She was so passionate and considerate. Really listened to our requirements and helped make recommendations and introductions when needed. Her way of communicating just made our day. Such a warm and friendly lady.The taste is pretty good for its price. I finished all of them and only remember to take picture when I got served the ice cream.The volume is more than enough for one person.

We ate at The Old Spaghetti Factory last Thursday and are headed back tonight. I had a sample plate of spaghetti that was absolutely delicious. Our Server was wonderful and seated us in the trolley car. Prices were reasonable and I had enough left over to enjoy again the next day.

Good food, good service. Was a tad warm in the restaurant. We moved, with no visible complaints from the staff, away from the original window booth we had been seated at, to a slightly cooler, near the kitchen, inside one. It was fairly busy, but we made a reservation and did not have to wait more than 3 minutes before being seated. Staff were well dressed, courteous and professional. This was my second and better visit to this restaurant. Thank you for a pleasant evening. Keep up the good work. We will return again. Compared to the Cheesecake Factory, well, this doesnt compare where the service and atmosphere were both miserable a week earlier.

ZERO rating!!!!I took a family member to this restaurant for a special occasion, only to be extremely dissatisfied. Upon arriving, the hostess had a very rude, non-professional personality and should not be working in a restaurant. Zero customer service skills, not friendly, and no smile. She appeared grumpy, and her attire was a bit sloppy.Then we placed our order and waited a long time to get our food. My plate looked like something out of a horror movie, gross and disgusting. I returned it and reordered another item only to get another plate that was horrible, cold, and the chicken tasted like cardboard.The only thing that was good was the dessert. Service was very slow, our waitress got annoyed because we had to return our meal, so she popped an attitude with us.Then, for what we got and what we had to go through, the prices were very high. Its definitely not worth paying the price for horrible food and service. I can see why the restaurant was empty.Save your money and go elsewhere. This place needs to close their door.

I have seen some improvement with staff regarding take out and delivery orders. There is plenty of time for the kitchen to prepare food orders if they get the order from the front of the house. Forgetting orders and telling drivers that it will only take 5 minutes benefits no one. Move your tablet to the back of the house, and please dont put ice cream next to hot spaghetti in the delivery bag.

Had a great family dinner. Jessie was our server and was very accommodating. This historic place has been beautifully kept and is a great place to bring large parties to dine. Is located in the Gaslamp Quarter and you need to prepare for parking in a nearby area then walking to get to the restaurant. The likelihood of finding a parking spot in front of the restaurant is slim. Made a reservation for our party on the website. This is a child & family friendly place.

Overall I thought the meal was a great value and the service and ambiance were very good. My wife and I split a lasagna and added on a side salad for a couple of dollars. We didn’t want leftovers so this was perfect and we were both very full afterwards. We’ll definitely be back again on our next visit to the area.

This place is so fun for kids and the staff were really nice. The waiter was attentive but for the love of God USE SALT!! The kitchen staff is a bunch of kids that were playing around and you could hear them in the dining room. The biggest thing was that nothing had any seasoning at all.

We visited in the late afternoon and made a reservation prior to arriving. We were seated promptly and welcomed by an extremely friendly server. Rosie. We were a party of 8 and she was FANTASTIC! She was so attentive, constantly refilling our drinks and clearing plates.The salads were fresh and the bread warm out of the oven. All menu items were hearty portions and full of flavor. The spumoni at the end of the meal is always delightful. Highly recommend this location!

We ordered take out, meals for 3 people. They said it would be a half hour. We arrived 30 minutes later, the order is not ready. They finally give us the order, we take it back to our hotel. We unpack the food and 1 entire meal is missing. We go back to the restaurant, advise them of the situation and wait more. It has now been an hour and a half since we placed the original order. Their response, “we don’t know how this happened.” We asked for a refund-“we can’t do that, but have a piece of cheesecake.”Absolutely HORRIBLE service- do not recommend. We should have received a full refund- where is customer service?? No one cares!!!

Italian food done right! From the quirky decor and atmosphere to the delicious food, you definitely find a lot to talk about here.The chicken Parmesan and spaghetti were cooked perfectly; the chicken was juicy and full of flavor and the pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente. Meal comes with a side salad; super crunchy and delicious ranch dressing too.The staff here are really friendly and the service was well timed, just the right amount of attentive.Cant wait to come back here to try some of the other tasty looking dishes.

