Employees shout out!! I was heading into HomeDepot to get my monthly water refills and had the best customer service I’ve experienced here. During my check out MANNY (customer rep at self-checkout) was very friendly and helped with a quick check out and even offered to help load the new water jugs (3) into my cart. He then suggested I pull my car up and NICO came to help load the water right into my car. I’m 5 months pregnant and was worried about having to carry and load the water but they made my day. They both had smiles and super friendly through it all. They took the time to help me and this kind gesture made my day 100x better! Thank you Manny and Nico!!

I think this is one of the better Home Depot’s in Solano county. Most of them it’s hard to find someone to help but I’ve always had someone ask me if I need help at this location. I really like being able to rent the flatbed truck which was $19.99 for 75 mins at the time. Very helpful!

I have been a loyal Home Depot customer for years. Ive spent on average $10k - $25k a year over that time. Ill never spend another penny there. I had a large cart of treated lumber and when I went to get screws for my metal roofing I found screws laying all over the ground. I took the time to try and put them all in the boxes and grabbed one for myself. I get to the checkout and they couldnt find the cordless milwaukee tool an associate was supposed to bring up from the tool cage. I seen the associate and walked over to him and he said it was in the shelf at checkout. I walk back and the checkout guy has my box of screws dumped out and is counting them and mumbles under his breathe something. All the time I took to help the store out and this guy wants to catch an attitude like Im the great screw heist mastermind of California. I explained why the count may not be perfect but no one was trying to screw anyone. He said do you want them or not!? I told him what he could do with all the lumber on my cart and walked out. I will go to the woods and cut my own lumber before I ever spend another dime there. It was nothing to do with the $8 box of screws, it was the ridiculousness of counting an entire box of screws. Luckily Lowes is right across the highway, Ill be spending my money there for now on. Screw Home Depot.

Have spent many many hours shopping at this particular store never really had issues until yesterday. Condition of the store was disgusting never seen it so cluttered and dirty. Had ask for assistance in flooring waited 45minuites before just walking away. Made comment to cashier as checking out and just got a blank look. Really kinda lost for words! Oh well, came back to our local store Woodland found somthing I like a huge thank you to a store that gives great customer service.

Home Depots are virtually all the same. Better prices than the other large box store but with less of the high-end products to choise from. Staffing is barely adequate but they are helpful when you can find them.The store was clean and well stocked for being right after Christmas.Its my #1 hardware store choice due to price.

This morning I went to the Vacaville Home Depot to pick up some lumber, fasteners, paint and and additional items at my wife’s request. I went first to the lumber section. It was blocked off with two guys and a forklift moving around lumber and restocking.I continued around the store and finished my other shopping. When I returned the area was still blocked by the same two Home Depot employees. I asked themIf they would hand my what I needed, seeing it just a few feet beyond the barrier. I was told quite curtly they would be finished in 15-min. I explained I was finished with my shopping and just needed the lumber pieces. They again said it would me 15-min.I left my cart with everything I was going to purchase. I am now at Lowe’s typing this review. It’s actually a little closer that an Home Depot anyway. I’ll not be returning. As a plus for Lowe’s I’m a local building contractor and will now bring Lowe’s a lot more business.

Went to buy a trailer. Got great customer service from the GM Alan and Nicole. Highly recommend. The next day Phil took the time to help me unlock the trailer and get me fixed up. Not every box hardware store has courteous and friendly people. Worth your time to stop through and say hello.

We ordered flooring from Home Depot, who provided a delivery date of Nov. 20. We called the day of delivery since we had not received any notification that our order was scheduled to be delivered. We were told that the logistics company had the order and would reach out to schedule the delivery date (which would be later than the date Home Depot provided). We called the logistics company who told us they havent received the whole order from Home Depot. We called Home Depot back, only to be told that over half of our order was still in the Home Depot warehouse and we would need to be patient until they could figure out when they would have the entire order to the logistics company so they could schedule a delivery. Home Depot couldnt/ wouldnt provide us with a date that the rest of the order would be sent to the logistics company and their remedy was to offer us a refund if they couldnt get the rest of our order out within a week (a week late). Offer us a refund for product we never received? How generous. In the meantime, our flooring contractor is sitting idle waiting for something to install. Home Depots delay is costing us over $3,000 per day in contractor costs, which we will now have to mitigate by canceling the job and trying to reschedule our contractor. In my opinion, you should save yourself the frustration and costs, and go to Lowes or LL Flooring.

