For being a small course it is still fun to play. The greens are well kept and a little challenging.. The staff was great also.. The cart girl I think Lexi was her name at the 5th hole was very polite and friendly. She made us laugh.. I will definitely be coming back next time Im in the area .

The family went here so the kids could have some fun after graduation. Everyone including the adults seemed to enjoy themselves. The drinks were quite expensive. So Ill never order drinks again. I ordered a cookie butter whiskey drink that was $18.?? after tax. My glass didnt have the correct pour because 2 of our other guests ordered the same thing and they had more in their glass. But I decided not to say anything because bartenders get offended quite often when you question what they poured vs what you received. But if I ever come back, water it is. It seemed like an ounce of whiskey over a square ice and an orange slice. The ice cube sat way above the whiskey. I dont want you to over pour. I just want to get my moneys worth. But the kids enjoyed themselvesbans thats all that matters in the end

Had a private event here this past Sunday at Top Golf. It was so much fun. For a team building event or bday party, whether you golf or not, I guarantee a great time. Ask for Hilary in group sales - she will take good care of you and your group.

Super fun and fairly easy course perfect for a quick ten-hole round. The holes are wide open and pretty forgiving, though there are some sand traps and a couple lakes (obviously). You dont have to be very experienced at all to have a good time here - you can even borrow some Top Golf clubs for free.Dont come expecting a formal or stuffy atmosphere. There is a bumping playlist playing over the speakers and humorous signs posted throughout the course. Its a great time! The only downside is its more expensive than municipal 9-hole courses.

Went this past Saturday morning (2/2) around 8:30 am and wasn’t familiar with the raised weekend rates so I questioned it at the front desk. Because it was raining out and no one was there I asked if he’d do the normal $25 week rate. He said “nope, by the looks of your pretentious water bottle you can afford it”.The Lakes is a great and fun course and would give 5 stars if i wasn’t so disrespected at the front desk.

Probably one of the funnest courses I’ve done that wasn’t an 18 hole. Feels like an arcade, with top 10 music in the background. Feels like arcade golf.The course has a great flow, not too challenging and not too easy, it’s just right, and perfect transition to the range side. There’s an option for push carts and there’s a nice bar/restaurant too.Great part is a free putting and chipping practice area. Lots of spots for photo/selfies. It was three of us and it was great times, hit par a couple times and overall excellent experience! The last hole records your shot and it’s the best!

Awesome place to go and enjoy meals and Funtime with family, friends, and coworkers.Clean and workers are helpful and friendly.Its like bowling but you aim at target 50 to 200 yds away.Food and drinks are pricey but do it in special occasions.The clubs are available and new so no need to bring your own clubs.

The Lakes at El Segundo is a Top Golf experience. It is like a multilevel extreme sports bar. It feels like a mix of mini-golf and bowling. I had heard a lot of talk aboutTop Golf so that when my friend asked me to celebrate his 60th birthday party at The Lakes in El Segundo, I was one of the first guests to arrive. Its an over-the-top experience; The Lakes has the largest big screen monitor I had ever seen indoors. The best part is the opportunity to hit a micro-chipped golf ball from an elevated perspective; Its like hitting a golf ball off the roof of a high-rise building. It took a little while to figure out the scoring process.I enjoyed the experience. The staff is energetic and responsive. The food service was a little off, but the fun-filled atmosphere was a good experience overall. I recommend you to go at least once for the adventure.

The Lakes is a cute 10 hole par 3 golf course owned and operated by Topgolf. It is well operated and maintained. My boyfriend and I go there often to practice our short games. Longest hole is 145 yards.

By far the best thing about this course is the 10th hole, where they have TopTracer recording/tracking your shot, and you can download the video after. The downside is that theres a LOT of geese + goose droppings everywhere, but I dont really know what they can do about that.

I love this par 3 gold course in a hidden pocket of manhattan/el segundo. Never really too busy but still a great gold course to hit balls or get a nice round of 9. Its completely walkable, and not challenging but does have hills, bumps, sand and water to avoid. No one is too overly aggressive on the course and you can finish in 90-120 mins without a second thought. You can do just fine with 3 clubs with the occasional wood for the 2 (250+ yard) par 4 holes. Other than that after a nice round, you can stop by the club house for a beer and some snacks or get there early for a little breakfast. Either way this has been my go to on a weekend morning. You can book a tee time online or just call the pro-shop to avoid service fees on golfnow.com or whatever the website sends you to.

A fun little course which a great thing because its right next to Sepulveda and the huge TopGolf. They only have 1 golf cart (my Mom needed it because she had a broken foot), which is fairly hilarious, but the people were really nice. Ill definitely be going back. Oh, they have 10 holes!