Really great Italian place with your typical dishes that emulate the “authentic” taste as much as it can for not being a super expensive spot or from Vatican City itself. The interior is nicely decorated and is the typical Italianesque design style. There are dozens of seating options both indoor and outdoor and plenty of stalls in the restrooms.The Spinach and Cheese Ravioli is always a reliable option as the meal comes with a soup/salad + dish + desert (choice of vanilla, chocolate, or spumoni) for ~$20. Each plate is around $20 but of course you have more expensive options.Only 4 stars because it’s not “WOW best Italian food ever” but it is great for what it is. I visit here often with my family and it amounts to around $100 each time for four people when we order 3 dishes + 2 sodas + cheese breadsticks (which I HIGHLY recommend as appetizer!)Definitely visit for good food and a nice ambiance!

First time here. We were at the cheesecake factory across the street but they had a 1 hour waiting time so me and my wife came to the old spaghetti factory and were assigned a seat within minutes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, also the food was delicious and very well served. I highly recommend this place.

This place is absolutely delicious. They have a three course meal for a great price. The service here was great, server never left my table with empty drinks and always asked if we wanted more bread without us asking. If you have never been to this location ask to sit in the train. It will add to the experience.

Arrived to the restaurant at approximately 7:40 p.m. on a Wednesday night, with a closing of 9:00 p.m.. Upon entering we were quickly greeted and seated at the first booth upon entering near the bar area. Once seated, we had our placemats which were also the menu. We then proceeded to sit there and wait for almost 15 minutes, when my husband looked at the female working near the bar area and she turned to the gentleman working in the bar and asked him Are you going to take their order? as she knew we were giving them the look. The gentleman finally came to our table to take our order and as I was telling him what I wanted, he turned around to thank some guests and tell them his schedule for when he is working again this week. He then turned back around and completed the order, granted it was only two of us, so we ordered the lasagna for my hubby and I ordered the mizithra cheese and brown butter noodles. We told him that I wanted a salad and my hubby wanted the minestrone soup. He then walked over to the server entry computer and turned around and asked us again to verify what we ordered. We also asked for water, and for bread as soon as possible. We waited for quite awhile for the water as we were thirsty. When the soup and salad was brought out, we had to remind him to please bring us our water. Then bread was delivered to our table, and we asked again for extra napkins. Then after waiting and eating all the bread, we asked for another bread since the bread was already gone. Our food arrived, and we asked for another bread, which took a while as they had to cook it they said. The food was quite delicious, the minestrone soup was a bit salty for my husbands taste, but the noodles and the lasagna were awesome. Very flavorful, and very filling, although he was a little disappointed that the lasagna was smaller than before. The entire time we were eating the entree, the gentleman behind the bar was talking to two customers at the bar, and once they left he had to check his cell phone and do whatever on it, and then started clean up. We constantly had to flag them down to ask for more bread. The female server would walk by us, but never check on us, or ask how everything was or how we were doing. The male server/bartender, never checked in on us and being that he was right across at the bar, it would have been easy. But, the 2 ladies and 1 guy were all too busy joking around and playing around in the front lobby area where the one person scared the front greeter. Later we had to flag them down as the gentleman and the one lady were talking at the bar and basically ask them to please bring us a to go box and to bring our spumani ice cream. Very poor service, considering they were getting ready to close and were not busy at all. I get that we were the last customers in the door this evening, but we still deserve service. I was actually going to order some alcoholic beverages, but because I was never checked upon, I never had the opportunity to place those orders. Their loss, as I did leave a third of my normal tip due to me having to constantly engage in getting any service at the table. Kind of a bummer, as I love eating here, and the food is great, but I guess stay away from closing time when management is less present and they are too busy trying to clean up, then take care of what guests they do have. The only time the female server seemed to notice us, is if my husband looked at them and made eye contact or called them or when I took a selfie with the bar area where she and the bartender were. She managed to point out to him and tell him that I took a picture and he didnt care. I will be contacting a manager tomorrow. We typically have great service here and at other places at closing. Not sure why the ball was dropped so bad tonight. 3 stars for the food and 0 for service tonight.

This was the 4th different OSF we have visited on our journey to eat all 43 in the USA. Our server, Ali along with Gus, were pleasant, charming and the difference maker from a good experience to a great experience. The quality of food was superb and enjoyed by all 4 of us in our party. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with many antique lamps, shades, beds converted to booths and a trolley car. We very much enjoyed our experience. Thank you OSF Rancho Mirage, very memorable and we will be back again!

