The Donut Man915 E Rte 66, Glendora, CA 91741I saw the review of this place on tiktok by a social media person and I had to come to this location when I came to LA. You just put it on your Google maps and remind you this is a place you want to visit and its worth the hype people. Obviously a lot of people are coming from out of town here because, while I was there multiple cars kept pulling up. A big 🅿️🚨 note it has its own parking lot its to the left side and the rear of the building. The right parking lot is for another building thats a gym. So please make sure you park in the right place or on the street. Now to these delicious donuts 🍩 😋 and so many beautiful selections. To be honest the pictures do not even do them much justice. Please come here with your blood sugar low and an empty stomach and leave satisfied 🤤🥴. The only thing that I would say about this whole experience I wish I could have got them fresh while they were still warm♨️. Other than that Im pretty sure that vast majority of people are not disappointed making the trip 🛵🏍️🚙🚗🛻🚐🚚🚛🚜🏎️🚒🚑🚓🚕🛺🚌🚂🛴🦽🦼🚲 to this location. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩

They really are open 24 hours! I stopped by at 3:15am on my way home. I planned on getting the famous strawberry filled donut but decided on the apple. It’s so good, like apple pie in a donut. The donut tasted so fresh! I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Seen posts of their famous Strawberry Donuts and had to try them since was staying closeby to Glendora. Headed up early in the morning on a weekday since wasnt sure if they would sell out.Located on historic route 66 in Glendora, the spot was easy to find. Ample parking in back, line up and pick out what you want. Cool mural also in the parking lot for a picture too.Strawberry donuts were worth the drive up, found out later on that they have another store in DTLA, at Grand Central Market also🤙🤙5 stars.

Even at 1130pm there is a lineup. And for good reason....delicious donuts! Slow service because none of the donuts have names on them so people ask a lot of questions. Helpful staff but not enough of them so be prepared to wait. The signature strawberry donuts was over $6 and was something worth trying once. I thought the other donuts were better.

So I had been hearing about The donut Man for quite a while. And Ive had some pretty darn good donuts in my day. I will say this, the hype was spot on! Their donuts were fresh and delicious. There was a large assortment of fancy and customary. And none of them disappointed. From tiger tails do pineapple filled and everything in between. I had this blueberry cream cheese donut that was incredible! We got a half a dozen which was about $17 but worth every penny. Its unfortunate there is no inside seating. But, where they are lacking in ambiance they make up for in taste and service.

I came here on Saturday late morning and there was a long line at the store. This donut store is so popular on the internet so I had to take a try. I ordered Tiger tail and Fresh strawberry filled donuts (the strawberry option is seasonal). I like the donuts itself - light and fluffy. The strawberry was not overly sweet as it looked, which is great. As a tourist, I think it is worth trying.The store is small but looks nice outside. They have their own parking lot. They also have benches to sit while waiting or you just want to sit there to have a quick bite and go.

Absolutely the best donuts. Best ones are Strawberry, Bavarian crème, Cheese Cream and Lemon Crème.Take-away only. Eat them right there if you can (in your car or parking area. They’ll get a wee-bit soggy if you keep them for more than 20 minutes.There’s a queue almost any time of day and be prepared for 30-40 minutes wait in evenings.Parking is free but limited.

We bought a dozen donuts. I bought the usual suspects. I thought the chocolate chocolate was good and the glazed and crumble as well. They were all above average. The tiger tail was also very tasty. I was disappointed with the glazed and chocolate old fashioned which is too bad because that is my favorite type of donut. Did not care for the taste of the old fashions. I threw them away. I believe the donuts overall were good. Not sure what was up with the old fashioned donuts. Maybe just an off day.

These are possibly the best donuts I’ve had in my life. The peach donut is heaven. The fresh slices of peach and the soft pillow of the donut was a perfect balance. We gathered an assortment of donuts and every single one was amazing.They take cash and card. The parking lot is small, the line area is too. However definitely worth waiting in line for these even if you have to park and walk.