I love this place it has some really cool games to play when hitting the ball. They have t.vs everywhere to watch any game thats on. A good variety of food and the service was solid. It wasnt very busy as it was the day of the superbowl. That was a plus so if you wanna lounge have some drinks and have some laughs come on down

We live in El Segundo and went to the Lakes to.play golf with our 3 kids..we paid $50 for range balls and another $75 for 4 golfers. My wife walked with us on the course but was not going to play and the Marshall told us we needed to pay for another golfer just to have my wife walk with us. . I paid over $130 and they didnt want to give us a free pass just to tell us we needed to pay another $18...Very lame...I would not call this a community golf course

Came to Top Golf ⛳️ and had a great experience here. Its the first time I have been here, and I would say that the upper deck is a better experience than the bottom one. Also, I highly recommend going to sundown so that you get to see the neon light ✨️. The food is tasty too, 6 of us ordered 2 party platters and all the wing flavors are tasty. Ive only utilized the driving range, but I had a good experience. I went at night, and there was plenty of parking. You can buy a bucket of 100 balls for $10, either from the pro shop or the vending machine near the driving range. There are two levels, and the tee is manual, so be ready to bend down often if youre using your woods.

Participate in a Monday golf league. The service is good, food is very good and drinks are served fast. Its a fun league with the right people. The only negative is the lack of parking because the facility is crowded. Two of our team members had to park on a side street over a quarter-mile away and carry his golf bag. If you arrive after 7PM parking is a challenge (late spring to summer).

I was disappointed that the scoreboard wasnt working the night we visited because i came with a competitive group, but they reimbursed us for the time we paid for, which made up for that. This was my 1st time back to The Lakes in many years (80s, 90s) way before Top Golf came along.The course is all par 3s, 10 holes, I played from the mats, theyre in good shape, the holes range from 66-140, playing from the grass can increase the length on some holes. The course is in great shape, probably the best of the Par 3 courses in So. Cal. The greens are big, firm, yet receptive, without having deep ball marks.They were a bit slower than I anticipated, but ran true, not a tremendous amount of break either. Pin placements were fair to most players.Id definitely come back for the short game practice I need.

The Lakes is a really nice and well maintained course. The best part about it is that they have lights so you can play night golf. It is well lit unlike other night courses and it is easy to see your ball. The bad part about it is the price to play. For the price of 10 holes here you can play 18 holes at some of the other courses nearby. The staff here were all great though and the little bar at the check in area is pretty cool. There is a lot of parking but its always packed.

I wasnt sure what to expect since this was my first time, and i was very impressed with how efficient the process was. Next time I wont get there early since the reservation worked out for the time slot I requested. Initially I thought if I got there sooner it would check me in sooner but it doesnt work that way. Everything is done online or through the app.. my only complaint is that guests could not check in, in advance, because the website hung up when they tried entering, so we took more time to enter info while in the bay. I hope they fix this to improve efficiency further. The food was meh 😕, but we went there for the golf, not the food. It was fun.

First time golfing with an actual golf club and it was pretty dang fun for a work sponsored event! Unfortunately its way too far from home, and a pretty big investment.The most fun was trying to drive 20 balls in 8 minutes!I didnt have any lessons, but Im surprised I rarely missed and sent the ball flying a decent distance, not anything crazy like getting in the furthest hole. Its basically like fishing, except your rod is a club and the fish are dead and round and white and hard and you get them as far away from you as possible instead trying to catch them. Perfect symbolism, youre welcome. I wish I got to look around for an arcade but oh well

This is a far cry from when it used to be the lakes at El Segundo I was an employee there a number of years ago. Its a great party for facility its a great place to be fitted for clubs and the golf course has been improved so much since top flight golf has taken over its one of the destinations that you would want to go as a group of people or even as one or two just to practice. The course looks like its in great shape you must make reservations for the course and for the driving range. Stuff like golf is really put themselves in the forefront of what driving ranges should be a party in club atmosphere its a place to have a birthday have any kind of celebration and theres food and alcohol.Sorry I didnt take any pictures.

Course was well maintained.Only warning/mention would be while Im a hacker myself - the group in front of me literally stopped and decided to do a bunker clinic taking about about 25 shots - looked like one was teaching the other. Being its a good course for beginners Im not expecting a crazy pace of play, however some newer groups might not even have the awareness that multiple groups were waiting at the tee box as they were practicing their sand shots ..

