I had a great experience with the help of Penelope. She was very knowledgeable of the products. I didn’t feel like I was being pressured to buy anything. I have arthritis in my ankle due to a broken ankle with 2 surgeries. I’ve been in pain for over a year. I’ve stopped wearing regular shoes. I’m happy I didn’t buy orthopedic shoes. I did buy 2 Brooks tennis shoes, 3 of the main shoe inserts, 1 sleeve for my ankle, a knee brace. Which I love for the knee brace and ankle sleeve they measure my ankle and knee to make sure I got the right one that would fit me. I also got an everyday compression sock. It is a little pricey but when you’re in my situation to where it hurts to walk for just 10 minutes, constant pain in the ankle, knee and back. I’ve been desperate for something to help with the pain. I have no pain with these inserts and compression socks. Each insert does something different for the foot.You have to invest in yourself. Thank you again Penelope and the other guy that works there too. He was helping in the background as well.

June is extremely helpful. I went back to the store because I was having difficulty changing the cushions in my shoes to accommodate my supports. While there she double checked my supports and recommended adjustments. The customer service is top notch!!

I have a sore knee and hip as well as issues with the bottom of both of my feet hurting. As soon as I tried out the inserts at the store I had instant relief and I could walk without my feet hurting. I have had my inserts for less than a week and I’ve used them everyday, I haven’t had any knee or hip pain since I started using them. I can walk farther and not have to stop as often. I would recommend anyone to go and just try them and see for themselves.

I have had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for some time, which was initially solved by throwing out all my flat shoes with no support. Then the pain came creeping back when I put on a little bit of weight. I decided to check out The Good Feet Store in good faith. Penelope helped me out and she did a wonderful job from start to finish. In fact, Ive never spent so much time in a shoe store before with one-on-one attention. Even Nordstrom doesnt even spend that much time on their customers looking at shoes. I learned about their three levels of shoe inserts (plus a bonus one if one is interested) and felt the difference immediately after trying all the inserts. The store mainly has Brooks brand shoes. I used to shop at runners shoe stores, so Im familiar with the brand and I can attest how comfortable they are.The inserts are not cheap, not gonna lie. I financed them through a third party and a portion was covered through my health spending account.Ive tested the maintainers inserts (the second one, black colored) at the gym as so far so good. I am going to keep testing them out during workouts and Im hoping the new spinning class place in Torrance will help me lower my weight a little bit and thus mitigate plantar fasciitis pain.Everyone in the store is very friendly and pleasant. Penelope was very hospitable and I would love to come back when I need to.

Had an aptmt at 11…. Got there at 1045… waited til about 11 and was told that a person call out…. And the one person there was attending 2 people who came in together…. So I waited 15 more min. Then I got tired of waiting and was told it would be about 15 more min. So I walked over to DSW … came back at 1130 and waited til 1145… then I decided to leave… all I got was a “bye sweetie”Wasted a good Sunday morning for nothing! They could have called me at 10 am and switched my aptmt… I was ready to buy the 1500 package but I’ll go to my foot doctor instead.. I’m sure they will honor my aptmt and charge a fraction of the price for custom orthotics

Penelope was lovely and attentive. The inserts cost more than I was expecting. Unfortunately I had back pain beginning. Wearing the inserts seemed to exasperate the pain, so I stopped. Another issue I had is the changing from on insert to another. TMI for me. Remembering how long and which insert to use seemed too much for my 70 year old brain. I won’t be starting again until the back pain abates so have no other info for you.

The store was recommended by a friend who was having foot problems and since I was having problems I decided to go. Staff was helpful but I felt like I was given the hard sell. A sum of $1,000 + was given which I was not expecting. I stated I was retired but that didn’t seem to affect person who was helping me. Instead of telling me the price of each arch support I was given 4 supports and explained how they would help. I still walked out with a hefty charge and didn’t feel good about it. May feel better about the purchase after using the product but the experience gave me a very negative feeling. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

The store isnt what it seems at first sight. This place is basically one giant sales pitch on 1 specific product. Their arch supports. Which are insanely expensive. Thats all they sell. Whatever your issue is with your feet they will basically recommend the same cure without fail. Their arch supports. Whats unfortunate is how they lure you into believing that youre getting treated specifically for your issue in particular. Youre basically walking into a trap cleverly camouflaged as a clinic. If you have hundreds of dollars ready to spend then give them a try. Otherwise dont even bother making the drive. I regret spending what I spent in this place if Im completely honest. I dont think it was worth it.

