100% recommend these guys!We have an airb&b and the pump(s) for our pool had quit working.I called MULTIPLE electricians (because the company that cleans our pool said it was an issue with the breakers, not the pumps)The “electricians”……..- “well, if your breaker is trippin’ it’s doing what it’s supposed to”Another, “I work under the table, can you pay me cash”Several others didn’t bother returning my call or just said, “I don’t work on pool equipment”If you want a knowledgeable, reliable, honest (& I don’t trust many people), responsive, friendly, reasonably priced company that will get the job done, then give Cody a call and he’ll send Charlie out to take care of what needs to be repaired.Charlie fixed a leak he discovered, got our pool lights working, wired the pump up to operate a waterfall feature we have & programmed everything on the timer to run more efficiently.I’ll be calling Charlie for future repairs/maintenance!He also kept me informed via text as to what was going on or when he would arrive. Communication is important & he has that dialed in!Thanks guys, you got everything up & running for when our guests arrive this weekend 🤙

Nothing like walking into a new store not knowing very much and getting superb customer service and making me feel right at home. Vince the store manager was ready to analyze my water sample and give me the breakdown of what’s going on and what we need to be prepared for with a new pool. He gave me a sample bottle so I can bring back another sample next week and then we can map out what chemicals are needed and how to keep the pool healthy for the family.10/10 will be back again and thank you for making this not a scary or overwhelming process and for the great hospitality. I found Cody on Next Door. His reviews were great and at this point I was frustrated with our current pool service not being able to quote us for equipment replacement. Our equipment was original and over 20 yrs old. It had been leaking increasingly more daily. I called Cody he came the same day to assess our issue. I knew we probably needed new equipment. By the next week we had new equipment and control board which never worked properly. We are very happy with Cody’s knowledge and professionalism. In fact we were so impressed and pleased with his work that he is now doing our weekly service.

The Pool Supply Store recently repaired a pool sweep for me and installed a MasterTemp 300K BTU heater. As a former contractor, city inspector and pool & spa designer, I have dealt with many, many contractors in San Diego County over 40 yrs.This company has impressive knowledge of the pool industry, & are service minded. Cody & Charlie performed a very professional heater install in a timely manner which is working fine.Vince works in the store and has a wealth of knowledge & advice. (A former Leslie Pool Tech) He repaired my Pool Vac XL same day service & it works like new. I have no reservations recommending this five star team for pool service work & supplies. After my former pool service of 15 years quit without telling me my pool became greener than my lawn. Made contact with Cody who took care of the issue. He explained the problem, corrected the chemical imbalance. and got the pool back to blue. Cody made multiple visits until the situation was right. I was having nightmares about getting my pool fixed based on a horrible experience with another pool company. Excellent service and very professional! I had my old DE filter and broken pump replaced along with getting my green pool back in shape by Cody and Charlie. I had multiple people look at my pool situation and many ended up wanting me to drain out the pool but Cody and Charlie told me that draining out will be detrimental and told me that they can get the pool back in shape without draining. True to their word my pool is sparkly clean now. They are very competent, slotted me in between their busy schedules making as many trips necessary and above all explaining to me in detail what they were doing and what is needed for me to maintain my pool on my own.

I met Cody because he performed some simple warranty work on my pool. I quickly found out he has his own pool supply store and an awesome business model which is set up to help home owners take care of their own pool. He is a class act and has been very patient with all my questions while I learn to take care of my pool. Once I got to his store I met Vince, who runs the store and is also a class act. Vince has been a god send. I go in there almost weekly to test my water and learn as much as I can. There are pool supply stores much closer to my house but I make the longer drive because I love talking with Vince and his detailed customer service. He’s answered all my questions and given great advice. Most importantly he’s helped build my confidence so that I’m able to take care of my own pool.

This review will echo the other 5-Star reviews!Bought this house in Dec 22 and inherited the pool problems: bad water, water flow issues, spa draining when pump was off, etc. Visited other local pool stores (who couldnt help) before discovering The Pool Supply Store. Through Vinces tutelage, I was able to cure ALL of my pool problems. Vince IS a wealth of knowledge and has no problem sharing it all! Thank you, Vince!So yesterday, my pool pump motor died. Today, Im heading straight to Vince at The Pool Supply Store for parts, repair, or to do whatever else he suggests! Believe me, this is the place to go for anything pool if you live in Escondido or its surrounds.

