Such a cute little place! A few tables to relax at, delicious ice cream, and they had hand sanitizer and ice water on hand. I got the Elmos Revenge and Strawberry Shortcake. Both were delicious but Ill have to come back for more Elmos Revenge!

Delicious sweet treats are made here with lots of love!! The sweet person who crafted my shake was very kind and able to recommend flavors that paired well together. I had the Mango and another flavor that she described as tasting like the cinnamony milk after eating french toast crunch. She was right. The mango and this latter flavor paired deliciously together. Definitely recommend a visit if youre in the area or even if its a bit of a drive. A small shop, but a great experience with courteous and attentive staff.

I love this place. They have many ice cream flavors and toppings. I liked ice cream with donut 😋My favorite is “Glazed Donut cake batter Ice Cream”4/5 just because not proper place to seat. Just 2 tables outside the parlor.

Wow, other than this place being a bit small when it’s busy, this place is perfect. Service was great, friendly patient staff with 3 kids it can be a lot. Ice cream was delicious and the donuts were absolutely fresh and everything you want from a donut. Combine the two and it’s simply amazing. I am a sweets person and this gets the thumbs up from me.

Went with a big family group to the Parlir Ice Cream Puffs! Everyone tried something different! The kids all gave their concoctions a big thumbs up!!! The donut ice cream sandwiches, cronuts, were a huge hit!!! And, a couple people tried The Works! All raves!!! Im sure well be back!

Really love this place the idea of it & all. Me & my kids go maybe once or twice a year filling that Sweet Toothache craving....lol But really nice clean small I call hoop spot. You can sit & enjoy, but i think its 2 small tables maybe 3. Counter person cashier always helpful & kind. CHECK em out all flavors, colors, cups, cones, toppings, caramel, chocolate, & all. Hype factor but so good. If driving may want to reconsider it will get messy & stik Cant stop eating it.THANKS....!

Yum yum! I was pleasantly surprised by how fluffy the donut is (better than some donut places I know) and the salted caramel ice cream was very tasty. Would definitely stop by if in the area to try out some of the other unique ice cream flavors! My only complaint is that the powdered sugar on the donut kinda gets everywhere/is messy, but I guess its aesthetically pleasing?

YES YES YES! Gourmet Ice Cream in unusual flavors? Yes! Fresh Donuts? Yes! Crazy Mix Ins? Yes!Thats what I am talking about, I had this shake/donut thing that was out of this world, ice cream, a donut, waffle cone chunks, cocoa krispies, whipped cream, caramel. And there were event more options. Crazy town! Soo good.But if you cant handle crazy sweet, it may not be your jam, but if you have a sweet tooth and are in the area, give it shot!

Absolutely amazing food ❤️ Great idea for a date. My partner & I come here every once in a while & are never disappointed. Even when there is a line (this place is popular for a reason) weve never had to wait very long. Easy 5/5* Ice cream shop. Nothing else like it in town. I came with my mom to get specifically the ice cream puffs. They had no donuts available and they didnt even have the flavor she wanted that was listed on the website. There was only on person manning the entire store and the cash register was giving him tremendous problems. I felt bad but we drove 20 minutes to get the ice cream puffs specifically. We ended up getting two single scoops of ice cream which totaled nine dollars, which is way too much for ice cream in my opinion.

Cute little hole in the wall with good homemade ice cream puffs. Was expecting more ice cream variety but it was still tasty. Theres a wall made of chalk board so you can draw while you hangout and eat your ice cream or drink your shake. They have small avariety of toppings ranging from Oreos, almonds, and cereal to gummy worms etc. Can easily make your dessert too sweet though

Still on my mission to find the best ice cream shop in Sacramento and I enjoyed this place. Some ice cream flavors were out of stock and others were mislabeled causing a bit of confusion. While the cream puff style ice cream was tasty, I would advise you to eat it right away or else it drips all over and becomes a bit of a mess.

Great little spot to get a delicious treat!If youve never had an ice cream donut, youre missing out. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful, theyre happy to give you samples, and I recommend you sample their flavors. I wouldnt say that they switch their flavors very often, however, their flavors are all amazing. I enjoy good flavors over a ton of variety. Pretty inexpensive, I think you should give this place a try if youve been on the fence about it.

I have been to their other location and was thrilled. This location is smaller, and didnt have the flavors we came for (50 Shades of Earl Grey and the Thai Tea). We did order doughnut puffs, and they were really, really melty. The midnight in Paris was a disappointment, it pretty much tasted like a soggy doughnut with not much flavor. Maybe an off day but I wont be back.

