Upon visiting the downtown area me and my family chose pizza for lunch and it became a wise decision here at The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe.We each got our own personal 7 pizza, 1 lb. of their signature wings with ranch sauce, and some cold beverages from their big refrigerator selections.Their wings were extremely delicious as well as their pizza. I cannot put into words to describe my overwhelmed taste buds as they exploded with utter joy.From the marinara sauce to the savory pizza crust which I ate the entire pieces, to the tantalizing toppings, you just cannot stop eating everything.The restaurant was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 pm and got packed as we were finishing up our meals. I know why they were so busy during our stay.The restaurant is clean, organized, and has great accommodating service.They have a large menu with tons of deliciousness to choose from.Pizza, pasta, salads, submarine samiches, awesome drinks both refrigerated and fountain + much more.I want to come here again when in town to try some more of their awesome food.They get an all around, up & down 5 stars from me hands down 🍕 🍗 🙌

Good basic pizza restaurant atmosphere.you order at counter and they bring food to you. The menu is too extensive to describe. If you want it on your pizza they have it. I liked the idea of a 7 pizza. Just right for 1. I liked the crust,not too thin,not too thick.Free refills on fountain drinks.excellent sweet potato fries.

Walk in, grab a menu, seat yourself, and order at the counter. They will bring your food to the table. Grab your forks, plates, and napkins next to the fountain machine. Easy peasy. Went here for the first time for lunch. The food was delicious and you get so much food. The toppings on the specialty pizzas are so good and the salad options are also amazing! The pricing is great, and the meal deals are such a good value! Come here instead of getting fast food. You wont be disappointed!

The pastrami and theeatball sub were excellent. Our kids pizza came with slices too large for our toddler, but the kitchen not only cut them smaller, but also put them on a cooler plate (without being asked), allowing her to eat faster.I would 100% recommend this place.

One of our favorite pizza spots in the IE. Service is always great, food is always tasty, the dining area night seem a little small and crowded at times but its a decent space for dt Redlands. The Meal for 2 deal is usually what we get, 12 pizza, 2 soft drinks, and a Classic dinner sized salad to share for 35$ best part is the pizza, BYO with unlimited toppings and oh boy do they have a broad selection of toppings, sauces and cheeses. The crust... Is delicious; Soft yet crispy. Weve always had the mozz sticks and hot wings, but good, and we are making our way trying all of the salads. And as a bonus, they have a good selection of cream sodas in their fountain drinks.

This place has not changed the past 20+ years Ive patroned here. The food here will always be pricier than other pizza places but you pay for the quality and variety provided. The pizzas were good and this time I got the pickle fries and those were very good. I love how they have pre folded pizza boxes so you dont have to wait to inquire about a to-go box, you can just get it and be done with it. Even during the peak summer heat this place is still kept cool and comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and clean.

Pictured are the ranch style fries, which are delicious and recommend. Boneless bbq wings that I would never recommend nor get again. The pizza pictured is the Old Prospector 14. The pizza came out fresh, so fresh that the whole cheese and toppings would fall right off as we grabbed slices. Perhaps to heavy too.

Best go for the early bird special if you plan dining-in. If y’all show up at dinnertime they’ll under-cook your food and start closing-up around you nearly two hours before their posted closing time.Nothing more conducive to a lovely dinning conversation than folks vacuuming while others cage you in with chairs they’re clanging together and flipping over onto the tables.I’d have given it one star but the pizza is good with very adventurous topping and sauce choices. The pizza goes from good to great when it’s fully cooked.

This review is not about the staff, who were friendly, polite and prompt.The pizza is just boring.The dough reminds me of frozen take home pizza. Wife and I been coming here for years. Will not ever be going back. Since change of owners, quality of food and customer service (Vickie) who has been there for a while, has got worse.Waited 1 hour for 7 inch slice of pizza to go for my daughter . 1 hour! This is a down-home local favorite for unique pizza pies. While they offer the tried and true classics, dont be afraid to go a little crazy and get their oddball recipes - you cant go wrong as they somehow work out and end up delicious. We tried the Brando (cream cheese, pesto, sausage, pasta) and the Annie Oakley (ranch, chicken, bacon, pasta), and other interesting toppings for other pizzas include mashed potatoes, fried chicken, refried beans, peanut butter, thousand island dressing, cashews, and many more. Definitely worth a try. Its counter-serve and has slightly odd lighting and decor, so dont expect an upscale environment.

