This place is dangerous as I always want to buy everything!The staff is always very friendly, and willing to help. We had a gentleman go out of his way to assist us in selecting plywood for a project. He wanted to make sure we had the right thickness and density for what we wanted to do. He also saw us trying to get a huge piece of plywood into my SUV. He had just gone to lunch, but went out of his way to help get this in the car.

I give this Home Depot 5 stars cuz the employees there are some of the most honest and helpful people I’ve met. From the manager down to their cart guy. I even left my wallet in the shopping cart once and the next morning went to check and the cart guy had turned it in the night before. Thank you to all of you

Very poor service and employees don’t know much about products for sale. I almost bought a refrigerator, women in appliances wanted to ring me up before even finding the product. She said the computer says it’s here somewhere but I’m not sure where. I said “no way, you gotta locate the item first before I pay for it” I ended up leaving with purchasing nothing because she didn’t know where to find it. Sad customer service.

Do not buy anything that is supposed to have a battery in it. Bought a battery bowered gardening tool and battery was missing. Went back and got a new one. Well that batter was used and beat up in the box. Last time I buy anything expensive from here. Wasted over an hour going back and forth. Next time going to Lowe’s.

IF YOU DONT WANT MY BUSINESS JUST SAY SO!After standing in a line for fifteen minutes to check out, I was told I (and everyone behind me) had to go to the END of another ridiculously long line because Im going on break. OK, breaks are needed and should be given in a timely manner, I get that.It just seems a ***simple courtesy*** would have been to tell everyone in the line, including me that the gentleman ahead would be the last, so we all didnt WASTE OUR TIME standing in a line for a clerk that was leaving.However, it solidified my intent to NEVER ever shop at this disaster of a HD ever again.

Went to the HD store to order a dishwasher turns out no one was working in appliance department. Call the manager and a confirm the worker is out and they have no backup person to cover sales at the department. The hastily send me to the customer service desk to make the order. Service desk just say this is not what they do and it is just the same as I go home and order it online while she was busy with her own paper work. A different associate with a kind soul at the service desk overheard and came over and help me order it at the store computer. What is the point of a brick and mortar store with employees in sales?The dishwasher was delivered on schedule. But the crew was in a rush and did not install some of the parts onto the dishwasher. Called customer service and had to schedule another crew to come back on another day, but this time carrying the wrong part. The crew did not bother to make a call to the office to rectified the issue and left it is up to me to call customer service again. Another crew was assigned and scheduled on another day after the following weekend. This time the crew was not given any part based on the crew saying they were expecting a different model number than the one that actually is partially installed. No one bothered to check the order number which was referenced on every call of which exact machine was installed. This crew however have the decency to call the office on the spot to clarify what is needed and took picture of the page out of the installation book that describes the part that is missing and not installed. The office have to schedule yet another visit for the installation of the part. This installation experience really is the all time worst. I paid for a professional installation and yet after 5 days the dishwasher is still not fully installed and fully functional. I want a refund for the professional installation I paid for.

My favorite place for disappointed. Find 8AWG ring Terminals but no crimper for it. Had lug terminal crimper, no lugs.This place is a joke and I cant find anything I need half the time I try the disappointment center.

There really isn’t much I can shed light on when giving a review on tho Home Depot that hasn’t been said in someone else’s experience. I love the place. My favorite store in my city is the NORTH UPLAND LOCATION ON 19 th street in upland, near the 210 FWY. I can get what I need completely in 1 stop most of the time, and fairly quickly as well.

Its like all the home depot stores they have all the materials tou need but are always short handed and most of the stuff you need depending on the area is on the middle or top shelf so you need employee assistance and not all are qualified to use forklift and the one that get qualified get let go after a few years because they get paid more

We were looking for a replacement cartridge to replace the one that had failed on our kitchen water faucet. When we arrived at the plumbing aisle there were no cartridges that fit our faucet and they way they were organized in a haphazard way. After looking for a while we decided to ask for help from a store associate. The person who helped us didnt know what he was doing and gave us the wrong cartridge. We had to drive back and forth between the store just to return it. Maybe the store associates should be trained in their areas before starting their job or maybe they should be advised to admit they dont know before giving advice on something they dont know. I definitely dont want to waste my time again returning parts after being misled by someone who should at least have basic competence in the area where they work.