Home Depot is like many Retail stores today, in the fact that You just cant find an Associate to help when needed. Even if You just need assistance to purchase merchandise which is locked or secured. This is why I rated them 4Stars.That said ... I was in Vacaville, and stopped into the Store to see if they had a tool for purchase without all the accessories. I was looking to purchase a HammerDrill without the Battery, Charger, or other.Note that the Fairfield Store claimed (according to online resources) that they had 3 in stock, but that wasnt true. Vacaville did have the tool I needed in stock, so I purchased that along with several other items needed for home projects.I ended up returning the unopened HammerDrill with the additional accessories I purchased in Fairfield.Bottom line is the Vacaville Home Depot has an overall better inventory of merchandise, plants, and tools than the Fairfield Home Depot. The online resources seem to match their real-time inventory as well. Its sad that in many cases You have to drive locally, and spend the extra time to get what You need.

I was searching for an item in the lawn equipment isle and I heard “Good morning, can I help you find what your looking for ?” On the contrary, I’ve been to several Home Depot before with good customer service, but the service I had today was great 👍. “Manny” is what I call old school customer service the way I remember how customers should be treated, very professional, help searched for the item and went the extra mile to get assistance for that specific area.I’m sure that there are good employees that work there as well, but I was fortunate to experience great customer service today from “Manny”.Thanks again SirPlease share this with Manny at the Vacaville Home depot .

We had to find 1/4 in × 4 × 8 foot sheet of Birch hardwood underlay. The had it. The quality was surprisingly good! It didnt have a price tag, but the Sales Associate found the SKU number quickly. So we were in and out of the Store in minutes. Nice!

I have been ordering a bathtub since december of2022 I was told that I would receive a text to my email when it arrived. Never heard anything from them went back. I was told the bathtub did come in but it was damaged Never gotta call or text From home depot. Had to reorder a different bathtubs Im still waiting havent heard a word. It has been paid for back in May. The bathtub was supposed to be here. June 8th If it doesnt come this time I will not reorder. I Had to cancel with my plumber 4 times now. The worst service Ive ever had from a store that supposed to be a great store. And if youre in the store good luck finding anyone to help you. I had to walk all the way back up front to find somebody to call somebody for help So be prepared I believe this store is help yourself Very dissatisfied customer.

Blanca in the front was very rude when I was with my mother trying to find a simple product acted as if she didn’t know how to search anything up and looked like she really didn’t want to deal with us. Nobody else was in line we were patiently waiting our turn and didn’t even want to radio anyone for us. When an associate Matt came to finally help just didn’t know what he was talking about or even what we were looking for. Was gonna end up spending over a couple grand to remodel but I think Lowe’s will be best.

We were buying some carpet. The carpet measuring lady at the end of the cutting, was preparing our measuring ticket.At first she measured a wrong pattern, then she was trying for 10 minutes to find the Point on the keyboard, after several attempts she was not able to find it.When I told her to use the point under the letters instead of the numbering keyboard, she cut my words and rudely said I know how to do itHome Depot top managers should train the stuff, how to behave with customers

I went in today to customer service. I had bought the wrong size of an item. It was two days prior. I bought several items as I was completing a remodel on a bathroom. The item cost $7.99. I told the customer service that I had used my credit card. But as I could not find the receipt. She said if you don’t have the receipt you can not get your money back. I said I had returned things before. Another woman young also pointed to a piece of paper taped on the counter top. She said if you don’t have your receipt we can’t help you. I have spent several thousand dollars remodeling a house I bought last year. If Home Depot wants to lose a customer over rude customer service. Then so be it. If you are someone who does not know tools very well but know what you want to do this place is great for that. The people there are always willing to help as long as you politely ask them. Remember that there may be other people that have a similar issue so you may have to wait your turn before you get some one. Just like everywhere else they may be short handed but with those that they do have make up for it as long as you are patient. I have always been able to find what I need and if there an issue at the register they usually solve it in about 5 minute or less, usually less.

Its a Home Depot, not good, not bad just is what it is. Im not sure if they have less staff but it was harder to find people to ask questions. Also an area we needed a product which was the reason we went in was closed off for a start member stocking. We had to wait until they were due to get what we needed so more wandering around and killing time... It would have been nice if staff would have just grabbed the thing we needed and handed it to us.

Store is in a bit of a disarray. Check any of the building supplies because a lot of it is in bad shape or damaged. Pre cuts aren’t even close to being accurate. Also they keep saying there are loaders that work here. I have yet to see that and honestly I don’t believe it. Lots of staff wandering around not many doing much.

