This place is full of people walking around looking at your car waiting to steal from you I would not come here unless you want your tools stolen. I seen some guy pull up and take from a work truck right in front of me I will post Pictures of this vehicle.

Everyone in Home Depot seem to really know the store. I wish I would have gotten the young and man who assisted me. They both went the extra mile. The parking area is well light for security. Plenty of parking. Many cashiers to assist you. Very clean store. I like this location. I Tried It and liked it.

Good selection of cheap scrap wood, but unrealistic store policy of no employees cutting said scrap wood with their miter saw. I totally understand that if they have to cut dangerously small pieces of wood, but a piece of 1/4 plywood that is 4x8 without warpage or other damage?? - I was forced to hand-cut using extremely dull wood saws.

Is there a signal blocker in this building or is it just terribly designed for cellular reception?Aside from that, this is a Home Depot. Its like any other Home Depot, except its here. Youve found it. Welcome to the mecca of wet, rotting wood.For homeowners: Sometimes the prices are kinda doo-doo. Consider shopping at Lowes for most things instead. Youll get better prices on individual items, a cleaner/friendlier atmosphere, and more consistency on liquids like paint and stains.For contractors: Decent prices on contract packs for stuff like lightbulbs and certain repair/installation materials, and an excellent return policy. Other than that, theres no practical difference from Lowes.For everyone: DO NOT get wood stain from Home Depot, and DO NOT get your lumber here. Im speaking from experience of staining a bunch of baseboards as well as some personal wood projects.Go to Ganahl Lumber in Torrance for better prices, and Lowes for better stains/paints.

One of the biggest locations in south California. More variety of every thing. Love spending time walking down the isles looking for new innovation in the house improvement industry. The store was great but the customer service can use help. I went to check out and asked the cashier Dalia if she was open because she was standing by the chips and just stared at me and did not say anything. Went to get her check out gun and started scanning still no greeting or bothered to ask if we found everything okay. Struggled to lift a bag due to her long nails and when I went to help she seemed more mad. She had this nasty look on her face the whole time, maybe she shouldnt have shown up to work if she had an attitude.

The women staff there, except for most of the cashiers, are extremely rude, theyll walk in front of you, talk condescendingly to you, like theyre doing you a favor, even the lady with the kids workshop project, had a cow, making my husband and I show IDs just to get a project for our sick child, like what are we going to do with a jewelry box, were here remodeling an apartment.

Went last night, Nov. 30th. Getting ready for Christmas 🎄. Employee Angel went above and beyond in helping me figure out which 🌲 to get. I must have asked him to un-pack about 30 trees. & Wouldnt you know the most perfect tree 🎄 was of course the very last tree Angell un- packed. Also got a wreath. Lol. Delivery staff is very disappointing!!! My 83 yr old Mom waited all day for her new refrigerator. Their excused for not delivering...She wasnt home. Really? Did you even knock on the door??? I should have gone to Lowes or better a local appliance store. Customer services is everything. So great! Went in to buy an outdoor grill, but could not find the model I was looking for that had not already been assembled. I was immediately helped by two guys who were in the grill department area. First they went to find out if they had more of this specific grill. They came back and said it looks like they do, but since they were not on the shelves they literally went and got it off the crate and brought it over to me - all so quickly. It was incredible customer service, honestly one of the best, if not the best, customer service experiences. This is an excellent Home Depot. Those guys were awesome! Thank you!

Parking is becoming an issue, to many Hauling demolition trucks inside the parking, and we as customers have to find a spot because all this guys are inside taking 20 to 25 spaces, more organization is required from the manager here, specially if he or she is allowing them to be here.

Great store theyre very well. Stocked .But some the employees are very disrespectful. The Female. casher in the back of the store is telling customers they should go the front and pay. I said why there only 3 people inline. The other was smart remarks going back-and-forth event. Then a customer jumps in. This was 4/8/2023 at apx 12:15.I spoke to Richard the manager and explained everything what happened.