One of my addictions. I love The Home Depot. I feel like Im having an affair when I run off to shop here, my husband works for Lowes.The prices are much nicer to me. The availability is better. There is much more variety and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly... usually. Parking is great.Only issue Ive ever run into was ordering an appliance but that was a one time thing. Ive ordered from them again and again happily since.

I ordered a grinch theme Max the dog metal stake online. I went to go pick it up and the app wasnt working right so I went into the store. I waited in line and I was not helped even though I was next in line. Instead the associate helped the 2 men who cut infront of me. Even after she helped them she started to walk away until I moved to a much uncrowded area of the counter. When she did start helping me I could tell she wasnt happy that I said something about her not paying attention to the people in line. In the time that she helped she and another Co worker started discussing other coworkers shifts and the fact that they werent happy about the shifts. This is very unprofessional to do as an employee in front of customers and should remain in private. When the associate went to get the order she set it on the counter and was about to walk away until I said thats not what I ordered. She said something about the skew not being right. Had the employee who pulled it off the shelf looked at the item and the description, they would have known the skew and item did not match. I did speak to a manager and I did bring all these concerns to her attention and unfortunately I could tell she didnt want to hear what I had to say and said 2other stores have x amount. Made up an excuse as to why the employee didnt connect the dots. If you work there than as an employee you need to become familiar with the products sold in store! I dont ever order things online from the home depot because even when visiting the store you hardly ever meet anyone who works there is actually happy to work there! You can never find anyone on the floor to help customers. In fact the customers have to go find the employees themselves. When we do find an employee theyll say this isnt my area, let me page someone for you. You hope for the best for an employee to show up! Todays visit wasnt pleasant.

Went in to buy a water meter key, they had exactly what I needed and the price was reasonable. Only issue I have is they only had self checkout open which usually isn’t an issue but mine glitched and I had to wait for the attendant for help. If I’m expected to do your job for you the least you can do is make sure you are available to help when the machine I’ve never been trained to use breaks !

This store is great. Very clean, well staffed with knowledgeable, friendly people. Nicely stocked, lots of parking and a Farmer Boys restaurant in the parking lot near Placentia avenue. Also a Sam’s Club with discount gas station I the parking lot. Also many discounted items throughout the store and a large garden section.

I bought cyclone wires from garden section and Bill Cox saw me looking and offered help right away even when he was not assigned in garden section. He did an extra mile and carry the cyvlone wires and put it in my cart. This is one of the reasons why customers go back to a store. We need more people like Bill. He definitely gave me a good customer service. He needs a raise! Shane V. helped me load the wires in my truck he was kind too.

Not a good customer service experience. Dont expect to get much help from the employees here. Theyll just point you in a general direction and say good luck. One girl said, Its probably over there. An older guy just said,I dont know every square foot of this place, with an attitude after he had just pointed someone to an item referencing the specific location. Got what I was looking for, though, so thats good.

Good store. Plenty of merchandise that you find at every other hardware store. This one in particular is very well kept. Restrooms are well kept. Its very busy due to the Hispanic neighborhoods in the area (Its not a bad thing. Besides, Im Mexican so I can say it 👍). The loading bays are always busy. There is an extremely large amount of parking. Please lock your vehicles and hide any valuables. I have observed tweakers (transients) zooming up and down the parking lot on their stolen bicycles observing vehicles waiting for a chance to break in and steal something. Please trust me on this, I have worked around these creatures for the past 10 years. I know what they are doing. Other than that, its a good Home Depot. Enjoy your visit.

Surprisingly not too many employees helping customers. Only 2 employees were very helpful and friendly, guy in paint department & cashier Anthony. Long time ago this store use to be fill of employees and all more than willing to help a customer out by either answering questions or showing how to do it yourself. Surprising, but still prices are lower and they have many items in stock.

