Really helpful honest Man helped me out in the garden section, honored a price that was on the sign that should’ve been taken down the day before . I had already loaded a cart full of heavy product before he realized that the sign should’ve been taken down and he made sure I got it for the price that it said it was on sale for even though the sale had ended the day before. Real integrity I appreciate that man so much. That’s what we need more of in this world.

Never Ordering Appliances from here again.I tried stacking discounts for purchasing 4 appliances on top off a $100 discount for opening the credit card. Sales Person ADR27DR. They discounted items individual even Adam the Appliance Specialist couldnt explain to me how I could get $1100 discount on my invoice. I only see $900! The math was too much for him. He calls in the assist manager and she says he wants even more discounts? . Like Hello why wouldnt I want to save $100? Manager of that department wasnt much help either. She seemed more interested getting back to talking to her daughter who worked under her. Walked out of the store feeling a knot in my gut instead of confidently buying 4 appliances at a good price since I needed them.

This is the final destination for a home.We can get electrical, electronics, flowers, wood, tools, cement, bricks,carpets, floor tiles etc. The price is reasonable. They do have a rental division also. They will assist us in loading big items to load in the truck. If you wish to buy something especially for home or construction, you must have a try here.

Just wanted to say thank you to Daniel and the front checkout area. I asked him if he could assist me with finding someone to help me in the plumbing aisle and he immediately called for that help but no one responded. He tried again 5 minutes later, in a more stern voice. Then he changed the sound of his voice to make it sound more urgent. I love his effort and I applaud his customer service skills!!! Thank you Daniel.

I dont live here so I have nothing to compare this to. Theyre building another Home Depot nearby, the closest Lowes is far away, so business must be good.The layout of the garden center took me by surprise, it almost borders on an upscale boutique garden center. The garden center is impressive.The staff here are friendly, proficient and professional. This is a busy Home Depot.My only complaint has to do with a dirty parking lot. I didnt notice it when I pulled in the parking space. I saw it when I was getting back into my car, there was a piece of wood under my tire. I thought for sure I had a nail in my tire but when I backed up to check it was just a piece of wood. Phew. Watch where you drive and you park. Minus 1 bc of the parking lot.

I like Home Depot’s management. The staff are friendly and the service they provide are good. Eg. My GF bought a floor board which need a precise length and they have machine that cut it to the nearest mm. Their hour of operation are very long. So make it very convenient!

This location is very convenient, it is right off the 210 at Mountain Ave exit heading to the south side. I first discovered it when I needed some metric sized bolts and nuts. Home Depot has a pretty good selection for those fasteners that is hard to visually sizeup on a web page, it sure is convenient to see the bolt or nut up close and in person. They are also neighbors with a Ross, a Walmart, a Target, a Best Buy, so you can browse or shop your whole day away if you desire.

JJ saw me standing by the key machine, as he was walking by and tried to avoid eye contact, so I said excuse me, can you page for somebody please because I had already been standing there for 10 minutes. He said sure, but I kept watching him, and he walked over to the pro desk checkouts and never pages!5 minutes later, I ask an employee who was sitting on one of the desks with a customer, and he helps me page, and I know the difference because I hear him on the overhead PA system. 10 more minutes pass by, and I ask that same employee, even though he and the customer feel bad for me! 10 more minutes pass by, and I give up after waiting 40 minutes, with no one in the ENTIRE store being able to use the key machine!MANAGEMENT do better. Hire competent employees or train them up. I swear if I had the login code, I wouldve figured out how to use the key machine myself. Just like when I was able to use the wood cutting machine myself because no one ever came to help me then either.

I had a wonderful experience at Home Depot just the other day. I was welcomed by warm and loving employees. Then i was guided to the areas i needed to be guided to. Then the employee stayed with me the whole time. Until i got all my business taken care of. I got inspired by the employees, and i even got some spray painting ideas from them, and I got some special discounts.

Plenty of parking!The employees were SUPER helpful to me! I needed 3 big moving boxes (24x44) and couldn’t reach them on the high shelf. The employee I stopped who happened to pass by, helped me at my request immediately and even helped me find boxes that weren’t dented.When I got to the checkout lane, the employee there was even more helpful! She asked if I had a cart (cause I was obviously struggling to carry them all) and I stated I didn’t plan ahead. She was so sweet and went to get me a cart!Seriously, such great customer service!!And the pictures I posted are from the parking lot. Great view of the San Gabriel mountains :0)

I only went to the garden section at this location. They had a big selection of fruit trees at very reasonable prices, many are about $10 cheaper than some nurseries. I purchased a fruit tree and some bedding flowers. I really liked the selection of fruit trees at this location. Other Home Depot stores do not have the same fruit trees as this store.