The food and service is amazing here. It was my first time eating here and I was amazed at how great the food is and how friendly the staff was. Our server was Rosie and she went above and beyond answering our questions about the dishes, making excellent recommendations and even brought us a sample of Mizithra cheese to try, very yummy! We decided on the Spinach Tortellini with Alfredo sauce and Spinach & Cheese Ravioli, which comes with your choice of soup or salad as a starter and vanilla or spumoni ice cream for dessert. For those with an extra sweet tooth, the Cotton Candy Limeade is alright.

Ive wanted to give this place a try and I was disappointed. The restaurant was dead at lunch on a weekend before the holidays. This made the place feel empty and like we were the only customers. I have now had two events at the Rancho Mirage location and each time has been amazing. I held a surprise 50th there 2 years and now my daughter 15th birthday dinner there. One party was a party of over 100 and the other was 27. Both events were amazing but my daughters 15th with a party of 27 had the best service you could have asked for. We had 1 waiter and a helper. Our waiter was Kendra, AMAZING waiter! She took all of our orders, drinks, special drinks, you name it she got it! She brought out the ice cream and cake at the end and it just all flowed so nicely. If you are needing a place for any kind of event that holds a large party this is the place to go in the desert! GREAT service and great food.** If you visit ask for Kendra as a server, you will not be disappointed.**

Our family loves the Spaghetti Factory. We are from San Diego and when we saw there was one in Indian Wells next to our hotel we had to go to this one! We were so disappointed when we came. Our waiter seemed very disoriented. He was very stressed, sweating and running around. He came to our table multiple times asking us the same questions. When our food came out, my order was completely wrong. Wrong pasta and sauce. He never offered to bring me out my correct dish. All he did was bring me out a literal cup full of the sauce I wanted to pour over the incorrect dish. When our tab came, he told us that because of Covid, the restaurant takes all the tips for themselves unless it’s cash then he gets the tip. He was definitely lying to get cash tips and we heard him tell this to every table around us and asked them if they had cash. Everything about the experience was so uncomfortable and we come to Palm Springs a lot, so it’s sad we won’t make this our regular spot.

This Spaghetti Factory is really nice. I wanted to eat outside but they said they wouldnt have the heaters on so it would be cold and it would be too hard for them to get a server out there. So kinda lame, but we enjoyed our time anyway. Our server wasnt super attentive, but he was decent. They also got rid of my favorite appetizer toasted ravioli and they didnt have much for appetizers, and their prices have gone up since I was there last, but I guess most places have done that.

I have eaten at Old Spaghetti Factories all my life from WA to CA, and this is the first time I have ever had a problem with service. Food was perfect as usual, but our waiter was just not attentive. This was our second time to the Rancho Mirage OSF, and we had the same waiter. The first time service was OK with the exception of drink service. This time we were seated after about a 15 minute wait, (even though there were numerous available tables which usually indicates they need more waitstaff). When seated it took awhile to see anyone, but he finally came by and took a drink and appetizer order. Pretty sure they usually drop the yummy sourdough bread at this time but they asked if we wanted any, and of course I said sure! So after awhile he brought the appetizer took the food order, but still no drink from the bar (although he did give us water, and other drinks not from the bar) and still no bread so we asked again and I asked about my drink and my guest asked for sugar and a spoon for her tea. We got our salads and requested bread and my drink and a refill on the tea and sugar and spoon for the tea. The bread did not arrive until after I had finished my salad. When the main courses were served I asked about my drink again and asked for the side of mushroom sauce I ordered, and the side of mushrooms my guest ordered) and at this time we asked for a refill on tea again, along with sugar and a spoon. Finally my drink arrived and another server came with what she said was marsala sauce (which I love, but I wanted mushroom sauce, which she returned with fairly quickly and we asked for the side of mushrooms, which then were delivered and the tea was refilled, and finally our waiter brought us sugar and a spoon after asking again. After dinner we ordered the ice cream and I went to the restroom. When I came back, the table had been somewhat cleared but then the spoons we had were used on the sauces and so no spoons with which to eat the ice cream so we asked for 2 and then got 1, so I stole one from the setup at the table next to us. Really!?! I have been a waiter, so I know this is a tough job, and I like to reward great service, but seriously! How long does it take to put bread and butter and a knife on a board and bring it to the table??? And it wasnt even near busy there, with maybe five or so people at the bar. I crave OSF food, and this building, apparently owned at one time by Bing Crosby (with his star from the Walk of Fame in the entryway), is just gorgeous! But it certainly spoils the experience to have to ask for things several times and wait, and wait.