A return went faster, better than Ive ever experienced b4!, and I dad to interact with 4 different staff people on last visit and all were great!2021: If you know exactly what you need, and exactly where it is in the store, great, but even if you print out info online from home depot about an item, qty in their store stock, item # and location in store, and its not there, good luck if you need to ask an employee for help. Many folks here are surly and difficult to work with cause they are paid low wages. The guy who cut my lumber was both ignorant and not good with math. Never heard the word KERF, so why they let him use the saw is beyond me. He ruined my first cuts, and didnt care at all. He would have been very happy to continue ruining the entire lot but I told him to stop. I took the stuff home and cut it myself. Lumber obviously not his thing.Anther experience today. I called ahead to see if they had tulip or daffodil bulbs. Yes they said. I get there and no they do not have them.

This home Depot is pretty nice. If you get there off of peak hours its easy to find someone to help. They typically carry a great selection of many items I thought Id have to go to a specialty store to get. Its a big store, and if youre in a hurry ask something where what you want is. This has saved me a lot of time on many occasions.

Every associate I went through (5) in Vacaville was very kind and super helpful! I wanted a cabinet, but the ones they had were both damaged from shipping. I was on hold for 17 minutes, when they finally told me that they did indeed have the product I was looking for in stock. They gave me the aisle number and told me that they had multiple sizes for the product (after I asked). I drove to the store, went to the aisle and couldnt find the product. I called customer service again because I couldnt find anyone on the floor. They said theyd send someone to that aisle. I waited. No one came. I went to find an employee who was very kind (the only reason Im giving two stars). He wasnt sure if they carried the product, and he did not have a radio. He sent me to an aisle that was his next best guess and told me hed meet me there after checking with someone who did have a radio. I checked the aisle and he found me to tell me that they did not carry the product. Not only did I waste 17 minutes on hold, then I wasted time waiting for customer service to send an employee my way. All this for a product that they dont even carry!

I had ordered 2000 Sq Ft of 12 X 12 TILES to tile a house. The tiles were sent from two different locations. To my dismay the tiles from the different locations were of different dye lots. This means that the shade of color, size, and texture are different. I spoke to Home Depot and they will not remedy this problem. They should never send out different dye lots of tile. It is not only the shade of color but the size that is different. I have read that Home Depot has a habit of doing this. Shame on them. I had bought 3 pallets of tile that are virtually useless. I was not aware that I had to check each box to make sure that the dye lots were the same. I had assumed that Home Depot would do this as part of their job. DO not buy large amounts of tile from Home Depot.

This another good, well lit Home Depot. You will usually find what you need here, but the chain has gotten away from a deep hardcore hardware selection. The staff are always very helpful and go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. I have found the bathroom to be kept fairly clean.

My city needs some serious help sadly. There is absolutely no comparison between the 2 Home Depots (nor other stores honestly as of late).The size of selections, unbelievable presentation of layout and its cleanliness, along with the amazing ability to find help within less than a minute and to have that person happy to help were all such incredible assets I dont plan on returning to my local store.My local store didnt have what I needed for my blinds ($15 × 3) & told me they could have it transferred (a whole 12-15 miles) but it would cost me over $150 just for 2 of them!! They also said only 2 were available & they were discontinued & had no idea where I could get the other. This store had MANY in stock & of course I didnt pay for the OUTRAGEOUS SHIPPING CHARGES! (The same price no matter what you buy!)I recommend the store itself. (The stores policy on shipping needs to be changed.)

Ive always love going to this store still do like to come back on their nursery section. I gave 1 star due to their cutting center experience. The guy who was there at that time was extremely rude. Like extremely rude! I have 20 pcs of 2x2x8 that need to cut to 6 cause it wont fit in my car. When i got in the cutting area he told me in a rude manner that he was waiting there for 2 mins so i apologise but then again he look at my cart and asked me in a condescending tone are u cutting all that?? So i politely said yes sir then he replied do u even know that you have to pay to cut wood?? I was like no, but im willing to pay cause i dont have a tool to cut them. So he started cutting it them and he slamed the cut out on my cart, i felt really uncomfortable while he was looking at my cart and rolles his eyes at me, so i told him sir its fine, dont cut them so i said thank u and left. But this is the worst experienced i had with any store and i will think twice going to their cutting center. I end up messing up my car to fit 16 pcs of an 8 long lumber on my car.

Well this is sad to say but I am not happy with Home Depot in multiple locations.I called so I can pick up a specific type, brand, and color of grout and was assured that yes they have it.I asked them to hold it overnight so that I could pick it up the next day.They put it back because they dont hold things overnight. Didnt have cactus soil and one cashier came up and basically stood on top of me to ask the cashier that was assisting me if she smokes and the reply was smoke what? One of the worst experiences. wanted to purchase a Milwaukee product in which they had all the items in store. The employees told me it should not be an issue and will ring up at the counter. an hour goes by after we located the items on the shelf. product does not ring up with the milwaukee discount. clerk talks to manager in which I am told she will not come talk to me. No reason at all. I then go the the customer counter in which the manager finally shows up and lies to my face. If you are going to do customer service or manage a store, you should not blantly lie about physically looking at the product and saying it is not the same model. your employees all cleared it. either train them properly or learn to do customer service correctly!

