Old town Monrovia is cute and has great vibes. This cafe is just off the beaten path and is definitely a great spot to have breakfast.The granola pancakes are lovely with great flavors. I wish they had had more real maple syrup, but they were running out apparently. The bacon was cooked to perfection!All in all it was good food for a reasonable price, with great serving staff.

This location is in Old Town Monrovia on Colorado between Myrtle and Ivy. It was a unique dining experience. I asked for sides of one egg with cheese and bacon to accompany an ordered waffle. The waffle was served with the sides mixed together in a small fruit bowl. I immediately asked what the fruit bowl mixture was and explained that I didnt order that. They apologized and offered to remake it (send it back to the kitchen). I did not accept the offer. My experiences in those types of instances (as of late), do not end well. I decided to continue with my meal. The waffle was flavorful. The mixture would have been fine except for burnt bacon bits. The prices are competitive. Parking is ample due to free public parking lots.

Such a gem in old town Monrovia! It is not a big restaurant but cozy, and has a very cute cabin decor. What impressed us the most was the service, the entire staff was sweet. Not to mention, coffee was good, and the food we had was tasty. I especially enjoyed the crispy scalloped potatoes, and the Huevos Rancheos was also really good!All in all, it was a great first experience. Will be returning soon!

I visited Peach with my family for breakfast, arriving at 8:30 to avoid the usual crowds. The staff was impressively friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service that deserves a solid five-star rating. I had a disappointing experience at the Peach Cafe in Monrovia that left much to be desired. Firstly, despite a 30-minute wait, our reserved table was given away by the hostess, adding unnecessary frustration to our afternoon. Secondly, another server assured us they would rectify the situation but failed to follow through, leaving us feeling disregarded.To compound matters, when my food finally arrived, it was excessively salty. To my disbelief, I was informed that it couldnt be remade because it was made in batches. No effort was made to apologize or offer any form of compensation for the disappointing meal. Throughout the meal, our server did not bother to check on us for water refills, napkins, or any other assistance we might have needed.To cap off the experience, we were inexplicably handed our check while still eating, a stark contrast to nearby tables who were left undisturbed until they had finished their meals. This inconsistency and lack of basic attentiveness suggest a dire need for better training among the staff.Overall, the Peach Cafe in Monrovia fell short of expectations in service and quality. A simple smile and a sincere apology could have salvaged the experience, but arrogance seemed to prevail. Management should prioritize humility and thorough training to ensure that future customers do not encounter the same disappointments.

Super cute little cafe in Monrovia perfect for brunch! Big parking lot nearby and street parking available. Friendly staff and great service. The menu rotates but if you look at their online menu you can see what people have liked as the most popular food options. Tried the huevos rancheros (great flavor! Delicious Mexican breakfast option) and the B+B (blueberry maple syrup was good but the cinnamon bread had no cinnamon—think it was just French toast. Prices were about as expected. Overall would definitely recommend.

Let me start by saying that the 50 minute wait was worth it! The food and drinks are delicious! My friend and I came here for brunch and ordered a flight of mimosas (guava, strawberry, raspberry, and peach), an iced caramel latte, breakfast panini with a side of potatoes, avocado egg Benedict and to seal our brunch we had a cinnamon roll.For the cinnamon roll I would prefer it with less icing but that’s just me. My friend thought it was good just the way it was. She’s a sweet tooth.Everything was very delicious! The service was excellent. We will definitely return.They have indoor and outdoor dine in.

My sister recommended this place and it did not disappoint! The wait was shorter than they thought it would be and it did not take too long to get the food. There was a delay on espresso beverages since they have to be made one at a time, but they were so nice and made sure to update us.I had a cafe mocha and the Nuts and Bolts. Our server was super nice and answered all of my stupid questions (yes- Andouille is spicy!).Will return if I’m ever back in California!

This is my second time coming here it had been a couple years since. Our server was Angela she was amazing she had a full section and managed to come to us many times throughout the time there we got a nut and bolt breakfast and she recommend the breakfast panini which was amazing Im glad I got it as well as everything else. We also got the bottomless mimosas there and they were great the juice and champagne balance were great and Angela would come by often to ask if we wanted to get more all in all everything was amazing Angela deserves a raise for her efforts, only thing I wish is that I had some cash on me to give her a tip personally for the tremendous service.

