It was a wonderful experience to work with Ed and his staff. Ed clearly has a brilliant legal mind and an immense understanding of his field. He is thorough, with an amazing attention to detail. Ed and Laurie were both great to deal with for our family trust. Our particular trust was somewhat complicated due to divorces, ex-spouses, two sets of children and how to properly disperse assets amongst all concerned. However, the office put a lot of work into talking it out with us and helping us arrange everything they way we wanted it. They also assured us that we can always ask if we had any questions or needed anything in the future. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. Thanks Ed and Laurie!

I have known and previously worked with Ed for many years. He was always willing to help and give his advise and expertise on a multitude of various legal matters. The process of creating a Trust can be daunting but I was pleasantly surprised at how stressless it was working with Ed Fong. My wife and I recently retired and one of the items on our to do list was to create an estate plan. We contacted a few estate planning attorneys who were highly rated on Yelp, only to discover that in some cases 1) the attorney stated that they had an office in Roseville, but actually lived in South Carolina and only visited the Roseville office one a month, 2) the attorney offered what we considered to be a short consultation time (1 hour or less), or the attorney did not provide in person consultations. We were very discouraged until I decided to conduct another Yelp search and found reviews for The Law Office of Ed Fong. I read the Yelp reviews and told my wife This guy looks too good to be true and scheduled a consultation with Mr. Fong. Everything we read in the reviews turned out to be true. My wife and my estate situations were different, but Ed was able to find a solution that met both of our needs. I never felt that any meeting or phone call was rushed. I would highly recommend Ed Fongs estate planning services to anyone.

My wife and I were delaying the process of putting together a living trust/will. At times it just seemed overwhelming and frankly, something we just didnt want to take the time to do. Obviously it is extremely important and when we finally decided to make the move to get this completed, we had a couple of lawyers in mind. After choosing Ed Fong, we were extremely pleased with our decision. He didnt talk to us like a lawyer. He has a down to earth demeanor and he effectively outlined the process. I must confess I had been dreading doing this because I was afraid I would not understand all the legal ramifications, I quickly discovered that was not the case at all! My parents and I had a wonderful experience working with Ed and his staff. My parents wanted to create a living trust and I wanted to find someone in the Sacramento area that spoke their native language (Cantonese and Taishanese). English is their 2nd language and it would be hard for them to fully comprehend some of those legal questions. I wanted them to feel comfortable in speaking and asking questions without a need for a translator. I’m very happy I was able to come across Ed’s business and after talking directly to him I felt he would be able to communicate just fine with my parents and we set up an initial meeting for my parents to see if they would like to work with him. The rest is history and my parents are overjoyed and I have peace of mind knowing that everything is in order for them.

Our Family Trust documents were initially prepared in 2004 and had become waaay outdated. In that the attorney that prepared those document had long since retired we hired another attorney that we had used previously for family relatives. After a year of waiting for a product from this attorney, my son recommended using Ed Fong who my son has known since early grade school. Ed and his Case Manager, Laurie, jumped on this assignment immediately, starting with a form to fill out, a conference call, and a meeting in his office. Ed touched base with our investment brokers office manager to insure that the trust documents would include language required by the firm to cover changes in the trusts co-trustee as pertained to the investment trust account as well as power of attorney language as pertained to IRA accounts. After my review of a draft set of documents and a couple minor edits, Ed and Laurie visited our home for the multitude of signings needed for the final documents. Shortly thereafter Ed hand delivered the signed documents in a beautifully formatted binder, not only tabbed by section but including explanations in laymans language of the legal language in the documents. Absolutely fantastic job!
