We have brought and sold several houses over the years and I can say, the last two were with Kate were the easiest!! Best experiences with listing our house and dealing with our escrow. This last one (in the midst of the Pandemic) was so quick, easy and painless, three words I would have never thought I would use describing escrow). Her team is amazing!!! Our escrow was not an easy one, but through the entire process Kate and her team was like a bulldog with a bone!!! She was tenacious, hardworking and committed to making our house sell. Kate is the consummate professional. I would say she should teach so others could learn what she knows, but one cannot teach the intangibles, which Kate has in abundance. I had very specific requirements and some I wasnt even aware of, but Kate discerned, because she listens. She did not try to talk me into the first house I saw, nor the 10th. She helped me visualize how each might work for me, but was equally forthright about possible drawbacks. Kate works very hard to bring you home. She made the process fun and I felt she had my back. If you are looking for a top notch agent - hire her! Youll get that and so much more.
Kate is incredibly thorough and knows her stuff. If she ever had any doubt about a question I asked, she had no problem calling a 3rd party to confirm and be sure of the answers. She took a lot of time explaining things to my wife and myself, and she explained things patiently and thoroughly even though shes probably had to explain these things to first-time home buyers thousands of times! She applied no pressure to buy anything, and let us take our time to consider and weigh pros and cons. She took many trips totaling a few hundred miles to show us many homes and help find the one that was a perfect fit. Kate is a real professional! If youre looking for someone who knows the SCV area, who actually listens to your list of wants and needs, who is organized, thorough, prepared and who can recommend the best lender, contractors, etc, Kate is your realtor. We endured three realtors on our search for our wonderful first home who all along told us all the reasons why we werent going to find what we were looking for within our budget. Her insight into the different neighborhoods when I’m looking for a home and her vast network of buyers when I need to sell, she not only makes it easy to make a quick and informed buying decision, but she has always gotten me far more for my home than I was expecting. Our total time on the market was less than a week from the start of the search to getting our offer accepted. Kate and her team did an outstanding job to evaluate our chances and outline the strategy for a successful offer. However Kate shone the most during the escrow process: organizing the inspections, interacting with escrow firm, supporting us on every turn. 2022-06-18 22:40:56We moved cross country during COVID-19, and Kate absolutely crushed it! She did many home tours via her iPhone while we were on the east coast, and was excellent w/ communication. Beyond securing the home, she helped us find people to do some repairs around the house as well as repaint. She helped coordinate this and let them in the house because, again, we were on the east coast! The closing (done all remotely) went smoothly, and Kate provided a wonderful housewarming gift. But it doesnt end there - she has been giving us thoughtful gifts at least 1x a month and on holidays to make us feel welcome. What a great idea!!Kate is the consummate professional, knows the Santa Clarita market very well, and she will serve you very well. I come from a family of realtors and have seen many over the years - and Kate is at the top!!