We have been eating at Gourmet Pizza Shoppe for over ten years now. Just recently we noticed the quality is not the same. We ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza on 4/16/23. The crust was almost paper thin, hardly any sauce on it, and it just tasted old. We called and let them know and Scott said he would give us a credit for our next visit. We went today (04/19) and ordered an extra large pepperoni with light cheese. I opened the lid to check it before I left and there was no cheese at all. I showed her the pizza and told her we ordered it with light cheese and that there wasnt any at all. Instead of offering to make a new one, she takes the pizza, puts the cheese on top and puts it in the oven again. The pizza was hard as a rock and burnt after that.

The place is really cute. It’s a bit pricey though. Almost $18 for a 14 inch. Toppings were another $1-2 depending on the size of pizza and if you want to do half and half toppings you need to spend another $2. My bf got a fountain drink for $3. So in total it was $29.

My Fiance and I tried this place for the first time and we both loved it. The decor inside is very cozy. Clean restroom. Very specious with lots of seating, nice and friendly staff and good food. We got the build your own pizza and side of mozzarella sticks. Food was fresh,hot, and tasty. We both look forward to going back again!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is adorable and homey and the employees were fast and friendly. I ordered the Tony Banonni pizza and a 1 lb. order of buffalo chicken wings... pizza was okay, the crust was a little dry and I would have liked if there was a bit more cheese. I loved the fresh toppings and the flavor of the sauce! The chicken wings were kind of overcooked, but very crispy and crunchy and the flavor was pretty good. I appreciate the imaginative selection of toppings and I totally would come here again. I support small business!

Ordered food for delivery, asked for a large vegetarian pizza received a medium cashew and sausage pizza. I called the restaurant to see if the driver could pickup our pizza since we got the wrong order and he rudely told us that we never ordered anything from their restaurant. This pizza place is fowl, they offer way too many pizzas and the pizza’s they offer are disgusting. You should never sell a pizza with cashews or with angel hair pasta. This is a restaurant you would have seen in kitchen nightmares.

We took my son for his 10th bday, we went during the week it was empty, service was ok, we honestly didn’t felt welcomed, The wings were good but the pizza was not, it’s like the cheese was not even melted properly it literally slide off the pizza like completely and pepperoni and ham was not cooked properly it was still fresh!! My kids didn’t like it either. It was our first time coming here and last. It was totally not worth the $100+ we spent there. For being empty we expected better food and service.

They have the best gluten-free pizza here! You can get most of their gourmet pizzas on gluten-free or cauliflower crust, although the cauliflower crust is limited in size. We like the Santa Barbara and the Aloha pizzas. The Santa Barbara comes topped with chicken, ranch sauce, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, cashews, and raisins. Super yummy!! The Aloha has pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, bell peppers, pineapple, and red onions...also very tasty. These are gourmet pizzas, so they are on the pricey side, but the food is very good.Regarding the atmosphere, the service is always friendly here, and it is always clean, but when it gets busy, it can get a little loud, so conversations can be a little challenging. That being said, it is worth the experience.

The worst ravioli I have ever had, and I was very hungry. This is a self-seated restaurant with little staff and still charges $13 for ravioli - which does not include the pitiful salad. With the salad and drink my meal came to around $19 for what looks and tastes like a meal I would get from an Italian McDonalds. I will not be returning.

This is one of our favorite spots. The owners are here daily, there are ENDLESS options for pizzas, (if you are vegan, come here!!!!), and they play great tunes. The atmosphere is very nice here, with little lights strung up to make it feel like your outdoors. You order at the counter, then they bring you your food. There are daily lunch specials, pizzas of the month based on the season, and lots of beverage choices. The staff are very friendly and they have Groupons & a rewards program. When we don’t dine in, we get their Take & Bake pizza and bake it at home, (any of their pizzas can be made as a take & back I believe it’s 10” or larger). They also have monthly coupons in the Redlands magazine, on the back of Albertson’s receipts, and coupons on their website. Go check them out for yourselves! Open at 11 am daily.

For our very first time here we had a super experience! Went to the counter to order and the young man working the counter was very friendly and helpful. Ordered n extra large pepperoni and sausage pizza, a salad and some wings and everything was great! Soon as we got there it started getting really busy so I was glad we beat the crowd. We were in the area and trying to curb a pizza craving. The shop is cute. Outdoor dining and to go orders were available. We ordered to go, placed our order, paid and waited outside.Upon ordering we did ask about the garlic cheese loaf and the garlic cheese flat bread. We were told many people love the loaf. We got a full order and a 14 Prospector specialty pizza.An employee later came outside holding our order calling our name. We picked it up and headed home to eat while it was still warm. The cheese loaf container was opened and immediately my first thought was, what kind of garlic cheese bread is this? But I gave it a shot. It had an unsavory aroma and was hard and very dry. Even dipped into the red sauce the texture was still too hard. No biggy, we still had the main dish full meat pizza to eat. Or so we thought since that is exactly what we had ordered. Unfortunately another disappointment. It was a cheese pizza. The taste wasnt bad, but nothing special. My husband was so disappointed since it was his craving. He looked up the menu and couldnt even find it on the menu. The cheese they did have said it had ricotta and this pizza definitely did not. Pretty much mozzarella, and possibly garlic butter. We gave Dino 🐕 our loaf and ate enough of the pizza to stop the hunger pains.Now my husband did call spoke with someone who in the end was unapologetic and not much help. Without a doubt will never return.