Soooo…I tend to take my elderly parents shopping with me to get them out of the house. I called my mom and suggested that she come with me to replace my shoes. My mother recommended The Good Feet store because she knew about my knee problems. I was hesitant because I read the variety of reviews and I wasn’t looking to spend a ton of money. I just needed some good tennis shoes. I was open to orthotic shoes though. I had not gotten as far as to think of just orthotics. So, I called the store and Penelope answered. Penelope was the beginning of a phenomenal experience. She was patient with me over the phone and answered all my questions (and I had a lot!). I knew upfront how much their main product would cost, but I also knew they had some quality sneakers. So, I figured it was worth a shot. Penelope walked me through the product and was consistently careful to ask about my needs and limitations. She was honest about the orthotics information she knew and the medical information that might be better checked with a doctor. She gave me suggestions, but also acknowledged when certain solutions might not work for everyone. I ultimately ended up really liking the product, but since I hadn’t planned on getting it at that exact moment, I communicated that I would wait for a bit and check in with her. I instead ended up taking one of the many pairs of shoes that she helped me with in order to get the right pain-free fit. I also bought the Good Feet insoles to start with in the meantime. I even grabbed some Wide socks that my elderly father could use.The result: I love my sneakers and my feet don’t hurt anymore (my old ones were too small). My knee (torn meniscus) feels more supported. My dad even wants to go back and try the whole process to see if it might help him with his hip/back pain and gait. He lovessss the socks because they don’t cut off his circulation. He raved about how they actually have quality socks because they are designed the old school way where the left sock is specifically shaped for the left foot and the right sock for the right foot(so your toes aren’t squished like they are with the socks that are indistinguishable in socks packs).Why did I buy instead of just going over to Nike? Penelope was the 5-star of customer/client specialists. She presented the product, but never once did she pressure me. She let the product speak for itself…and the Good Feet product does. It makes sense that it might not work for everyone. You have to do what’s best for you and you might have a medical issue that isn’t compatible with the product. I think what was important for me though was that it felt safe enough to go there and try the product without getting trapped in a sales pitch. Penelope stayed aware of our timeframe (I had to get back to my dad) and when, instead, we decided to take longer to make the decisions, Penelope adjusted to our needs in that way too. She was forthright, professional, and responsive. It is obvious that there is a sales structure, so I think what made the experience worthwhile was that, in addition to the product being a potential solution for my feet, Penelope understood us at the human level. I felt like I was talking to THE store manager. So, now the Good Feet has a lifelong customer…no matter when I decide to try the orthotics, I will be going there for shoes, insoles, dad’s socks, etc…as long as Penelope is working there…I can get the items I need hassle free.(She should honestly be the one training the other reps.) Whether we buy that very second or not, the customer’s experience should always be stellar and we should always be able to recommend that the store is worth a try (or worth a conversation with your podiatrist or orthopedic specialist). I can say that it is definitely worth a try.

Definitely a stop, I work healthcare on my feet all day. The customer service by Jose was awesome, he listened to me and knew how to get rid of my foot pain that was causing me to limp. Jose helped me pick out socks, inserts, and recommended shoes. Immediately wearing the inserts My back adjusted and my knees felt better. It’s a hidden gem that provides immediate relief!

The Good Feet work, I had a pair before my visit. I came in to purchase a new pair because I had lost my old pair. My feet were measured and I received a lot of information. However, if you buy your good feet from a cruise liner you will have to call the cruise liner number instead. You can’t walk into the good foot store and replace them there. That kind of sucked as we were not aware and the lady who informed us although she was just doing her job was kind of rude about it to my husband.

My first visit was 3 years ago to the Torrance location when I had a bad hip. The orthotics helped some but my hip was too far gone. I ended up getting it replaced not long after that. Now my other hip is starting to bother me. I remembered when I bought the orthotics the sales rep said they had a Life Time warranty. So I decided to test that out. I took my old ones back to exchange for new ones based on my current issue. The sales rep Cheyennet took impressions of my feet. She gave me a more thorough explanation of how the orthotics work than the rep 3 years ago. I ended exchanging 2 and buying a third to have the whole set. The rep and her manager Dominique were extremely helpful. My hip isnt bothering me now. It was a pricey investment but I dont see a need for another hip replacement anytime soon. I also have received 2 follow up calls since my visit. Great customer service.

Went to the Torrance store spoke with Dominic and had the most professional experience one could ever ask for the experience was extremely educational, I learned things about my feet that I never knew, after purchasing my new inserts, wore them for about 5 hours before going to sleep for the night, and the hip pain that I suffer from every night had stopped, not a sign of the pain and I was able to sleep the whole night without tossing and turning. This product is the real deal! Was so pleased that I returned with my girlfriend to purchase her some inserts to! Great store great customer service and great product!

I could barely walk when I went in and after getting evaluated and set up with orthotics, I could walk out. So that part is great. Getting someone on the phone to set up a follow-up - not so great as I have YET to get anyone on the phone. Their number goes to an outgoing message with no way to leave a message. So Ill have to DRIVE to the store so that I can set up an appointment to go back to have a readjustment. The most important commodity in my life is TIME and having to drive there to get an appointment WASTES MY TIME. I just dont understand why businesses make it SO DIFFICULT to DO business with them!