After searching 15 minutes for a small AC unit nobody could locate, I waited 20 minutes on a sunday mid-morning for a forklift to get it down. The forklift was not being used for another task, it just took that long to find an employee to drive it over. Getting customers a product they are trying to buy should be more efficient than this.

I would do no star, but the Review demands at least one, I have purchased 22 WINDMILL Brand rose bushes with white sticky film on it (all of of the bushes theyre selling had them), I asked the sales person who had no idea what it was, and said they are fine, its nothing, it turned out it was core canker fungus with no cure and they are hard wood now.

Had a issue with a floor manager at the cashier area.they seldom have cashiers to ring up your items they perfer you ring up ur own items which is fine if I can get 5% or more off my ticket which they dont I tried to explain to the manager why I did not want to ring my items up and she raised her voice to becuz she thought I was trying to cut in line she was very unprofessional the way she handled this she was a young female looks as if she was just given her new title..

This Home Depot has remained consistent throughout my childhood and now, into my adulthood. Everything is always well organized with lots of offerings to choose from. The true measure of adulthood is how excited you can get by getting virtually checking off all the items for your home improvement needs in one place. Customer service isnt really proactive here - if you need help youll need to hunt someone down to get your question answered.Since this place is usually really busy, if you want to avoid waiting in line, you can order your items online for curbside pickup.

Don’t bother coming. They are consistently nearly always out of stock. you name it it’s not here. tried to get bolts and nuts for a large project could not find any of what I needed. But Arnolds in Sierra Madre had hundreds of each size and were quicker and easier. Today went back and again out of stock of 75% of what I needed. But hey they have auto parts and halloween decorations.

An older male employee told me, when asking if they are able to cut PVC Pipe that they dont cut pipe for my little projects. I walked away because I was stunned at the response. Employees are rude and useless. Plus, this store is completely self check out, yet there seem to be a ton of employees standing around at the front. No one to help though. This store has some of the most unhelpful employees. One guy at the Pro- registers pretended to be on the phone twice while we were trying to get some help and walked away twice. And don’t try calling., they have you on hold for hours if you are willing to wait.So many mistakes were made when placing a delivery order.The only thing that they have on their side is that they are the closes to my house.Next time I have to check out what other options i might have.

I haven’t had very many good experiences here except the very nice door greeter. I’ve spent probably thousands of dollars here from home improvement stuff to all my Milwaukee tools. Never have I once been helped by any employees. In fact Brenda was the least helpful. I was looking for some safety glasses which showed 34 online. She told me to go look down aisle 14 which I said I looked there but did not see them. Instead of looking at her handheld she said to just look down every end cap maybe they are there. Maybe I’ll start shopping at lowes. I’m starting to feel like Home Depot is Kmart of home improvement stores.

Not sure why most Home Depots in LA cant keep stock of faux wood blinds that measure 47x48, it has become a big challenge for my rentals. Not to mention, it seems like their cutting machines are out of order regularly. So I have to call around to figure out if theyre in stock and if the cutting machine works. This Home Depot was a HUGE pain to deal with today, had to call 4 times to be disappointed by this company, again.1st call - Person working the dept was on lunch, so no one else can answer whats in stock & if the cutting machine works?2nd call - Person transfers me to get hung up on3rd call - Same as last call4th call - They have the blinds but machine is downManagement (in all stores), you need to run your stores better than this! You really cant cross train people so theres consistent coverage of this dept for breaks? Thats like retail management 101, fill in for your staff as a manager if you cant, or at least have someone answer some simple questions on the phone. You also cant order extra inventory of popular sizes? Or keep the machines running well? It isnt even Summer anymore, why are blinds such a pain to find and buy them. Maybe you should consider self serve cutting machines too, because waiting for employees to come back from breaks to buy something is UNPROFESSIONAL!

Great. Filled the commander to the max...inside and top. Got the no interest deal for like 6 months and had help from one of the employees to load it all.Could have gotten free delivery too but we got it Now. Love home depot. I had my son with me but if I were alone (at 69 years old) I could have gone to the concierge and they would have walked me through the store with my list and pulled items off the tall shelves. Worst customer service ever! Spent over an hour calling the Monrovia store location. The one person that actually answered the phone could not answer my question so she fed me a BS line because she didnt know would not take the time to ask someone and find out. When I told her it is a service the web site says they perform and I have had it done at that location before, she put me on the hold for no one machine, that repeatedly says the same thing over and over again. After 35min called back several times for another 45min with no answer time and time again! All those employees walking around or standing up front pointing at a check out machine that I have to do myself and no one can answer a phone. They sure dont mind raising prices and taking my money after I ring myself up.

