Hey yesterday i went to a phone store i tagged it in this post i paid them 60 dollars to glue my screen back to my phone. I went home and it wasnt glued to the phone. So i called them back and they said i had a 90 days to go back and fix it and get my money back.Today I went back to the phone store with my dad so I had a witness so I could not be scammed.They told me and my dad i couldnt get my money back and i was banned from the store didnt get my phone fixed they grabbed my phone and pulled the screen apart so my screen isnt connected to my phone. They also cussed me and my dad out.I am out 60 bucks and no phone. I have a phone coming in the mail on Saturday. They are very unprofessional.They are so poor i will not be giving them any stars do not go here. They are scamming people left and right. The boss cussed me out and my dad out i was promised a 90 day to comeback and give my money back did not happen and obviously he doesnt care about his ccustermors and my pictures are proof that he didnt fix it i have proof and i know and if you look at his reviews if something was wrong he denies everythin. And ripping people off and you own a bussiness you shouldnt

I tried calling them about 4 times in the morning and no one would answer as I have no knowledge of this place and wanted to ask some questions. I went in person so they can fix my PC but they charge $80 for a diagnostics?! I went elsewhere after this.

I love the staff here they are super friendly, bilingual, and knowledgeable. I’m still waiting on my results for a firmware password stuck on my Mac so hopefully all is well. It was 50$ for the assessment and attempt to remove firmware, he said if it goes through itll be only couple hundred bucks which is a steal (if it works bc if it doesn’t I’m out a computer due to OS Mac) and also if it doe NOT work he said he would simply return my computer to me :) no extra charge.Parking lot sucks but you just need to go when it’s not busy like after 2PM and avoid weekends it’s the parking lot that sucks not the store

Had gotten in a late Sunday afternoon to buy 32gb ram. Ended up getting home to find out I had 2 4gb sticks of ram lmao. Called them back and got the issue taken care of hassle free! I’m glad he was understanding! We all make mistakes! Just make sure to check your products before you leave as things get misplaced and end up having an event like mine! Will be coming back to buy more products once im ready to build my own custom build!

I have gone here several times for computer issues and broken device screens, power ports and buttons that stopped working.As far as I know from my own experiences...they do professional work. Sometimes you have to wait for parts they need to order.I think they are top notch actually. If you can be patient while they do their work...they come through everytime.My only complaint is the initial diagnostic fee of $50. Which is fine for some devices Ive taken in. Like a laptop of mine. It had frozen up from viruses. And I can understand the need for a diagnostic on such a thing as that. But I took in a tablet with a broken on off button. I knew what was broken when I dropped it. And I told them as much. But they were still going to charge me 50 for that diagnostic. So I complained a bit....and the guy took it down 10 bucks. I thought that was a good enough discount. And in about a week, I had my tablet back.I would recommend this business to everyone.

Paid for replacement screen for my IPad and had issues within a month, defective screen. The business told me they would reinstall the same defective screen and if the problem persisted they would replace with a non defective one since I let them know early during the warranty period. I contacted them back when the problem returned with the defective screen and now they refuse to replace because it was no longer under warranty. They should have replaced the screen when I brought it under warranty instead of asking me to “try the defective screen again”. Service would be fine if they fixed where they were wrong but it’s clear that doing ethical business isn’t a strong point at Computer Depot.

I dont recommend anyone to go here.They tried to repair my Xbox one x hdmi port but made it worse than it was to the point where It cant be repaired at all.the workers dont know what theyre doing they need to reimburse me with my Xbox one because of the work they did was horrible if you couldnt fix it why lie to everyone else that you guys can fix them.out of 10 gaming consoles they work on at least 4 of them are damaged.