The Mocha latte was the best part, but the food was underwhelming considering the 1 hour wait. I asked if it were possible to get the thinner pancakes (not fluffy) and was told yes. But got the exact same pancakes as everyone else. Would have ordered something different if I knew it would be the exact same. Cakes were thick and didn’t come with butter so had to ask, mostly tasted the batter. Staff was pleasant though.

Very cute cafe in a very nice town!We popped into this little gem looking for something my friend and I could share. We stopped in around 11am on a weekday, not sure what to expect since we had not done our research beforehand. We loved it!We shared the Monte Cristo sandwich, which was done to perfection! First time Id had one on a croissant and it was a fun twist, especially with the side of incredible raspberry jam! We opted for the breakfast potatoes on the side, well-done. Everything was just perfect as far as taste, temperature, presentation. Including the hot, strong coffee. We both agreed that there were a good selection of coffee add-ins (various sweeteners and milk etc).This is a small place so it was a bit on the loud side, and since it is a cafe, there was not much space between tables, so be ready to be cozied-up next to other diners. The staff were quick, courteous and efficient. We could see everyone working hard and seemed to all get along. That sometimes seems trivial but when youre a patron in a smaller-sized resto like this, when you can see/hear a lot of what the team members are saying/doing, its a nice feeling when it all seems positive and genuine (as opposed to a team who may be arguing or looking miserable).Suggestions? Maybe take a minute to clean up the bathrooms a bit during peak hours? Not a fan of the up-charge for us to share our meal (not sure adding an additional plate to our table needs to be an up-charge. First time Ive experienced that.)Wheelchair accessible. Off street, free parking. Cute space to sit inside or out.

It was our first time visiting the Peach Cafe with my family, and our experience was disappointing. After taking our order, our waiter disappeared. When our food arrived, we were not given any silverware or napkins and had to ask for them. We ordered the chilaquiles, which were soggy as if they had been sitting out for a while. We also ordered a full portion of the hickory bacon waffles, but only half was served, requiring us to flag down a waiter to bring the rest. Once our order was finally correct, none of the staff checked on us again. While I understand that restaurants can get busy, it wasnt crowded at the time. Please consider hiring more staff or reducing the number of guests if the current staff cannot handle it.

It was great! Parking is street only so you might have to walk a little. We were greeted and seated right away. We were seated outside so it was really hot! Peach cafe has both a breakfast and lunch menu. The lunch menu selection seems a little smaller than the breakfast offerings. They use ham in many of their dishes. Their portions are on the smaller side, so if you like hearty meals, you may want to order side dishes. We ordered the huevos rancheros and the nuts +bolts breakfast. The huevos rancheros was good, I could haved used a little more spiciness. I found the green sauce slightly sour but all in all liked it. I had my eggs poached.

I loved my experience here! Waitress was efficient and friendly. The interior decoration was cute with a vintage look. Their serving sizes were generous. I ordered the peach oven baked pancake and it was so good. I had no idea what to expect, but it was the restaurants special, so I decided to try it. This pancake is more like a cake. It is very soft (lots of eggs were probably used), with pieces of peach inside. The cinnamon drizzle gave it more sweetness. The dish itself was sweet enough that it didnt need any additional syrup, although I did add on some whipped cream (also didnt need that). I was eating dessert for breakfast. And it was HUGE! I had a hard time finishing the entire pancake. My husband had the banana nut pancakes. I think there were 5 pancakes in the dish, with bananas, pecans, and chocolate chips inside and outside. My husband really enjoyed his dish too, although it was dried than my dish and did taste better with syrup.