Visited today to get thinks and saw that you are going to changes around. WHY??? Theyre just fine the way you had the store. Employees I talked to said that there is going to be a big difference, even a Starbucks???? Again WHY? ITS fine the way you have it!!! Do not like it so far today, what will be like in March?It has been four months now since the change, they have finished now. I still come to do my shopping for what I need for my house and fine it takes longer to find what I need for my house. It doesnt make sense to me why the change?? There was a time when home depot was great. A knowledgeable staff. Easy to get help. Today you have to hunt employees down like you were on a hunt for bigfoot. Once you do find someone half the time they have no idea what store they work for. I get a lot of i think its lane 12? Just to go there a d no its lane 33. I used to be able to go in and out in 15 minutes. Last time 45 minutes. Not good. Three stars because the selection is amazing and it is usually a one stop shop which i appreciate.

Needed a Terra cotta pot for a sad little depressed Jalapeño plant I named Jorge,paid $10.99 for him from a store in Pomona,at first I left him there,he just looked like alot of work, but I drove all the way home and while I was taking a shower I just couldnt get that poor little plant out of my mind he did have a lot of fruit on him the jalapenos were at least seven and I thought if a plant that was so deprived of water and a nice big pot to live in could still bear that much fruit the least I could do is drive back to Pomona and pick him up after spending $60 for the terracotta pot and the pot plate $15 from Home Depot in Monrovia as you look at the picture you can see hes doing much better after being cleaned up and watered hes a perennial so hell come back next summer but for right now Im so glad I went back and picked him up and brought him home regardless of how much gas I spent and money for the pot he looks like a cute little guy its going to have a good life with me.

The Monrovia store is awesome. Close to home and the best deals on building materials and home improvement. This is my go to store as located right off the 210 fwy and Mountain. My wife lives in the paint department where they do great color matching and sell good paint brands. Customer service is pretty good as well.

Too much avoidable chaos. You order online for curbside pickup and get a text saying your order is ready and to call the store at the number provided when you arrive. You arrive and call the number...and it rings forever. No answer. So you park and wait. A masked Home Depot employee eventually comes up to your car and asks for your order info, and then disappears. Meanwhile about a third of the Home Depot customers are wandering around the parking area without masks and not social distancing whatsoever. Some time later your stuff arrives and gets handed to you through your passenger-side window. Look guys, youve been open this entire time. Get your process standardized and keep the clueless pedestrians away from the pickup area. The employees are doing the best they can, but store management is putting lives at risk by not controlling the parking lot at least as well as they do during Xmas tree sales!

I am a general contractor and every time I enter the store to find anything every employee ends up referring to their phone or smart device in order to find something. If I ever have questions and call over the phone many times I will speak to somebody that is rude or will abruptly hang up right after answering my question. If I were to go to ganahl lumber for anything at all every employee is able to answer questions or point me to the right person and I never leave without getting what I wanted.

The previous layout was easy to follow - now they are turning some of the isles sideways, making it much harder to locate items. So the items that I needed I had a couple of questions. I saw a home depot employee and I made eye 👁 contact because I had a question and He looks over at me and yanks his phone from his pocket and randomly dials his secret lover. Im not sure who, but he definitely didnt have time to help me out. It seems as though people have lost their sense of friendliness because im not asking for a lot I needed to know if my sink faucet would fit the standard sink. I just needed that boost of security from home depot so I can get this right.... anyhow, I got it . This location is quite busy, but what home depot isnt?! 100 percent service review. It was great I needed six solid doors I didnt see them on the lower shelf then this Home Depot guy ask If I needed any help so told him what I needed 6 hard wood doors I gave the dimensions and he went and got a lift look up high on the top shelf and there were all the door sizes I needed, Monrovia Depot Fran was his name Awesome employee and knew his stock.Happy service Vet, I love Home Depot .

