Just a shout out to Mark in plumbing. He was helping me, walking down the isle, and we passed a lady who he asked if she needed any help. Nothing big right? Well, in all my times in Home Depot, this is the first where an employee approached a customer, and not vice versa.

Way less people and this is by far the best, most organized Home Depot I been to so far. Since this Home Depot location is literally across the street from my work office, I put in my order for in-store pickup here. I also had to get a bag for my Rigid vacuum so I went inside the store to get my vacuum bag first. There was no one at the self checkout line so I was able to go straight to the register. After I paid for my vacuum bag, I went to the Customer Service area to pick up my order. At first I was confused because they really didnt tape out where you line up. But since they werent busy, someone saw me and help me. There many parking here because its in a plaza so you wont have any issues here. I saw only 3 curbside pickup spots next to the store so I dont know if there more spots.

If i could rate zero i would. My mom bought a washer. Waited at least 2 weeks for it. Her decision was not quick and easy. She wanted to make sure she found the best appliance for her to use. Home depot has a 48 hr time frame for the customer to use the appliance and availability to return the product. My mom didnt use the washer. My mom is 85 and didnt see in the instructions where to put the liquid detergent and liquid fabric softener. This washer does not have the agitator in the middle of the tub. The instructions say to put directly in the tub. Most of us know that doing that will most likely stain and damage your clothes. Bottom line, home depot would not take back the washer even though my mom didnt use it, yes it was beyond the 48 hr time frame. The customer rep i talked to from the 800 number believed the store would take it back, maybe requiring a restocking fee. No customer satisfaction here at the simi store. My mom paid close to $1000 for that appliance just to be stuck with something she doesnt like.

My favorite thing about this Home Depot location is the trees in the parking lot that provide shade for your car. Easy to find a parking space, colorful garden section with shade cloth so the flowers arent burned by our harsh summer sun, choice of several seed company choices on racks.

This Home Depot is one big waste of time, waiting to pick up orders (and paid for) materials from building materials department. But even a day later, it wasnt pulled out!Go to Lows! much faster.Also, damaged material for sale at a full price. see pic

We placed an order for 2 appliances on 1 NOV. We set the delivery date and took the day off work to receive the order. The order was then cancelled suddenly. We lost that day of work. We reordered the order and lost our original shipping date, and couldnt get our 200$ gift card refunded that we used on the order. Days later we find out weve been charged for both orders, and upon talking to customer service, they say we wont be refunded the first order for possibly 3 weeks. So our 5500$ is being held hostage. We have been very patient but something needs to be done about this. We cannot go 3 weeks without this money. And there have been too many errors on Home Depots half for this to be ok. We are very frustrated and disappointed. Given what has occurred we are nervous to purchase large items again. As it seems our money will be held hostage pending any errors.
