This place was the best place to watch The Game! Very peaceful, very professional, nobody was overdoing. Very casual. All you can eat buffet and desert for $70 bucks for adult. 35 for children.

If I could give negative stars - I would!!The Absolute Worst service experience on Mothers Day brunch for a group of 10(including 1 two yr old child) and an ~$1000 bill including $150 in gratuity which was totally undeserved for this level of pathetic service!!- nobody at the reception to usher us in despite a confirmed booking made almost 2-3 weeks in advance. 20 minute wait!- the table cloths were an after-thought and sweeping the floor on each side.- no cutlery on the tables - we had to hunt down forks & knives. despite having meat on the menu - no thoughtfulness of providing steak knives on the tables.- The meat being served was un-cooked from the middle.- water being served in theatre plastic glasses; can you imagine that for $80 per head? Oh we had to flag down the service folks and asked to be served water and take our drink order.- the floor around the buffet counter dirty, disgusting with sauces dropped on the floor - nobody paid any attention to clean up etc- serving-spoons on the buffet counter were sticky and dirty.- Fresh plates not wiped or dried. The plates were dripping of water. How unhygienic and disgusting.- No table clearance - this was a buffet - basic expectation would be for the service team to ensure the table is cleared on time. we had to keep flagging people down. TERRIBLE.If you cant manage an event like this - you shouldnt be organizing them!!

Unique place. Very cool atmosphere. Its a movie theater inside a restaurant inside a movie theater inside a mall inside and outside space!Modern looking decorations modern heat lamps with outdoor seating, but the very unique open bar concept and top that off with a movie theater where you can order food and have it delivered right to your seat!We were there to have some drinks after a business meeting with our team. So about 9 or 10 people.The atmosphere blows you away, however, the food and the drinks are underwhelming. Sorry!Again beautiful concept, great atmosphere, excellent staff, the food needs to up its game to match the decor.

We use to live in San Francisco and traveled to San Mateo just for the fancy movie theater experience. Was a bit sad that we couldnt find something like that out here after we moved far out towards the east bay. Someone recommended this shopping center and my partner looked up what kind of theater this was. We couldnt believe we found what weve been looking for! This will definitely be our go to spot for fancy date nights! The service was also nice, the lady who served us was so kind. Sadly I didnt catch her name, Will definitely come back for more!

The theater is inside The Lot Restaurant, which is inside the mall on the second floor. Excellent customer service. The restaurant is nice. The food and the atmosphere are good too. The restrooms and or store are ADA compliant.

I just had the worst experience at the lot right now. The general manager would not give me his name and would not give me any information on how I can talk to his supervisor about his horrible attitude. He made me feel like Im a loser,bum,homeless, like Im a nobody, very rude,extremely aggressive and argumentative and didnt want to even listen to me as Im trying to have a conversation with him and was assuming whatever he wanted about me. He also lied to me and didnt want me to even stay there he practically kicked me out and refused my business because he said to me twice that he doesnt think I can afford to eat there. I definitely dont suggest anyone go there and deal with that type of disrespect until he is fired. He should not be in the customer service business at all. If they had a zero stars I would have gave him that because be doesnt even deserve a 1 star.

The Lot City Center is a great place to watch your favorite movie while dining on some really scrumptious eats. I went to the last show and was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to order food or get a bar drink. To my surprise, they stayed open even after my movie started to make sure I got whatever I wanted off the full menu. Even had an amazing cocktail. Service was fast and the food was awesome. I’ll be back.

I ordered food and alcohol during a movie and asked for a cup of tap water. Waiter coldly refused with snarky tone that “we don’t serve tap water here”. Really? You make your patrons high and wasted on plain tasting food and expensive drinks and you can’t offer them free water to rehydrate? I hope he enjoyed his free tip, 0.00As far as the theater goes, theater 10 is adjacent to their actual restaurant and they blast dance music Friday evening that we can hear the loud bass beats during the movie.I honestly don’t think it’s worth returning after this experience.

I love the coziness of the theater and it is usually very clean which is nice.They have a good menu selection and staff seemed to have improved a lot over the last few months, with service being quicker and them actually remembering/bringing the full order.The loss of one star is due to mediocre food at high prices...Even the drinks are not that great but priced pretty high for what you get....Also, sometimes the online booking system is faulty when trying to purchase tickets online.Otherwise I do love coming to this theater...

All I want to do is watch a movie. This theater has waiters/waitresses walking thru, a dance club, a bar, and a $32 chicken wings/fries/ beer combo. Thats a deal? Its so overboard.Aside from the distractions, the movie-watching part is great! Beautiful screen and fantastic sound!

Unbelievable how convenient and enjoyable it is to order food from your seat. All staff extremely nice, food and drink was great, seats comfortable. Highly recommend but just be prepared to come a bit early the parking garage is so busy but totally worth it.

