See pictures I posted in the photo section)The only nice thing we’re the pools but those were occupied by seniors who looked all grumpy and annoyed. We won’t be back. Again, if your in your 20’s to 40’s I’d recommend somewhere else. Overall experience was terrible. Obviously will not return

We used to love this little place, and would visit once a year. This time, however, we arrived to find video cameras absolutely everywhere. We enjoyed The Spring for its intimacy and privacy, and this doesnt seem like the appropriate direction for the experience they are trying to cultivate. PROS:1. If your looking for experienced estheticians, the staff at the Springs Resort and Spa are top notch. I have a lot of massages from very talented maseuses and a whole host of spa treatments and the Springs Resort is using great products and is right up there with the big spas.2. The place is clean and quiet.3. Beds and bedding are phenomenally soft and comfortable. You will sleep well here.4. Very sweet staff.5. Good Wi-Fi.6. Breakfast consists of flavored and non flavored Greek yogurt, granola, coffee, tea, a selection of fruits, cage-free boiled eggs, and a selection of breads.7. Grounds are nicely maintained.8. Affordable!CONS:1. When I first walked into the resort I felt like I had checked into a converted old, one story motel with a big concrete pool in the middle. I seriously was wondering how I could get out my reservation. (I was told by a local that all of the spas in the area are quite old and have been updated over time. As this is the only spa I have been to in Southern California this might just be the way it is here. When you think about it, its rather quaint.)2. The rooms are minimal. My king bed room had no desk, chair, or couch. Ive come to expect this in the most basic of hotel rooms. So keep this in mind when booking yours reservation if you need to do any desk work such as on your computer because sitting on the bed with your laptop will start to bother your back after a while. There is room for a desk and chair in this basic room but for some reason they didnt utilize the extra space.3. In the bathroom, the vanity area to put your makeup and face cleaning sundries is a small, glass shelf and irritatingly minimal especially when they use this already constricted space to hold their complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, and lotion.4. When you are around the pool, or sunbathing, there is zero privacy.5. Soaking in their 3 areas of mineral water is not so therapeutic as the added chlorine dries out your skin. It is a state law that they must put chlorine in these pools so if you want a true mineral water experience I would suggest booking one of the two rooms that have a private courtyard with an outdoor, concrete bath tub you can fill with pure unchlorinated mineral water. There are blinds you can pull for privacy but, comically, they are see-through! They need some drapes you can pull for privacy .OVER ALL:This spa grew on me especially when I experienced the talented spa staff. I would return and I would even recommend it to friends but not without warning them of the initial shock when expecting stunning spa grounds and instead being greeted with the glaring, concrete pool and the overly basic, almost depressing rooms. They have done a lot to update a tired place and are well on their way to really making a person feel pampered.

The environment is peaceful and relaxing, the staff is very professional and accomodating, and the facilities have several little alcoves to relax.