Our first time at this location. My husband and I were buying supplies for our house right before closing and it was too big for our car. Adam was walking out as we were trying to put this large plywood in our car, he helped my husband take it back to be cut so it would fit. We really appreciated Adam and his kindness, he went above and beyond any employee I have ever had an encounter with at Home Depot. Most of the time we have to look for or ask for people to help us but Adam saw our struggle and helped us find a solution. Thank you Adam!

What good is being a pro member if you cant use the perks you build up by spending thousands of dollars. Only to be met by incompetent and unsympathetic employees. I understand there was nothing they could do on their end. But they could have at least offered to steer me in a direction to resolve the issue. The issue i am having is i have been unable to log in to my account via the app for several weeks now. Even when reinstalling. This took place at the customer service desk. Ordered online to try their curbside service. It was easy to order on line in the website. In a short time I received a text message saying my order was ready. Gave me instructions on how for the pickup. I texted them after arriving to let them know I had arrived. Less than 5 minutes later a employee brought my order to the car. This is a great service if you dont want to enter the store. It was easy and quick. Especially if you have Ordered heavy items. Good service.

This location is not the nearest one to our home, but we decided to stop here because it was on our way home. What a great decision!We met Robert and Jeffrey, two employees from the gardening department, and those guys were amazing. They helped us from the beginning to the end to find the perfect pavers.They no only were helpfull, they were also friendly and respectful.Every company needs great employees like them.Thank you Robert and Jeffrey, you are the best!

The workers here are helpful, but Ive come here a few times searching for something listed as in stock online, but wasnt where it was supposed to be or out of stock in the store. Their page department matches paint chips perfectly and when I went the other day, they had nitrile gloves in stock, so bonus points for that. I also like how they have been providing masks at the entrance of the store for people who dont have one coming in.

Today I purchased paint for my business and was very satisfied with the service. I bought 3 gallon of certain color and it was matched perfectly... and 2 other different colors...also matched perfectly. I was in and out as quickly as the paints were processed and that was about 20 mins because of the custom colors requested and amount of paint needed. Over all the 2 gentlemen that helped me made it seem very easy to get things done. And Im very thankful for their service.

Came here and looked around and 3 reps offered to help until the person in charge of the department because available . Online pick up is outstanding for getting ordered items quickly, just be sure to double check your purchase. With the overflow of orders they are currently receiving, they can sometimes misplace items. Inside the store staff is helpful and shelves are well maintained.

The store is clean and well kept. It was around 7pm on a Sunday that I visited and there were store clerk cleaning and organizing goods and carts at the entrance. Store clerks did not look busy, and were helpful to customers who needed help. Self checkout was quick and easy. I recommend.

The staff was so helpful. I had my crazy puppy with me so my hands were full. Two different women helped me. They carried my large box for me. Then LynnAnn insisted on taking the box to my car so I didnt have to leave my puppy unattended even for a few minutes in the car. Iam a do it your selfer and their tool rental section is amazing, huge selection of the expensive tools (that i cant afford to buy) to repair your home for very reasonable prices they offer half day full day and weekly options so its perfect for quick jobs and darn near full remodels half day is perfect most of the time and it wont break the bank. The manager is an awesome guy very professional and has the answers for any question you may have of the tools they offer .. BUT KEEP IN MIND they are not open till 10 anymore they close up shop at 8 now so keep that in mind. If you try and do your repairs after work you may not have time to get back before they close so you will have get full day rate .. But even that isnt very much more than half day price ..

I am a licensed General building contractor Home Depot really does a great job all in all when it comes to getting materials for the projects that my company builds. We do a lot of remodels and room additions, ground up, and build outs the store has great hours great people working for it and everything I usually need day or night they are a good all-around store for the building industry. Theyre not perfect but who is or what is here on Earth.

