Stay clear of this company, they dont value international customers... We had some spilled milk in the RV and the outright refused to rent us a carpet extractor because we did not have US passports as Germans... So we asked to see the manager, he could not find a solution. They literally gave us the middle finger. Well, aside from the carpet extractor we wanted to buy lots of stuff and tools to fix and outfit the new to us RV, well I guess we get em some place else... Home depot never ever again... Thanks for leaving us with soaking milk in the RV... Highly appreciated. I will spread that story.

Store is definitely not handicap friendly. There are no carts at the entrance where handicapped parking is. You have to walk to the opposite end of the store to get a cart, then back to the other end of the store to shop. After getting your items, only 1 register is working again at the opposite end of the store, which means you have to exit at the opposite side of the parking lot from the handicapped parking. From now on, it will be Lowes for me.

This is why I rarely go into Home Depot the rudest people’s. I went in with my husband mind you he is disabled in wheelchair. Looking for flagpole kits young lady directed us to garden side. We couldn’t find we ask two men that where in that department. So we ask one that was just standing where we can find he didn’t know he ask the other employee he said it’s gonna be a while. Before they put them up and out to the floor. Store never in good condition. Never going back I’ll stay true to Lowe’s. Better management needs to be applied to employees. Not a happy camper

The porterville store has the ABSOLUTE WORST Customer Service I have EVER experienced!!!! The associates give you attitude over the phone, they wont look for anything in store. Literally a joke to get anyone in store to help you. During the worst times and times of emergency (porterville floods) Theyre rude, condesending. Act like they are all managers on duty with terrible short attitudes once you ask to speak to the store manager and when you ask for the name of the store manager, because the manager is in a meeting the associate refused the name of the store manager and would not help me. Said he couldnt tell me her name. As a once home depot employee, everyone wears their names on aprons and the employees are posted on the wall, especially a manager so because I was trying to do business over the phone, they arent allowed to give out names?! THIS HOME DEPOT IS MANAGED POORLY AND OBVIOUSLY DO NOT REGARD THEIR CUSTOMERS. EXPLAINS WHY THEIR PARKING LOT IS EMPTY COMPARED TO THEIR COMPETITOR (LOWES) ACROSS THE STREET. THAT EXPERIENCE JUST MADE ME A LOWES CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!! EVEN IF HD CARRIED SOMETHING LOWES DOESNT I WILL NOT SUPPORT THAT TYPE OF TREATMENT!!! They had what I was looking for which was to rent a spray paint gun. The price was reasonable and the machine was in great condition. I had no problem while using it and would use it again if I needed to. The person who helped me was friendly and answered all of my questions in detail. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking to buy or rent tools.

What needs to be said about Home Depot,? This place has everything you could possibly need and more! The only challenge is sometimes finding a knowledgeable employee. But if you do find one he seems to know everything! And very very helpful in helping you if what you need, I like the big Isles and the organization of products. The checked out is usually quick and a lot of times Ill go through the nursery register which seems to be a little quicker. If you need something or anyting in your life, go to Home Depot, you will find it

So yesterday 9/7/2020 I arrived at the store before 7pm. I went to buy a new washer and dryer and was there a bit over an hour couldnt get a representative to come and help me. There was a couple already waiting for a representative when they finally got helped, or were in the middle of getting helped the represented had to leave and didnt come back. That couple told a different representative, After they were tired of waiting for the first one. that they would come back some other time when someone would be available to help them. Unlike them I will not be back to the Porterville store. let me tell you there was hardly any customers at the store at that time.

I ordered a 7.5 cu. ft. Mini Refrigerator in Whiteby RCA. When it arrived I unboxed it and it had the drawer cracked the hanging trays some where broken, the foot was broken as well... Called customer service and the lady ended up telling I could not just get those broken items replaced that I would have to get a whole new one.. I paid again.. received it the next day. It also had some small damage but I didnt want to return it as well. It took a few days to get the damaged one picked up. I called back to ask about the refund. This is what made it a horrible experience... They had me on hold forever calls were dropped... Just to be on hold for like an hour to be told that I would have to wait longer than the lady had originally told me for my refund. I have always shipped at home depot.. but this experience has ruined it for me. I will be taking my business purchases elsewhere.