My feet was is bad shape. I use to climb out of the bed and hate for them to hit the floor because I knew there was nothing I could do to make them feel better. I was cranky and mean and short temper because they hurt so bad. I couldn’t even bare to stand on my left foot at all until I discover the foot doctor. Def worth it. I had 2 sets of custom inserts made by 2 different podiatrists for my flat feet and I was dismal. I tried the Goodfeet Store after seeing a commercial on TV in 1999 and I have been using the same set since then. They were a game changer for a flat-foot like me. I went back for a new set 10 years ago and was told that my inserts would last me a lifetime. I wear them every single day. Yes they were expensive but they work.They were however less expansive than the podiatrist inserts.

First off, I think the product is worth the investment, if you can afford it, but at 800 + tax for the whole set puts this way out of the everyday persons reach. Thats just about as good as it gets for this review. I went into the store on a recommendation this past Saturday. Apparently the gentleman that was there was the District Manager, according to Meri.After Meri assisted me, along with her DM, is when she told me about the price. I knew immediately that I could not currently afford this, even with the credit line they offer. They both offered what they call a hugger. Same concept,but not near the quality of the original product, for 100 dollars. They both said I could come back within 6 months and purchase a set and the 100 that was paid for the huggers would go towards the 300 dollar shoe inserts. I thought about it and decided to purchase thinking I could sit on this decision for a couple of nights. I paid with my own credit card, without a signature being required and left. A No Return Policy was NEVER mentioned throughout the whole process.Once I decided, I went back to return it, yesterday, Tuesday May 28 th. There was an older caucasian couple waiting before me to return their purchase as well. Meri helped them. She returned the product without ANY hesitation. Apparently they tried to return it at an earlier date but were given the run around by another associate. When Meri came to help me she started off by saying that I cant return it even if its not used. The very first mention of a No Return Policy in two visits.I pointed out that neither she nor the DM ever mentioned it, but of course she claimed they did. I point out the lack of signage stating said policy (I took pictures)AND the fact that she just refunded the couples purchase. Meri then goes on to say that she isnt authorized to do any refunds. I told her that if she or the DM had mentioned that policy, I would have just walked out without purchasing it. She then says its on the reciept. I told her that doesnt help when its on a reciept AFTER the purchase. Next, Meri says she has to call corporate to authorize a return. She goes to the back room and leaves the door open. There is a mirror next to the door, given the right angle, that will allow you to see what is happening in the back.As Im looking back there through the mirror, Meri sits at the computer against the back wall and never picks up a phone. She comes out a few minutes later saying she left a message and she is waiting on a call back. I give it a few minutes. During that time, I go online at look up the corporate number and business reviews on the BBB website. The BBB website shows this is not a unique incident to The Good Feet, but a horribly unethical sales practice. Once I found the corporate information, I ask Meri if the information is online. She states she isnt sure but that its located in Carlsbad CA. Thats what is online.Its important to note that the attempt to return started after 5pm. The offices Meri contacted close at 5pm. How can she expect a call back after 5 if they are closed? I asked Meri if she was going to come back to me later and say they didnt call back so she cant do the refund and have me come back seeing that corporate was already closed. Not only that but she DID NOT call AND her co-worker asking her if she was going to call or not after claiming to me she already did. Meri goes back to the room, comes out a couple minutes later and issues a refund. I have the whole incident recorded if it ever tries to be disputed.I wonder if all this hassle is because of my racial appearance? Both Meri and the couple before me appeared to be caucasian and my appearance is of Mexican descent, which I am. She saw dollars signs when I walked in the first time but her discrimination/racism definitely came through loud and clear in our second encounter. And to think I was prepared to make the purchase when my finances were fixed.

I have spent so much money and tried so many orthotics, different shoes and different shoe sizes all of which did not alleviate my foot pain. I used to be in pain every time I got up from bed or from sitting.The Good Feet arch support system appears to making a difference. I am doing my morning walks and I am not in pain. I have more energy and drive to stay active because I am not in pain. What a difference to feeling pain free.

For about 12 years, I suffered from plantar fasciitis and nothing was able to relieve the pain from the bottom of my right foot, Not to mention the pain on my lower back, which was caused by my plantar fasciitis, This pain even got to the point of disabling me as I could not walk on my own so my poor wife had to take me to the restroom and do everything for me as I could not walk anymore,I also used custom made orthotics, but they only aggravated my pain. i spent thousands of dollars on shoes year after year, but I found no relief to my lower back and right foot problems. until, i finally saw the GOOD FEET STORE commercial on TV and skeptically decided to check it out and boy! Ill never regret making that decision. The inserts, I got were uncomfortable at first, but after a couple of weeks both my feet and my back became normal again. I have no more foot pain and no more lower back pain. i can run and I can jump. My life has changed 180 degrees thanks to the wonderful inserts Also, thanks to Kathy, my Good Feet sales Rep.