One star. Management has started renting out the lobby to presumably anyone with enough cash. This means DJs, obnoxious lighting, and far too many people dancing in the lobby.Normally I wouldnt have a problem with that, but the volume of the music being played extended to being audible DURING the movie inside the theater. Kind of hard to enjoy a movie (that you paid for!!!) when theres thumping bass during any scene quieter than a dull roar action sequence. I confirmed with other people in the theater that they had the same awful time.Absolutely tone deaf move by management that ruined the movie experience for myself and many others for what amounts to short term profits.

Great experience and I am coming back soon! You can order every from your recliner. Real plates and real utensils and cloth napkins are a plus.The food and drinks were delicious and refreshing. Sorry no pics of the food and drinks they didnt last very long because I was hungry and thirsty, they were good though! Order the shrimp tacos they are fire! A club type atmosphere with the bar and live DJ, the sound system is great and the lighting was right on. Believe me yall can get used to it. I cant wait for another movie date with my wife!

The place was really fancy, everything looks incredible and it seems like many people put a lot 9f effort to make the environment really comfortable. Unfortunately the food and the service does not represent the place.We ordered fried calamari that looks like a granola bowl, tasted like salted cardboard and we needed to chew it more times than a bubble gum. When we ask the server to take it away, she didnt even try to apologize but she gave us the opportunity to change it for something else so we did exchange it for a flat bread that was like a pita bread with some cheese without flavor and tomatos on top. And the French fries with truffle and parmesan cheese was just awful.Been honest, the burger was really good... Not incredible but compared with the other options, it was really good.The only thing we really enjoyed were the drinks and the enviroment.BTW, they had just two servers for a lot of people so, we didnt have a good service even though they try to be nice.

A movie theater for adults. This place has a full snack and food menu with an extensive non-alcoholic (including coffee drinks) and wine/beer by the glass or bottle.Awesome that a waitperson comes by and takes your order before the movie starts. But the service is slow for them to bring what you ordered (we had a bottle of bubbly, popcorn, and edamame). Didn’t get what we ordered into way after the movie started.Nice alternative to watching a movie at home - big, comfy recliner chairs (reclines almost horizontally) and a big screen with great sound.Definitely join and become a THE LOT member (it’s free). Member Ticket prices are about the same price as going to a regular movie theater.

Movie theater specific. We have been to the movie theater a few times and had good experiences. This time was an exception. We went to a matinee (11:10- The Color Purple). Once we ordered and the food arrived our order was given to the party below us (there was only one other party besides us in the auditorium). The family started to eat our popcorn before they realized they had given them the wrong order. The server tried giving us the popcorn the other family just touched. We requested a new popcorn since we saw the other family touch it. The server did not want to grant this request and denied the other family touched it (when we all saw them touch it). The server hesitantly “agreed” and walked away with it. If she truly fulfilled our simple request then I would not be writing this review; however, when the server returned she walked through the entry hallway empty handed(which I observed from my seat). She had put the original popcorn at the server station and did not give us a new one. This is not acceptable, especially with all of the viruses going around.

Update 11/28:Been there a few more times. The service was not consistent. I dont recommend ordering food in the theater. You might not get it until the movie is about to be over. The seats are not cleaned after eat showing. You may have to clean the mess yourself. Disappointed that the experience is not improving. I have purchased some vouchers and never received them. Online help went to a void and no way to reach a live person to help.Initiall review:The LOT opened just two months ago. I went here on a Thursday night to check out this place. Not really sure how this place works with a restaurant and a movie theater. You can eat in the restaurant or order food while watching a movie in the comfy recliner. Some just watched the movie. Joining the club saves you a few bucks. I did that online and purchased the movie tickets in person for two. Buying online is a good option and you can select seats too.On a school night, its not crowded. The restaurant and theaters are on the second floor. The restaurant is right in the middle when you get in on either side. We went to sit 20 mins earlier and ordered some food. You just push the button where the menu is to get service. The lady came by after 10 mins to take our order. The menu option seems less than the restaurant. We got the steak taco and kids Mac and cheese. The food came about 15 mins later just when the movie started.The reclining seats are very nice and comfy. Just about anywhere has a good view of the large screen. I like the middle section. On the side, you might get distracted by waitresses taking orders. The recliners vibrate to match the movies sound system. Not if that is just the bass but I like it. You can hear peoples utensils banging on the plates unless people order finger food. Since its not crowded, didnt really noticed much and really enjoyed the movie. If you dont like to get distracted at all, this is not the place for you. Each ticket is not cheapThe food was ok and not a lot of options. I dont think its gourmet for the pice. Would like to see more fusion type of food. Sushi would be great.This place is pricey for movie and food. Expect to pay more. The people there were polite to us. Overall, we had a good time spending big bucks here. Will visit again on a good movie.