Great food! Had the chili cheese omelette special today, did NOT disappoint. Ate every last bite!They are busy so come early. The hostess was about to fight the last patron that came in arguing with them about receiving a text. That was a little awkward but we were able to have some fun with it. If you can wrestle me, Ill give you a table! Not a real quote but definitely the vibe she gave off.Definitely need a sign when the kitchen is closed or not seating anymore. For such a popular spot itd help with the confusion of their closing time and lack of seating.Love coming to this place Ive never come near closing time but definitely dont sit outside if you dont want a lot of awkward how many in your party? Yeah we arent taking anymore people. This place is awesome. My friend and I went to the Hermit Falls and stopped here for breakfast afterwards. This place is always packed. You may make reservations the day before if not it could be 15- 30 minute wait. I had an iced chai latte 👍🏻, the OG breakfast sandwich....delicious but hella messy! My friend had the huevos rancheros and the delicious blueberry pancakes 👍🏻. There’s is plenty of parking so that’s good! Staff is super friendly and attentive 👍🏻

We came from City of Hope to meet my momFor breakfast she brought her to go coffee from the hospital. The waitress marched over to our table and told us we could put that in our car or she could throw it away before we could dine. I found that to be ridiculous, petty and small minded. Where’s the customer service? is it really worth running off customers for a $3 cup of coffee sale. We walked to Cafe Olla down the street which ironically is an amazing barista and they welcomed us and our to go coffee. 😃

Finally had a chance to try out this local favorite restaurant. Every time we come here, the wait is too long for us to stick around. Today, I thought it’s a weekday the wait would be short. But I was wrong. It’s 11 o’clock in the morning and our wait is around 50 minutes. Desperately wanting to try this restaurant out. As we read a lot of good things in Yelp and heard our friends raved about this place, we decided to stay and wait it out.50 minutes later, we were seated. Our waitress was very friendly and got us the drinks first. My wife was craving for a beef melt sandwich while I got a quesadilla with avocado. We have to wait for another 30 minutes before our foods came out. Now I understanding why there is such a long wait for seating. I guess the food is not too bad that is why the patrons are willing to wait. My verdict on the food, not bad. Is it worth the wait? Not really. Now we had this place checked on our list for must try restaurants. We are good, don’t want to go to a restaurant to wait for an hour and another 30 minutes for your foods to come out.

I dont usually give 5 stars, but this is a great little place. Probably the best omelet I ever had, close to another favorite I had at a 5 star resort in Cancun. They wait on you family style, meaning all the wait staff takes care of everyone, no specific tables assigned to anyone. The sausage was amazing too, and great coffee that they made sure was hot and full. I am hoping I can come back in the few weeks I am staying in CA.

Read a lot of reviews about this place, so I decided to come by for brunch! I came here at 1:30pm, and this place was crowed! The wait was 30 min! Staff was very friendly and keep checking on us while we were waiting.Ordered bottomless mimosa, chorizo scramble, and B & B.Mimosa: the taste of champagne is too strong, I prefer mimosa with a stronger taste of orange juice instead. Staff will constantly refill your drink!Chorizo scramble: scramble egg was not over cooked. Very favorable. Highly recommended!B & B: French toast with banana and blueberry syrup. It seemed to me that this is a bit lack of flavor and plain. I believed they fired the toast without soaking it in the egg. It tasted like plain toast, not French toast. I am a little disappointed.

Yummy chorizo burrito! Inside the burrito was avocado, potatoes, & cheese. My vanilla latte was also good & my daughter enjoyed her pancakes w/ fresh strawberries. Ive been to The Peach Cafe about 5 times I think. Lunch, dinner, & breakfast, their food is really good w/ lots of flavor! We were a very large party so we called ahead and let them know we were coming. They said “that’s no problem” the manager was then overwhelmed when we showed up, but the wait team rallied around her and got it figured out. Food was tasty and original takes on classic breakfast dishes. Overall a good experience, thankfully the waitstaff responded to the overwhelmed manager.

Was in the area and wanted breakfast, so I googled places to eat . this place popped up and was promising based on reviews I saw. its in old Towne Monrovia. there was no wait time for outside, and about 20min wait to eat inside,the place was pretty packed. The host/server was helpful in recommendations, so I ordered the Monte Cristo with a side of scallop potatoes and a large(small mason jar)orange juice. food came out pretty quick but best my scallop potatoes and monte Cristo was dry and was missing flavor the orange juice didnt seem to be fresh squeezed and was still $6 in total I payed $22 just for myself. staff was extremely friendly and place was nice food was lacking but presntation was good.