Had to drop it down to 3 stars. Lumber area is bad. They need to clean up the bins and make sure the correct lumber is in the correct bin. Also the high end red wood 2x4 was full of ruined pieces. No way anyone would pay the higher price for wood that is split, cracked and ruined. They should pull those pieces out. Honestly the whole bin was full of damaged pieces. I spent 30 minutes pulling them out looking for just one that was decent.Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always plenty of stocked items.

The website said 3 in stock. After sorting through miss-shelved parts -- nothing. They had something similar, so I asked the guy working the plumbing aisle, who said, Sure, that will fit your clay to plastic coupling job. He was wrong - he faked it, trying to interpret the abbreviations on the fitting, instead of looking it up. All he had to say was I dont know, or else actually look up the part. Fortunately, I had a good idea of what the fitting looks like and the model #. Lowes, here I come.

This place is pretty awesome I came to duplicate a key for my car (i have an older version car without a chip in it so it was easy to duplicate) the key duplication ended up costing me 2 dollars! and since its been raining so much I saw that they were selling umbrellas for only five dollars. I felt like a snagged a deal with these reasonably low prices :)

This particular Home Depot is not as busy as most, and I think its because its situated in the back if a lot behind Sams Club. The store is layed out and clean, but it seams busy in a youre in my way sort of feeling. This store has a lot of employees actually working, but they are moving displays or restocking. It feels as if they are always in a rush and you are in their way just being in the same aisle shopping. Im not one to ask for help, but if I did, and was there to witness others asking for help and employees not seemingly interested in customer service. Just my takeaway.

Was pretty busy. Lots if diyers and contractors.Some sections were temp closed for forklift restocking but they were quick.Place was clean, latrine clean, garden section was well stocked.I like this store better LH or LM. These 2 stores dont have enough parking.More than ample parking at Fullerton. Christmas tree lot, well stocked and busy.Checkout was smiling, friendly, efficient.

Home Depot and its employees bring a whole new meaning to Do it Yourself......even when it comes to paying for your things. Associates do whatever they can to avoid helping you out. Then the only lines open to pay are a contractor line and self checkout. What happened to good work ethics and a sense of urgency? Definitely does not exist at the Home Depot. Doesnt seem to matter which one you end up having to go to.

The Cypress Home Depot is my favorite. In my work I find myself in a different Home Depot almost daily to buy supplies, tools and other materials for my clients and myself, and if its possible I will go out of my way to visit the Cypress Home Depot. I find the associates are helpful, the management is present, and the cashiers are friendly and mostly cute! Im heading over now, see you there!

Went here to purchase a toilet. Price rung up wrong (or maybe I grabbed the wrong one? There were 2 items very similar). Either way, I asked for a price check and was told to pay the price on the screen or leave. I already waited 10 minutes there for someone who disappeared. There were 3+ employees standing around at the self checkout. Ive bought stuff here before never had a problem but the attitude was so bad I have to leave this review.

Worst experience ever at a hardware store. My brother had bought a Rheem water heater about a year ago. The first one leaked 30 minutes after it was installed. The replacement had multiple issues over the last year. Finally Home Depot agreed to take the second one back, but would only give store credit. Since he still needed a water heater and HD only sells one brand he didnt want to buy it there. I told him if he gave me the store credit than I would buy the water heater at Lowes. A week later I tried to buy a bag of fertilizer at HD. They asked for my ID to use the store credit. They refused the transaction saying only my brother could use the card. I then had my brother join me at HD so we could transfer the name on the card. They said that was impossible. I asked for the manager. Same story. I suggested that we purchase HD gift cards with the credit. Not allowed said the manager. So I said lets pretend we buy another water and return it. Then they could give the store credit to me. Again the manager said no. I then said what if I didnt have a receipt and brought a water heater in. The management agreed that they would have to give me store credit. So I asked if we could just go through that process at the desk. He refused. So we then go get a water heater put it on a cart. I purchased it with the store credit. That cashier didnt bother to ask me for ID on a $650 purchase with store credit. We walk out the exit door. Proceed directly to the entrance with our new water heater. Go to the service desk and I loudly say I dont want this water heater and I dont have a receipt! They then issued a store credit in my name and had to restock that water heater. Idiots are running the Home Depot in Fullerton.