This review is specifically about the flooring deals offered by Home Depot. Calculating the advertised price for the materials and for installation multiplied by the square footage of my property the flooring with installation should have cost $3200. After the measure (which cost $50) the actual estimate was $5600. The installation price is completely misleading as so much of the work is considered “extra.” I wouldn’t have been shocked if there was an extra cost for removing the old materials but to almost double the installation price shows that their original advertised price was simply and intentionally misleading. Even with that they reserve the right to add additional charges if they decide more prep is needed after they remove the materials, they do not commit to complete the job for the price quoted.

Wont allow anyone in thru garden entrance. I am recovering from knee replacement surgery and still walking with a cane, so I asked for an exception since it would be difficult for me to walk all the way around. I was told no. I went home and called the store manager, he said they only allow the use of one entrance so they can limit the number of customers allowed in at one time. This is to allow space for social distancing. Great, Im fine with that. But the young lady guarding the garden entrance was not wearing a face covering, and the manager said it wasnt required. I guess its okay for them to pick and choose what they want to follow. Lowes is allowing people in the garden entrance, and the employees i saw had face covering on. Guess where i will be shopping from here on.

Typical box lumber store most employees are too busy to care some know how to say hello but not much more help than that, unless you get into speciality departments and your spending high dollar. They choose what they want to price match on so if your curious call first and get a name of who you talked to before wasting your time going. Other than that they have what others have just seams to be lacking customer service.

I must write a review after a positive and professional experience I had at the Vacaville HD location on 2/14/19. I had a pricing issue with a saw. I explained the situation to Jeff who is part of the management team. He built a rapport with me within minutes. He greeted me with warmth and professionalism, which is beyond rare these days. Jeff welcomed my newborn into the world and mentioned that he is a father of four children himself. I completed the purchase and shall return!!

Bad Customer ServiceWhat an experience I had at Home Depot today...For 6 years Ive been purchasing 5 gl. jugs of drinking water. I have 3 jugs I put a $6 dollar per jug deposit on. For conveniences sake as I was passing by HD I thought I would stop and pick up 2, 5gl. jugs knowing I had 2 empty jugs at home I would return. As mentioned above, although I didnt have any empty jugs with me I thought Id just bring the empty jugs back for a refund later, beings how I frequent the store at least once a week, come to find out that once you purchase a jug you own it and can never get your money back on that jug. Pity... because HD gets their monies back on empty jugs... So now I have 3 jugs at $21.00 I will never be able to recoup... and needless to say, I will avoid HD at all cost when purchasing anything in the future... Wonderful customer service NOT!

Sarah at the Cust Srvc desk went ABOVE & BEYOND to find the item I needed(18V Ryobi grass shears/tool only),briefly,the computer indicated 15 units were in the store but cannot be located in Aisle 3 where the rest of the garden cordless tools were,she left her counter to assist me locate the item to no avail,she firmly stated: you are not leaving this store without the item you need because thats not good customer service since she heard me say I dont mind going to the Fairfield store,Sarah went to great lengths to get a store mgr who then got another employee to finally locate the shears in a box with very small SKU#s at the topmost shelf,the whole process took a while but Sarahs persistence & dedication saved the day! I dont understand how pepple can complain about the staff in any of the Home Depots.The Paint Dept, tonight, well, the fellow there is knowledgeable about what is in stock, where it is, what is the best choice for our particular needs and what are the alternatives. We didnt have a question that he couldnt answer. The Behr brand of paint works VERY WELL, and he knew just which one we needed. He mixed the color to match what we had already laid down, and we bid adieu.What more does a customer want? Met OUR expectations and THEN some!

Customer service is not very good, I came to pick up a large load and required a forklift, I asked how long it would take and I was told 20 minutes before they could load me up, there were 3 forklift just parked outside, the guys that told me it would take twenty minutes were sitting on a forklift having a conversation right next to my truck for about 20 minutes before someone els brought another forklift and got me loaded.

Redbeacon services are very poor and needs lots of work; this program is put together by a bunch of white collar office cubicle computer marketing geeks. Who have no knowledge of the real industry or have worked in the industry. Take a close looks at their job estimator (especially landscaping) it is just completely screw up. Customer are getting mislead with this kind of information they provide. I have used Redbeacon as a contactor since they started. Out of 25 bids I provided through Redbeacon we landed one client, I did the bid got the job and completed the work. The client wrote a good review about our services, 4 canceled, 20 decided not to use Redbeacon with notice ask why? You are better off using Home Advisor.
