This has been the best self-service pet wash I have been to! I was referred to The Pet Wash by a friend. I have two small-ish dogs that needed a bath, a Shih Tzu mix (long hair) and a Frenchie mix (short hair). I was able to wash both dogs in a private room within a super reasonable amount of time (including blow dry which takes me the longest). The price point is super reasonable for the facility and accessories they provide. The staff is super friendly and helpful and made my first visit wonderful! I am definitely coming back!!!

I have been coming to The Pet Wash since I found my big spoiled baby at 5 months old. Thomas, the owner was very helpful in helping me determine what she was mixed with, and he and the staff have taken great care of her ever since. 14 years later, she is still going strong, and we are still coming to The Pet Wash. Though the staff has changed, the care and concern and service that they give, has remained exemplary throughout.If youre looking for a place to do a self wash, or your baby, like mine is just way too big and youd rather leave it to the professionals, this is the place to go. Easy parking, great prices, excellent staff. You wont be disappointed

Pet wash is the best in town. I do the self wash, $20 bucks each for my small poodle. No more back pain leaning over the tub. Super easy to wash. They have everything ready for you. Staff workers are the best in the business!

This is not a pet Grooming facility but a self washing. When I read the reviews the were completely erroniace, especially when I made the appt with the young woman who charged me a $150.00 for both of our kids. I sent a picture which she asked to see so she would show the person who would groo them. First, the place is dirty & unkept; second the is no gentle care but get them out as soon as possible. Our girls face was totally destroyed. I will post a picture if I can.. Stay away if you want a professional to care for your babies. The first 2 pictures are how she was mangled & cut her nose then side of her face. 3rd picture is what I sent 4 days before their appt. The girl who did the schedule said she was too busy to show the picture of how they were groomed before.

Today was my first visit with my dog for a self service wash. It was so easy and convenient! I enjoyed having a private space for my dog because she does get a little nervous. The private area was clean and had everything I needed..shampoo, conditioner, ear wash, blow dryer, towels. I highly recommend and I will be back!

I am extremely happy with the service at Pet Wash. They did an amazing job with my geriatric dogs. My washer was incredibly kind and sweet, very gentle and patient. Everyone there is loving and takes care of the dogs as if they are their own. This place is truly a gem!

I love the Pet Wash! For one my Pup doesn’t get crated and sat at the groomers all day long. Second, my dog gets one of the best haircuts she has ever received. The staff is very friendly. Marlene does amazing on my dogs haircuts. 10 ⭐️ for The Pet Wash!

The Pet Wash is awesome. I brought my 1 year old pup for the first time and he did great. The facility is clean. Flor was great, super helpful, and welcoming. Everything is provided for you, shampoos, conditioner, brushes, towels, and a drying station. We will definitely be back.

This place is great 👍. I bring my Akita here for the self serve dog wash. You get a room of your own with steps for your pup to walk into the tub, hydro wash so you get spray the shampoo or conditioner on directly through the water hose. Powerful dog dryers and supplies for ear cleaning. Reasonable prices too. Chloe looks great after her bath.

I have been coming to this place since we adopted our husky last year. Today was the first time my 50 lb girl gave me a hard time getting up the ramp to get a bath. Tried treats but no dice. I was about to give up but the employee came right over said were here to help! Let me help you! And proceeded to pick up my dog and do what I could not. After I was done washing, I asked about a sanitary trim and planning to schedule for another time but they girl was able to grab her supplies and help me out right there. Stellar service and great prices. The place is always clean and a good experience. Highly recommend!

The absolute best customer service and pet wash in the South Bay Area, I am so happy! My pup came out all excited and happy, he smells wonderful, they trimmed his nails and he received the added teeth cleaning. I’m so excited I found a new place to take my morkie. Such a great experience at the Pet Wash! Everyone was extremely kind and professional. Goldens can be tricky to groom and cut but they did a fantastic job! My pup Sunny looks so handsome. And I love that they have a self service wash on Sundays! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Brought in my newly rescued - from the streets - pug Ringo for his first wash today. Its been an expensive few days so I was looking for a reasonably priced cleaning. Opted for the Express Wash and Im very pleased with the results and the overall experience (in and out in 20 minutes). I will be bringing him in monthly plus doing more routine stuff at home. This pet wash is the best!! I bring my big dog here to use their self-wash tubs. Shell a bit of a hand full, so I love that I can bath her myself. A private room, tub, towels, shampoo/conditioner, ear cleaning supplies and brushes are all provided. The tub is raised so Im not hurting my back and my dog likes the nice stairs to get into the tub comfortably! Staff is very friendly and once in a while, my dog gets a treat! Highly recommend!!