We go too The Home Depot at least 2 times a week. Me and my wife manage motels so we buy lots of supplies there. Except Porterville Home Depot you can never find someone to help you. All the employees hang out in front most of them dont know much. And its very depressing Ill admit I know somethings but dont know all. Any help is considered and its very unprofessional especially when Home Depot is a billion dollar business. I will never shop here again Id rather go to the other place where people are eager to help this must mean they appreciate there jobs. 1-14-2022 Friday evening these employees need to be addressed on professionalizm.

Terrible customer service towards the end of the day, got there thirty minutes before the closing time and they acted as if i should not be in the store, when i asked for help, all the lady could tell me is that they close in 30 minutes. She didnt offer any help, i walked past at least 7 other employees in which none of them ever said a word to me nor did they offer help. Terrible store, terrible customer service. if you do not want people there then lock the doors at 8:30 so everyone will be out by 9PM, in which i would have been if they offered help, instead i turned around and walked out. I will not be back again.

They had newer spider tubing that i would have to rig up and convert which i didnt want to do haha. Very poor attitude from the start. Had the tulare store call about a product and they treated her nastly till she made a point to them that she works for home depot. Porterville lied about the inventory they had in stock. We purchased it in tulare and the product was to be picked and ready when we arrived. It was not and still in the shelf. Asked to speak to a manager and non were available. Told the bright pink haired lady at the register and another staff member was laughing and making jokes about the issues. Good thing Lowes is across the street. Still have not been able to talk to a manager with multiple attempts in person and by phone.

Home Depot stores are usually generically laid out & organized. What makes 1 better or preferable (imo) is customer service. At the cs desk, staff is great. Finding someone to answer questions is more difficult than usual in this store. When employees stand behind their department counter & comment to each other at obviously distressed customers, thats unacceptable. Ive left the store & tried Lowes across the street after watching HD employees acting put out because they were asked to help customers.

After 45+ minutes they didnt have the item I needed- though according to his hand held device it was showing 4+ in stock. Mind you, I had a Plumber waiting at my home.Left Home Depot and went to Lowes- approximately 15 minutes later had what I came for and was on my way back home! This location is close to my home & the staff is friendly. however Ive been to several Home Depot stores, its frustrating that this location doesnt have the same merchandise other locations have. Someone, allegedly a female manager, just had a totally harmless woman living in her car arrested as a thief, although she was taking just some recycling from a trash barrel. The woman, had her car impounded and she cannot pay the fee. She has been trying to make ends meet by recycling. Her car was in the impound lot for several days due to the Nov 11 holiday, no one available to get it out for her. This is unfair of Home Depot and that should NOT be the policy. Ask them to be removed, yes, arrested...no!

Home Depot has been my choice for years over the competitor across the street but I will never use the companys online ordering system again. I placed an order for a speciality refrigerator on May 28, 2014. After multiple delays I finally got notice that the unit would finally arrive on July 7th. Unfortunately I was flying to the east coast later that day so I made a special trip down to the store to show them my delivery notification and was assured that it would be placed in the back of the store. I came home on July 18th in time to go to the Porterville store to pick up my order. They couldt find the order even in the computer until I searched back on my phone and displayed my order confirmation. After an exhausted search of the store and multiple calls by a very sincere associate it was still no where tone found. I found another email where I could track the order and showed arrival now at July 22. When the associated called back to guaranteed the July 22 was the delivery date she was informed on the phone that the unit was scheduled to be delivered on the 7th. Was it delivered and sold? Did it make it off the truck?Needless to say I canceled the order and will never use their online service.

I usually go to Lowes. Home Depot hasnt been the best in the past when it comes to buying everyday plumbing parts. I went in to get a 3 inch cap more than once and they are something they should have in stock. They didnt more than once.
