For some reason I always thought this place just had a bunch of plastic boxes and when we actually needed one, we went there. Surprise surprise! Theres all kinds of cool storage stuff in there! Loved it and actually spent time walking the aisles and looking at many different types of storage items! Very cool store.

This place is a hassle. They have some good stuff, but the rare times Ive had to pick up something here there has always been an issue and its always connected to people. Some of the people shopping at this location are rude and oblivious, so are the employees. One employee raced past me behind me, Do you need any help? Im looking around, oh there he is, No, Im good thank you. I was thinking, Youre racing past and shouting the question from afar. Obviously, youre busy and in a hurry somewhere and not interested in helping anyway, so dont bother asking. I didnt need any help, but thought it was odd.Im waiting in line to buy a couple of items and theyve only got one register open. And that woman at the register is engaged in inquisitive chit-chat. Theyre having a whole conversation. I think thats fine to do when you dont have a long line of people and youre not the only open register. This is about being aware of your surroundings and not being oblivious.A few feet from me is a store rep stocking stuff. Then at one point she hops up briskly walks past me, but is so close when she does that, that if she stepped just two inches closer, she wouldve bumped into me. There was an entire space around me for her to walk properly. I ended up putting my mask on after that as you cant trust people. They walk blindly as if youre not there. You have eyes and a thinking mind, so pay attention to your actions and your words.Then the woman behind the register finally finishes with her conversation then calls out, Come on, lets go everybody. I walked up, Dont talk to me or anyone like that please. She quickly buttoned up realizing, Yeah, I dont have any tolerance for rudeness. Take some etiquette classes lady.And by the way, before I was a successful businessman, I was a store manager for one of the largest retail chains in Southern California with great success and praises for myself and my colleague employees, so I know a great deal about retail. This place lacks in class and etiquette. And mind you, I didnt start anything. I came here to shop quietly and leave without engagement. Couldnt even do that because people just dont behave well, but you expect it from the staff at least.

My experience so far has been good. The associates let me shop comfortably and when you ask them to help you with something is always with a great attitude. Great Team! They had 1 out of 2 things I was looking for but its okay. Was looking for specific containers, and specific drawers for a plexi shelving unit I have.

They have so much neat stuff! It is worth a long browse even if you think you dont need anything. I was delighted by the many colors of hangers that they have in the front of the store. Vivid primary colors. I know I will go back for. Some. .32 cents a piece and they will brighten up any closet! They had a neat chrome under Cabinet stemware holder, my original reason for being there.

Pay for an installer. Don’t get talked out of it. It’s worth a finished project and $250.People who helped with closets were nice. Eva at the front was one of the rudest people I’ve come across.

I can imagine that walking into heaven is something like walking into the container store. EVERY single time I have had a question and call beforehand, the staff is helpful, resourceful, and just downright affable. Hate making returns or exchanges? Not here you don’t. It’s so quick and uncomplicated. Shopping here is fun and easy! Keep in mind that if you are looking for specific items check online first or call ahead because many items are flying off the shelves. I blame Marie Kondo & The Home Edit. If it helps, place your order online and the staff will have your items to you in no time at all. Oh! And sign up for their points because it always helps to save a few dollars.

A disappointing experience. I had to go replace a piece for my closet organizer. They did not have the piece on the floor but someone helped me ordering the piece and would have it delivered to the store for me. When I went to pick up the item, the associate went to retrieve the item. She reappeared 10 minutes later to tell the item was not there and that the item is no longer made. I was justified in asking then why the person ordering it still took the order, charged me and made me come back to pick up to then be told the item is out of production. I was told that my card would be credited, with expectation that I would leave. I told her based on this experience that I was not leaving until the payment was returned. The associate then went into the back - for 15 minutes - before she reappeared to credit my account at the register. I have lots of questions, but absolutely curious why I was left waiting for 15 minutes to just get my refund. Thoroughly frustrating experience, that had everything - incompetence, arrogance disdain. Thoroughly, amateur hour. Please didn’t give such contempt and incompetence any of your money.

Visited recently for a curbside pick up. after checking in I was pretty surprised how quickly they brought the order out. didnt wait very long after parking. everything was wrapped neatly with smaller items and receipt clearly visible (no second guessing if everything was there or not). definitely wont hesitate to order for pick up again in future.

I had one particular product in mind. One of the salesmen helped me find it right away, help me figure out exactly the one to buy and how to install it. The lady who checked me out enrolled me in their Rewards program quickly and efficiently, and they got me in and out of there in 10 minutes. Really nice people, really cool stuff. Highly recommended.

For years Ive been a huge fan of this store and have enjoyed shopping here. However, there seems to have been a shift in the customer service. The last 5 times Ive visited this store, not one person has offered to help me. The employees are all too busy to help. My visit last week was the final straw. The store was a disaster and not only would no one help, you couldnt even move around the store as items were all over the floor. I love the products so I will just buy them online from now on.

The staff and customer service is great but the address was officially changed in June 2018 by the El Segundo City Council, to 710 South Pacific Coast Highway (it is no longer South Sepulveda Blvd.), El Segundo, Ca 90245 per city of El Segundo Planning Department. Make a note of this before you go there especially if you take a transportation agency there as they may be looking for South Sepulveda Blvd. and will not cind it. I speak from personal experience, thank you.

I like the closet systems carried by this company, however, the employees at this container store were unhelpful and rude. I tried to ask for information regarding closet systems and how to set up appointments but the employee was brief and rude. I had the sense that I wasnt welcome there due to the fact that she looked at me up and down in a slightly disturbed way and began speaking to me in a slooooow manner, making sure to pronunciate her words as if I didnt understand english because of the color of my skin. I guess Im too brown skinned for this store.

We went into the Container Store to look at the Elfa system for our kitchen pantry. No associates were available, but two were actively helping one couple get things they needed. One of them noticed us and broke away to assist us. We wound up needing a designer, but they were all with customers. We were told wed be next in line and someone would find us (I was wearing a pretty bright shirt :-)). About ten minutes later, Juan came over and started the design process. Juan really helped us visualize what we were getting and had great ideas to help save us some money. All told, we were in and out in an hour, and literally every person we encountered (other customers notwithstanding) had a smile on their face and were incredibly courteous. This was my first shopping experience at The Container Store, but it definitely wont be my last.

This is a bright, open Container Store with super friendly staff who seem to always be there when you need them. The selection is great, and as with other Container stores, they have everything from new hardware to refills. It never seems crowded here (which is nice), and lines for the register are always quick!

Apparently, the hours need to be adjusted on google rather they’re temporary or not. Drove for 35 mins just for the store to be closed 2 hours early! Google says the store closes at 8pm on Saturdays, but upon arriving the store you see the actual hours posted on store door.

I usually love TCS, but this location has Horrible customer service. I saw workers everywhere, but all were too busy to help me locate some products. Oddly enough, for the first time in a long while, i actually felt discriminating stares from employees there.

Very organized and always clean. If you are looking for a very particular shaped or purpose containers, youll find it here. Otherwise TJ Max may offer cheaper choices. I LOVE their small home organization gadgets, such as for bundling cables, hooking up wires, hanging stuff at small place, in this aspect, nobody does better than The Container Store. :)

Sadly, I drove to three different Container Stores even though I was told telephonically they had the items. Manager(Sorry, forgot her name.) at El Segundo emphasized and was a great help to me. I needed the item ASAP otherwise I would have ordered online. I like their Bisley products but the service was a little lacking at the other locations. I have to admit, it only happened on this particular day, maybe the planets were not aligned correctly....LOL