Unique shampoo/water delivery system makes cleaning your dogs quick and easy. Conditioner/water also delivered together so need to have to wet and lather by hand. High power dryer makes the last step also easy. $20/dog for self wash is a good deal for the quality of the shampoo/conditioner and the easy delivery system. Will use again.

I only bring my pup here! My dog is very scruffy, and though I love it, it gets out of hand. The first time I brought him here, I thought they switched him with another dog! So handsome! And I love the way they treat him. No cages and also friendly. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I took my dog in and gave pictures for reference and when i came to pick up my dog the groomer said she was soo matted that they had no choice but to shave her. After they shaved her there was still matted hair which tells me they didnt even bother to brush out the hair and trim the coat like i wanted but just shaved her to save time that tells me that the groomer was lazy and didnt want to do the worki will never be coming back to this place ever again!!!!!!!take your pet to a groomer that actually listens to what you wantbefore and after pictures i wanted a trim and the shaving they did was not even clean i absolutely the worst grooming experience ive ever had

They were so kind and so helpful. I got a puppy imported from Korea, picked him up and of course from the 10-hour flight he was a little stinky. I was able to go straight there. Get in right away at the self wash and he was so tiny that they even helped me blow dry him. Thank you guys so much for all the help.

These are selling points taken directly from their website followed by my experience with each-1. THE PET WASH Fast + Easy Bathing System surrounds your dog in a luxurious spray of soothing shampoo, or conditioner infused bubbles that massage away dirt and debris while strengthening & rejuvenating the skin and coat! All this for the low price of $20!This was not an option. There are no hoses with special nozzles that infuse the shampoo into the water. I was expecting to use a snazzy device like Ive seen YouTube groomers use. I had to squirt the shampoo the old fashion way just like at home.2. A grooming table, where you can brush your dogs before and after their bath, as well as cut their nails and dry them.Theres a table with a couple brushes, one of which was just a cheap human brush, but no nail clippers.3. The most powerful hair dryers available!Yes it was powerful but extremely loud and the nozzle kept coming off. The loose nozzle made it much louder and difficult to handle. I was really looking forward to using the dryer and I was very disappointed with how janky it was. You only have 40 minutes so you shouldnt have to repeatedly stop to reattach the nozzle. They shouldnt enforce the time limit if they provide faulty equipment.4. A wide selection of premium shampoos & conditionersI wasnt able to wash my dogs face because they didnt have puppy/ tearless shampoo. I would have brought my own had I known their wide variety didnt include a puppy option.5. Everything you need to wash, dry & pamper your dog, including waterproof aprons, towels, ear cleaner, cotton balls, Q-tips, gloves, nail clippers, scissors, brushes, combs, leave-in coat conditioners, fragrances, and much more!This seems like false advertisement! I saw no gloves, aprons, clippers, scissors or leave in conditioner. They had ear cleaner and q tips/cotton that were pointed out to me but nothing beyond that. I asked about leave in conditioner and was told they had full size products available to purchase. The website makes it seem like single use versions would be included with the $20.Overall, I was very disappointed in the discrepancies between what their website advertised and what was actually available. It absolutely was not worth $20 without a properly functioning dryer, leave in conditioner, nail clippers, scissors and most of all, without the easy bathing system. I thought I was going to give my dog a deep clean bath but it was nothing more than what I can do at home with my bathtub and blow dryer.

Since the pandemic they no longer offer self wash, so I brought my now 13 yr old dog in for her 1st professional groom (we have been coming to do self wash here for 10 years). The groomer, Jessy was so amazing. My dog was very nervous and she moved at my dogs pace to keep her calm. By the end my dog was noticably more relaxed. The treats helped, but it was mostly Jessys expertise and patient demeanor. I can not recommend them enough. They are all phenomenal.