Menu changes things up from time to time, wait time is acceptable, food is reasonably priced, and servers are very attentive.Update 03/08/20: takeout order was inexplicably not registered with the kitchen, a 15 minute order for three breakfast items was fulfilled nearly an hour later. Can no longer stand by my past comment two years ago about acceptable timing and attentive servers. If you go here, stay on top of your table time or takeout time. Well not be coming here again for a while, so at least youll have one less party in front of you.

Me and my boyfriend go here fairly often because of their bottomless mimosas and whats a Sunday without mimosas? They are VERY good about refilling them without being prompted. They also have flights of mimosas and they flavors you can do aside from the regular orange juice. The bottomless ones are only the orange juice ones however. The food is good too. I highly recommend the tater tots appetizer. Ive tried a few different things on the menu and all of them are good. A great brunch spot.

Just recently visited this place and I had been excited to visit this place because I always seen my friends and family post about it. However, I was disappointed with the service starting from the very beginning (hostesses to the waitresses). Due to dietary restrictions I wanted to order a smaller plate, but they did not allow me even after mentioning that I had dietary restrictions. When visiting relatives in Monrovia CA, we were delighted with the delicious breakfasts served at PEACH CAFE. My wife ordered the Build Your Own Egg Scramble, with mushrooms, tomatoes, ham, avocado, and a side of fruit. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash with Three Eggs, plus a warm Croissant. Both dishes were outstanding! The Scramble was incredible, perfectly cooked and quickly devoured. My corned beef hash was really meaty and tasty, a real breakfast delight. The croissant was perfectly crispy on the outside and buttery soft on the inside. Our server Laci was outstanding and constantly attentive, and prices were very reasonable. Warm home-town cafe atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

Spent $64 for 4 people. On top of the super long wait time even after arriving 30 minutes past order time for PICKUP, still had to wait an additional 30 minutes for it to be ready. I then take it back to my job as I’m on lunch only to find out then didn’t give us any syrup for two orders of French Toast?? And they forgot my order of wheat toast that was charged to me. When I called to address the issue the girl offers for me to pick it up as if I didn’t think of that on my own. I explained that I cannot as I’m at work and only get one lunch, she then passes me to her manager and the managers offers to reimburse me a whopping $1.25! If this is how they resolve issues they must not know how to do business well if that’s all they’re willing to do. She then hangs up on me. That to me proved that this place is ran by incompetent managers/team such as her. On top of that food was a 6/10. Decent but nothing crazy/special about it. The dry French toast sure didn’t help. Anyways, my first and last time here. I do not recommend.

Peach Cafe is a favorite local spot in Monrovia. Their menu is based on simple comfort food where you can enjoy it at their quaint outdoor and indoor dining area. PC is always full and has a long wait list preCOVID. Thus, never had the audacity and patience to dine in. Today, they just opened for dine-in after months of temporary closure due to COVID. However, tables are placed far apart due to social distancing. I came here for breakfast and sat at the front patio. I ordered the Farm fresh scrambled eggs with a side of pancakes, OJ and coffee. The farm fresh scramble (kale, cherry, baby tomatoes, roasted mushrooms, swiss and avocado) was soft and salubrious. However, the avocado used was not that fresh as evidence by the lackluster green color and in texture. Moreover, their two stacks of pancakes (topped with strawberries) were thin, not fluffy, pillowy and lacks mouthwatering malty flavorless. On the upside was that the syrup used was sweet, dense and translucent. Also, no butter was provided which should come with every pancakes. It’s like Batman without his Robin. Anyway, orange juice (16 oz) was fresh and refreshing. Coffee was brewed perfectly. Staff was amiable and attentive. However, a service staff lacked the foresight to give utensils/napkins without being asked for it. Such a disappointment. Service was moderately fast. Prices were relatively fair. Parking is available and easy. Overall I had a an okay breakfast and lackluster dining experience. I will have second thought of coming back or recommending this place.