Really loved how helpful and quick the employees were. The place isn’t fancy but they know what they are doing. They were very detailed when looking at my equipment. I especially love how they worked with me. They have great promotions and sales going on. Their discounts are amazing almost considered buying some pc upgrades for my gaming pc. They really worked with me and that was very helpful. Bring your equipment by it’s not just computers, they helped bring my tablets back to life. My partner came in to get their laptop fixed given it was working incredibly slow. I recommended this place given the good reviews and was hoping for at least decent customer service. Instead the gentleman that assisted us was generally rude and dry- making us feel stupid for bringing in a laptop to be fixed. Even when speaking on the phone with them to discuss the diagnosis it was like the game was to belittle the customer. We don’t think we’re particularly difficult people, we just wanted our laptop fixed, which hey, they did their job in a timely fashion (3 days) I am not arguing that. Just maybe in the future have like a touch of kindness towards your customers rather than making them feel stupid for even stepping through your doors and asking for help.To reply to your reply: thank you for the response- your work was fine and timely, I’m not questioning that. Just having a decent amount of respect and kindness towards us would have went a long way. Regardless, thank you for the response- best of luck to your business going forward & take care.

My Samsung S21 Ultra decided to take a dump on me on Presidents day weekend. I organize my entire life on my phone including facilitating business meetings. Very worried, I called at least 3 businesses and felt at ease after talking to Ali at The Computer Depot. He recommended a diagnostic test to determine the root cause. Unlike the other places, they all had assumed it was an LCD screen replacement which would have been at least a $500 bill. Ultimately, Ali was able to save me 90% of that after realizing it was an internal hardware issue. I trust him and his team. Another place might have just told me I needed a new screen and charged me regardless. Life saved. Therefore, I recommend them!

They took care of it for a very reasonable price. What impressed me the most was they were more concerned about making sure I was satisfied than just getting a product out. They always try to make their customers happy. They go above and beyond any other repair store in town. Being one of the last brick & mortar stores selling computer components has got to be tough. I first came here to buy a case and found one almost immediately. then I had issues with my new mother board cause if a bios update error and there were able to slice it within a day the fastest I have ever seen. Needed a CPU cooler to fix a client PC (broken during shipping). Only had 2 on the shelf, one was $75 ($42 on amazon, $44 at BestBuy but out of stock) and the other was $149 ($44 on amazon). I needed it that day so bought the one for $75. When I got back to the client site I found the seal was already broken and when I examined the contents it appeared to be used. The tube of thermal paste was missing, as well as the instructions and nut-driver tool. Its one thing to over charge, but it is next level to over charge for something that was used/open box.... not sure if this was malicious or incompetence, but I would be very careful of what you buy here.

The computer depot was dope didn’t try to take my money or anything which is shocking because most company seem like that’s all they want matter a fact he even offered me my money back when he was not able to install the drive I wanted because it was not compatible with my computer. The computer depot team have helped me time and time again, I had my Asus rogue 3 phone brake on me. As a gaming phone it was hard to find the right place to fix it,but the computer depot had it working in no time. Recently, I had my computer CPU overheating, Bakersfield heat doesnt help much, but I had it checked by the computer depot team. I took my computer and printer to make them work together. For some reason there was a communication problem. My printer had stopped working. It turned out the problem was much more complicated than initially thought. More interested in selling their overstock inventory than getting you what you want. Ugly cases and pre-builts. Came in a while ago because my PC wouldnt turn on because of my power supply. They charged $60 initially and then another $60 for a new power supply. Before coming to pick it up, I got a call from them saying Your motherboard is missing some standoffs, and it will affect your PC. They wanted to charge me another $60 just to put in some standoffs, I declined, and went to pick up my build. When I got there, the guy asked is this your first build? I said yes. He then said yeah because its not built well at all.. Thanks dude. He then told me that because of the missing standoffs, the motherboard was touching the case, and thats the reason my power supply was bad. He said that if I didnt put the standoffs in, it would eventually fry my components, which is not true. He told me that the red LED on my case blinks because of voltage issues caused by the mobo, this is a flat out lie. The red LED indicates hard drive/SSD usage and has nothing to do with power.TL;DR: They got the job done, but that one guy either has no idea what hes talking about or is trying to rip people off.

