In February 2024, we contacted several agents and ultimately selected Goolsby Group to help us purchase a home in Rocklin. Geoff helped us successfully purchase the home despite some stiff competition. We then asked Geoff to sell our Roseville house. He found a buyer through his contactsthat offered a very competitive price, which we accepted. This avoided the added time and expenses of putting the house on the market, staging it, and delaying the closing date.We feel very fortunate to have found Geoff. There were no issues with either transaction, he offered very sound advice, communicated well, has numerous contacts/professionals to help with minor house repairs, and is very friendly. This is the third house we have sold, and Geoff is by far and away the bestagent we have used. We are really thankful for the quality of service he provided.

We absolutely loved working with Geoff Goolsby and the whole Goolsby Group throughout the entire process of selling and buying our new home! The Goolsby Group marketing campaign included a video, 3D mapping and photos that went above and beyond and showcased our home in the most beautiful way. Lauras friendly demeanor was always appreciated and she ran a stellar open house for us. Geoff Goolsby was great from start to finish! He originally met us at our house to discuss the process and to find out what our short and long term goals were. He offered lots of feedback and really walked us through our options. We could tell by that first conversation that he was genuinely interested in helping us make a good decision for our family. Geoff and his team made our 1st time home buying experience unbelievably easy. He was patient when we told him the first time he called that we might not be ready right away. He introduced us to Drew who we also love, to help us get started on financing. Laura was the best in all the homes we wanted to see on short noticed and during the pandemic. I cant speak more highly about my experience working with Geoff and Laura from the Goolsby Group. Working with Geoff and his team has been exceptional. They are pros at marketing your home from bringing in an interior decorator for ideas, professional photography and marketing in multiple arenas. Within 4 days, I had six offers over list price and with Geoff’s great ideas and advice, I received a sweet deal with no issues through closing.With cash in the bank, I was ready to find my next home in the community I wanted. Wow! Best home buying experience ever! Geoff was a recommendation from a friend and he lived up to the rec and beyond. We got into town and contacted him and were seeing houses the next day. Geoff set up all the appointments and was willing to show us more houses the following day so we could get a quick view of what was on the market and not miss out on anything. Geoff was super patient as we viewed houses and gave his honest opinion about certain houses we were unsure of. We were about to put in an offer on a home when a new one popped up on the market hours before. We drove by and they were having a soft open house with a planned open house the following weekend. Geoff worked his magic in talking with the other realtor, coaching us on a fair offer price, and we were able to submit an offer and have it accepted within a day. We had one speed bump with the appraisal but Geoff handled it very professionally and helped us develop a counter offer that was fair for both parties. We are set to close mid January. Overall, the Goolsby Group was professional, efficient, thorough, and a pleasure to work with!

This is one of the hardest reviews we have ever done. How does one describe an unbelievably awesome experience especially when it comes to the stressful situation of selling ones’ home?My husband and I first met Geoff Goolsby at an Open House that we attended in our neighborhood. We were struck by Geoff’s personality and found it to be friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After leaving the Open House we left thinking if we ever had to sell our home (which we had no intention of ever doing) we would want Geoff to be our realtor. Life is full of surprises because the following year we decided to do just that. Sell our home! Needless to say, we reached out to Geoff and got the ball rolling.Geoff was very hands-on and had a good eye for detail and knew what helps sell a home and what does not. He got us in touch with a stager, Heidi, who was very helpful with tips on how to get our home ready to list and sell. Geoff also had a very good office assistant, Laura, who was phenomenal in answering our many questions and concerns. With Geoff’s gentle prodding and Laura’s assurances we were able to get our home prepared for the gorgeous video and pictures they had professionally taken. The video was literally mind-blowing and the pictures were outstanding. The result was a stunning display of our home! We were relocating from SoCal and Geoff and his team were recommended by our selling agent. From the first meeting we knew Geoff was on the ball with his knowledge in real estate as well as navigating us in learning more about the Rocklin/Roseville area. I met Geoff and Laura at an open house in my neighborhood. We weren’t quite ready to buy, we had been renting and had almost a year left on our lease. I did explain to them that day that I was “just looking”, getting ideas,etc. Fast forward 10 mos. and Laura calledfor a simple check in, clearly they had heard me that day and her timing was impeccable. Laura was very sweet on the phone, she wasn’t pushy at all, her demeanor and professionalism combined with the perfect timing resulted in a meeting with them to go over our wants and needs. We found a home pretty quickly and got in to contract just days before the pandemic shelter in place took effect.... buying a home is stressful enough and then throw Covid-19 in to the mix... emotions and anxieties were running at all time highs! THE WHOLE TEAM WAS AMAZING!! Katie, was the one behind the scenes making sure the whole process was smooth for us. She was our Rosetta Stone translating the language of real estate to us in a way we could understand. Laura, was very accommodating to our needs and dropped everything for us on so many occasions and each time did it with a smile. She was always warm to family and my kids absolutely loved her!! She is a great human being a great example of professionalism and grace. ...and Geoff, was in my corner from day 1, and got the worst (or best) of my frustration at times. I loved the way he led, and I loved the energy he brought. Geoff fought just as hard as I did to make sure the process of selling and buying a home was easy and even introduced new techniques and best practices to get my home to sell faster (which it did! 3 days!). I loved all of them. If there was some kind of real estate award ceremony... maybe something called The Home-ies, all of them would win the trophies.