This place is not the biggest course, nor the most difficult. It’s pretty well maintained, and it comes at a good value. Playing for $15 for everyone is a good deal for this par 29 course. It’s a good place for a beginner, who has just started. There is not really that much else to say about this place. It’s perfect for a quick round of golf in a pinch, or the beginner who is looking for an easy course. Happy Golfing.

We had a fun evening here for Fathers Day, but our group always has fun together. I was a guest, so didnt pay anything, but I heard there was a minimum for ordering food and drinks of $40 per person! Then, when we actually ordered food, we were told they were out of about half the menu. But, apparently someone went shopping, because not long after that food magically appeared, although we were warned that flatbread would be substituted for buns. I ordered a Chardonnay, and my husband had a mixed drink. They both seemed watered down. The playing golf part was fine, and we soon learned the system of who plays when, and everything is displayed clearly on a monitor. The music and general ambience was a little loud for me (we had to shout at our waiters), but Im more sensitive to that than most people. Finally, we asked for take away boxes for leftovers, and were again told they were out, before they again magically appeared....?

Nice location and a good little 9 hole par 3 with a couple of par 4 holes. The course overall is in decent shape since I have played there. The greens could use some big help and folks do not tend to fix ball marks on the greens which makes for interesting putting.The driving range is nice with an upper and lower deck. I believe 100 range balls costs around $10.The staff has always been friendly and they have a cafe that sell food, beer, and wine.

Worth a bit of drive to get here. Reasonable pricing, nice driving range, gorgeous weather. Nice grass on their large greens, but the geese like to increase putting difficulty by adding elements of miniature golf to the experience. They are cute, mean well, and are extremely well manored aside from the decorating they do.

Our man Art at the first tee box made the group feel comfortable. They had speakers at each hole which brought a fun experience to the course. Some of the par 3’s were short but it still was a great time. Included a 10th hole top tracer where you can scan a QR code and share your shot to the green. A+ TopGolf

Solid little course to sneak in 9 holes and it is kept up well. Good rates to play and has a large range with lots of stalls. Its generally a par 3 course with two par 4s, so it works for beginners as well while still being interested for those that play often.

Very nice staff and nice 9 hole course. Enough challenge to keep it interesting. It has a pair of par 4 holes (280 and 261 yds) so you can hit your long clubs. Cant use your driver on the last hole because the patio is too close to the tee box. Some big hitters can hit balls onto that sitting area from the tee. Overall, its a nice, quick and picturesque round of golf. 1-1/2 to 2 hrs tops

Nice meeting space and good staff. Lots of parking. As a wedding reception venue it may take a little doing to make it more soft and ethereal, but it would definitely be do-able. The trees outside would be perfect for cocktail tables to be placed under and a spot for a dj on the knoll behind them would work perfectly.

Range is in terrible shape suffering from equipment neglect and I rate it a one star. The restaurant is terrific and I give it a five star. I highly recommend breakfast or lunch. This is a really great 9-hole that hubby and I enjoy playing. Scott, the manager, is really down to earth and makes a huge effort to assure everyone has what they need.Theres one really long hole but the rest are perfect for working on your short game. The range has quite a few stations but they can get crowded.

I started out on this course. It’s not as good as a deal as some of the neighboring courses for juniors but it’s a nice course. There is a lot goose poop and some of the greens are a bit beaten up. I would however recommend you try this course.Happy golfing!

Lakes is now part of the Top Golf facility. The Lakes Ina 9 hole Par 3 course. Completely redone in 2021/22. Opened in July 2022. Also has a PRACTICE Putting GREEN AND chipping green with sand traps. Top Golf is a eat, drink and hit balls at 4 argets. Bring your own clubs or use their Callaway clubs. Lots of fun for small groups.

You can never explain the true feelings you get when you have a place you call home, to relieve stress, or to really focus on improving your game! I will always call this my go to short game iron practice course. With beyond excellent staff!! And a practice facility that some of even the top courses can not match. Perfect for family. With plenty of events for kids to learn the Game from amazing PGA professionals to the double level driving decks. This is definitely the place to be!! Decent place to get in 9 holes of play. Bring just irons and leave your woods at home. You can hit your 3W or driver on one hole, but may as well play the two long holes as true 2 shot holes. Just pick a distance you want to work on and tee off to hit that.Bring only every other club, too, to bring the weight down further, and then practice hitting different shot types to make due with the clubs you have. This can increase the challenge and make it more fun and interesting.The practice facility is nice with a little sand trap, a decent sized putting green and two levels for hitting balls. Just off mats, but thats pretty typical around here. Nothing spectacular.Reasonble price for the 9 holes and for range balls. I suggest buying the larger value cards to get your monies worth, and if still available, on Fridays the range balls are all 2 for 1.