I’m bummed to be writing this since I’ve been coming to this establishment for a very long time, possibly 8 years. Unfortunately it is likely the last day we ever visit due to an incident where we left with my dog’s ear bleeding. According to the groomer, he was freaked out by the blow dryer and as she went to put it away, he tried to get out of the neck sling and his ear got caught in the metal clip that fastens it. While I am understanding that she cannot control his fear, something must’ve been wrong considering that we have had plenty of visits where he hasn’t exhibited that type of behavior and we often left with the groomers raving about how easy of a groom he was/is.Other things to note: I still paid full price when it is clear that she was unable to finish the full job under the circumstances and no compensation was even offered. It’s not something I seek but the gesture outside of just an apology would’ve been nice considering how traumatic it was for my dog (his ear was still bleeding as we walked away and he vomited multiple times during the session from the trauma) and I was too shocked to ask for it when I was there. I also wasn’t notified right away and didn’t find out until he was handed back to me after the scheduled pick up time.Hoping management sees this mostly to let them know to consider implementing safer equipment. I also empathize that this was probably a stressful experience for the groomer as well but something needs to be said and done to make sure this doesn’t happen again for future customers.Pictured is his ear 4 hours after the incident. The black/scabbed spot is the injury, thankfully healing.

Our first visit and it was A-MAZING! Location is near LAX and parking was a breeze. I didn’t know what to expect because this was our visit to a self-wash station and I was prepared to pay out of pocket for shampoos, etc. But everything was included-shampoos, conditioners, aprons, and other grooming necessities! The stations were large, the tub waist-height so no backache from bending down to bathe my pup in the tub. Staff was friendly and showed me how to use everything. And I was done in under 40 minutes! All that for $20- price can’t be beat! It’s near our home in MdR so we will definitely be back!

I have gone to this location for years and have been satisfied up until this point. BUT today is Sunday I checked Google to confirm hours of operation and it said 9am-6pm I arrived at the was by 5:06pm only to be turned away! The man said the last wash is at 5pm. I explained to him that the site did not say that. I also asked if you could just accommodate me since it was indeed 5:06 and online it clearly stated that they close at 6pm and because they were closed on Monday. I went on to let him know it would only take me 25mins to self wash my dog. HE STILL DENIED ME.Very Very Disappointed Pet Wash! If you are not allowing customers to wash at 5pm then perhaps you should change your operating hours to reflect that.

I’ve had two dogs that I take to the pet wash and it’s always a pleasant experience. They provide shampoo, a great wash tub and drying table, clean towels, a blow dryer everything you could need. I do the self wash and I’m in and out in less than 30 minutes with a clean pup. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great friendly dog loving people!

Impressions of our first visit? Staff is A+ friendly and I love that you have your own space to wash your dog. We have a big, old GSD and this was so much easier than bathing him at home. It is first come, first serve but we lucked out in being able to walk right in. 40 min can be tight if you have a fluffy dog to get 100% dry but part of that is user inexperience. In my opinion, being able to use the high velocity dryer alone was worth the $.

My reviews are almost always 5 stars. The reason is I tend to write reviews for places that leave a real good impression. I should know the owners name I go in enough but darn if I cant remember. Anyway he is awesome. Always cheerful, helpful and deserves all the success I believe they get. They carry one brand of dog food Taste of the Wild. It is high quality and fair priced. The self wash is so easy and the nail trimming service is epic. I had the owner do it and my shy pup barely noticed. Good folks deserve good reviews. Why is there always some jerk who has to throw in a 1. We all know this is a 5 star joint. Thanks team you make my visits happy.

Small in the wall dog wash shop, and rough around the edges. The place is wonderful tho! I love how they give each customer enough towels when using the self wash, and my dogs always look forward to the treats they gift also! :) My dogs love coming to this dog wash. The only downside is I hope they can invest in upgrading and improving the soap dispenser system, and fix the ramps on the self wash tubs.

Got an express wash and paw trim for my chicorgi and we were both very happy with the result, the service and the price. We have been coming to The Pet Wash on and off since Frankie was a puppy 15 years ago. I was happy to see that the business had survived the pandemic, although the shop is much quieter and smaller now and just functional, no decor or ambiance. I was also happy to see Edlin who I remember from before. The shop was very low key during our Wed 1pm appt.; it was refreshing to have Edlins full attention and I was relieved because I knew I could trust her to handle my old dog gently. Frankie hates The Healthy Spot and I dont trust PetSmart, so The Pet Wash will be our wash of choice...again!