The donut itself deserves 5 stars; however, a reduced score because of the product & service received and cleanliness.They accept major credit cards and digital wallet such as Google pay. An ATM is next to the entrance. Plenty of parking in the rear >>one-way entrance and exit, and the exit seems a little difficult for me, so I parked on the street. Store is very easy to see from either direction of route 66.It was shortly after 8 a.m. One server. There were 4-5 people before me and it took about 30mins until my turn~~fine for me this time, because its my first time visiting and I can use the time, but way too long for regular. The little condiment table and its surrounding area are full of trash and sugar, etc.The server gave me a smaller and distorted tiger tail even though I told him this is my first time visiting. My guess is hes trying to fit it into the box, but Im actually bringing my order to my grandma and an auntie visiting from out of town, so Im not very happy that I got a smaller product with really bad looking.Donuts taste really good though.I guess they must have too many visitors they dont really care about retaining new customers. I was told their strawberry donut is the best, but maybe its a seasonal item? I recommend the tiger tail (basically a chocolate twist) based on this visit. Price is fair considering...the chocolate cake donut is recommended by a local frequent buyer, and I approve of its taste; just wish it was the same size as their regular donut!

I haven’t been to this location in a very long time. And I’m glad to say, I am not disappointed. They still have a large of assortment of donuts. But everyone comes here for the fruit filled donuts. Their specialty is the strawberry donuts, very delicious and worth every penny. These are usually seasonal, and include other flavors like peach, and other berries. The wait here is always short and they are very fast. Parking is plentiful and there’s also street parking. Prices are cheap compared to other donut shops, and the donuts are pretty big.

Heard about this place being a popular route 66 stop so I decided to try it out. They are open 24 hours which is nice. There was no seating though so its really just to go. I got the famous strawberry donut and a maple donut. I thought my maple donut was really just average. Not bad but not great. But the strawberry one was really good. I found a hair on mine but I felt okay picking it off the top though obviously it would be preffered to not have that. To me aside from the strawberry donut its not much different than yum yum and they have seating.

I used to live in Glendora for 3 years and The Donut Man is just a local food pavilion. It is in the middle of my home and my daughters high school. When I was living there, I occasionally bought the donuts from there, also my wife would bring a dozen to the office for sharing. Once I moved to another city, I realized how good The Donut Man is. All the other brands donuts taste a hint of bit, but The Donut Man doesnt. The Donut Man is so soft and lightly sweet (not too sweet).Now a days, I dont hesitate to drive the extra 10 miles to buy it. And remember, The Donut Man has special peach/strawberry donuts by season.

This was my first time to The Donut Man, and let me tell you, if youre going in blind, youre in for a treat. Come hungry, though. 👀I ended up getting 3 Tiger Tails, one of their Lemon Donuts, and the Apple Fritter (its size does NOT fit the word fritter, lol.) Their coffee is also considerably better than places like Dunkin Donuts - hot take, but Im gonna say it either way.The service at this place is also insanely fast for how busy they get, and do be patient if you go and theres a line. The strawberry (fresh whole berries) donuts are Stuffed and overflowing with large berries covered with a wonderful glaze. Truly a standout business in the east San Gabriel Valley. There is a reason why this is on many best of lists here and throughout the U.S. The strawberry donut is $5.00, and it is so worth it! It can feed two people. There is a good balance between the sweetness of the strawberries and the raised glazed donut that holds them.My wife and I also tried the lemon-filled and apple-filled donuts. They were excellent! They had the right amount of filling.This is the original location, but for those who live closer to Downtown Los Angeles, there is another location inside Grand Central Market.These donuts are worth the drive!

Been coming to donut Man for years, ever since the strawberry donut was 2.75 lol. Went last night and purchase 7 donuts. Out of those seven donuts three of them were dry. Raspberry cheesecake, cake w/sprinkles, chocolate cake w/chocolate & nuts, 🍋 filled were excellent. Unfortunately the buttermilk bar, cruller and red velvet w/ cream cheese seemed in my opinion as if they might have been sitting out or they were dry or a little bit stale . I miss back in the days when the strawberry donut and filled donuts water prepared in front of you. Also just a suggestion.. they might want to add arrows on the floor so the people in the line understand that you walk around the building to exit and not back through the line

Ive lived 5 miles away from the Donut Man for 30+ years. Finally made it there, to get one of the strawberry donuts. I wasnt impressed. I never add sugar to any dessert, but, I had to add a lot of sugar to my donut. Maybe they forgot the sugar when making them. Id rather spend less on a box of Entenmanns. At least its off my bucket list.