The place is very nice cozy, but my only complaint would have to be the staff. The staff is very rude and they do not have a friendly attitude whatsoever. I think it was called The Verde Breakfast Burrito or something like that. Ordered food, and it took just about 30 mins to receive, mind you it was not busy at all, plenty open tables at all times. I ordered my plate without scallions, and..... i got it with scallions. I wanted to try this place out but after the terrible service decided not to. I got there and was quoted a 20 min wait time for a party of 2 (which I was completely fine with). She walked up to us and just said “oh, your table will be ready in a few more minutes” we were literally standing next to the couple and the hostess knew we got there before them. I gave her a confused look and ask politely how the other couple was seated before us? She replied with a “oh that table over there is almost leaving we will clean it down for you” I was shocked that she did not answer my question about giving our table away. I would’ve stayed if she had apologized and had said it was a mistake/miscommunication on their part but that did not happen. All she said was “oh someone else checked them in but your table is almost ready” I didn’t understand why she didn’t have the other couple wait for the other table knowing we got there first. Anyways... for anyone wanting to try this place out please wait by the check in otherwise this might happen to you as I’m not the first that experienced this. Get someone on phones because there’s no reason so put people on hold for almost 30 minutes to take an order. This is after hitting the busy tone for 15 minutes straight . Shame cause this place used to be good. They don’t even have a lot of their food items in stock. Thanks for wasting 45 minutes of my life.

Came here for breakfast after a fun run. SO HUNGRY.It was packed on a Sunday brunch. EXPECTED. But we got out seats eventually.FOOD:*Eggs Benedict on a waffle - This was really good. Very unique. The eggs were done right. I recommend this.* Bourbon sweet potatoes... sounds good, but NO. NOT GOOD. They tasted like baby food. I dont know what baby food taste like as an adult but its probably that. DONT GET IT.* Scallop potatoes: Get this instead of the bourbon. DONT GET THE BOURBON SWEET POTATOES.SERVICE:Half of the service was great. Attentive. The other half seemed to not really care about us... yeah. I got that vibe. Tried joking with the waitress and got no feedback. Nope.AMBIANCE:Cute place. Very squished.PARKING:Tons of parking. Its Monrovia!OVERALL:Meh give and take.

Make sure one of your party comes early to hold a spot in line, as it is almost always a wait to eat here. The food is excellent as well as the coffee, but expect small portion sizes but still good food.

Great service and ambience. Food ok. Child 1 did not like the pancake but child 2 liked it. I thought the pancake were ok. I think the bread is better. Had the corn bread ok, should have had the bread. Bacon was ok. Had the chorizo and egg. Ok, but needed salsa to moisten it. Great selection of hot sauce including a homemade salsa and sriracha.

I came here a few months ago for brunch with a couple friends and was sadly disappointed. I remember really liking this place when I tried it years ago but unfortunately the food we got this time did not meet expectations.I tried the following:* PEACH CAFE BENEDICT: Our hickory-maple waffle, smoked ham, 2 eggs & Mornay cheese sauce-- This was a brunch special and I learned yet again that the classic Eggs Benedict should not be messed with. The waffle was decent but I did not like the cheese sauce that it came with. I have a very meh memory of this dish.* BOURBON SWEET POTATOES: Sweet potatoes cooked up with sugar, butter and a pour of bourbon-- The description sounded good but sadly the execution was not. First off, why are there nuts on top?! Luckily they were just a topping so my friend scooped up the top part and took it for herself (since I have a nut allergy). But I ended up not wanting any of my dish after taking a bite. It was a tasteless mash; my friend (who ordered the same thing) was even tempted to send it back.* SCALLOPED POTATOES: Thin sliced russet potatoes with cream, spices, nutmeg and cheese-- My friend ordered this after tasting the disappointment that was the bourbon sweet potatoes. This is definitely much better; get this if you want a potato side instead of the sweet potatoes.Apart from the disappointing food the cafe is great. Since its in Monrovia there is plenty of free street parking. There was a bit of a wait since this is a popular Sunday brunch spot, but that was to be expected. They have one restroom which is fairly clean. And our server was nice and friendly. Sorry Peach Cafe for having to give you three stars...