This store and the Alhambra store have signs requiring that masks be worn, but there’s zero enforcement. At both stores, I saw Home Depot employees answering questions from people with masks pulled down around their neck and people with no masks at all. I lost count of the mouth breathers who had their mask sitting below their nose.I also saw no fewer than three employees at each store with their mask pulled all the way down while chatting with customers or other employees.If you’re going to have signs that make people think you’re doing your part to have a safe shopping experience, you should enforce it, especially with your own employees. It was supposed deliver today. We havent received any delivery confirmation calls and found that they had no idea why. After locating a manager turns out the delivery date was changed without notification because it wasnt available the day we ordered. We were assured it was in stock. What really makes me mad is that if we hadnt called, no one would have notified us. This is the last straw for me. I spoke with the manager about the concern, and they shared how they would have fast shipping to the store. I wanted the head rail cut to fit my window. Get to the cashier, and the first pack she grabs has no SKU.. I then notice he cut and have me the bottom of the blinds. No hole.I then go back to find him and he is telling me thats what I wanted. I said no. Why would I want blinds that I cant hang.Im not getting mad. But I definitely dont trust him anymore.He is telling me I can drill the holes. And im saying nope.He then just grabs 3 more packs and is measuring. And im over his shoulder to make sure he measured twice and cuts once.Tl/drI think he he was confused by my wanting two different colors on the same window. This is the worst and most frustrating appliance purchase Ive experienced. I spent $2k for a stacked LG washer and dryer 7 months ago. Home Depots delivery crew installed the units. Lately, my wife and I noticed the washer dryer have moved 2 inches backward and they are squeezing the dryer duct. The machines need to be moved back to their original position (theyre heavy). An anti skid material might have to be installed. I went to HD last Sunday and spoke to 3 staff and nobody was able to help resolve my problem. They renovated the store, now nothing is next to related items.For example, Electric department is now spread out the 3 different sections, with unrelated departments inbetween. To find switches and power receptacles (plugs), youll have to--of course-- go look next to cleaning supplies. A great place for onetime shopping. We are remodeling an entire apartment. A two button water saver flush Toilet. 24 inch Bathroom sink with cabnet, water valves, new hoses, under sink kit, medicine cabnet, bathroom wall storage cabnet, light switches, wall plugs, 52 inch cieling fans, 44 inch cieling fans, light fixtures, light bulbs, laminate flooring, bedroom, bathroom, hallway, door knobs. Front and back entry dead bolt sets, sink faucets, tub faucets and toe tap bathtub drains, wireless door bell. 2 inch cordless mini blinds cut to exact size for 10 windows, dry wall, paint 4.5 inch molding. They had everything I needed on my list. Home depot cant be beat. Staff in all departments very helpfull.

They are rearranging the whole store. I do not like the change. Very hard to find things I wish they left the store the way it was before. I am very disappointed with this change and so are other people that left their reviews as I see. Today while i was trying to buy a hose, I saw huge rat in the garden area, the worst part is that the rat was over the above the shelf it can easily run in to your face or bite you at the time that you are trying to get any stuff. Please take some actions .

This rating is for a water heaters only. I am a license plumber, and i highly recommed you read about what your buying. The industry is changing, and ever since that big brew ha ha with facebook and how the where sharing you info, and the CEO said you signed the agreement. Since no one raised hell about it, there are people literally exploiting you. About Home Depot, you can buy wood, paint, garden supplies. DO NOT BUY WATER HEATERS HERE. Here is why. With Rheem there are the PRO brands, and the inferior brands, they sell only pro at supply houses like mega western. Rheem also owns the Ruud and RayPak companies. The inferior models are sold at home depot. Rheem has three manufacture facilities in the US that makes water heaters for the pro suppliers. The ones that go to home depot are made in another factory in another country. If you said mexico your right. Say if you make a purchase from home depot. If your water heaters breaks, guess what, your the service person. They will like computer companies do, give you technical support for the warranty, over the phone. Or you can a phone of a local tech and they will tell you how to fix it. Then like me with my clients water heater being 7 years old. To replace it, it takes 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks. They cant tell where is there a home depot where i can pick it up, there isnt one, maybe TJ home depot.i have been screwed by rheem for this i pay attention. Let a contractor bear the burden. Where making purchase, if you first option is cost, and its an emergency, then do what you have to do. I suggest going with quality, warranty, is extended warranty availble, contractor, cost, service agreements. If you would have went to home depot 2 years ago, you would saw all types of waters heaters with 9 and 10 warranties. Now they kick everyone to the curb, and they only sell Rheem. And its a 6 year warranty. In the long run its more cost effective to get a good plumber. Asked them questions

There customer service sucks when you call the SERVICE DESK. They dont SERVICE you the paying customer at all. They put you on hold and just keep transferring you to another department, till they finally pick up the phone just to hang up the phone after you have been patiently waiting for 16 minutes and 21 seconds.