Really disappointing in how run down the theatre is. Nothing is vacuumed, the seats are damaged (see pics), service is terrible, and they charge too much for average food. Bathrooms aren’t clean, it’s so strange. Also when booking for seats, I went online and saw only one open seat available. I bought the seat and I was the only one in the theatre….so how many other people couldn’t buy a ticket if they wanted to?

I love that San Ramon has brought this! One of my favorite places now (not that I had one before... At least not here in San Ramon). Their cocktails and wine selection are great. The food is fresh and delicious and they have a little bit of everything. The ambiance is so wonderful! Relaxing yet lively, their music selection is on point, the managers visiting and chatting it up with customers, the attention from the servers, everything is great! If you want to stay and catch a movie, great! Grab your glass of wine, cocktail, or beer, walk into the theater, find your seats and kick your feet up in the comfy recliner seats. Didnt get dinner beforehand, or want another glass of wine, or a snack?? Just push the button on your seat and a server will come and take your order!This is such a great place.... Went for taco Tuesday. Its a little expensive, but its worth it. Its all you can eat taco bar. The food was great. The place is big, plenty of seating. They even had a live salsa merengue band playing. Will definitely be back again soon.

My entire family loves coming here! The service is excellent and while pricey, we enjoy having food delivered to our seats. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the theater. On my last visit, old popcorn was still on the back of the seat and some type of food was smeared on a wall in Theater #7. Only thing that seems to be missing from a perfect experience is a deep and thorough cleaning.

I am very disappointed with this place. My family and I wanted to just have lunch, but the waiter forgot to take our order. After we ordered, it took them around 2 HOURS to serve us our food. My kids were crying because they were so hungry. Luckily, a very kind waitress gave them some snacks for free, this restaurant does not deserve her. If I could leave a zero star review for the restaurant, I would. My boyfriend and I wanted to have dinner yesterday after the wine stroll. We sat down. No one waited on us. I took the menus off the table next to us since I couldnt read the phone. A waiter came over and said, If you want a menu (duh I do) then I can get you one, but those are for the guests coming in now. We knew the guests and shared the menu. This server didnt bring us new menus or offer to take our order. We waited 20 min before flagging down a waitress who took our order and disappeared never to return again. The food came out before our water and drink, and we had to ask the bus gal to bring our water and drink that were sitting at the bar for at least 10 minutes apparently. No one ever came back. We could have walked out without paying, but we arent dishonest. Horrible service all around. Everyone in the restaurant was waiting on drinks and service and food. When you have three bartenders standing around doing nothing, you need to re-evaluate your staff. Will not return.

3 stars are for the location. The movie selection is decent but does not always cater to the diversity of San Ramon community. I have tried the food here at several occasions. Not only it is extremely pricey compared to other restaurants at City Center, the quality is sub par. For instance, fries come drenched in oil, chicken tenders taste like anything but tenders, popcorn tastes stale and soaked in butter all the way through the bucket. The customer service is poor especially in the movie auditoriums. 9/10 times the food (sometimes just a drink order) comes >1 hr in to the movie. The movie ticket prices are outrageous especially when you think about quality of service, food and highly unclean carpets and bathroom floors. If you can spare some time and have the will to drive couple more miles, would recommend going to Walnut Creek or Dublin instead to watch movies, you will save money but also sit in clean plush seats with equally clean floor at least.

Imagine driving 35 minutes to see a movie at 10:30 in the morning, waiting 10 minutes to find someone and then being told the film had been canceled and another film was in the theatre. Then looking at the auditorium was completely empty. Then try waiting 15 minutes to find a manager who said it wasnt their problem. And finally you reach out customer service who after a few emails they stop responding. Extravagant prices and lousy customer service means non of dollars will ever be spent there.

Cool movie theater and atmosphere is cool. My service is horrible. He seemed like he does not want to be there. We ordered chicken tenders and mac and cheese 2 bottle of water and it cost $63. Food was horrible and the chicken tenders were over cooked and fries was old and i can barely chew. Server didn’t even run any food and drinks. My fiancé had to go get our water. Very unsatisfied and frustrated by the customer service.Just left the City Center theater.Theater #4: Sounds were out of sync (Echo), and unbalanced (10X Louder on the left than the right). I asked the technician to fix the issue during the previews. He tried but no improvement. The movie has started and sound was still horrible (and harassing). After five minutes, I went directly to the reception to get a refund because I was not satisfied of the quality of the sound. This was the answer I got from the receptionist: We can reimburse tickets ONLY 30 minutes before the movie starts! How can I know if the sound quality and image are good 30 minutes before the movie?I used to love and go to that movie theater 2-3 times per week. The way I got my issue resolved tonight; I believe I will go to another movie theater in the future. Awful customer service: minus five stars on five.