A year ago when I bought my first house (old house) home depot became my favorite store, never had a bad experience until today, I need a vent hood for the top of my water heater. I pull up to home depot at Placentia and ask for help, first person is completely honest with me and tells me he doesnt know nothing about water heaters but offers to send me someone else this happens all the time. Today Mike ( A man on hes 60 around there ?, first he tells me, oh! You have to buy the whole heater for that part, after I tell him that Im sure its sold separately... he says Oh! If you dont see it here we dont have it, and starts walking away.I just got out of Lowes with the part I need.A lot of people now days is out of job, some for choice and some because they cant find one. Im veerrryyyy forgetful, so I lost my receipt today...I just left the store, and I had a so-so experience! First, I took forever looking for the ticket, and seeing this, the workers never said anything like, oh let me look it up, or let me check the item for you! I buy all my supplies here for my home DYI projects. The store have all the supplies I need here. However, the cashiers always make entry mistakes. This is my second time experiencing a wrong punch by the cashier. The first time, they have punched an item left on the counter by another customer. Hence I was charged for an item I have not purchased (item was left by the adding machine and not even placed in the bag with the items I bought but I was charged!). Today, I bought an item which was entered as 2 items hence was double charged. I went back to the store near closing time and was told to come back the next day as store is already closing. Tomorrow, I will have to drive back to the store to clear up the double charge. A waste of gas and time. Please be careful at the cashier as mistakes are very frequent during checkout at this store.

Last night I had a gas leak at 9:52 pm ... rushed to Home Depot knowing they closed at 10. Made it to the parking space and ran to the exit door... a group of employees were in the doorway ... 10:00 made my way to the first one on the door. I used to love the home depot layout, then it changed like ten years ago. Now where stuff is always creates a hunt. The app (would have been three stars without this) can help, if it is in stock, since it will give you an aisle. Of course it also sometimes gives you meaningless locations like FW, GW, etc. Good idea, but not well executed. My other gripe is quality control. It seems there is a high percentage of returned stuff or messed up stuff. Pieces missing, stuff obviously used, etc, but back on the shelves. Also they seem to always be out of low stock on a lot of things, which I do not have happen at Lowes.

Home Depot teamed up with The Retail Equation, Inc. to provide an unfair practice. I purchase Items from Home Depot (over $40,000 total) and while bring back items to Home Depot for return; Home Depot Employees was reluctantly to go over my file of receipts and encouraged me to return my merchandises for return with store credit. Since I am going to purchase other products and not having to go over 200+ receipts with items description abbreviated that difficult to match to the return items, I agreed to get the store credit.Home Depot offered the store credit prices based on the lowest price for the products within the last 6 months, not on the current pricing of the products. No wonder Home Depot is promoting the store credit for return to their customers instead of going over the receipts. When I returned the products I purchased on the receipt paid for partially with Home Depot Store credit, the Items were denied for return even with original receipt. e Home Depot and Retail Equation was unable to confirm the sources of payment on the Home Depot receipt. Home Depot passed the denial issues over to Retail Equation which Retail Equation turned around pointing the problems back to Home Depot is the cause of my return denial. My name is on the black list for all Home Depot return. My return was denied even thought I have original receipt for my purchase from Home Depot. I am now demand the proper practice from the Retail Equation, Inc. /Home Depot to solve my return solution. This type of practice provide unfair to customers and consumers like me and must be stopped immediately. As a customer, I am looking forward for better consumer practice and policy to the public.

Paint department. First time buying interior paint and the young man working in the department either was having a long day or just plain rude. He asked us what kind of paint we wanted, and we asked what are the different types of paint. He pointed at the empty gallons like if i knew what each gallon meant. Currently with the covid19 virus this store is at the bottom. Some of the employees dont wear face masks and a lot of the customers dont wear masks either. You can keep your germs and Ill keep my money.
