It’s been amazing working with the Bottrell reality team . We originally had our own realtor going into this process and have many family and friends in the field but when we called on a number on for sale sign we ended up getting matched with Michelle and decided to move forward with her. Michelle was attentive and persistent. She was eager and patient to find the perfect home that we desired even in this competitive housing market. When we got discouraged she helped us push on to not give up. Michelle was always there to answer any concerns or questions we had. You can tell how passionate Michelle is about not only her job but she actually cares about her clients and their needs, it wasn’t all buissness and I believe that is important to create a relationship to be able to trust moving forward with the big decisions, she was personal on a professional level to create that relationship with us to make us feel safe in the decisions we are making. Our personal experience with Jim Bottrell and his team was better than we ever could have expected. Jim and his entire team treated us like we were family.We were under a lot of pressure to find a home within a very short time frame. The Bottrell team was extremely intuitive and tapped into all of our wants and needs relieving and accomplished all of this in a timely manner relieving us from all stress and anxiety. We were looking for a decent size square footage two story pool home with at least 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms and a 3 car garage, all within a short period of time. Bottom line Jim found us exactly what we were looking for. I have many great things to say about the Bottrell team!I went through a few real estate agents before matching up with them. In our first meeting, I instantly knew my wife and I were finally getting somewhere and in good hands. Informative, asked the right questions, and made us feel comfortable. Jim and his team even did research on homes for us based on what we were looking for and had homes ready to view, none of the other real estate agents assigned to us did that! We started looking for a home for our family and as a first time home buyer were very skeptical of the process and nervous. We met with The Bottrell Team at their office in which they presented us with education to help guide us through the process. We quickly found a home we loved and they promised us that they would help us with anything we needed and protect us and thats exactly what they did. As first-time home-buyers, we had no idea what we were doing, or even where to start. We were going from open-house to open-house with no agent to help us, and with no knowledge of how any of this works. We were able to call or text him at any time of the day when we wanted to see a home. Him and his team were available 24/7, and they love to reiterate that!After a week of viewing homes, we finally found the perfect one in the perfect neighborhood. However, there was one problem. This house had only been on the market for 3 days and it had 9 other offers on it. When our agent called the seller’s agent, I remember him telling our agent, “don’t submit the offer, it’s pointless, we have 9 other offers.” However, our agent didn’t give up. He put together a letter for us that made the seller want us to have his home. We interviewed several agents but there was only one that really stood out. What we learned from that process was that we were wasting our time interviewing other agents.We hired The Bottrell Team and they immediately had an action plan for us to ensure that we got the best deal on a home that was the perfect fit for our family. My husband and I were moving across the country with a short timeline and only two days to see anything in-person, so most of our house hunting had to be done online. We connected with the Bottrell Team through Zillow, which turned out to be the biggest blessing in the whole process. Our agent rearranged her entire schedule so that she could take my husband around for a whole day (and patiently listen to my feedback on each house over video chat). We decided it was time to stop throwing our money away renting, and instead invest in our future and buy a home. After doing some home-hunting ourselves online, and not having much success, we decided to hire an agent to help us navigate throughout this process because we found out that an agent that represents buyers is actually at no cost to the buyers. We were first-time home-buyers so we had no idea how the home-buying process worked.After interviewing a couple agents, we decided to hire the Bottrell Team to represent us. After meeting with our agent, it was clear to us that this team is the absolute best in the business. During our initial meeting with our agent, he used a form to take down our exact criteria so he wouldn’t waste our time showing us homes that we weren’t going to be interested in. He also gave us a presentation on the home-buying process that was extremely detailed and to the point. He explained to us how the process looks from start to finish. He explained to us so many different things that happen during this process like an appraisal, a home inspection, homeowner’s insurance, how property taxes are paid for, what an escrow was, what a contingency was in a contract, and so much more. He wasn’t like the others that just stopped in and said “let’s go look at homes.” After his presentation, we were so glad we didn’t do this thing on our own because what we realized was buying a home is a process, not an event. We truly felt so comfortable and educated from the get-go!4 days after meeting our agent, we got our offer accepted on our dream home! It was exactly what we envisioned for our first home, even down to the same town we wanted to be in! When we walked in to our home, we knew it was the one right away, and our agent promised us it would be ours! I remember him getting on the phone with the other agent while we were touring our now-home, and when he got off the phone he told us, “it’s a done deal, they want to work with us.” Come to find out, the other agent knew another agent that our agent had previously worked on a deal with, and the deal went very smooth. Hello we recently sold our house and bought a house with the Bottrell team. When first meeting with them in the beginning the Bottrell team seemed very nice and Jim Bottrell said he was going to handle the sell of our house on his own. After signing with the Bottrell team Jim gave us to one of his team members and they were not correspondent on keeping us updated on the whole process. We ended up finding more information from our broker since we were buying and selling a house at the same time then we did from his team. The second issue was with Mike he was our agent for buying our new home, he was great at first. After we made a offer on our home it all went downhill from there. He started looking at the best interest for him instead of his clients. Right before closing we found out there was a claim on the house within the last 5 years for a water leak. We had alot of questions concerning the claim and he was unwilling to get the information. Now 6 months later here we are filing another claim for the same thing and have had other problems with the home. I understand there may be problems when buying a new home but I feel like if they would of been more on our side we would not be going through this.I highly recommend not to use them and there inspectors!

My husband met and befriended someone who worked as part of The Bottrell Team at school. She shared with us information about what they do and explained to us the process of buying a home as first-time homeowners. I though my credit was going to be a challenge, but they manage to find my funding with a low interest rate. The whole team was accommodating, and worked with me and my crazy busy family by sending me listings as soon as they came on the market. Thanks to them I was able to achieve a goal that I thought was out of reach right now.

The Jim Bottrell Team assisted me in finding the perfect home in North San Diego County. Prior to meeting an agent with the Jim Bottrell Team, I had been working with another agent for about a month. “I want to tell everybody about my wonderful experience I had with The Bottrell Team when they helped me find my new home. After spending time with another agent (a friend of a friend) and losing out on great house after great house, I ran across The Bottrell Team via an online inquiry on Zillow.I didn’t think much of their offer about having access to homes that are not on the market, however, its true – I’m living proof! I’m in my home right now that The Bottrell Team showed me that was not on the market. Not on Zillow, not on the MLS. However, they had access to it.We negotiated a deal that worked for everybody and opened escrow. Upon being referred to the Bottrell team, from the start a friend referred us to them and we were instantly amazed. They were extremely professional, responded quickly to all my questions. I know looking for top quality agents is extremely difficult especially in this insane market. Nonetheless our agent did not fail to perform, we were constantly kept in the loop and we knew what was going on at all times, all questions were answered in a timely manner. We weren’t concerned on not finding a home, the confidence and professionalism of this team ensured we couldn’t fail. At the end we found our dream home along with a lot of benefits. Lauren has been awesome with great professionalism, positive energy, and tremendous support. I decided to list my home a year ago with a different brokerage. After the home being on the market for 4 months with only 8 showings and no offers, I decided to take my home off the market.