Ambience and Food are outstanding! And the place was packed full night jyst before Mothers Day, even though it is right above Slanted Door restaurant (that is another review).I love how this place is set up, relaxed and lively, lounge chairs spaced out well, and outside foreside seating.. it feels very spacious, not your usual 4×4 tables lined up.We havent tried the movie theater yet, we went in for the dinner, awesome drink menu, appetizers were fresh and perfectly sized to share for two, entrees chicken and spicy arabica pasta were worth takinf home, unfortunately we didnt leave a bite on the plate. Must go, it is on the expensive side, but definitely worth the $$$.

Extremely disappointing Mothers Day brunch buffet. At $75/person you would expect top notch quality, great food selection, and great beverage selection. The quality and presentation was just not there. Ive been to Mothers Day brunch buffets before and this is not it. The selection was very limited, the quality of the food was comparable to a budget hotels complimentary continental breakfast, and not only that but soda/coffee/tea was not included! This experience did not meet our expectations and honestly feel like we got bamboozled. If you are thinking about attending any of The Lots brunchs I suggest you go elsewhere. Review the photos for yourself and you be the judge if you think this is worth $75/person. I expressed my frustration to two servers, I hope management can do something to fix this or make our experience better in the future.

Wow talk about nice movie theater, my seven year old an I went the kids cheese pizza was a thumbs down, lucky we were able to switch it out for a hot dog which was way better. The service was okay, our server never came back to check on us once our order was out pressed the button for service no one ever came to help had to walk to front to complain about pizza. Recommend holding off on tipping until your movie is complete.

I am writing this for the movie theater not for the staff before the customer service. Last year I received two free movie tickets because of the movie being cut short, & my seats were not functional. I was unable to use it last year so I went there today to see if they could find me in the system and honor the free tickets. The manager tell me there’s nothing she can do. I need to wait for her to get a response from customerservice to see if she could re-issue me the tickets. The response back was no they cannot. If I really wanted to get the two free tickets, I need to email them and request them again, I did and they said there’s nothing they can do. I actually feel like I was discriminated against. I have seen people just walk into that movie theater without even paying.the result is there’s nothing there gonna do for me, I really think it’s poor customer service, and I’m very disappointed, especially since I would expect a place like that in the BISHOP RANCH CENTER IN SAN RAMON TO DO better than this.

Its not an inexpensive place to see a movie by any stretch of the imagination, but its clean, comfortable, calm & safe.The theater gets 5 stars, but the food service (still not used to saying that about a movie theater) was definitely lacking. We were given one napkin for a shared flatbread, and our sodas came 20 - 30 minutes after the food arrived. The flatbread was great, though.The worst part, by far, was the 4 tween girls in the row in front of us who spent the majority of the movie taking selfies with their phones. Their phones flashes mustve gone off at least 50 times.Would still go back.

It is a nice theater but you pay for the environment. Don’t waste your time with in theater food service. $70 for A coke, single serve pizza and a chicken sandwich with fries. Took 30 minutes to get our coke as they gave it to wrong people. Asked for ketchup 3 times and never got it. Pizza was not cooked through and chicken was dry. Pushed button to call for service a 3rd time to try and complain about undercooked food with no response until movie was nearly over and they were bringing check. No resolution. $100 for a movie and some low quality food. Hardly worth it. Very disappointing experience.

Been a loyal customer here since they opened, but TWO terrible service experiences last week make me concerned that something is drifting.On Tuesday I went to the restaurant with my wife for the Valentines Day dinner (pre-selected 3 course menu), food was pretty good but service was SHOCKINGLY slow. Probably 30-45 minutes between each course and at the end just to get the check, which had errors.On Friday I went to a movie with two kids. We ordered a bunch of food during the trailers, and NEVER GOT IT. I rang twice during the movie and he was like You didnt get your food? Let me check. Nobody even came to bring the check. When the end credits were over we started to leave and the server ran up to me in the hallway with the bill... even though we never got any food. I paid it because Im nice. I shouldnt have.Get your $#!+ together guys.

This is definitely one of the bougiest theaters in the Bay area. The first thing you see when you walk in is a fancy-schmancy bar with luxurious reclining leather seats and fire pits. Once you look past that, the theater is visible. One major flaw is anyone can just walk in to any movie playing at any time because there is usually nobody standing to collect tickets. This is actually the best thing ever. As far as concessions go, its a theater—youre not going to get anything worth your money—especially here.The bougieness continues inside the theater, featuring the ability to call for a waiter at any given time so they can bring you that grapefruit juice youve been craving without the need to worry about your tux getting dirty.

