Event Helper was recommended to us by our Day of Wedding Coordinator. We were able to add event insurance for our wedding weekend and we were also able to add cancellation insurance just in case of any emergencies. When filling out the form I forgot to add the restaurant for our Meet & Greet dinner. Since I had already listed that evening as part of the insurance, I emailed Event Helper to add the restaurant location to the insurance certificate. Melissa Rhoden responded to my email in 3 minutes and sent a new certificate with the restaurant location. She made it incredibly easy for me. Very much appreciated!

This is our second time getting event insurance from The Event Helper. This time, just like the last, was easy, smooth, and effortless. The entire process was extremely customer friendly. I had to call into the company for a slight issue that I wasn’t understanding. I got a live agent in about 20 seconds. He was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. He referenced my last show, which gave me confidence in this company’s ability to keep up with accountability. It also helped me to feel comfortable that I was NOT conversing with a scam artist. When my clients need to get event insurance I ALWAYS send them to The Event Helper. Their process is easy, their rates are reasonable for your peace of mind, and their customer service is prompt and friendly. Anytime I needed help I would be able to get a response within 30-40 mins TOPS!... but its usually its more like 15-20 mins. Fortunately I havent had to file a claim or hadclients who needed to file, so I cant speak on that. But Im assuming that it would be the same type of service I receive on the front end.

I had the pleasure of working with Alan Yee, of The Event Helper. The nature of my business requires assistance. Because one of my assistants had an unexpected family conflict, I had to defer to a different assistant. This all had to be done within two days, otherwise I would have been obligated to pay the insurance for both, even though only one would be working. To say the least, I was in a bit of a panic. The only thing I am concerned about, is the Certificate holder is listed as the Park in which the event is being held. Should the Certificate Holder be the City of Edmonds instead of Bracketts Landing North Park, Edmonds, WA? Well see if it is accepted. It looks like it would be easy enough to change.

I saved a policy and quote my client, 2 days later the price had changed. When I called to inquire the rep was not helpful at all. I had to try and decipher their terminology and still he could not explain why the price had changed. The website is not user friendly, needs updating.