Hey I’m all for inclusive. Great idea. However, waited 15 minutes to use the “All Gender” bathroom. So you have an all gender bathroom and a woman’s bathroom. I ended up going outside and pissing in the alley because I had to wait so long. Keep it simple. Men bathroom, women’s bathroom. Don’t get fancy with it.

This is not a 5 star review due to the crust flavoring and overall pizza flavoring.The unique pizzas make this a place you should try. I would recommend this place.Regarding the service the order taker was pleasant and accomodating. This was our first visit we stood in line then decided to take a seat and look at the menu first. Once dishes were used and we did not want them at the table I was unsure where to put them. A server took them for me.The dessert pizza we ordered was the Painted Turtle . Very very sweet and the crust was difficult to get through.

We found that the food was just ok, nothing exceptional, and overpriced. We came on a Friday afternoon around 3pm and it was nearly empty inside. They do have lunch specials but the pricing is comparable to the regular rates and the portions are small. Considering there was hardly anyone there, the time that it took to get our food was frustrating. The pizza had a weird, thin crust that seemed like it was pre made, definitely not home made. The sandwich was pretty good though, the ingredients fresh. The atmosphere was nice, very large inside and decorated with strung lights, and the music was awesome. If I found myself in the area again, I would probably not choose to eat here.

Pizza is fantastic, the beer is icy cold, wings are perfectly crisp and seasoned, and the salads are always fresh and delicious! The caprese salad is a family favorite to share while we wait for our pizza. The employees are mostly very young, but dont let that deter you, every one of them is super nice, helpful, and delivers great service and food! I wish Id asked her name, but our last visit a super awesome gal with a spider tattoo on her arm helped us and she was just so nice that I regret not asking for the manager to let them know what a great person they have working for them! Hopefully they read their reviews and see it here!

UPDATE: December 3rd. The pizza shop apologized and canceled the transaction via email communication. Ill continue to do business with The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe, but the Redlands Chamber of Commerce needs to fix this situation for all their downtown businesses at Christmas time.I just ordered a 16 prospector pizza online Sat Secember 2nd, and paid $34.28 for it by credit card, but my wife cannot get within 2 miles of their shop to pick it up because of all the streets being blocked off for the Holidays. I tried calling to cancel, but they dont answer the phone, and their number doesnt take messages!WHY WOULD THEY SHUT OFF ANY WAY TO CONTACT THEM, WHEN THE STREETS ARE APPARENTLY BLOCKED OFF EVERY YEAR NEAR CHRISTMAS TIME?RIDICULOUS!

I dont know what the deal is but the atmosphere here always feel off and slightly unpleasant? The food is pretty good. Pizza was under cooked. Dough was raw and falling apart in middle of the pizza. The cardboard was soaking wet and my hand went through the box carrying into the house. They offered store credit on next visit and told they dont know why some pizza is soggy and they use cornmeal on the bottom. This has been my favorite pizza place for years. Never had a problem talking the family into a lunch or dinner here. Ive been to this place quite a few times and taken several people from out of town here. Everyone loves the unique pizzas here and everyone Ive tried has been great. If you arent adventurous with your pizza, they also have standard pizzas (or if you have toddlers like me). They do have other selections beside pizza and the salads I have tried are also good. The line for ordering can get pretty long at times and the way the line forms is not the most efficient... Disappointing. Were always looking for a good pizza place, and will continue looking. The mozzarella sticks and pickle fries were underwhelming and most likely just heated up frozen food. The pizza, All American Burger had an undercooked crust that couldnt hold the load of toppings. Weve had pizzas with similar toppings that were able to hold, but this was just too much. The price definitely does not match the quality.

Love this place, all my kids love this place. I enjoy the Peter Pepperoni pizza. My daughter likes the Kiss pizza. They also have great salads too. I like the Chicken Bacon salad, theyll put the bacon on in whole slices if you ask.

Pizza is good but...very busy, line out the door, one girl taking orders. You get your drinks when you order, by the time your food is ready you have finished your drink. If you want another beer or glass of wine, youre told you have to get in line again. Not worth the wait.