The wife and I were on our way to the theater and realized the showing was for the prior day (all times are the same) I contacted “Tony Provenncio” from customer service his response was “is this your first inquiry for a refund” I let him know this was the first time his response back was they do not refund (even tho the site says they look at case by case). The showing was for a film that had many open seats so they were not losing out and I was not asking for a refund just and exchange . I understand the mistake was on my side for selecting the wrong date, but I contacted them a little prior to the 1pm for the 150 showing that I thought was the correct date and based on the situation they should make an exception . Worst customer service experience ever. Ordered a glass of red wine in the theater. Never came. Asked again, came with a bill of 83 dollars. Turns out the server unilaterally decided to serve me the most expensive one he could. Go to front desk to say this is not ok, get treated like I may be lying and they can just give me 50% on the wine. No apologies, nothing. Instead the manager thinks is a better approach to scold me for how I am supposedly behaving, because I mistakenly tried to say something to him while another customer was there. I told him the server needed to be corrected, he couldnt just do what he did to people and the manager unloaded on me. I never raised my voice or insulted anybody, he spoke to me as if I had. Extremely rude service and unnecessarily unpleasant interaction that ruined my night. If your staff made a mistake, own it, apologize and we can move on. It is not that hard.

BUT today was the day I experienced an inconvenience, ordered my iced coffee, and banana loaf, and two scoops of ice cream. A few issues with this movie theater. I don’t think they should have servers bring food in and out of the movie theater while the movie is on, its very distracting, and I had a server standing right in front of me while delivering food to someone in the movies and then eventually they come back to charge the person for the items order and us a flash light! Seeing that tickets werent that expensive you can already be forewarned/assume that theyll get you in other areas but a $22 pasta dish that was decent, not great, followed by an additional $9 for shrimp is crazy to me. There was an incident last night where a middle-aged couple were indecently exposing themselves, loudly enjoying each other, and performing certain acts with each other during a showing of a childrens movie. When brought to the managers attention, he defended their right to continue with the behavior and refused to kick them out. The manager also refused to give us a refund even though we were too uncomfortable being in the theater while they were loudly going at it. The manager also refused to tell us his name. Police had to get involved since staff was totally okay with them pleasuring each other in the theater to a movie based on a childrens book. The place is very nice. Drinks are really good, staff is ok, but the food is not extraordinary. We arrived there was no one in the host booth, a server kindly gave us a table and another one took our orders. Burger was good but calamari were so overcooked there were hard to chew I returned them and didnt want to take a chance with other thing but they asked me if I wanted something else without offering a menu is a hard quick question so I ordered a margherita flatbread... tasteless Ive tried better frozen flatbread than that. Theres not dessert menu or at least we werent offered, it took 15 min to bring the check... at least we know is a good place to drink but the food is a no-no. We didnt go to the movie theater just the restaurant, so the review is just about the restaurant

Evidently Mikaela, the hostess at that time, was having a bad day. The hostess was about as rude as they come. She asked us where we wanted to seat. Originally we said the bar area but changed our minds to the patio. Mikaela dropped, literally dropped (slammed) our menus off on a table then walked away without a word. There were two of us, there was one chair so I had to pull a chair from another table. No big deal, but the attitude was. She said she was bringing water but never did. The calamari was horrible, cold and old. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is the waitress tried to make up for it.Sometimes if you don’t want to deal with your job then you shouldn’t, stay home. Others are trying to get a break from there day only to pay for more headaches. Not cool.

Just saw 7:30 Spider-Man Noway Home last night and had a disappointing experience. A group of ten 14 year old boys with no parental supervision disrupted the movie for everyone - Talking throughout the movie, on their phones, taking photographs etc. I complained, along with others, the management did little to reign these kids in. Adults politely asked them to behave themselves which they completely disregarded. This wouldn’t have happened at Regal Dublin or San Ramon. Regal has employees regularly check the theaters for safety and are more accessible when issues like this arise. I think the amenities at The Lot are better than Regal but if the management at The Lot don’t improve their customer service, patrol the theaters regularly, and monitor crowds of ill manner teens, no one will pay the over priced food, drink, and movie tickets. This will be my last purchase at The Lot for awhile.

Lots of leg room per isle and spacious seats and side tables so the food service isnt distracting at all. The staff was wonderful. When its open and running smoothly, it cant be beat for location and ambiance. The City Center was sorely needed, as was an alternative movie theater for San Ramon and Danville. The theater seats here are comfy, sightlines are excellent. You can order and they will bring you food and drink (again, this is during non-COVID times) to your seat, but you need to order immediately upon entering or be prepared for a lengthy wait. Sometimes weve had to ring the little bell two additional times (after our original order) to get our popcorn. Seems like they got out of the gate a little over their skis, but again, its a much-welcome addition to the neighborhood, and we cant wait to go back once this is all over.