Surprisingly enough, this particular location had quite a few employees working at the time (around 830pm), and I was able to get assistance as soon as I walked in. They took me straight to what I needed, and then straight to the register, and I was in and out within Id say, a total of about 8 minutes. Not bad......not bad at all Id say. Thanks so much and Ill definitely be back for other stuff!

I have HAD the most AWESOME experience at this Gardena location, every since my first of home repair project! So back on April 12, 2023 I was all over the place, trying to figure out material my Contractors needed, First off I am a female. My name is Linda. So without delay, as Im so excited to write this review. I was on edge, no rude yet nervousas I have never had to go out April 12, 2023 Yet, I get to the service desk, an theres this Lady, there by the name of Melanie, (Mel) she has been the MOST professional person I have ever, came across in any store. Her, patience with me, ECT. She came from behind that counter, an assisted me in not one department yet, a few different departments. I Call her the CREAM of the crop, the pick of the TOP NOTCH employee! At its best. The only drawback to visiting this store is the day laborers have a tendency to park in the red curb zones restricting your view of cross traffic when you try to exit the parking lot. Why Home Depot or Parking Enforcement do not alleviate this hazard is beyond all of us.

The store itself is great. Unfortunately the security company they use is ridiculous. The guards are my bike when I was inside shopping. Then said they couldnt help me and had no idea what I was talking about. Then refused to get the manager. After another home Depot employee paged the manager he showed up quickly. 3 or 4 days later after the cameras were reviewed it showed them stealing my bike.

Plus I’ve only had inconsistent customer service in the past.My company has an account with them so here I go to Home Depot hoping I don’t have to be there forever. I was frazzled because I was told to come in to place an order for will call. I can’t be mad at store policy but I created a whole list online and was hoping to cut down on my time plus the associate.Zack not only imputed all of my requested tools but switched my account over to a pro account so I can send future list. All Home Depots are not as friendly nor knowledgeable helpful. This Home Depot is right on. Explaining to the person with the original apron on about how to rid my home area of flies (flying bugs) personally walked with me to the aisle and handed me a small clear bag and said this will gather the fly and destroy them. For $5.49 I brought 2 bags and Home I went. The product WORKED PERFECTLY IMMEDIATELY over night there was to numerous to count and to my surprise the Flys were still buzzing to get in! The woman named Rosie working at the Carpet section is completely disrespectful. I asked for assistance and I guess she assumed I wasn’t able to speak Spanish but she referred to me as “pinche vejó” which was just insulting considering I wanted assistance for carpets. If this is the type of employees this facility has it severally makes me reconsider shopping here since people are so disrespectful. Home depot is a practical place. I go here often because I need to, and they have good prices, its mostly clean with friendly/helpful staff.They have great selections in anything that you would need for your home. This place is good for quick shopping visits (like when you need batteries) The self check out is very fast and convenient.The restrooms are free and very nice and well kept. There is hardly a wait in the line as the cashiers are efficient and fast. Even if it does get backed up they send reinforcements quickly.The one thing I have against this place is their hardwood selection. Its horrible. For almost everything else construction related I prefer shopping here, but the way they keep their boards is terrible. Its nearly impossible to find a straight, non jacked up piece of Poplar, Maple, or Oak. Some other types of lumber are not very good either, but hardwoods are pretty consistently not good. Prepare to spend a lot of time filtering through splits, bows, bends, tweaks, dents and scratches.

Looking For a home video camera to replace one of mine that has gone bad. Looked online before going. Showed 39 in stock. Went and saw the aisle with the camera listed. Cant seem to find the camera. There was very few of other ones. Looked for stock around the area. Trying to get help for around a half hour, I decided to leave. I found everything that I went there for except for one thing. The most important thing. The most expensive thing. You would think they would make sure they had stock of the high end stuff. Imagine every customer that shop just today and they couldnt buy their most important expensive item. I get my Christmas tree from Home Depot every year. We ordered a Douglas for but end up receiving the incorrect ticket for a tree and because the staff made a mistake we hot $10 off! I called this location in regards to a propane tank swap, not sure who the rep in outside garden was but he assured me that they indeed had ample tanks available, now mind you, the time on the phone as I was in transit was about 10 mins top. This Home Depot is very run down especially the front entry. There can be several dozen day-workers soliciting work at you drive into the parking lot. They are many other trade soliciting demolition parked in their lot. I dont feel safe parking my vehicle in their lot.If you are using their curbside pickup, this Home Depot does not prevent people from parking in these spots. I, unfortunately, was forced to go in-store to pick up my curbside order because all the curbside spots were being used y people not using the curbside service. They were parked. Home Depot needs to patrol these spots and ask people to move.Once you get past the parking lot, the interior of the Home Depot is about the same as most Home Depots.

