The employees there are awesome and knowledgeable. I love the place, cant stop going. Its awesome to play videogames, from Nintendo to Xbox 360. As well as see the history of video games.

This place has an amazing collection of legacy video game consoles and games. The folks at the MADE really love games and are friendly and knowledgeable. This is a place where you can hang out for hours, and there are also amazing free classes.

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Oakland. All of the equipment is in great condition and easy to use. Highly recommend for anyone even remotely interested in gaming history.

I went back in time, I just loved the place. They charge $10 so you can play as many hours as you want, with no time limit, also offer free programming classes for children.

This place was a blast from the past. The video game consoles from gaming history really excited me. The way they set up the TVs with the consoles brought back a bunch of memories. Definitely check it out.

My husband and daughter liked it. We hoped there might be more stand up games. I was bored, but Im not a gamer. I just drove the car for them. They do have nice art work on the walls. I liked the exploded views of the game systems and the various different consoles. I did play a game of worms Armageddon. Classic.

A great place to check out and play a large assortment of video games while being able to enjoy the rich history of the industry.There are also tournaments that occur every so often for popular games, which are a blast to watch.Overall, its a fun and relaxing place to spend a few hours getting your game on, either with friends or family.And with the huge library of titles and systems available, theres no doubt youll find a game you like while probably learning something new about it, as well.

Great place, tons of nostalgia and discoveries of new games I never even heard of before. Free to play consoles are fu. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, enjoyed chatting with them about obscure hardware, they even pulled out a functional Vectrex to show us!

This is more a gaming den than a museum. There are a couple informational wall displays, but otherwise just consoles to play. There are a wide variety of games that cover decades, but no information posted about the consoles or which decade they are with nor who created them. My oldest was really hoping for a video game history exhibit. Figuring out how to play the games was challenging. Very challenging. My family of five, with teenagers, gave up after an hour. If one of us had played the game before we had a chance, but even instructions on getting back to the main menu was not posted and all console are different. It was okay, but with no instructions posted anywhere, it left us frustrated and feeling like with just a little more effort to make this an educational experience along with a gaming den, it could be so much better.

Fantastic museum experience and a must-see for anyone, whether youre a hardcore gamer or casually enjoy the nostalgia. It really has something for everyone - huge libraries of digitally preserved games, an all-PLAYABLE library of consoles (the GameCube startup noise is cheaper than therapy) and tons of gaming art/historical information. They have multiplayer capability for most consoles, so its a great place to take friends or family - nothing better than a good game of Mario Kart.P.S. Have kids? Check out their FREE Saturday lessons - super great and educational framing around games, and the kids always love them!

I loved it here. My husband and I drove from Fresno to Oakland for a medical appointment and decided to make a day out of it. This place is freaking incredible. There is literally every game system here. The guys who worked there were awesome. Super friendly and professional. I would drive the 3 hours again just to come here.

Amazing playable museum of entertainment but with education and history mixed in. Great interactive displays including older video games from the seventies, eighties and nineties. Some more modern systems are also available for play. Extremely fun place, I feel really lucky to have the MADE in our community.

Very cool place. Tons of old Video Game systems hooked up and ready to play. You pay $10 and can play as long as you want. Among the many game systems they have Atari 2600, Vectrix, Nintendo 64, Atari Jaguar, and even some pre-Atari pong type games. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. You need to contact them to change games on a system.

Love this place! The staff are shy but very helpful and they have a great selection of games to play. I wish more people would donate, as my only comment is I wish they were open more days during the week. Great hole in the wall treasure with a lot of cool video game history.

One of our supervisors treated a team of us to a lunch time visit (he basically gave them a donation). You wouldnt even know that this places hosts a collect of old school video games and gaming stations. Whats fun is that youre able to play many of the games. We got a history of video games from the two guys who started this place.

A fascinating little Museum of things people have grown up loving, and a wonderful assortments of systems and games you can actually play (Just ask the friendly staff!)! We played Arcade, SNES, GameCube, and DOS games on our visit, just to give an idea! Introduced my nephew to Oregon Trail!

It’s pretty fun for ten bucks. I was expecting more arcade games but it’s almost exclusively console games. The arcade machines have hundreds of games but it’s hard to find the one you want and, like the pinball museum, the hardware is pretty beat up and hard to work.

I give them “A+” for everything they have done, are doing, for how far they have come and… I wonder how many people realize that MADE does amazing job keeping kids away from streets and give them interests in life to pursue. As first hand witness of those happy kids faces I promise you this is a good place for everyone. I salute volunteers because they must be saints to give so much of them selves to this museum. Please go check it out. It’s worth it.

Really cool place to bring your kids. They have a free programming class and drawing class for kids. The instructors are really good with the kids and its fun. If they have room, the adults can join in, or you can observe what theyre doing.

They are a non-profit museum that stores and exhibits old video games and computers. Going all the way back to the late 70s.You can actually play the old games.

First impressions go along way. Bald staff guy is a creeper. Rather than offer service when I walked in he peered at me, refused my greeting and continued to stare without helping me. Wouldn’t leave my kids around a guy he peers and lurks around. Creepy!

Nostalgia!! One of the few museums that let you touch and use some of the exhibitions. Had fun, staff are all volunteers and you can tell they love video games. We read the history of consoles, then played childhood games from the past. Great time.

Friendly, fun experience! Came here on a work outing and the staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful, and theyve got a huge selection of interactive exhibits (e.g. video game consoles). Great for a party.

I highly recommend this place. It was fun. And you can play the different systems. Also great for educational reasons. The systems are labeled from when they were produced and tells you itshistory. I would definitely go again.

A nice jump back in time. More of a lounge with old games than a classic museum. You can immerse yourself for a few hours in the world of games where playability was more important than graphics. A plus for owners is that many consoles have modifications that allow access to entire game resources via the local network instead of juggling CDs or cartridges.
