I love this company so much - they have always taken great care of my orders, negatives, and prints for the last 4-5 years. Great customer service, quick turnaround, and consistent quality. Would highly recommend for all of your 35mm and 120mm needs!

I’ve been looking for a lab that does a good job processing e6 film, I’ve had bad results in the past from labs not processing it right. Saw the darkroom on ig and sent them 4 rolls they all came out amazing and the color looks great thank you.

So excited to get my first photos back from The Darkroom, they are officially my new go-to! I was looking for an alternative since my local Walgreens where I used to send in my film went out of business, a friend recommended The Darkroom and I wish I had been doing this sooner! Very pleased with the service and simplicity of the whole process. I got my digital scans within the week of sending out my 2 rolls then the prints and negatives in the mail just a few days after that. I even had a unique red scale roll that I was nervous about and the results were wonderful.Thank you so much for the care, hard work, and devotion to keeping film alive! 🎞️

I have been getting my film developed here for years and I can say that the turnaround is so fast, literally the slowest part is shipping my film out to them. It always comes out great, they communicate every step of the way. I will absolutely be using them again.

The Darkroom is an incredible place to get your film developed! I placed the order online and it was super easy to find what you want/what youre getting, and to send it in. I had recently found a Pentax camera from the early 90s, at a rummage sale for $5. And to my surprise, there was a roll of film inside! I sent it out to get developed with The Darkroom, but unfortunately, the roll came out blank and didnt produce any photos. The Darkroom was incredibly helpful and kind, and offered me a full credit towards my next order/roll since the first one came out blank. If you ask me, thats an incredible customer service and experience. Because of that, I will now be sending any future rolls of film to get developed by them. Their turnaround/developing is very fast and I was completely satisfied with both transactions. Thank you, again!

On a recent trip to my parents house, I found my dads old Yashica MG-2 lying around.Got myself a Kodak color film and took it on a trip.Heard very good reviews about The Darkroom from my colleagues and friends, so decided to use their development and scanning (enhanced) service. They provide a free USPS shipping label, which is used to send the film. You only pay for the return shipping.Within a few days of shipping I received an email that my photos have been scanned and uploaded. The photos can be viewed on their website or on the mobile app.I received the negatives in a couple days after that.Overall, Im very happy with the quality and service.

Found about 30 rolls of filmed undeveloped in my moms basement. Was very nervous about sending them out because they are unreplaceable. I sent the company a list of questions and they responded very quickly. Sent the film out and got my photoa back! Love the fact that they are digitally scanned! It was also a treat because my dad passed away and there was many great photos of him!

I shot my first roll of film in over 30 years. The last time I touched film, it was a 110 cartridge in a Kodak Cameo Camera! Needless to say, I was a little nervous with my first DSLR 35mm shoot. The pictures turned out great. In my case, I had access to the scans of my negatives within 36 hours of getting the email that they had been picked up from the post office in California. Only an hour or two had passed, and then I got the email with the tracking number for my negatives. I didnt order any basic prints as I had no idea if I would have light leaks or if the pictures would even turn out. If you order the basic prints it might be a bit longer before your order is on its way back to you.I know that as of now my experience is only based on one impression, but its a good one. My wife and I are planning a family vacation this summer and I want to shoot exclusively on film. The Darkroom will get all of those cannisters as well. All of the good reviews I read on Reddit were 100% accurate. They are worth the price. Walgreens will cost you just as much, take much longer, and you wont get negatives back. Use The Darkroom!

So glad I found the Darkroom!Their service was relatively cheap (~$20) which included digital scans of 35 photos and shipping from FL to CA.I sent my roll on a Tuesday, it got delivered Saturday of the same week. I got a notification that it entered production the following Monday and I got my scans in the app the next day. My camera failed to focus on certain close ups like cats but the photos scanned were great and so was the Darkroom’s customer service.Thank you so much!!I shot these pictures on my mom’s old No Focus 35mm Polaroid using Fujifilm 200 35mm film :)

Let me start off by saying Im new to film photography and had been searching for a film development lab for quite sometime. My first roll I tired at a local area and it left a lot to be desired. Enter in The Darkroom. Id like to point out a few things that make this place amazing.1) Ease of ordering online. Ive tired other film labs and their online ordering process is so confusing. The Darkroom keeps it easy and simple. The online process is straight forward.2) Ease of sending your film. Literally you place your order online and print the order along with the shipping label they provide. All you do is package it and send it via USPS. Only cost me $2 buck to send it via a USPS packing slip.3) Time to process. I sent my two rolls of film on a Saturday and by that following Tuesday the Darkroom already had them in processing. By that Friday, I was notified my scans were uploaded and ready to download.**If I had to ding them for anything is that it then took another week for my physical photos to arrive, but thats also USPS.4) Scans & Printed photos. I just kept smiling and relooking at the images. Not only were the scans beautiful but once the actual physical photos arrived I just kept smiling at how everything turned out.5) Cost. The Darkroom was the only place I can find with reasonable pricing for both scans and prints. I actually felt like I was getting a great deal for all I got in return. In summary, I will now be using the Darkroom for all my film needs. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.
