Cant say enough good things about The Law Offices of Steven F. Schroeder. Steven was out of town when I first contacted their office and he still was kind enough to share information with me and Jamie scheduled a meeting when he was back in office. They helped us set up a living trust for my dad and it went very smoothly and everyone at their office was extremely present and informative. Steven and Jamie helped answer any questions we had and made this process as easy as can be. They were always prompt on returning emails as well. I hope I wont need more of their services anytime soon but if I do I will definitely be back.

Steven Schroeder was referred to us by our neighbor when we were looking for Will and & Trust Services. My husband and I were completely unversed in the matter and were just starting to get this process started. Steven met with us for more a couple of hours at the initial meeting and fully explained the process, thoroughly answered our questions and advised on different approaches and their impacts to our estate. He is completely knowledgeable and explained everything to us in terms that made sense, explaining all options and sides. He answered many questions in the weeks after when my husband and I were making decisions for our estate.This type of planning, though necessary is not exactly pleasant to think about and because of this we put off our estate planning longer than we should have. Twenty one years ago Steven met with us to draft our revocable trust. Although we had had no contact with him or his office for 21 years, when we contacted him to do an amendment to the trust, he had the original trust as well as the original email communications. After just losing my husband, I was preparing to file for 2022 when my CPA said he wasnt comfortable deciding how to file or how to handle this situation due to a possible trust contest. He asked me to consult with a tax attorney before he could file anything.Steven was extremely and helpful in guiding me through a complicated tax concern that my CPA was not comfortable handling without the advice of a tax attorney. I am so grateful for Stevens patience in discussing my situation and his guidance in navigating my situation without asking for a big retainer up front. He gave me very clear steps as what to do and completely eased my mind.Before I found Steven, I was rejected by two other attorneys because of the possible trust contest and the other two wanted me to pay a sizable a retainer to review everything, including the trust, telling me how complicated this could get.