Friendly staff and delicious sugar overload. Came here to see what a donut stuffed with ice cream was all about and it was very sweet. I got a glazed donut with everything but the flavor and it was delicious! After a few bites it became a sugar overload so be prepared, either share one or just get ice cream in a cup. You can get unlimited topping for 75 cents more. I didnt get any since I knew it was gonna be too sweet already. Good for sweet tooth moments or special occasions.

I used to always come here and have had great experiences. Recently, they are understaffed and the wait exceeded 15 minutes with only 4 people ahead of us. No greetings when we walked in, no sense of agency. Just a bad experience. We ended up leaving and going to leatherbys lol

Such a fun place to visit if youre even a slight fan of donuts or ice cream, because they do both! The ice cream flavors are excellent and the donuts are also great but getting the donut ice cream sandwich is possibly the best thing to ever happen to dessert. Definitely check them out. Be prepared to sit outside or in your car because theyre taking Covid seriously and sitting inside is not an option.

They need to fix their menu board. The main one only has instructions on how to order the ice cream puffs or scoops. The option for shakes is on a standard peice of paper on the side wall, easily to be missed, which if you did miss, you wouldnt know they offer unique shakes too.

A sweet spot! Tuesday they have their ice creams cheaper. When I first visited this place I was so in love with the combo of donuts and ice cream... my roommates and I made it a regular thing every Tuesday for a month. Their flavors are rich and satisfying and the toppings are paired nicely. I bring every person visiting from out of town here and they always are glad I brought them in.

A delicious desert place. The ice cream is good on its own but when you put the ice cream in the middle of a warm donut, it tastes even better. Be ready for a mess. The ice cream can get a little melted and will drip. You definitely want to eat it at a table or standing up. It is not for the car. The atmosphere is really hip and draws a good crowd. Be ready for a line potentially but it is worth it.

He didn’t hear one of her questions, and when he asked for her to repeat it, she rolled her eyes. Her service was incredibly rude and made us feel unwelcome. Unique flavors of ice cream, I am partial to Green Machine (mint Oreo) or Hello Khalo (Taro, coconut and SC Milk), but they are all awesome. The staff are always friendly and fast. Love coming to this place on Tuesday for their special. All the ice cream flavors are yummy, there isnt one flavor that I do not like. You can have all the toppings you want from fruity pebbles to marshmallow to chocolate sprinkles. So many toppings to chose from. If you want sugar overload, go for the donut ice cream sandwich.

You cant go wrong here. Weve been here a million times and every time its been amazing. I love how its consistently good. Their ice cream is gooey and rich and their donuts melt in your mouth. Its such a good ratio of ice cream to donut too.You pick your flavor ice cream then they work their magic and youre handed a warm donut with cold ice cream. Its around $5 for an ice cream puff, so kinda on the pricey side but you get like a scoop and a half of ice cream be so its worth it.Tonight we got Elmos revenge, Taro, and mint oreo ice cream! yuuuumm! They also have toppings you can add, but we like it plain.Because of covid, everyone is required to wear a mask inside. There is a 5 person max and there are markers on the ground inside to enforce 6 feet distance. For seating there are two benches right the outside the shop and two tables with chairs farther down past the neighboring hair salon.We got there at 9pm tonight (a Thursday) and it was super busy! They had a line outside the door. Im so happy to see this business doing well.I do want to note that there was only one person working there tonight. She looked pretty overwhelmed but was really nice and we didnt feel like she was rushing to just get us out the door.

Its a pretty good combo, but I couldnt taste the flavor of my ice cream very much when eating it inside a donut, which I thought was super ironic because other than plain jane chocolate and vanilla ALL of their flavors were pretty unique. You could probably find these flavors in the store, but they werent your common/standard/expected flavors. I got a tai tea flavored ice cream, which I would LOVE to have in a milkshake next time I go.EDIT: I went back for a milkshake, totally worth it and I will be back again for more!

One of the few places where you can get an donut filled with ice cream... with your choice of a glazed or unglazed donut, about 12 varieties of unique ice cream flavors, unlimited toppings for 50 cents, what more can you ask for? The spot is a little small and can get crammed real quick, but they do have a little bit of outdoor seating available. They also sell scoops of ice cream on a cone and milkshakes for those people that would like something more traditional.

Ive been here at least 5 times with classmates, friends, or family. Im glad they have sorbets as my dad loves the mango flavor and some friends are lactose-intolerant.My favorite is always the Midnight in Paris (tastes like coffee), but there are also those funky flavors like earl grey and green tea for people who are into that. Ive noticed some flavors rotate, so its worthwhile tasting the new ones when they come in.

The ice cream selection is very unique. The donuts and ice cream combo is actually really good. If you do get the works which is a milkshake made of the ice cream you have chosen, I do suggest getting it with nutella. It does make a difference in taste and texture.