We pre-paid for an Easter Brunch at The Lot City Center San Ramon that advertised mimosa and Bloody Mary bar but those were not included in the $59 price per person, that was food only, mediocre food. There was a low budge Bloody Mary bar but mimosa bar was just OJ, we were so disappointed but then the bill came and it was for all of us even though I pre-paid. They told me the pre-payment was just a hold but I showed the completed charge on my CC website. I was not allowed to leave until I paid the bill in full again and was told I would receive a credit for the pre-payment but they could provide no proof of that! Pre-pandemic fallout: The Lot had such potential as a great restaurant venue, but just missed the mark. Even before the pandemic, the menu was just O.K. and the service was weak. If it wasnt for the movie theaters (and the fact that you can order-in food from your seat in the cinema), I have to believe The Lot would have gone under long ago. At this point, as the pandemic winds down, they are no better, and with an even more limited menu (and still-shakey food quality). Day in a Spa tasted more like a watered-down Mojito wannabe re-branded with its fancy name.- He got our orders which took 45 minutes to an hour to be served. We have to be sarcastically nice to ask, but not condescending to follow up on our orders, which came out after another 10 minutes.- THE FOOD! Oh yeah, it is a restaurant after all. Is it worth the wait, the agony,? Nah. Dry, bland, indistinguishable, shriveled, stale and have I mentioned DRY ... the food looked like fast food left under a heat lamp for 45 minutes. Ugghhh.My friends and I cant even make excuses with our out-of-town guest who was polite, but nevertheless disappointed. THE LOT is one of those businesses that seems like itd be a good idea if all of the details of it were different.The experience consists of three parts: an immersive big-screen movie experience, comfortable recliner seating, and restaurant-style food service. While the first two parts are executed pretty well, I was really surprised by the extent to which the food service undermined them.Shortly before the movie starts, a waiter/usher comes to take your order. So far so good. But our orders arrived half an hour into the movie, and they didnt keep track of who in my party ordered which item, so they had to interrupt the movie to ask us. (Kind of takes you out of the experience.) Also, if you actually recline the fancy seat, it blocks the aisle, so waiters/ushers awkwardly step over your legs. And the food isnt very well-suited to eating in the dark -- the $19 burger I ordered was soggy and fell apart in my hand.The staff comes back during the climax of the movie to hand you your bill for the food. What? Why? Why not wait until the credits, or after I leave the theater? Why not do it before the movie starts? This is, like, the single part of the movie into which I most want to be immersed!If you want to eat pasta during a movie, have a lot of money, are afraid of emotionally engaging with film, and dont mind getting sauce on yourself, THE LOT might be the place for you. For everyone else, Netflix and a microwave might be a better option.

We got served drinks once, then nobody came back for 30 minutes so I went up to the bar to ask for more drinks and food and the bartender seemed completely annoyed that I asked her. Keep in mind this was 4pm and the place wasnt busy. Soon after that, another server came over to put a reserved sign in our table and told us we needed to leave or get up from the table by 6:30 because our table was reserved. There were 3 other tables right next to us that were completely empty, yet somehow they specifically needed ours. We spent $120 but they clearly didnt seem to want it. We went to The Lot cinema and were shocked at the prices. It is $20 for Adults, even for the matinee! On Wednesdays, if you sign up for their card and email barrage, you can get in for $12... still very high for a matinee. Seats were no better than any other cinema with the standard recliner seats these days. They do have overpriced food and drinks, served at your theater seat. One of the bottles of wine was $90 :(, plus other standard fare. We wont be going back anytime soon. Oh, and the sign said these were temporary introductory special prices. We have been twice now to this theater. Our first experience was not great. We sat down and placed our order for hot drinks and popcorn with the server. We had to remind 3 different servers about our order and 50 minutes later we got 2 lukewarm drinks and the tiniest bucket of popcorn I have ever seen. They call it the big bucket, but its about the size of a small to medium bucket at any other theatre. To top it off, we got home and found we were charged almost $100 for the two drinks and the popcorn. Apparently, we paid our tab and the tab of the guests sitting in front of us. We had to go back to the theater to correct the charge to our account. To the managers credit, he was very apologetic and immediately took care of the mistake. He replaced my drink and was very sweet.The second time we went, we decided to stand in line and place our food and drink order ourselves. Drinks this time were very good. That done, we made our way to our seats. Movie was fine, theatre is clean and the seats are very comfortable...here is my issue with this concept:It is really annoying to have the servers constantly talking throughout the movie as they take and deliver orders. People can place orders anytime during the movie so the servers are constantly talking and walking in front of you. As they walk in front of you, they whisper, excuse me, sorry! Would be so much better if they just quietly whisked thru. The other issue is I feel like people are super comfortable here, like at home. So they order food, talk and both times I saw people on their phones. Checking emails, scrolling...bright screen comes on...annoying.So final verdict, this month tickets are only $12. The normal price for a ticket is $20 there. I will not pay $20 to feel like I am in my living room and to have people talking and walking between me and the screen the whole movie. Blackhawk is just up the road. Blackhawk is clean. The seats are equally comfortable. They also have adult beverages available for purchase. Popcorn buckets are normal theatre size. You can reserve your seats there too. Difference, no servers, but that also means no one talking or walking in front of you the entire movie and the tickets are less expensive.