The team at Pool supply Escondido is really truly a hometown local business. They are amazing. I had my pool all sparkly always. All of a sudden things went south that I couldn’t manage or get a handle on. Cody came out to check on things for a very reasonable price. I was gouged for anything else as I know the cost amd prices of items from taking care of my pool on my own. His team was so nice and realistic to help get my pool back on track. Even a few phone calls to then office Vince is so knowledgeable and Chris is like this chemist explaining that I could understand. All these guys made it comfortable to come to my yard. Very sociable and efficient in all they do. Thanks Pool supply in helping me make my pool inviting again. They are now my go to for all my supplies. No more waste on big box stores. Pool supply is a great local loyal place that has my business from now on.

Vince is the real reason I keep revisiting the store, a true, real life experienced expert whos been there, done that. He speaks the language of science, chemistry and engineering - the key components of a healthy working pool.Vince wont sell you something you wont need - he has infact talked me out of a few purchases that I thought I needed but he proved I did not. The Pool Supply Store is something special. They offer much more than a place to buy pool supplies or arrange for service. I just bought a home where the pool and equipment had been neglected for a real long time. It was a mess.Vince took me on as a project. His experience and common sense approach helped me focus in on the right priorities and saved me $$ thousands by guiding me to take on many of the tasks myself. You don’t get that at the big name stores. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot in the process and made a friend I can trust.Thanks!

We are new home owners and never owned a pool before, therefore, this was very helpful. He was patient and explained all to us. George has been doing the weekly service and has been doing a great job. I like the weekly report we get after pool has been serviced. I dont write reviews, but Cody the owner and Vince just saved me a bundle of cash. I had an over current fault on my motor and my normal pool guy said he would have to replace the pump for $1900! Thats because of a lack of parts due to COVID. I have seen pumps apart from my days in the Navy and decided to take the pump apart. I called around and everyone wanted to sell me a new pump, but some didnt even have a pump and my grandkids were coming! I called Cody (the owner) and he wasnt even interested in selling me a pump. He looked at pictures I sent and suggested that I try to piece together my pump with some old motors he had ready for the trash. When I went to pick one up to try and salvage my old motor, Vince helped me for quite some time explaining what some options were and how to go about repairing my own pump. After buying about $200 in parts and great advice, I was able to get my pump back up and running! These guys were great and it saved me big time. If you have even a little mechanical/electrical skills try them. You will be amazed!

We switched to The Pool Supply Store a few months back and are totally satisfied with their services. The attention to detail of their work is top notch and the weekly status emails were something I didnt think Id appreciate as much as I do. I really dig that they hook up an attachment with rollers to the vacuum tube and clean up all the bottom debris. It totally gives our pool a brand new and clean look. Finally, I greatly appreciate how well they communicate. I highly recommend them.

After 21 years of struggling with my inground vinyl pool I finally went to pool supplies and met Vince. Vince helped me slay the dragon that hung over my head working toward pool clarity and no frogs. I have been to Leslie‘s over and over again and they just kept shaking their heads not knowing what to do. Then, a customer there told me I should go to pool supplies And talk to Vince. Best advice I’ve ever gotten. Vince was generous with his time and information! He is so knowledgeable about chemistry and what to do with certain problems. I can never thank him enough!!! Had the Hayward VS 950 installed in September 2022 by Leslie’s. During this last rain, water got into the control panel and the LCD screen went blank. Pump still operated, but I was unable to control or set anything. Not sure if it was a bad install or a bad seal on the unit. Reached out to Leslies and they referred me to Hayward direct. Hayward directed me to The Pool Supply Store as a factory authorized service center. Came in contact with Cody and set an appt up the next day. Cody diagnosed the issue and returned the following business day with a new control panel. I can’t recall of an issue or service of any kind, on any type of product I’ve ever bought that was handled so well. Very positive experience dealing with The Pool Supply Store.

Im very hard to impress. I bought a house with a pool (my 1st pool) 2 months ago. Nothing but problems. We kept the previous homeowners pool service company. While i hear they are a good reputable company, i wasnt impressed. I moved on to another pool guy who did a serviceable job. No complaints. But then i met The Pool Supply Store. These guys blew me away with their knowledge and knowhow. I will forever be a customer of theirs. They went way above and beyond the call of duty. Within a few hours they repaired everything that was faulty with my pool system and had it as good as new. I 100 percent recommend these guys.