We love going to donut man. Always down for a strawberry donut. Went on 9/17, while waiting in line as per usual I just started looking at the donuts in the window, then looked to the top of the glass, which goes above the ceiling tiles. What caught my eye was the amount of dust/dirt that was sitting above the donuts. Asked for some of the newly made strawberry ones. Now I feel this is something that can be easily cleaned and will be good to go. It did appear as tho the glass may have been new as the other two large window panes that faced the front had tinting at the top of the window, covering that area. Included photos. Still love donut man. Hopefully they can address.

This place is popular. It doesnt matter the time of day, prepare to wait. If you are craving donuts, these are definitely worth the wait. For peach lovers, the peach donut was amazingly delicious! Its in season now. Aside from being tasty, they are larger than the average donut. Unfortunately its no longer strawberry season and I didnt get an opportunity try their famous strawberry donut. The staff is very professional, patient and friendly. I met a person who came all the from Barstow to Glendora just for the donuts . Thats how good they are. A world famous donut shack what could go wrong? Other than the 20 minute wait and other patrons feeling “crowded” 🤷‍♂️ by our kids it was a success all fried up! We went here for a birthday stop and got the famous strawberry donut 🍩🍓 along with some other classics! The potato flour dough was awesome and all the donuts had a homemade taste rather than the same tasting donuts you get at all the other mass produced places. Weekday afternoons can save you a 45 min wait.👍

Original location of popular doughnut spot. Note that the strawberry doughnuts are significantly more expensive than the other doughnuts, are seasonal, and require you to stand in a 45 minute long line even though there are only 6 parties ahead of you, but still worth a visit. They taste so fresh and the lightness of the glazed doughnut tastes just like summer.It’s open 24-7 and there’s always a line. There’s a small private parking lot on the left hand side of the stand. No areas available to eat your goodies. Credit cards are accepted. The raspberry jelly is strongly flavored and they were out of lemon when we were there. The tiger tails are popular but I would suggest going with a chocolate round filled doughnut.

It was our first time, me and my love drove all the way from Ladera Ranch just for these donuts. My brother from Philippines told me about it and tag me on my Facebook. So.. I got curious and we drove 53 miles from south. You can park at the back of the donut man or across the street. They are 24 hours, i wont recommend to go there after 10am because at this summer season its already 111°F, you dont want to stand up and line up for at least 30 to an hour. Donuts are fresh what I like is that they are not that sweet, fruits are fresh, together they are balanced. I think youll get 10% discount when you buy a dozen. Overall, its a nice experience, I personally like it. I do recommend the strawberry, peach, apple glazed donuts (seasonal) and also the tiger tail. Make sure you ask for forks and napkins because its kinda messy and also wet wipes. Thank you and have a good experience...

Got donuts at 130am and they had a huge variety and a great selection, all donuts that we got tasted amazing and fresh nothing stale or hard, the strawberry and tiger tail are awesome i would definitely recommend this place to my friends, the donuts here are huge and super feeling, if they are to big they do have normal sizes and great variety to pick from found this place from word of mouth, i would definitely visit again soon....i drove all the way from redlands just to try the donuts and it was worth the drive. I should have taken a hint when the guy before me said they skimped on the donuts he paid for. He was lucky he found out while still there. I found out miles away and in the mountains that I had 5 donuts, yet paid for 6. Also, the customer service wasn’t friendly. $16 for 6 donuts (5 in reality) and a milk.These donuts don’t resemble classic donuts. They’re very dense. I’d say it’s more of a sweet bread.I won’t go back.

Went to this location on a Thursday late afternoon. While most of the donuts shops in the area were closed or had no inventory, the donut man was open and fully stacked. The best donuts you will get on historic Route 66. I love the roasted ram to the left of the donut shop. Parking is not the best on the right hand side at the gym. Park to the left parking lot so there is no problems with the neighboring gym. Great donuts