I am thrilled that the Lot City Center Restuarant in San Ramon has opened! Today was a lunch day at the newly opened Lot restaurant. We had a wonderful experience with Grayson who manages the restaurant. Despite the busyness of 2 large corporate groups that were dining there, Grayson assured us he would assist us personally by getting a table and our waiter to us quickly and he did! Our server Aaron was also terrific. Personable and attentive he did an excellent job.Because the restaurant was so extraordinarily busy today, we had to wait a bit for our lunch order. It was absolutely not a problem as our waiter brought our beverages right away. We were comfortable and not hurried.When our lunch arrived, it was delicious. I ordered the Thai chicken salad and my friend ordered a soup and sandwich. Its nice and new but the seats are ridiculous. If you recline back to put your feet up, you are looking at the ceiling. Not comfy for watching a movie. And while its a nice idea to be able to order your concessions while you watch your movie, its super distracting!! My family of four will probably not be returning. Honestly the whole City Center is not our thing. It seems it was built for the wealthy and not for everybody. Sad, we were really excited about the whole thing but now are disappointed. 😟

This is our third time here as a family and the third time unfortunately is not a charm, its rather a big disappointment. The seats we booked were dirty from the previous showing and hadnt been cleaned. The seat bottoms had soda stains all over and there was popcorn and other food on the sides and on the floor, the armrest was sticky. I went up to the ticket counter and asked them to clean it and the lady said she would do it herself. As we were walking towards the theater, she found the cleaning crew and asked them to do the cleaning instead. As one of the cleaning crew was wiping the seats, another told her not to scrub the seat. How is the dirt or stain supposed to come off if you dont scrub? Anyway, upon hearing the other lady, the one who was wiping abruptly stopped and picked up her stuff and walked away leaving behind two wet seats that were were dirty. What are we supposed to do with it? Sit through a 2-hour movie cringing and not touching the dirty sides and back?The LOT is fancy on the outside and inside but it seems they dont get customer service basics. Disappointed.

Our family of 4 went to the Lot on Wednesday of thanksgiving week. Everyone was very excited. It takes a moment to figure out where to have your tickets scanned. We were in theatre 10 and easily found our reserved seats. We found that when you recline the headrest angles your head towards the ceiling and not the screen. They have servers that take your food orders and bring them to your seat a neat idea that in our case did not work well. We ordered sodas, waters, popcorn, and candy about 10 minutes before showtime and the order took 45 minutes to be delivered. We found that having the servers walking through during the movie distracting from watching the movie. The sound was another issue at first it was so loud that the speakers were crackling and everyone in the theatre including the servers were covering their ears. Then it was to soft finally they adjusted to a level that was jist a tad bit too loud but doable. One of our seats did not recline and they had maintenance guys trying to fix several seats that had similar issues up until the movie started. Ours did not get fixed. The theatre is pricey for tickets when you include the $2.50 service fee per ticket that can only be ordered on their Lot website. The food is also pricey even by movie theatre standards with smaller portions than you find at other theatres. This is an existing chain of theatres so you would think they wouldnt have quite so many bumps. We may try them again in a few months after they have had a chance to smooth out the bumps. Really neat concept, but at least at this point poor execution

THE LOT Movie Theater is an Awesome place to watch movies. So Far every seat I have sat in has been a recliner with a snack tray table that swings in from the Side. Plenty of room for food drinks and you can order a Bottle of champagne brought to your Date. There is an awesome snack bar that is plentiful for Taco Tuesdays..

Pretty pricey for the experience. Even if the food and service were great (which they’re not), I’m not sure I’ll ever feel triumphant dropping $65 to take in a movie by myself. The ticket was $23 by the time you include the fee. My cocktail and flatbread were each around $15 apiece. With taxes, etc. It was $65 for one person to go to the movies.I would have paid less than $30 for a movie ticket, a cocktail, and some consistently tasty jalapeño poppers at Regal Hacienda crossing (which now has reserved seating but no luxury loungers). Seriously, the flatbread at The LOT was gross. Was slow, clumsy order-from-my-seat service + luxury loungers worth the extra $35? No. Not even a little bit. At that price, The bar is high and The LOT isn’t even close to providing that standard of service.And let’s not forget that even the $30 I would have paid at Regal is questionable. I can order a ton of movies that are still in theaters from my set top box. It seems pretty dumb for any movie theater franchise to make going to the movies less appealing than it already is. If you want people to care about movie theaters again, give them something great.

