We have had such great experiences at SELFTAPE Creative Studios. We needed several self tapes over a concentrated block of time and we were so pleased with the quality and professionalism we found there. In addition to the high quality tapes we received, Jason is an excellent coach and reader and made the self tape process so easy. I loved using the online booking feature and the whole taping process was smooth from beginning to end. I highly recommend SELFTAPE Creative Studios and rate it 5 stars.

I cannot rate the SELFTAPE CREATIVE STUDIO high enough!! The prices charged at The SELFTAPE Creative are totally reasonable. Jason and his staff are not about just running a business. They truly care about the people they work with. They want to see their actors succeed. My son has booked network and lead roles out of The SELFTAPE studio.My first impression of Jason and his studio was when I was in a pinch. My son needed to do a tape and we were in the airport leaving NYC to fly to LA. Jason made arrangements to open his studio for us special and did not charge us more for doing so. I have been to a number of studios who have charged us if they even agreed to open up early or stay a little later. The fact that I had called 7 other studios and Jason was the only one who called me right back said A LOT! There was no question I was not going to take my son anywhere else going forward.The SELFTAPE Creative studio has gone above and beyond in more than that one circumstance. The staff have met with my son via phone and skype to rehearse before an audition as early as 7AM and have also figured out ways to make it so we can record across coasts and the tape is as high quality as if we were in the same room.The coaching my son receives at the SELFTAPE is the best. They are real professionals; They know how to coach, act and they know what casting directors are looking for. The studios available at the SELFTAPE have everything you need. They have VR, sound studios and multiple recording studios. The post-production set up has multiple monitors and the tapes are sent directly to casting.I live in NYC and often am in LA with my son. We have been to over 15 self-tape studios and The SELFTAPE is by far the MOST professional. The rates are actually better than most others because there are no additional costs for rush jobs, coaching, etc. How can any complain about this???They deserve the 5 Star record they have.

Okayyyyyyy!!!! THE SELFTAPE is no joke! if you want quality selftapes, professional help, and to completely up your game, this is where you need to come to. I know I sound like a commercial, but Im speaking facts. THE SELFTAPE Creative Studios is owned by Jason Montgomery who is fantastic. Jason use to be a casting director, so he understands what casting is looking for, but he also understands the craft of acting very well.I have literally gone to every self tape place in LA (Im not kidding) and hands down this is the best place. And of course THE SELFTAPE has copy cats out there so watch out, theyre not the same.There are two locations, one in WeHo and one location in The Valley, and both locations are fantastic with industry PROFESSIONALS to work with you, that know what they are doing, in an actual studios space and not someones apartment.Okay Im almost done. Working with The SELFTAPE is honestly like taking a private acting class. You will learn so so so much. Your work will really develop. Ive seen it in my own work from when I started with The Selftapes to now.Lastly, they have the most reasonable costs. You will get the best bang for your buck.Im there on the regular and Im so happy I found them.

Whenever I do a selftape with Jason at THE SELFTAPE Creative Studios, I get a callback. Jason knows how to coach you to shine in any given role and the proof is in the results. In fact, Ive even had multiple instances where the CDs or directors in the callbacks compliment me on the tape. Id highly recommend Jason and this studio to anyone!

Best Self Tape place in town! Ive been coming here for years and Jason and his crew are super professional and incredibly kind and thoughtful. I strongly recommend this place, you wont regret it! Also, the quality of the tape is fantastic!

I moved to LA recently from Canada and I was recommended to this place to do my tapings after I tried a couple of places out around Hollywood I really didnt like (Cough Cough Creation Station) and Im so glad I was!! They have a beautiful, fun and relaxed set up that make professional quality tapes but made me feel at ease. The readers there are well trained, give great notes and are working professional actors or ex casting! Its such a relief to act on a tape with another actor, it makes my work so much better and they know how to give notes that speak my language!But by far the best few thing about this place is the turn around time. You get your tape edited before you leave the session. So good for last minute auditions! Also you can request certain readers and whether you want a male of female, I havent seen anywhere else that does that. I know my boyfriend complains that he has a really hard time connecting with intimate love scenes when he is reading opposite a big burley man haha! I mean why give yourself more obstacles when taping.Overall 10/10, five gold stars for this whole place, can not recommend more. PS my favorite reader is Demitra, shes the bomb- very thoughtful notes, great to read with!

Jason is amazing. This is the best self tape experience that I have had. The first time I used the self tape studio, I booked a feature film. Thank you again and I promise that anyone who uses the self tape studio will not be disappointed.

I’ve been taping with Jason for last few years when I’m down in LA and am always really happy with the quality of my tapes!! Jason always makes time for me when I have a busy schedule and is super fun to tape with!

I’ve been to a variety of different studios to record my self tapes for auditions and voice overs, and the Self Tape creative studio has been the most professional by far - This as well as many positives aspects like good lighting a good atmosphere all around. I fully reccomend recording your self tapes here at this studio.