I was able to find a lot of the things I needed for my home improvement project, which made it easy for me to get everything I need in one trip. This is my favorite home depot. I prefer this location over the Lowes in Hawthorne. This one is always well stocked and staffed by nice professional people. I had an appointment set up for today 6/25 and I did it through an associate at the Home Depot. I have requested that they add details that I am under Escrow and I only have a particular time available/let me know of an available time. Today, on the day of the appointment, the Manager Mike calls up and says he cannot do it and it was all done wrong. I tried to explain him that I do not have access to the property always and that I need to provide a date/time frame, but he was just saying that he needs a whole day. Also, I needed an earlier estimate so that I can order a floor that is not available at their store and if it gets late, I will need to pay a restocking fee of 15%. I explained all these but nothing in favor, so finally cancelled the appointment. I am going to Lowes to get my Flooring done.

I had the best Home Depot experience the other night because of Ron and Alfredos EXCELLENT customer service. I usually hate going to Home Depot because I can easily waste 30 min simply trying to get someone to help me out but no kidding, I was in and out in about 15 min. tops because of these two. They answered all of my questions, made some additional suggestions/recommendations, and were extremely friendly even though it was close to closing time and Im sure they would rather have been cleaning up.

I didnt leave a bad review the first time my wife and I were rudely treated by the person at the paint counter, but after today I will never go to this HD again. I asked for help in power tools and and the worker said he would get someone. I heard him call over the speakers, but after 20 mins, no one came. Then I hear an elderly woman yelling at the 3 workers at the self checkout (3 for self checkout??), who where loudly chatting and laughing. She had requested help in gardening for heavy bags of soil. After waiting over 30 mins, she somehow managed to get 2 into her cart. The worker who call for help for me was one of the 3 workers. He didnt even make sure someone was coming to help me. I left and went to the Compton store, where it is cleaner, organized, and extremely kind and helpful workers who help, even if it is not their area. Go to Compton, the extra travel is well

No one is willing to help. Very hard to find staff and when you do they have an attitude problem. They would just deflect you from aisle to aisle and the usual response is a shoulder shrug and an I dont know, well then find out!.... you are not getting paid to stand there right!!!!Horrible place, no one has any professionalism, they are not interested to help or sell for that matter. I give the custoner service from DIEGO GONZALEZ 5 STARS. He helped us without even asking him. He knew we needed help and he approached us with pleasure. We were looking for blinds in particular and had to be customer made to fit our windows. He gladly helped us order them. I let him know Ive ordered some before from different homedepot location and they failed to give me the right size. The other guy did not want to help really so I figured he didnt care if he put in the right measurements. So upon receiving the blinds, measurements were so off. I returned them and got refunded but never went back to that home depot for such service. I told Diego how scared I was to receive the wrong size blinds again and he reassured me and showed me on the paper. I finally got the blinds and only one issue. One was broken and so returned it and had to reorder. I looked specifically for Diego Gonzalez to reorder because I LOVED HIS SERVICE. He likes his job and helping fellow customers.thats how it should be. That is my go to location when I need something from home depot. And that is the furthest home depot. This Home Depot has a lot of rules on what they can cut & not cut, way more than the other Home Depots & they stick to those rules to the letter. Went to get some keys copied. Staff was helpful and answered all my questions. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Make sure to take advantage of digital backups for your keys. Its all automated and you can do it yourself. But for physical copies, the staff has to do it for you.