Its a small cafe so plan ahead. Theres usually a wait but its worth it. The Huevos Rancheros with chorizo is my favorite.Service is always top notch. Outside patio area just in case you want to bring your fur babies.

Finally I had a chance to try this place. Waiting time to get a table is about an hour then is another hour to get your food. Hostess is unfriendly and has an attitude (reminds me of dmv employees). Maybe because of covid19 or other circumstances or maybe is how this place is all the time. Need inprovement!!!

I got the chicken pesto salad with corn bread. I would give 5 stars for the corn bread and maybe if I was being super generous 3 stars for the salad. The salad was super bland, maybe more dressing would have helped. The sun dried tomatoes had no flavor. I would go back and try something else, because of how good the corn bread was. Maybe they were going for something creative, it sounded really good but fell short.

Came in around 12 lady said it would be a 2 hour wait, I walked away to let my family know they said fine we can wait walked back to the two ladies again I asked them if I can put my name on the list she said no you don’t get it we’re not putting anymore names on the list were done for the day. with a super rude attitude it surprised me to hear her say it in that tone. Oh geez it got me upset will not go there to be served with that type of attitude.

I came for a mid-morning birthday brunch with my friend after years of wanting to give Peach Café a try. While parking was extremely hard to find - right next to the Krikorian theater in Monrovia, there was no wait and we were able to pick our own seats (outdoor or indoor seating).Restaurant ambience is pretty nice. Open drink area where you can watch them make drinks as well as an upper level that leads to the kitchen. There are some small tables and a few long tables and benches for larger parties as well. I really liked the set-up of the café. Very cozy and warm with a familiar and comfortable vibe to it.For the food, I think they have a different menu for the weekends, so I was a little disappointed that I didnt see the Peach Café Benedict on the menu. I opted for the Peach omelet instead, which came with half a waffle. They had a few choices, but I chose the Belgian waffle which comes with strawberries. My friend was vegetarian and ordered some type of egg dish that also came with half a waffle. He asked for blueberries to go with the waffle, and the waitress didnt bat an eye. It would have been nice if she had told us that blueberries were an extra dollar!I thought the omelet was really good. It had smoked ham, peppers, tomato, scallions, and pepper jack. Lots of flavor, and the pepper jack really added a kick to the overall dish. I do think I would be willing to try the omelet again. As for the Belgian waffle - it was really soft and had a salty taste that I wasnt expecting. I didnt really like it, and the strawberries didnt add much to it. It was really dry and not too tasty.Overall, I wouldnt mind coming back. Im glad I tried it once, but I wont be in a hurry to come back.

Peach Café is almost an every Sunday morning ritual. Innovative weekend specials as well as a their regular menu. The restaurant has a bustling vibe similar to a European neighborhood café. The food is great and the staff is attentive but not intrusive. They also have really good coffee to get you going in the morning.We drive from Glendora, its well worth the trip. Keep up the good work.

My husband and i went Peach Cafe this morning. Not happy with the tomatoe soup taste like marinara sauce. I asked for a cup a coffee with cream and whip cream on he side. They charged me for whip cream. I think isUnreasonable. I will never go back.

Tiny place. Place has no area to wait the long times and out of the little space available we were told to move away where as to everyone else who had been there before us were not. The food was ok except for comparison of portion size to other breakfast places, Peach Cafe is lil skimpy for the price point it charges. A breakfast burrito at other place is $11 but uses XL size flour tortilla, loaded w 2x more meat, complete w onions, peppers, potatoes, and chorizo eggs.

Amercian breakfast. Very local spot with customers aging late 30s to 70s. Probably wouldnt come here unless live a clblovk away, starving to eat out. Waffles are soggy, pancakes are super plain and a but undercooked, skillet is soggy, only made the eggs okay. Never coming back. Neat art pieces around. Indoor seating. Dog friendly outdoor patio.