Easily the weirdest and worst pizza Ive had since moving to California from Philadelphia. The crust tastes like a pizza flavored cookie and the sauce is overly sweet. I love the soda selection inside, but as hungry as I was for lunch I only got through half of my 7 pizza.

Perfect pizza place in Redlands. Its family oriented and they have a variety of pizza to pick from. They also have a vegetarian section for those who prefer their pizza meatless. The menu consist of family combos to individual pizzas. There is also a good size menu of salads to pick from as well as delicious appetizers. A great place to go for a laid back date night.

My wife and I moved to SoCal from Missouri, and my wife has always said that California pizza is bad, until today. The pizza is very good and you will find drinks that dont generally get out of the Midwest. If you are in Redlands I highly recommend you try The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe.

Very horrible first impression! I went in to pick up food noticed a young girl behind the counter talking how she skipped class then telling the other girl by the way theres a customer and Im not clocked in honestly this girl still works for this company and what an embarrassment totally lazy and cant even acknowledge or say hello we will be right with you? If the old guy cooking is the manager or owner thats a shame this is how he allows his workers to talk and act right in front of the store front. Needs more prideful workers

I like the pizza here, LOTS of options. Really, you can put anything on your pizza here, as long as they have the ingredient in the shop. The inside could use a little fixing up, to be honest. Some serious water damage spots on the ceilings and things like that could be repaired to give it a better atmosphere. This is a sit down restaurant but once you get your pizza dont expect the server to come check on anything. Youll have to flag a staff memeber down to get anything fixed or redone. I recommend going, if only to try the pizza.

I love this place!! Each time I come here, I have encountered nothing but kindness and fantastic food. I got the non-dairy cheese last time and I was nervous that it was going to be like most places and not be great, but I was so wrong! About to be honest it has kind of a resemblance of Pizza Hut as far as the flavor, is interesting with little bit of a Twist and the pizza is sometimes doughy which Ive noticed. They have a good Groupon right now which is awesome and they also have a really cool deal for you need a picture of any beer as well as one large pizza 4:30 bucks! The wings are pretty good. The desserts are pretty cool because they have fun with their dessert purchases and I do appreciate that. The ladies behind the counter are always well-mannered and the people that work there! Definitely stoked that Groupon hi this deal so we got to discover it.

I hate to be that guy, but me and my fiance are repeatedly unimpressed by this place. For the prices, you receive decent portions. However, their attempts to create new pizza combinations leave us searching for a normal pizza.The garlic bread that we received was incredibly dry and stale. And the pizzas that we have ordered over the years have not been up to par with other restaurants in the area.

I ordered last night. Found at least 5 short black hairs baked into my pizza, underneath the toppings. I am disgusted, I thought it was just one piece, but upon inspection the other slices also had hair baked into them. I have long blonde hair, so it’s certainly not mine. Great first impression and Im sure it only gets better with more visits. Today was my first time and I came via Groupon which allowed me to purchase 4 different pizzas at a very good price. Each was very different and all were great! Everyone in the family agreed, they were made with tasty ingredients, a pie crust that was perfect and not just a thick slab of bread dough or too thin like a cracker, delicious sauce and plenty of toppings.The menu had 4 or 5 pages of various pizzas to chose from and we were told we always had the option to order anything anyway we wanted. Dinning is laid back. Walk in, grab a seat, utensils, a menu then order when youve decided. No phoney TGIF in your face hurry up bs. Very pleasant dinning. Lots of beer, soda and wine selection at very reasonable prices.Im going back. An easy 5 star experience.

Loved the latout of this place and the style of serving they do here. Pizza choices were absolutely awesome, they offer so many different choices you almost want to sit thete and order 10 personal pizzas just to try some! The Gourmet Pizza Shoppe is a local owned pizza shop that doesnt exceed any expectations. The food is good enough to enjoy but the restaurant is very dull, unsanitary, and dirty. If you look at the ceiling, dust is piling up and the whole restaurant seems to be falling apart. Also, I hope none of the dust from the air vents fell on top of my food.Additionally, the floors were trashy with lots of napkins and food pieces. The bathroom is unkept and the seats do not have any cushion. I might just order to go or for delivery because I did not like the restaurant environment. The servers are friendly though.

I love a pizza place that finds unusual toppings and combinations to use. This place takes pride in getting bizarre. On a pizza? they say. I just finished one of my favorites, called Grannys House. Check out these toppings... Country Gravy, New Potatos, Sausage, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Jack & Cheddar cheese. This is right in the middle of downtown, so pairing it up with some other activity is a cinch.

Great tasting pizza, I had their lunch special which comes with a 2 topping personal pizza and a side salad. Adding a soda, lunch was $10, not bad. And they give Esri employees 15% discount so that was a nice surprise.