Me and my boyfriend went here because our husky needed a wash. It was a chilly and windy day (never really have weather like this in Cali) so we couldn’t bathe her outside like we normally do. We decided to see if there was a groomers that allowed us to wash her ourselves and we stumbled upon The Pet Wash. It was less than 15 minutes from where we live so we decided to give it a go. We got there and the staff was really friendly and accommodating. Our husky loved it! She is usually not fussy when it comes to baths but the fact that the water was nice and warm must’ve felt relaxing. They provide you with everything! Shampoo, conditioner, Q tips for their ears, towels, treats and an apron! They also have a blow dryer to help dry your pups out. We were so happy with the service we decided to purchase a VIP package for future washes! Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service, the attendant walk us through out the proper use of the wash station and gave us an extra shampoo or rinse if needed more, we also had a nail trim service and they took care of my dog so good, its the first time she did not bleed at all from using the clippers. I love this place because its close to my home, easy to get to and park. Its affordable but more importantly they keep all doggos clear of each other and inside is warm, the water is warm too, the treat included delicious for my doggo, AND the staff super friendly!! My doggo Ginger and I loved going there!! But Ive also brought another rescue there names Chance. So super easy for stressed out dogs who need to decompress and have enough room to do that in the individual rooms.

I have come here before with my Husky and I was really happy with how he was groomed. I brought my husky and Australian shepherd today to be groomed. We picked them up after an hour because they were ready. We didnt notice when we left that my Aussie was bleeding. After inspecting her paws, she was bleeding a lot. I got home and immediately cleaned it. But its still bleeding. I really liked this place but now I dont recommend anyone coming here. I now have a vet bill because whoever groomed her was not careful. I provided pictures of her wounds. She is bleeding from two paws. Its my huskys 4th birthday and now I have to spend the day at the vet instead of spending it with him. Im beyond upset and am filing a complaint.

Worth it many times over. I have a 65lb Aussie Samoyed that sheds like crazy and to not have to clean up the resulting fur storm of toweling and blow drying is worth the very reasonable price alone. Add to that the unlimited use of cleaning product and its a great savings both in time and money to come here. What usually is a messy one hour affair in the bath tub (including cleaning afterwards) is 35 min wash with the convenience of not having to bend over the whole time. Would highly recommend if you have a hairy dog.

Has everything i need to wash my dog in this self pet wash with personal stations. love the ramps to the bath and the stairs to the grooming table. they offer other services like nail clipping and one of the staff members cut my dogs nails fast and efficiently that he didnt even know they were clipped. parking sucks but that should not deter you. i always use this place.

They were very kind to my dog and seem to genuinely care about animals; while at the same time being very punctual and professional. I usually use the do it yourself wash, but with Covid happening they are only taking drop offs. I was VERY worried because my very elderly dogs are sensitive and need a calm, kind hand. The bath stations are always clean and well stocked with various shampoos. what has great pressure which makes it super easy. There is a park right across the street which is perfect for me being that my dog hates the dryer process so i walk him to air dry. The only thing that sucks is parking. If you go before noon there is available street parking.

My boyfriend and I visited The Pet Wash for the 1st time today, after having a horrible experience at another pet washing facility in Bixby Knolls, which will remain nameless! We were escorted with our black lab to a clean, neat and organized station that supplied 4 types of soap, washing aprons for us, along with clean towels for drying. We were really impressed, and our attendent was pleasant, knowledgable and professional while setting us up to complete our wash. The environment was very clean, colorul and pleasent. Once we were done, the owner spoke to use about the quality of their service and how they take pride in their treatment of their customers pets. This is a great place. For under $20.00, they supply everything you need to bathe a dog (or 2). The only things you supply is the fee & the dog. They even supply the after bath treats - chicken jerky for doggie! You have your choice of shampoos & doggie au de cologne. I have been going for years now & there is rarily a wait for one of their gated wash stalls. I will be going back as soon as the dogs start producing that good doggie odor!

Their staff is more concerned with their own schedules than for the safety and comfort of your pet.Backstory:I was in LA picking up a puppy from LAX. The process took much longer than expected and we did not get the dog until later. The poor puppy had been delayed so long she had soiled her crate and herself. We cleaned her up as best we could and drove to the Pet Wash. We arrived 30 mins before they closed, but 30 mins after their imposed no self bath rule.Given the circumstances and the fact that we had a 6 hour drive home, we begged and pleaded with the staff of the Pet Wash (there were about 5 people just standing about) to allow us to wash off this poor puppy. We offered to clean up the tub and area and even to pay 4x the cost of the bath. We offered to validate our story with airbill receipts so they knew we werent BSing them.The staff refused and turned us away.We were forced to buy gallons of water from the 711 and try to wash her as best we could in the parking lot.Never have I experienced such callous disregard from a business that caters to animals.Had this been you, would you have helped an animal in need? I know I would have.I dont live in the area, so I dont have to threaten to take my business elsewhere. I hope someone who reads this will do that for me. People who are more concerned about some dumb rule rather than helping a suffering animal do not deserve your patronage.THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT CARE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.