Don’t trust this place. I took my laptop in here when it suddenly started showing a blank red screen with the loading symbol in the center upon startup, nothing would work on it including safe mode or even the menu to get to safe mode only ctrl + alt + del and a blue background would show up with three options being internet power and ease of access. I asked them to fix it they told me they’d need to run diagnostics which costed 40 bux. So I paid it and three days later they tell me it’s not fixable that something was spilled on the computer. I knew better. So I took it to a friend that has experience with computers and repairing them. Took him less than a week to completely restore it and two days to figure out the hard drive was full to maximum and that was part of what caused the problem as well as a connection problem within the system. I deserve my money back. They also suggested I take a look at the refurbished computers they had in stock like they were just money hungry. Don’t go here if you value your money and truly want your electronic fixed.Additionally: they “ forgot” to give back my computer power supply so I had to run back and get it an hour later yet when I picked my computer up all the other computers they had that were on the shelf of repaired or ready to be returned computers all had their power supply cords sitting on top of the computer they belonged to very neatly.

Amazing service, great pricing!! Had a new computer build that was not booting up. They diagnosed it as two bad dimm slots on the Motherboard (Moe even came back in and worked on the diagosnics until the wee hours of the morning, as nothing was making sense at all - hence why it ended up there after the custom build would not boot up and post). Ended up rmaing the board back to NewEgg for a refund and purchasing a new one from them (at a higher price than I could get had I bought from NewEgg again, but I was able to get it right then). Also cut me a deal on putting it in and everything back together (I just didnt want to hassle with it all again). Thanks Moe and crew!! I havent ever taken a computer or electronic device for repair there but I do know that there wasnt bad customer service at all. The people who worked there were very kind and helpful with good advice and suggestions. They had a good selection of RAM and the same goes for there processors. They had a smaller, but still decent amount of towers and power supplies, but those were all good most being high end. They also had a good amount of hard drives and GPUs. The most extensive thing they carried though was there motherboards they had an entire shelf devoted to a variety of motherboards with a very reasonable price tag, some even lower then the super companies that can choose their price tag with more ease. They had another row devoted to items like internet boxes and similar devices. The last shelf was filled with used computers, all being at a good price. On the bottom row, they had scrap and repairable computers, most in which the price was as much as the tower or processor alone and used. My favorite part was the customer service which was out standing. They helped me find half the components needed o build my computer at a minimum of $10 less then the larger companies charged.

They told me, that my hard drive was damaged which is true since its old and they told me to buy a 150GB hard drive for $80 plus $50 on installation or 3TB for $200. Amazon sells 1TB hard drives for about $60. Also the 3TB was a desktop hard drive dont know how they would have fit that on a laptop. So I took my gaming desktop to run a diagnostic and they said they that the diagnostic took 5-7 days and they will give an update to let us know what’s up with it and I got a call back and they said that they “tested” every part of the computer and said that it worked and that the power supply was the issue and that they ordered a power supply to see if that’s the problem a few days later I get a call from them saying that we can’t fix your computer it won’t turn on and that the motherboard was probably it but it would be no use of fixing it so a few days my sister went to go pick it up my hdmi cord and the plug to power on the computer was missing and they claimed that we don’t take wires even though you are supposed to power it on the computer with it I would not recommend going to this place because it’s sketchy.

If youre in a bind and need some quirky part right now then you might want to check this place out. Granted, Ive gotten some stuff from NewEgg within a day or two with their standard shipping option. The employees seem like people that just know something about some computer they got for Christmas and decided to make it their profession. If you know what part you need and have all the information then you can use this place as a glorified computer parts dispenser but pack a lunch if you think youre going to get any kind of information and/or help out of their staff. Its almost like their staff works across the street at the mall in some obscure kiosk and got a job there because its within walking distance and they dont have to borrow their moms car to get to and from their various jobs. I TOOK MY COMPUTER THERE TWIVE FEW YEARS AGO. PAID BOUT $300 TOTAL. THEY SAID MY COMPUTER WAS FINE BOTH TIMES. THEY DID NOT FIX ANYTHING. COMPUTER KEPT BLACKING OUT. ENDED UP BUYING A NEW COMPUTER. WISH COULDVE PUT $300 TOWARDS NEW ONE.

They over charge for things that you can get for $10 to $20 they charge you 60 & 70 but the people in the store customers service is good. Well at least you can get that for the.money you spending in there.🤦🏾‍♂️😂