They call someone and many of the times it takes 10 plus mins for someone to show up. When they do show up then its great and friendly. This store has the worst CS. I was there last week (7/25) to buy a portable ac. CS desk didnt know what to do. They wanted to brush me off and said they couldnt help me. I asked for a manager and after a long while they order the ac. My only gripe about this Home Depot location is the parking lot. Im not sure why the parking lot is not level with the front of the store? As I was leaving with my load of flooring it basically pulled me down the slope of the parking lot toward the cars. If you plan to buy anything heavy make sure you have help to control your cart.

I find the ones shopping are generally more knowledgeable and more willing to help then the ones that work there. When going through wood stack it back so it doesnt warp and stop putting hardware and fasteners anywhere because it just wastes shoppers time because I dont think they even take inventory let alone clean up and organize. Support your local hardware store youll spend less time going back and forth and less frustration. Local owned hardware stores exist because someone loved hardware and helping you do it yourself. Its worth more than saving a couple cents on junk you have to settle for and poor advice. Good luck

This location, along with the Inglewood one near the 405, are the best in the south bay. Knowledgeable staff thats very helpful in understanding your needs & offering solutions and options. Plus both are kept well-stocked. Nothings worse that having to go to multiple locations for a product. I usually pick one of these stores based on the traffic conditions.

This morning I went to the Gardena Home Depot to purchase a gardening hose to replace one that had sprung a leak. I brought my new hose home, connected it to the spout, screwed on the nozzle, then turned on the water. Water leaked from the nozzle-hose connection. The hose was a bad fit. I explained this to the lady at the exchange counter and she went into an expliantion about the threads being different. I asked if I could make an exchange. She simpley stated no and waited for me to clear out so she could help the next customer. I have traided at the Torrance branch for many years and have always been treated fairly there. The lesson I learned was that not all Home Depot stores have the same policies. Even though there is no other Home Depot in Gardena, there are some great mon and pop stores east of there on Gardena Blvd.

Ubered there.internet extremely unreliable..took over an hour to get wifi to uber home..took over half hr for mgr to talk to me and help me get wifi..had to go outside of store. While there were many named wifis with passwords all thru store in each dept(bandsaw wifi, concrete wifi, etc), he wouldnt use them...it took him 15 minutes outside of store with my phone for him to get internet, and he told me not to leave that spot if I wanted to stay connected to wifi to uber home. I will NEVER shop there again. In fact, I am calling their customer service tomorrow (*Monday) to make a complaint.

The service at the Gardena Home Depot is terrible. My cashier over charged me twice for three different items. When I told her that she rang the items up twice she told that she did not charge me twice. I looked at the reciept and then went back to her. She wanted to know which specific items that she rang up twice and I showed her. Then she told me there was nothing that she could do. I had to go to customer service. She gave me an attitude when I told her she made a mistake and then denied it and then she gave me another attitude when I showed her the mistake. Then she would not help me resolve the issue that she created.

As a general contractor I’ve been to many Home Depot’s and i must say this one here has to have the best customer service! Went to 2 different departments and both departments had an employee on its toes. Thanks HDSecond time coming in purchased a table saw, after putting it together on job site i realized there was a piece missing “rip fence”.. called and spoke with Oscar the assistant manager he asked for me to bring in the table saw and receipt. I explained to him that the table saw was already assembled and asked if i can just pick up what was missing, he replied with “i need the whole unit here with receipt for an even exchange “I am now at back at this Home Depot with table saw and receipt with Oscar in the front door as if he was waiting for me, after introducing myself to why I’m there, he asked for my receipt, hands it to the nearest employee and asked them to fetch my missing piece.... why in the world would you make me go through the trouble of loading up the table saw in my vehicle after i told u it was inconvenient for me to do all that in the first place?Ps. Shopping is good its the uninvited attention that the men give following you around the store as if they need household cleaning items...I mean so obvious until I start following them around and let them know how intrusive it is!

Horrible service in online orders, they send you a message saying your order is ready to pick up but when you get there, surprise nobody knows anything about your order, instead of saving time placing the order online you lose time and money because in this country time is money i will not order in this home depot again.
