2024-05-24 22:45:38Upon reserving online, upon arrival, I initially had difficulty locating the parking area and opted to park on the street. The museum presented a challenge in terms of comprehension due to my lack of prior research. The layout appeared somewhat random, yet spacious and well-maintained. Multiple visits may be necessary to fully grasp the diverse art and room themes, each offering unique discoveries and interactive experiences, such as a 3D room with provided glasses. The highlight of the visit was the tea room, where I spent approximately 15-25 minutes. The bird rooms were particularly impressive, featuring a small room and a temple room, with one accessible indoors and the other located outside.

2024-06-25 06:09:12The strangest place Ive been to. Not sure how to describe it other than incredibly odd, like a fever dream nightmare that isnt scary as much as it is off-putting and confusing. If you enjoy David Lynch movies, I think youd enjoy this museum. No pictures allowed

2024-04-13 02:09:21This was… an interesting experience. Rated the cute birds and tea up the top, but the exhibition was quite confusing and I’m not really sure what the vision was. Hard to pick any connecting factors. Also, 3D glasses didn’t work.

2024-04-14 02:59:18We spent hours at this museum. It was well worth the entry fee. Im not sure how to describe this place. Its a dark maze of weird, and questionable, information. Nothing presented is particularly creepy, but the presentation is somewhat unsettling. It is kind of surreal. We loved all of it. Each one of us had a different favorite exhibit. Tea and cookies on the rooftop garden was a nice break between exhibits. The gift shop was more interesting than most, but I wish they offered magnets and/or stickers. If youre looking for something different, strange, unconventional to do--this is it.

2024-06-27 14:52:25I would recommend going in blind! Dont read too much about this place...just let it wash over you, intrigue you, confuse you Such an awesome hidden gem. I went alone and I had the best time.

2023-07-16 21:26:33A museum unlike anything you have ever experienced. Perfectly curated exhibits, a seemingly neverending series of rooms, culminating in tea and cookies on the rooftop courtyard. An absolute must-visit for locals and tourists alike. Affordable, informative, and fun.

2024-02-04 05:06:14Not what I expected but very good, i literally drove out from Orange County just to check it out and was not disappointed- and even if you could take photos it would not do the experience proper justice. Best way to describe it is that it’s the anti-museum- perhaps modern day flea circus- and I totally appreciate over the top tounge in cheek vibe. The Culver City walk is across the street with lots of eateries nearby, make a trek out and have some fun

2024-02-13 05:17:34I loved this museum. The entire space is set up to make you constantly question the validity of what you were seeing and why you are seeing it. It confronts the question of what is significant? and who gets to decide what that significance is. The design is also oddly delightful and mysterious. It was the perfect afternoon with friends.
