2024-06-06 21:28:50I hated what happened to me. I had a Laminectomy at the S. B. Surgery center 7 days later i went for my post op and pus was leaking everywhere on me and my clothes. I went home cleaned up and was told to rush to Cottage hospital for emergency surgery. Turned out there was some kind of bug that went inside of me when the incision was made. I spent 3 months with a pic line but 2 weeks in the hospital because that infection was ao bad. Now they want to 7,000$ I had insurance and we paid. 2,5000 is interest. Please make sure when having any kind of surgery you are in a hospital. I learned my lesson. By the way, because of that im physically disabled.

2021-01-05 22:30:37I have been a patient with Spine and Ortho center in Santa Maria for just over a year. Everyone is always so caring, cheerful and professional every time I see them weather it be in person or on phone. They show true compassion and genuinely care about you. This also holds true for the Carrillo surgery center. Everyone makes you feels so comfortable and at ease the minute you get there. It is a very clean facility. I recommend them to everyone I know who may need help with very high praise.

2021-03-30 22:52:13I have been a patient at The Spine and Orthopedic Center for several years. The staff in general is very friendly and nice. I think Dr. Hartman has been a FABULOUS addition to the staff. He shows genuine concern about your condition and thoroughly explains the treatment options. He is accommodating in scheduling. I am grateful to be under his care.

2021-06-14 18:10:41I met Dr Hartman and his staff back in April for a consult. After 2 surgeries, injections, pain medicine management that failed I decided to see him.To my amazement he had my MRI pulled up, went over it with me and the gave me options. As a former horsewoman, I became a volunteer. One of the duties was carrying buckets of water and putting out camp fires. After three weekends of this I woke up and could not walk. Screaming pain.I wanted to share a small part of my background to show you what Dr. Hartman was dealing with.I made a decision to go ahead with an Spinal Implant Stimulator. Nate took over the programming and without my knowledge he was my round the clock reach out guy (sorry Nate). Dr. Hartmans staff in the OR all the rises and anesthesiologist were seem less.So before my surgery DAMIEN was my go to person. He walked me through every step. Took every call, and actually had a real person, no a voice mail. There was a mix up on one of my pre ops and he found it was labeled wrong. HE took the time to find this doctor and had it corrected iASAP. My surgery depended on these results and as we all have busy schedules, he got the test reprocessed!!!! As a former surgical assistant in a very busy practice I understand his role and I am so grateful to Dr. Hartmans staff. Damien is amazing. His techs that doing the programming are amazing. I have had a tough time and ended up meeting Ben his rep and had my stimulator reprogrammed ASAP.My calls to his office, appointments made, they understand and they all in their way feel like family. This the kind of doctor we cant let go from San Luis Obispo. Thank you, each and every one of you and Lauren for allowing me to share my review.

2020-12-16 17:07:07When I started going to The Spine and Orthopedic almost 2 years ago, I was a bit nervous. I have a workers comp case and I thought I would get treated poorly and not be heard. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They really do care about their patients; from the receptionist to the doctors. I would highly recommend The Spine and Orthopedic to anyone.

2022-11-29 02:03:56Dr. Moelleken fused L3-L4. Post surgery, I didnt even need a walker to walk or ascend/descend stairs. The surgery was to address severe pain that I had in the right-side of my back. Since surgery the pain is completely gone. Thank you Dr. Moelleken!!!

2021-03-02 01:50:00The day of my visit, the pain management doctor, Zhang, seemed to be very concerned about any bad reactions to the procedure, as in times past it caused an elevated heart rate. His judgement was solid, and because of this I ended up not getting the epidural for my neck for which I was thankful.