I’ve been coming to this place since it’s opened and it seems like every time I go, the price increases. I still come back anyways because it really is good ice cream and a different approach than an average ice cream place. I went there and got two ice cream puffs for $14.75...which is very high for casual dessert. I was aware that ice cream puffs are $5.50 and unlimited toppings are 75¢. Doing the math, that’s $12.50 for two. I got whipped cream on top of my puff and I guess that’s what made the price go up. Meanwhile, there’s nothing notating that there’s these secret premium toppings not included in “unlimited” and neither the ice cream scooper or cashier explained the extra price after it was ordered. When I asked the cashier why the total was so much he THEN explained that whipped cream is extra and offered no sort of refund or apology. I told him that they need to tell people this before they order and he just defended the price in hopes for me to just pay and go away. I work in customer service and know that customer satisfaction is key to success, not being stingy or misleading when representing a small business. This review is over a dollar and some cents but almost $15 for 2 ice cream puffs is extremely overpriced and the customer service was disappointing which is why I won’t be returning.

She loved it!I like the fact its close to other places to eat dinner or lunch, then you can just stop by for dessert. Nothing fancy, but a very unique neighborhood ice cream spot that is worth a bit of a drive. Their claim to fame is unique craft ice cream with toppings placed between the halves of a sliced doughnut. I enjoyed their cookie batter ice cream with bits of waffle cone for topping in the midst of a warm apple fritter with powdered sugar on top. Other members of the family tried other combinations and everyone walked away happy and satisfied. About the only common critique in our household was that it would have been better with a bit more ice cream or a bit less doughnut. The ratio was not perfection for us, but definitely close enough for us to highly recommend to others and to plan to go back again and again. Definitely not your average neighborhood ice cream spot! For it being my first time here I didnt have a good experience. Why? Because I couldnt get what I had ordered because the girl failed to tell me in the beginning there only excepting card payments because they dont have change to give me. I could understand if I had a $50 or $100 bill but I only had a $20 and they didnt have any 1s,5s or $10 bills. Very disappointing to have to leave without my order after driving all the way there in this rain. Well I guess Ill never know what this place.

All of the food at The Parlor is great. They dont change up the ice cream flavors much, if at all, but all the ones Ive had so far have been great! Also, they dont really advertise it, but they usually have churros (check their website).Only real complaint is that a trip to The Parlor can take anywhere from 5 minutes to over half an hour, so if youre in a rush, maybe check if theres a line first! Short of having customers know exactly what they want before getting to the counter, not sure how to fix that.

Their icecream puff is ok, but I go there on Tuesdays for the ice cream special. (2$ a scoop) I have really enjoyed all the flavors I have tried. The employees are friendly & fast. I dont think they have a bathroom, the shop is tiny. They have a few small tables & chairs outside on the patio/sidewalk area. The parking there is horrible, so just be warned, especially on Tuesdays.

Not to mention they should have more ice cream and topping options, The dessert I chose was supposed to be warm melty/gooyish, I asked her to warm my dessert up again, after that it was really good. Went here with the family and to get the salted caramel puff. Didn’t expect to get salty attitude from the employee as well. There are a lot of other jobs available that don’t involve direct contact with customers and this employee probably should look at those jobs. Great job by some young, dollar-smart guys in finding an awesone niche in the dessert world. I admittedly dont know their story, but I do know that the gentleman who were working both times I went, were very helpful, patient, and chill. The shop is pretty tiny on the inside, so I can imagine it gets pretty tight in there on evenings and weekends, especially in summer. There is a wall with chalk paint that can be written and drawn on but its been pretty well filled, and also super high up there. There are funny little faces on the windows so that if someone were standing outside with a camera, they could snap a shot of you with your face against it (or is it vice-versa?) for a silly social-media-of-your-choice post. I dont remember how many flavors they had, at least 9 I am gonna go ahead and guess??? (I can be spacey😑) There were a few in the back, too, as noted by a sign near the register, one of which I want to try, which was something like Earl Grey...ish..I think..? Anyway, the so-pretty purple taro is so yum and I think the other I had was cinnamon...well, it was good, anyway, whatever it was! The first time I went, I had it on a fresh, warm doughnutty, pastry type thing, and almost instantly, the ice cream starts to drip from the warmth of it, so beware - its a messy deal! But thats why they have your back with the handy handi-wipes available on the counter to keep you from sticking to yourself..or their stuff or store or door...And here we are, at the end of our long-winded journey. Please make sure you collect all your belongings when exiting, and do come back and visit again! ..after you go to The Parlor, of course..! ;p