We drive all the way from DTLA just for those Strawberry donuts and the Fresh sugar donuts. Here n there we get some stale or hard ones but rarely. For the most part its all delicious and really good variety. Specially their seasobal Strawberry donut thats just the best hands down 🥰 My husband loves the tigertails and also likes the plain glazed donuts. On cold days they even offer free coffee. The only thing I would recommend this business is that they enforce the distancing a bit more during this pandemic. Came a couple times these last couple of years during pandemic n it never really felt safe distancing wise. Ppl were always so close and never really respected the 6 feet apart. So Id really appreciate this. There was always long lines but bc its understandable not many can be working inside. Although it does seem a lot of work for 1 or 2 ppl to handle the long lines to be honest. Grateful they were open during pandemic just had those two things to say to let other customers know they can expect a long wait and no social distancing unfortunately. First & Last time coming here because I did not appreciate the customer service. I asked if I could get the left over peaches laying on the tray because my peach donut was the last one on the rack so why not just give me the peaches that they’re gonna throw out? And he said no because those peaches are from other donuts that’s alrdy been served… like what? and as he’s putting my donut in the box he drops a peach and i point it out again if i could have the peaches laying on the rack cause he just dropped one from mine. and he just continues to throw away the on that fell and tells me my total. This is cult food. Im not sure id say it has the best donuts ever, but nor am I an expert in the field. The line curves round the building whilst back of house staff feverishly produce vast quantities of donuts. The signature fuit filled are pricy ($4.50) but something different than other places. All that said the donuts we got were good and fufilled their promise.

Love this place. It was my first stop coming into LA from riding across the country. If you’re the kind of person that loves strawberries, this is a worthwhile stop when the strawberries are in season!Everything they have is fantastic but I think the strawberry donuts are my favorite of all haha.Parking lot is a little small but plenty of street parking!

They have some unique donuts here and they taste pretty good. Though this isnt my favorite place for donuts so I wont go far out of my way to come here. They are known for their Strawberry and Peach donuts which are good. These arent always available if the fruits are out of season.

Finally tried the famous strawberry donuts. Its over $5 for one but they are literally overflowing with berries. The filling isnt too sweet which is nice but its in a regular glazed donut shell. The fresh strawberries acidity gives it much needed balance but I think itd work better in an unglazed shell. The apple-filled was inedible to me because it was so overwhelmingly sweet with the cloying filling + glaze.Personal preference on the level of sweetness aside, all the donuts I tried tasted fresh and had perfect texture when I went around 11 am.

Donuts are soooo good. I went there about 9:45, line with 10 people, mostly college and young adults who probably go to Citrus, some older people there too. 5 employees there doing various things. Everyone got served at a reasonable pace.One minor thing, which might be not so good to someone else who has not worked in customer service before, is that I asked for the seasonal donuts (Pumpkin Cream)🎃 and they told me they only have Bavarian. So I ordered that. Then the person next to me ordered some and they got it. So I had to ask if they could give me the Pumpkin Cream 🍦 instead. Employee changed my order. But then I had to wait 20 minutes for them to get done.I get that working at such a popular store is stressful, but more communication wouldve been great. They couldve let me know that I would have to wait beforehand. That was not very professional. However, employee was nice, didnt have an additude and corrected my order more than once.

Ive been here a few times now and I have to say that these are my favorite donuts by far. Im all about the fruit filled ones.. strawberry.. apple.. peaches.. they are all fantastic! Of course they have a wide selection of donuts to choose from. Just make sure you park in the right parking lot.

Ive been coming here for years and years!!! They rotate out their donuts for different seasons (peach, strawberry, etc). But, Ive loved their various peanut butter donuts theyve had in the past a lot.But, THEE one thing I love the most there is their coffee!!! I dont know whats in their blend, but its the bestest Ive ever had!!! Even their decaf is great and thats where a lot of different places are really weak. Great donuts, nice people with working and waiting in line with you. These are some of the best donuts in California. We travel from Apple Valley for them and will always drive a little out of our way to come here if even remotely in the area. They are almost always cooking something. I can not remember not being able to get a hot donut of some type. Their tiger tails and fresh fruit filled donuts are out of this world. The milk is always fresh, and the coffee is always fresh and hot. I cant recommend one donut over another because they are all good. There is always a line but it moves fast and talking with the other costumers while you wait is part of the charm.

This place not only is delicious its worth the wait. Donuts are freshly made daily all day everyday. FYI they do not accept credit cards only cash. There is an ATM there but sometimes its out of order you have cross the street and go to the Valero gas station across the street. Parking .. do not park at the gym they will tow your car. You can park in front or there parking lot. If there really pack just drive a little further park on the street it will be 3 to 5 min walk.

I get it that people who buy a large number of donuts can slow you down, but you’ve been in business over 50 years, get your stuff together. Delicious donuts. We make the trek out here for their strawberry donuts. I don’t remember them costing $6 each but they’re quite large and can easily be split between 2 people. I personally prefer their tiger tails which are about as long as my arm. There’s no seating really so everything is to go. It’s a very small place. It’s a little far for us, maybe next time we’ll try their Downtown L.A location