We live in Dublin, but choose San Ramon for movies and dining. San Ramon has done a great job with Coty Center and the Lot. If you become a member of the lot it is no more expensive to see movies here. The seats are way more comfortable and if you need a beverage or a meal they will bring it right to your seat. I recommend ordering early because it may take a while to receive your food. My family and I go here often.

Very poorly planned business plan. No security so everyone freely walks into the movie houses and makes tons of noise and flashing cameras, servers seem irritated to have a job, don’t get how this place can stay in business. CINEMARK needs to buy it, lock the door to high school kids on the street and dump the food drink theme.

Everything was great. Service, atmosphere, bathrooms. Just a bit pricey for San Ramon. A nice place to have a meal before or after a movie. This is the only sit down resturant open for lunch at this time. More are coming. Ill be back.

My favorite place to go to the movies. Service is excellent and the food is delicious. Their brunch is pretty good also. During happy hour they can use a little help to keep with the volume same for late at night (just a suggestion) great place for the family outings

Though food and drink specials are decent, The LOT continues to suffer from inattentive servers who are not appropriately trained to deal with the concerns of customers. I hope that new management will make adjustments and recognize why business has declined over the past several months.

I love the LOT City Center. It is the best thing that has come to San Ramon. It has given the city a much needed pick-me-up and some semblance of a night life. Its great for the whole family. It was a bit slow to gain momentum and I dont necessarily like the choice of retail shops and restaurants, otherwise, it is an overall great place.

This is the worst service I have ever seen in my life. They literally will take 30 minutes to bring you water and your drinks. It will be over an hour for food and they forget food you ordered during the movie. The managers are incompetent and the servers dont know how to do their jobs. Our 1000+ person company will never host events or have meetings here again!

This place is AWESOME! All the people talking about it being too expensive don’t understand the cost of operating such a symphony of luxury. And for those who said it was “hard to find”, ASK SOMEBODY, there’s literally staff all over the city center, not to mention the friendly regulars. Not for movie critics, or people on a budget. Waiters will bring you food while you watch in their incredibly comfy recliners (which, Unlike the bs “recliners” at amc, actually recline all the way) at the push of a button. They may walk passed you and “interrupt” your movie experience, if you’re one of those movie purists. For me, it’s well worth having filet mignon delivered to my seat mid movie.

Worst experience ever with customer service. Basically, there is none. Ordered tix online for WestSideStory. They have a picture of the original up, but says directed by Stephen Spielberg. I realized this after my purchase. So, to confirm before going that it was the new one, I called 8 times, no answer, no response. They have help there, why cant someone answer the phone? Instead, same phone tree every time. Then I opened a support ticket. Got a quick response as they use Zendesk saying they will look into it. 2 days later, nothing still. They have my money, of course, no urgency on their part. I had to purchase new tix for a different theatre since I couldnt get a simple question answered. I was a fan, but now, not sure I will go back. Cant support a company that has such horrible service, and I read others had the same frustrations. Not good!

The service is horrible! We have given them 3 chances : dinner, movie, movie and dinner... consistently poor service. You will wait for hours in the restaurant for food If youre even acknowledged. The cafe is hit or miss ..you may or may not get to order.. the CEO of the restaurant took our order walked away and 30min later had forgotten to make the coffee!! Same with ordering food in the movie.

Mixed. We know they were in soft opening and even accounting for that it was... Odd.Had to wait for a long time in order to get the tickets we bought online. People in front of us had to go through a long process in order to get movie tickets... One register open.Things were clean. Service inside the theater was good. Outside... Not as much. Cute, but not capable.Well be back. I got to revise upward then.

Very clean and new. Sadly their technology experience is not modernized. You can buy tickets online, you can purchase bundles online, but you can purchase tickets from your bundles online.Also walking thru the hallway to get to the theater smells awful. Someone thinks air freshener machines blowing strongly scented soap smell is what I want right before and after a movie.

Great drinks and service. Recliner chairs. Overall great experience. Sat in the bar to watch some of a game after the movie. Phoenix, the bar tender, was personable and efficent, making sure everyone was taken care of.

One of the worst experience we ever had at a Cinema theater. The worst service, the worst management. We ordered food, drinks and popcorn. The food showed up after 40 minutes, the they never got us our drinks and our popcorn. I went to let the management and staff know, they said oh we are bringing them to you right now, and they never did.Absolutely unacceptable, irresponsible and cheap service. Hate it and I am done going there ever again.

Im glad to see a real dine-in theater option finally show up in the Bay Area. Its not as mature or polished of a product as what AMC has in other markets (sadly none in the Bay Area), but it does offer much better non-theater dining options in the outer restaurant for those looking to eat/drink without a movie. The at-seat service was very good, efficient, and *very* importantly, near-invisible during the movie.
