I know enough about setting up new routers and maintaining networks to have spent (wasted) many, many hours doing so. After having problems with Spectrum (congestion, and its uncontrollable effects), I finally gave up and took the risk of contacting experts that do this. Fortunately, and I do mean a real blessing, I discovered this company. From the moment Thomas took my call, he spent a generous amount of time asking questions about the situation, and then coming up with options. We scheduled an appointment at the earliest time I was available.Jay, the technician, set up everything and then tested every device to make sure all connected properly. Both Thomas and Jays recommendations for equipment to acquire proved valuable. Later, I had some questions about settings that Thomas was able to resolve remotely through screen sharing.I got far, far more value for the $200 I spent and the time I saved than I could have hoped. Consider this review an enthusiastic recommendation for this company. Im grateful. And, Im done wasting my time trying to be the network technician, Im clearly not!

Over the past two months I have had numerous problems with my laptop. I called various services to no avail. Eventually, I ended up calling The Oaks Computers. I talked to Thomas, the owner. He told me to drop off my laptop and hed have a look. I did, Friday late afternoon. Monday morning I saw a message giving me the diagnostic.(I didnt see it the day before) I gave him the go ahead with the proposal. Later that day I got a message to come pick it up first thing in the morning. My laptop now works perfectly, like brand-new. At the time I also told him that I needed help with hard-wiring the Wi-Fi. He said he could come by to make an estimate and that it was free. I made an appointment. He came on time, checked out the environment and told me what was best to do. I just have to buy a couple of things. I didnt pay anything for him to come over. Thomas is a professional, knows his business, does what he says hell do.Rare these days. I now have a go to service for any problem with my computer. What a relief!

Called around all morning trying to get what seemed to be an easy fix for my laptop with no results. When I called The Oaks he told me to come in and let him look at it. I dropped it off, went to lunch, and before I was done, received a call everything was fixed. Friendly and competent. Great combination and all too rare these days.

The oaks has been our IT at the office for 7+ years what a gem we found!!! Thomas is knowledgeable, efficient in so many different things. I can pick his brains for days. He is kind, patient and always available for us.

My gaming computer had started running slow and then eventually stopped giving video, brought it in for repairs and by the time i got my computer back it was WAY faster than it was when it was brand new and the repair cost was very reasonable.Will recommend to my friends and family