I would 100% recommend, and I am beyond happy with Geoff Goolsby, and the whole Goolsby Group.Our family had no solid plans to move, but would often talk about how we wanted a bigger place, in a little different neighborhood. I despised the thought of moving, as we have lived 17 years in our home, and did not want to think about packing, signing, etc. One day out of the blue Geoff called us, saying he had recently sold a house in our neighborhood and wondered if we had any interest in selling. He said he had people that may be interested in ours if we were in the market to sell.We sat on it for a while, and about a month later, I stopped by an open house he was putting on in the neighborhood, and scheduled a meeting with him. We met later that week at my home, where he told me that there was a high interest in homes in my area, and talked about an elaborate database of people who he would reach out to who have should general interest in moving in to a house like ours. Honestly, I thought, “this is BS, he’s just trying to get me to sign on with him.” I am a very skeptical guy, so I told him that I will probably never trust him, and that he was going to have to show me he’s for real. I’ll get to it later, but he earned my total trust as he guided us through this very confusing and difficult process.He showed me what he was talking about, and discussed his ideas he had for selling my house, and the purchasing of a new home. Since we weren’t not fully ready to move, we decided to prep our house for sale, by staging it, making a website for it, and promoting it before putting on the market. Once we found our home we wanted to buy, we would go on market if there wasn’t a buyer lined up. He called it “Love it, then List it.” Things moved quickly, as Geoff found our dream home that we knew we had to have. We had a professional stager come by, and direct us on what to do to sell our home, and then shortly after we had house staged a professional photographer did photos of the home, that were pretty amazing. The photographer later shot video footage which included drone footage, etc. It made our home look even more amazing, as he highlighted all the amazing thing we had upgraded over the years. It was amazing.Within probably hours ( for real, it had to be less than a half of a day) of the website being created Geoff said he had someone that wanted to look at the home. Ultimately the first person that Geoff found ended up buying our home at higher than what we were asking. Geoff and his team were proving to be the real deal. He marketed out home better than I could ever imagine any one else could have, and we never had to worry about open houses, hoards of people coming by… none of that. All the things that pushed me a way from moving, we didn’t even have to deal with as he found a buyer in the first few hours.As soon as we had found home we wanted to buy, somehow Geoff arranged for us to be the first ones to see it. It went on the market one evening, and we were looking at the home the next morning. It was truly our dream home, and we know it was the one. No doubt in our mind. Geoff met with the listing agent and the seller that day and presented an offer. The seller wasn’t ready to accept right then, so Geoff met with the seller and the agent again the next day (might have been 2 days later) and presented the offer again. It was accepted, and thus began the process to ultimately move in to our dream home.The escrow part was something I had been regretting, but honestly it went really smoothly. Everything except the final signing is docusigned, so that was super easy. We only had to come in at the very end to sign the closing docs. It was simple.One thing that was great about Geoff is he has great contacts. The house we sold needed dry rot work, and he called and arranged it, same with the roofers.Great guy, great group, great presence in the community.