Surprisingly Good.I had low expectations for this chain restaurant (think Olive Garden), but was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the excellent service.The Caesar Salad was crunchy and very fresh. The fresh baked sourdough bread was chewy and tangy. I ordered the lasagna and the sauce was great, with no oregano to kill the sweet tomato flavors. The spumoni ice cream was as good as I remember from childhood. Prices are moderate and the ambiance is calm and inviting. I would high recommend!

Half of us are currently waitresses ourselves and it absolutely SICKENED us that your corporation takes 40% of their tips if you pay by card! We had a family reunion and the all the others in the party had been there before. Very nice Architecture inside and out was very ornate. High end wooden interior was impressive. The street car that you can eat in looked pretty good. At least 3 tables in it.We had a great bartender while we waiting for the last few to arrive. The inside is decorated very well! I loved everything there! We each ordered something different and we loved all of them. I personally got the potpourri so I could try all 4 sauces and on my preference I would rate Clam Sauce, Meat Sauce, Garlic Parmesan Butter, and lastly Marinera. The next time I go with my family I will be sure to get something with Clam Sauce! My 10yo and 13yo loved the decor and the Vanilla and Spamoni Icecream!

This is a beautiful restaurant that is still family friendly. My kids, 5 & 7 yo, swore they were at Hogwarts! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My kids loved the whole experience. Our server, Odalys, was more than attentive and went above and beyond what most places do. To be honest, as a Sicilian, I wasnt expecting too much here when it came to the food. Just had our second dining experience at The Old Spaghetti Factory. The grandkids picked the place - again. The trolley in the middle is nice, but we didnt get to sit inside it. Our server was very nice and attentive as well. The food is just so-so. Nothing stood out as really good, nor really bad. We didnt care for the house salad dressing, the cheese bread was rather bland and dry, and the sauces on the pasta were just average. If you are forced to go once every 4 years, you will survive, as we did. But dont expect us to go back before mid 2023.

I had the lasagna, it just did not have a good taste to it and not what I remember, I was thinking that they changed some of the ingredients in it. The bread that they serve with the salad, must have been changed, it had no flavor to it as well as the butter. It was my first time here and we (party if 8) were celebrating my mother in laws 60th Birthday. My mother in law made reservations in advance and reserved seating in the Trolley Cart.We all arrived early/on time and had to wait until our reservation time. He was polite, informative and got all of our orders accurate. However the young woman who assisted in bringing our plates needs to be spoken with regarding how to deliver the plates to customers. (She went from behind my mother-n-law and over her head to give her her plate and then proceeded to hand a HOTT plate to my 10yr son!)The food itself was mediocre, nothing special and that was disappointing because I had expected so much more. However the cheese bread appetizer was very good. You also get ice cream for dessert with your dinner but there are only two choices Vanilla or their special ice cream which is vanilla chocolate cherry pistachio (it certainly wasnt for me).We finished received the bill wants waited for Thomas to return because there was a discrepancy on our bill but he never returned. My father n law was tired of waiting so he grabbed the bill and marched into the kitchen lol. He returned in less than a minute and then our adjusted bill a minute or two later. We paid and departed.Overall we were in amazing company so theres time spent was worth it however I do not for see myself returning here.

It was so nice to sit inside in an air conditioned dark place on a hot 100° day out in the desert (Riverside County) vs outside if it were L.A.C. there was less than 25% capacity, the music playing was nice. Some members of my party get served their entrees ten minutes before others, inconsistent food quality, wilted room temperature salads, all of these things combine to make the experience unpleasant. Youre lucky if there is one maybe two food servers working during this time and the wait to get your order or get your food is exceptionally too long. Also they never have anybody at the front, you literally have to go through the restaurant in the search of someone to seat you at a table this is totally ridiculous for an establishment of this nature. Lame. Went because Newport Beach OSF is one of my favorite restaurants. This one needs help. Tuesday night, our waiter was scared, food took forever, do did my second glass of wine. When our salads came at 45minutes we were ready to leave and choose a different restaurants. We ordered gluten free pasta (I know dumb) but they literally sent manager to tell us they were cooking up a new batch we got it 30 min later. So we went in to have lunch and there were multiple problems. Hair in the food,wrong order and the manager was said to me I dont know what to tell you when I asked about everything? Pretty crazy experience to say the least. Probably wont return lol! If you decide to eat there I hope your experience is better than ours.

I had the Lasagna and Fettuccini Alfredo combo. Good but not amazing. Wife loves the spaghetti with mizithra cheese. She orders it every time we go, about once per year. Waiter was very attentive, maybe a little too attentive as he interrupted our conversations more than was necessary. Pricing matched the taste and quality. Not a great value but not a rip-off. I hope to be amazed whenever I go out. It usually doesnt happen. It didnt happen tonight.

