I know this sounds like a story you see in commercials, but I assure you its true. We had used another local attorney to get our estate papers in order, but ended up wasting time and money because that lawyer was disorganized, confusing, and the job was never completed properly. After contacting and setting an appointment with Steve Bliss, we were given an informative video to watch so when we had our online conference, we were educated and understood the process. Even more, we knew our part in it. With the aid of a helpful checklist, we were able to gather the information needed to allow our living trust to be assembled in an efficient and orderly manner. After one more easy and brief online conference to review our paperwork, we finally met personally with him and signed our papers. I had a Living Trust done with Steve Bliss. He has a video posted online which I found really valuable, not only for the content but for the compassion I saw in Steve. I learned about the importance of having a Trust, the legal document that allows my assets to be passed to family without probate proceedings which can go on for years and are expensive. Steve helped me gather all necessary information without any stress. In the end, Steve put together this amazing, well organized notebook. In the front was a page of commonly asked question for me to refer to which I found helpful. I can always update my Living Trust and call Steve with any questions I might have. This review is way overdue but 5-star nonetheless! After researching lawyers, checking reviews and receiving a strong recommendation from our accountant, we contacted Steve to help us update our family trust/wills after having moved to CA from PA. We were still in the midst of the pandemic, so we appreciated that Steve was able to meet with us virtually.The process was relatively fast and painless, with Sharon (legal assistant) sending us a questionnaire prior to our Zoom meeting. Steve also has tons of educational information on his website which was helpful to review in advance. In our meeting, Steve thoroughly and patiently walked us through CA estate law and what we needed to ensure our assets were best protected, estate taxes minimized and our wishes honored.We then had a follow-up meeting in his Temecula office to go over and execute all the documents. We walked out with a detailed binder which included instructions on retitling assets to the trust. We also received electronic copies of everything. I had a few questions afterward, and Steve was quick to respond via email.Steve is a wealth of knowledge and has been doing this long enough to have the process down to a science. We have peace of mind having an estate plan in place and highly recommend him!

Steven Bliss was an exceptional attorney and helped walk us through the estate planning process. We got a Trust set up and it was in an organized folder and had many common questions answered in the inside tab. He helped walk us through the process and had three meetings that contribute toward building the trust. The first two meetings were on Zoom, which provided additional flexibility for those with little kids at home. He was helpful even after the trust was set up with follow-on questions. My dad passed away without a will, and the financial institution that held his IRA would not release his funds to our family. Despite my best efforts, two years passed and I was unsuccessful. Wed been putting off establishing our estate plan for several years because we thought it would be cumbersome and quite frankly, it was just one more thing to do! We worked with Steve Bliss on a living trust as well as a will. Mr. Bliss is very knowledgeable, professional and knows his stuff. He was well organized and led us through the process very efficiently and quickly. We had an initial meeting, a second meeting to discuss our plans (he had sent us documents prior to our meeting to complete) and then a third meeting to address any last questions and sign documents . Throughout the process, he assisted us to think of items we may have left out and addressed our questions and concerns.He works out of multiple offices so we went to the office in Temecula as it is close to us.