I have a brace on my knee and they seated us in the very last table of the restaurant even after I said not to. Service was bad. We kept asking for things that she would forget to bring. We only got 1 butter which was supposed to be garlic but it wasnt. My favorite minestrone soup was only vegetable soup. And our ice cream had more ice in it than my iced tea. Such a terrible experience for the 2 of us

The lasagna I ordered was absolutely delicious. The serving size was perfect, I got full fast. Our party was big but the two waiters still managed to get everything right. Only downfall was that the restaurant was a little warm and it took awhile to get the drinks, other then that, my first experience at the OSF was awesome. Also, the interior furniture is beautiful. Quite a veiw from the inside!

We placed an order online and was told to be ready in 35min. We went to pickup and parked at the designated parking area. We called the restaurant per the sign. We were told to sit back and wait for someone to bring our order but after 10min no one showed up. We went inside and was told they were still working on the order and wait 15 more minutes. 30min we finally got our order. When we got back to our hotel, we noticed they didnt give us the large salad. We called the front desk and the respond was we can go pickup if we still want it and was unable to refund it. So we end up driving up and pickup again after talking to the manager onsite. When we got back to hotel we noticed they didnt provide necessary utensils. So overall this place sucks and would give negative review if I can. Im sure it was one of those off days... But will never step on OSF again...

Worst experience ever. Was our first and last time going to this place. Our server Rachel was beyond disrespectful and even threw our napkins to us and when she seen it bothered me and my sister she then apologized with saying oh Im sorry I didnt mean to throw them like that not even in an apologetic way either. Took my sister there for her birthday just to be treated horrible, food wasnt great either, was cold and burnt bread. Never again.

Went there because my kid loves trains and I knew that they have trains to dine in. In fact they only have one small one, and they wont give wait times for it. Not that big of a deal though. What really sucked was the service. He was so slow in bringing anything out. First, he would not bring us waters though I asked him 3 times. So the soup/salad, appetizer, water, wine, and entree all came out at the same time time. No refills on our soda as he only came back once to ask how we were doing, after roughly 45 minutes into our meal. I then had to go and look for him to ask for our check. What really upset me though was that the server did not take so long because he was busy, it was because he was having conversations with the bartender.

More upscale inside than the name suggests, this long established purveyor of pasta has family friendly food in a warm setting. My spouse had the lasagna, I went for a chicken parmesan which came with a salad and pasta. Both dishes were good, but no threat to your better Italian restaurants. Service was efficient, and although we were clearly not the target demographic it was a good start to a long drive back to AZ from Palm Springs.

My shrimp fettuccini was very good, we had a very large group for a special 80th birthday celebration, with only 1 friendly server running around, then another one came to help with our orders, it didnt seem as if the A/C worked very well, it was too hot & uncomfortable. I had to ask for water 4 times. Before I got up and took it off the servers tray. He needed more help, but he tried his very best, he really did.

What is better than dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory?! I mean you start off with bread and butter, then comes a salad with this amazing pesto ranch dressing, then your ordered plate of pasta, and its all followed by ice cream! My family and I have loved coming here for years...even after we all became vegetarians. Its very vegetarian friendly but probably not the best for vegan options although Im sure they have a couple things like pasta with marinara sauce. They even have a gluten free pasta option which is delicious!

Always a favorite. We went to the old spaghetti factory and set up the bar. We didnt wait and We were taking well care of by the bartender. We each had a different meal I had the chicken parmesan which was a wonderfully crisp fillet with a great marinara sauce on top of it. The spaghetti was done al dente and it was very tasty. One of my dinner mates had the Ive fettuccine Alfredo and stated it was very fresh tasting and creamy. There were no issues getting my electric wheelchair into the bar. This place is nice and open and maneuvering around is easy to do. The restrooms are wide and open and have a separate closet for those in wheelchairs or with other ADA issues. I highly recommend the old spaghetti factory.

I decided to try something other than the spaghetti with Marinara sauce. So I tried the white clam sauce dish . Best choice I made, it some what tasted like alfredo sauce but yet had a little flavor of clam chowder . Severed with a mini loaf bread and butter to slice at your leisure. Mini white loaf was warm with a nice crust on the outside and soft inside.

Went to OSF for a 75 birthday dinner. The service was Amazing. Our waitress Hannah was more than accommodating and going above and beyond making sure my grandkids (3 and 1) had everything the needed while always having a smile on her face.
